Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Oh yeah, kickbacks and bribery, and Trump alluded yesterday that
maybe kind of throw it out too, Maybe we should
look into who's getting the kickbacks on all of these
deals that Doze is uncovering again. My suggestion, my suggestion
of Donald Trumps again, come out and be forceful about it,
(00:37):
but leave everybody an option. Leave everybody an option. You
know how all these leftists I moved to Canada exile them. Yeah,
they could do it themselves. They could exile themselves. You know,
you basically say we're coming after you. You know, if you
(00:57):
got a passport, I strongly suggest you use it, move
yourself to a non extradition country because if you're getting kickbacks,
we're gonna find you. We're coming after you again. Anyway,
I got to give credit what credits due here. I
got another great piece today by John Conrad again talking
(01:21):
about American Hustle twenty twenty five. I loved that movie.
By the way, I've talked about it here on the
program with Christian Bale and Amy Adams Roberts who had
a piece in that as well, Bradley Cooper, and it
was about the whole ab scam scandal where it was
the mayor of Camden, New Jersey and a suit case
(01:43):
full of cash. And they've gotten a lot more clever
over the years. Politicians and people in power, they don't
take suitcases full of cash, won't they get other ways
of getting their money? Speeches after they leave Biden yesterday, Eh, hey,
Biden is all of a sudden a leading man. Yeah,
(02:03):
he signed with c AA, the big agent there in Hollywood.
They don't even care. It's so crooked and they just
do it right in front of our faces. Well, Conrad
put together a piece about bribery and how bribery is done,
and I've talked about this around the edges, in particular
(02:27):
when it comes to people in government and getting jobs
with defense contractors Boeing. We've discussed Boeing for a long
period of time. Boeing has been weakened to the core
based upon this system. It's been destroyed because of this.
Quite frankly, you got to understand how it works. Okay,
(02:48):
what's going on at USAID, what we're seeing, and how
it works today in America. How to bribe How to
bribe a four star US Army general. Okay, no, no cash. Okay. Listen.
If you're going to be bribing, you're going to be
bribing some general and some you know tin pot country somewhere.
(03:12):
You got to pay them cash. You've got to give
them cash, bitcoin, whatever it may be. Here in the
United States. This is legal. This is how you legally
bribe a general. Now you're a defense contract you're boeing.
You're boeing. You play the long game. You invite the general.
You know, nice dinner, nice there. I know this great,
(03:35):
great little spot in Georgetown area. You know we're gonna
have this meeting here and then you know you've been great. Uh,
you know, we love your support and this is this
is for you know, we're doing this all for the
American people. Wink wink mm hmm. Then you you mentioned said, well, listen,
you know we might we just might have just might
(03:57):
have a board seat up. You know, we see a
board seat opening up within the next five or six
years here at the company. Can we give you a call.
Can we give you a call to help us find
good candidates? Shit, fast forward five years. All of a sudden,
(04:17):
four star general gets a seat on the board and
it pays five hundred thousand dollars a year for five years.
And again it's basically for maybe I'm being generous, maybe
ten days worth of work over the course of the year.
If that and those ten days of work are at
some fancy pants hotel somewhere. Again, you just you just
(04:41):
got two point five million dollars. Then you get the
board seat shovel. Oh yeah, this is okay. So the
company that's a Boeing gets a big contract, it's a
big contract because of this for stuff our general and
his connections. And then this other company gets you know,
(05:04):
a big control money as well because of an admiral.
So what you do is that other company gives a
board seat to that admiral and then they sit on
each other's boards and again they hook each other up. Congressman,
you know what this is? How you do this? You
get them, You get the congressmen or woman to steer
(05:27):
a contract your way. You take some of that money
and you set up a non profit and ergoh not
too fancy, but you can move some money around here
and there. Now, years later they decide to retire or
they're voted out all of a sudden, Oh look at that,
(05:49):
You got a board seat waiting for that congressman or
woman again. You use them and their connections to get
more money from USAID. That's right. And then you just
you know, keep doing it over and over and over again,
and then you got yourself a self sustaining influence machine,
(06:11):
