Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah, we got ourselves, say, deep state exodus, movement of
JA people. As Bob Marley would say. Yes, the Washington,
DC real estate market is collapsing right now. Yep, recession
begins in DC. Active home listings have skyrocket. You can

(00:38):
go online see for yourself all these multi million dollars,
million dollar homes all of a sudden wow on the market.
The average medium home price in DC has fallen by
one hundred and forty thousand. In the past thirty days,
four thousand homes have been listed for sale in and

(00:58):
around Washington, DC. No, I don't feel bad. No, I
don't feel bad at all. Sorry. Sorry. Let me put
it to you this way. Okay, I'm gonna give you
D seven. Well, four out of the seven wealthiest zip
codes in the country are around Washington d C. Loudon County, Virginia,

(01:25):
Falls Church, Virginia, Fairfax County, Virginia, Howard County, Maryland, Arlington County, Virginia.
These are all people that work in DC. Now, can
you name for me any big companies in big industry
that is set up in and around the Washington DC area. No,

(01:51):
I didn't think so. Now, oh sure, sure they've opened
up offices there so they can go lobby and they
can have meetings with politicians. Some big companies have done that.
But they don't build anything, and they don't create anything.
I am thrilled again. Lots of layoffs again, Trump and

(02:13):
a lot of people they can, you know, take their
take the severance pay and leave. Not to mention the
fact the latest cuts have Trump put forward basically cutting
two hundred thousand probationary workers and they're gone, and they're gone. Anyway,

(02:33):
let's I'm going to go through how these people operate
and work in the Washington DC or the lifestyles of
the rich in liberal d C. And you know what
I probably shouldn't even say liberal, Okay, I really shouldn't.
It's Republicans as well. So again you get billions and

(02:58):
billions of dollars and grant money, and again you get
all these people in DC. They work for these nngos,
all of these NGOs and you work for these NGOs,
you work for these nonprofits. There all this stuff funded
with our tax dollars. You know, we the people that

(03:19):
actually build stuff and create stuff, and you know what,
they get paid three hundred thousand dollars or more. It
was interesting in the case of the Kennedy Center, Trump
fired the head of the Kennedy Center. That COO is
getting paid almost one and a half million dollars. Wont
to do again. I took a look at the Kennedy

(03:42):
Center and some of the other people that are working there.
Chief administrative officer half a million dollars CFO four hundred
and thirty three thousand dollars, the concert master four hundred
twenty two thousand dollars, Senior vice president Development four hundred
nineteen thousand dollars, Gary Ginz four hundred and one thousand.
That's them. Give me his name. He was executive director,

(04:06):
senior vice president of marketing and sales four hundred thousand.
I go right on down a list, all these people
getting paid big money. Do you think the Kennedy Center
runs some sort of profit. No, No, it's been discovered

(04:26):
all sorts of building improvements have been let go they
haven't done it. Basically, it's all these people working for
the Kennedy Center that are enriching themselves off you and I.
It's disgusting, it's gross. They should be ashamed of themselves.
But anyway, let's get back into it. So you got
you got a married couple there. One works for one
NGO and another one works for another ngo or nonprofit

(04:50):
that they're pulling in seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars
a year, barely working barely. Again, this is government work.
They're barely doing a fricking thing for crying out loud,
and again, this is all off of us. Now it
doesn't stop there. Let's say you make some extra money. Hey,
you know you want to go on a free vacation. Yes, yes,

(05:14):
we're going to free vacation. Well, you know there's a
conference being held in Aspen, or there's a conference being
held in Switzerland, and of course the nonprofit's going to
fly you there, provide accommodations, and of course all your
meals are going to be paid for. Same deal. Let's

(05:34):
says travel all over the globe. Oh yeah, we would
love to send our executives that they need to go, right,
and then their kids. They get in on the scam
because what you do is you start a conference organizing business.
So you just you start holding conferences. You start as

(05:56):
a business. Again, these conferences are paid for with our
tax dollars, with our money, because they need to send
all of these executives to these fancy pants conferences. Now again,
they might even take an ownership interest in these businesses.
Why not. Why not you open yourself up an offshore account,

(06:19):
yeah good, Cayman Islands, Switzerland, whatever it may be. And
then then forget about it. This is where you really
start doing stuff. I've talked about this plenty occasions here.
Speaker fees, oh yeah, yeah, all those things speaker fees
and vendors are not accounted for item by item. You
hold a gala and you pay everybody one hundred thousand

(06:42):
dollars to give a fifteen to twenty mid speech. Freaking genius, right,
happens all the time. Yeah, yeah, And again, the funny
thing is that they're discovering now that all of these
judges that are making these rulings are in on this
scam as well. Their families are taking a piece of

(07:04):
this action. This is why they're fighting back against this.
This is the racket. Okay, this is the racket. And
again is it Rico worthy? Absolutely all these people should
be in fricking jail. They should be. But again I
don't know. I guess what they're doing is legal. Again,
it's that gray area. You know, laws written in you know,

(07:27):
not letting in black and white, They're written in gray.
The same thing. We're fraudsters on Wall Street. They get
away with the same thing all the time. You have
laws that are written in gray. Again, you have to
have an ethical bypass at birth willing to engage in this.
But these people don't care. You know what's interesting is
is we mentioned last week here on the podcast that

(07:49):
search searches for criminal defense attorneys in the DC area
have gone through the roof, while other ones are popping
up as well. Again, these are some of the top
searches right now in the DC area. Bleach Bit. Oh yeah,
that's how you again, bleach Bit. Remember Hillary Clinton and
wiping your hard drive? Big search for that wipe hard drive,

(08:12):
Another big search, offshore bank, another big search. I mean
it just one thing after another. Wipe erase, rico, all
sorts of stuff here. Gee, I wonder what's going on
there In Washington, DC watchdog on Wall street dot Com
