The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
The topics for being to news is the jobs picture
and is it bleak? What's going on here? ADP Job
seventy seven thousand. Then you're taking a look at the
layoffs and headline after a headline, Oh this is because
of Dosh. Yeah, yeah, what did you think was going

(00:36):
to happen? What did you think was going to happen?
And mark my words, Mark my words. You're going to
have story after story after story blaming all man this
job numbers because of Trump. Listen, Okay, these government jobs

(00:56):
have to be cut half to be cut. It's the end.
And I don't want to sound harsh, but yeah, I'm
gonna sound harsh. This is a cancer on our overall society.
It's a cancer on our country. All of these needless jobs,
people getting paid that we do not need the amount

(01:17):
of money that has been spent on them. And I
know who would you say that these are people losing
their jobs? Listen, people lose their jobs every day. I
didn't hear any left wing people out there upset when
they shut down the Keystone XL pipeline and laid off
ten thousand workers. I hear you left wingers upset when
Obama said he I'm shutting down call putting all those

(01:41):
miners out of business. They should get a job. Wrong,
they're in cold Oh yeah, they said all that. You
weren't You weren't too upset about that, But you're really
bet out of shape because these government jobs are being lost. Yeah,
they're going to have to adjust. You know, this is
this is a disaster quite frankly, that we've been basically growing, incubate,

(02:07):
cultivating for a long time, all of these nonsensical jobs,
with all of this money that we're spending on this stuff.
It has to end. It has to end. And yeah, yeah,
without a doubt, it's going to be painful. I know
I'm not cold hearted by any stretch of the imagination.
I've lost y'at. Everybody's experienced, probably in life, losing a job,

(02:29):
and it's not fun. It's not fun. And I know
a lot of these people were under the illusion that
I work for the government. I can I can never
get fired, No way, I wouldn't got Well, no, that's
not right. It's not the case that the type of
paradigm shifts the things that this administration is doing. Some

(02:53):
of these things, without a doubt, are going to be painful, painful,
yet necessary. Watchdog and Wall Street dot Com
