Poorer stories all over the internet now coming from people
in California looking to recover, rebuild their homes. And again California,
I got the rules. Remember we were told they were
going to, you know, basically relax all the building rules
and clean up rules and let people go and fix
(00:36):
their properties. Yeah, not so much. Here's an example of one.
And I'm gonna give you the cheat code. Okay, all
of you people in California, I'm gonna give you the
cheat code how you can avoid all of this nonsense.
Here we go. Here is somebody goes this was you know,
sent over to me like many others, house burns down.
(01:00):
He's got to his insurance company needs the blueprints, needs
a blueprints. But this kind of reminded me as well,
I don't have my blueprints in a fireproof safety here
in my house. I'm going to have to do that.
His insurance company asked for the blueprints to process the claim. Okay,
(01:22):
didn't have him in a fire. They burned down. Okay,
there's no blueprints left, so he's got to go. He's
got to go get a copy of the blueprints which
are on file. Gotta him on file with the Los
Angeles Department of Building in Safety LADBIS Ladbiss, that's the acronym.
They require. Ladbiss requires a release letter from the architect
(01:49):
to give him his blueprints, which again I quite can't
get my arms around. Why I mean, you paid for
you know, you paid for the blueprints, You paid the architect.
Why would the architect have to sign off on the
release of something that you paid for. But again, hey,
it's California, they got the rules. Okay, So he gets
(02:12):
the he gets the release, goes down there. The whole
process takes a week, goes down to get the blueprints.
They won't give him to them. Well, the architects signed
the request paperwork on the wrong part of the page
(02:33):
and Ladbiss Ladbis says that they need to start the
whole process over. What do you mean you know they
just the instruction was the architect just needs to sign
the page, and he did that. So the Ladbiss, the
(02:55):
lad Bis clerk. And I can just picture what this
clerk looks like. But he signed over the seal. He's
supposed to sign next to the seal. Uh yeah, but
he signed it. Who cares? But he signed the wrong
part of the page. And again you're arguing. You know
(03:16):
how spurned down. You know this is going to take
a long time. You know I'm not going to be
able get to get this process with insurance. Can you
please let this go?
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Clerk?
Speaker 2 (03:28):

like the guy from the bus driver in Romance, Sing
