Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Donkey's Gone Mega, Donkey's gone Mega? I do maybe well,
this is a not kidding. You had various different Donkey consultants,
various different campaign staffers. They had a meeting. They had
a meeting this past month, and they laid out solutions
so the Donkeys could regain working class trust and reconnect
(00:40):
with them culturally. Here are some of the things that
they laid out. The party should embrace community and traditional
American imagery. Democrats should ban far left candidates basic refuse
to participate informs that create ideological purity tests, move away
(01:02):
from the dominance of small dollar donors. They should push
back against our left snappers and groups that exert a
disproportionate influence on policy and messaging. They should get out
of elite circles and into real communities, showing up at tailgates,
gun shows, and churches. They need to own the failures
(01:28):
of democratic governance in large cities and try to improve
local government. Now it's funny that you actually was it.
Ram Emanuel was on Bill Maher's program. He was saying
these types of things. Do you people stand for anything
outside of just power? Let's be honest too, So basically
(01:56):
you are going to completely advocate everything that you you
basically su stood for just so you can win.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Again. I keep thinking of Gollum from Lord of the
Rings with the you know, the ring, the process. It's
power that these people crave and del morphs into anything
or act in a certain way in order to win,
(02:30):
you know, trying to understand, get your arms around this.
Who the Democrats have become, the far left, policies that
they have pushed, the nonsense with the genders and all
this other crap that they've been doing. And you're gonna
you're gonna give all of a sudden, you're gonna give
that all up, and you're gonna start going to gun
shows people again. This is why you know, I caution
(02:57):
against following politics and I whether it be the Donkey Elephant,
whatever it may be, simply because they're you know, they're
two face. There was a character in the Nightmare Before Christmas,
Tim Burton's thing. It was the mayor of the the
Halloween town there and his face would spin around. Yeah.
(03:20):
So yeah, in essence was you know politicians two face
that that's who these people are. And now they're going
to come out, They're going to start owning all the
crap that's been taking place in these these inner cities. Okay, again,
I I don't know who these people are. I don't
(03:41):
know what they stand for. And again I kind of
think that that's what has separated, you know, the MAGA
movement actually from the Republicans as well, is the fact
that I think the much of the MAGA movement and
the people that are supporting Trump at this point in
time is they're just tired of Republicans as well. And again,
(04:01):
I left the Republican Party a long, long time ago,
been a big supporter of the uh, you know, Rand
Paul and the Thomas Massey's of the world. And I've
got my libertarian bet to me because it's interesting that
really not none of them can be trusted. And you know,
I've said this in regards to you know, Republicans right now,
(04:23):
and that that's quite frankly, that's really who Donald Trump
needs to be wary of. Be very very careful of
the rhinos within the party because they're not aligned with them.
And I was actually quite frank I was shocked, was shocked,
as I'm not a Lindsey Graham fan by any stretch
of the imagination. His him coming out after the bouncing
(04:47):
from the White House and actually supporting Donald Trump on this.
A lot of a lot of neocons, a lot of
neo khons are out there, you know, a gas at
what's going on again. You've got to be very very
very careful, very very careful pledging your allegiance to a
party because more often than not, all they stand for,
(05:08):
quite frankly, is power. Watchdog on Wall Street dot Com
