Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Jasmine Crockett spinning hot wheels. Yeah, she's trying to now
explain her way out of her latest comment basically calling
the governor of the state of Texas hot wheels. Governor
Abbott had injured himself when he was in his twenties,

(00:37):
and he has been a wheelchair his entire life. Why
is anybody surprised by this at all? I've done a
podcast or too on Jasmine Crockett in the past. Well,
she's playing to her audience, which is very very stupid people,

(01:01):
very very stupid people. Sorry, they are what they are.
You're listening to what she has say. She didn't say
anything that's the slightest bit intelligent. I've compared her to
almost like some sort of Tyler Perry character. It's like, again,
it's like some sort of Tyler Perry show. Not even

(01:21):
I don't even think it's at that level. I think
the closest politician I've seen to Jasmine Crockett is probably
President Camacho from Idiocracy. This is this is who you
throw out there. This is how one acts, and it's

(01:42):
occasion after occasion after occasion, acting like some sort of
retread from a Cardi B video. I mean, aren't you
in embarrassed? Aren't you at all embarrassed by? I feel
I feel bad. I feel bad for the black community

(02:03):
here in the United States having someone like this up there.
This is not a fair this is not a fair repute.
I mean, this is awful what she says and what
she does the lowest common that everything. I mean, at
the lowest thing. It's almost as like, you know, okay,
I'll use my I'll use my Italian side. Imagine having

(02:24):
someone like Paulie Walnuts from the Sopranos act and talk
like that on the on the floor of Congress or
making statements or whatever it may be. It's freaking embarrassing.
You're bringing, you're bringing the worst part of your culture
and you're putting it out there as something that is good.
I mean, what's wrong with you? Again? I mention this

(02:50):
to people before. I don't there's areas that there's no
go areas in the country or me, there is there's
just no go areas. I'm not going to go to
ever to someone's in a district somewhere where they would
vote for someone this dumb. I just wouldn't do it.

(03:15):
I mean I I could. I mean, it's how how
does how does this happen? How does someone I mean,
how do you vote for someone like this? This is
the you know, you take the hot wheels thing that
she's trying to spend she's lying about now yesterday what
is she grabbed a grabbed a camera from a reporter

(03:38):
and you know, scratch. I mean, the worst this is,
this is what you want to put out. I just
again shame on her and quite frankly, shame on the
people that voted for her. Watchtung on Wall Street dot com.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
