Democrats keep posting charts showing prices “skyrocketing under Trump”—except the charts conveniently show almost the entire surge happening during Biden’s presidency. Chris breaks down the numbers, call out the spin, and explain why Trump needs to stop pretending prices are falling and instead lay out a real plan to bring them down.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski, I.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Give you stupid donkey tricks. Yeah, the donkeys. The Democrats
keep putting out charts on social media. See see look
at the price of beef. Oh my god, look at
look at the price of this item. Oh my god,
look AT's going through the roof. It's drump Okay again,

(00:39):
Either the Democrats, it's wondered to either they are really
really dumb, or they just assume everybody who's following them,
their constituents are really really dumb. It's one of the other.
If you look at these charts and again, price of
beef is going like this, everything's going straight up. Almost

(01:01):
the entire chart happens to take place during the Biden administration.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Almost the entire chart. Is it going up during Trump
a little bit? Yeah, but the bulk of inflation happened
during the Biden administration, and they're putting it out just.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I guess, just assuming that people are just gonna look
at me Trump. Listen, prices are still going up. Tariffs
are not helping. And again, I hope the Supreme Court
strikes him down. It's the best thing that happens to Trump.
Trump's problem right now is he's frustrated with these higher prices.

(01:45):
He's obviously frustrated, and he keeps saying that things are
not going up, things are coming down. They're not coming down. Okay,
they're not nearly going up at the rate they were
when Biden was president. We understand that, okay, but stop
telling people. Stop telling people that you know it's raining

(02:07):
on them and they're getting all wet. You're saying, no,
it's not raining, it's sunny outside. No, that's not a strategy. Okay.
You want to turn, you want to point this and say, listen,
it's gonna take a while for us to work through.
But this is part of the problem. He promised. Okay,
and he says things it's him. Oh, it's gonna be
down on day one. Everything's gonna know, Okay, And I

(02:27):
get it. It's gonna take time to work through. But again,
you haven't helped matters. Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Is it nearly as bad as it was under Biden? No?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
No, But lay out a bunch of things that you're
gonna do to bring prices down. And don't come out
and tell everyone that farmers love tariffs. They hate them,
They hate them. Don't treat people like they're dumb. Don't
be like the donkeys. Okay, and put out a chart.
Ninety percent of the chart is under Biden, with price

(02:57):
is going up ten percent under Trump, and you blame
the whole thing on him. Don't be that way. Don't
don't treat your constituents like they're idiots. Watchdog on Wall
