Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader, Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Elizabeth Warren in friends, So apply Donald Trump with some
toilet paper, yeah, Warren in friends. Well, Elizabeth and her
buddy from Massachusetts, Jim McGovern And what was it like?
Another about a total of twenty twenty don Gas Doggy

(00:39):
has gotten together in they sent Donald Trump a letter,
strongly worded letter. And again, Nyvid Fatcy, I told you
so a moment told you this was going to happen.
I told you as soon as Donald Trump got elected,
Democrats were going to start firing off letters. The media
was going to get all bent out of shape because
the price of eggs hasn't come down immediately, and the

(00:59):
price of groceries hasn't come down. And that's again not
even a week in again, a letter, a letter here,
A you're focusing on mass deportations and pardoning January sixth, attackers,
you're not bringing food prices down, and there's an e
shortage out there. Again, I'm sure Donald Trump will take

(01:22):
that letter and use it for toilet paper. I'm sorry,
zero respect. Why don't you take a look at the
list of people who signed this letter. It is, it's great,
it's it's a quite a collection of resumes of people
that have never done anything in their entire lives outside

(01:44):
of working for government pretty much. They look at Jim
McGovern's cebe nothing. He's lived in Washington, d C. Practically
his whole life, kissing his kissing ass, working for various
different power pliticians, trying to weasel his way to the top.
They ever run a business, is understand how the world works,
No freaking way. None of these people that that's who

(02:09):
they are. But again, I don't live in the state
of Massachusetts. They're free to vote for whatever more on
they choose. Expect more of this, And again I cautioned everybody,
but I hadn't cautioned Trump and his campaign. Trump does
tendency to exaggerate, and the idea that prices were going

(02:32):
to be coming down as soon as he took office
was patently absurd. We've done an enormous amount of damage
to our economy. We've done an enormous amount of damage.
You take a look at the fiscal situation we're in.
Inflation has been around, it's come down, but it's still very,
very high. Doesn't go away. Prices don't reverse overnight. They

(02:57):
will over time. It's the same content. You know, you
walk into a gym and you're way out of shape,
you can barely breathe, you got no cardio, and you think, uh, well,
I'm gonna go to the gym for a week and
I'm gonna be all set. I'm gonna six pack. No, no,
you can. You can. But like everything in life, it's

(03:18):
gonna take work, time and effort, and without a doubt. Uh,
Donald Trump has got a lot of work in front
of them. These uh, these you know, little chattering class
fools on the left. You put us in this situation,
so guess what, shut up? Watch dog on Wall Street
