Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey, good morning, John, Good morning everyone.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
It is a.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
Freedom Friday, Wisconsin gun deer opener. Good luck to everyone
who's going out, be safe. Let's get to it. Looking
forward to the show.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Oh hell yeah. We come to this place for magic,
to cry, to care.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
That is like psychopathists.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
We need that, all of us. That indescribable feeling We
get and we go somewhere we've never been before, but
somehow we've borne sound that I can feel.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Please me.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Somehow heartbreak feels good in a place like this. Our
heroes feel like the best part of us. Store people
feel perfect and powerful because here they are.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
Let's get started in.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
Energy, energy, energy, energy.
Speaker 6 (01:19):
Why you stuck up, half witted, scruffy looking not harder.
Speaker 7 (01:31):
If this were Republican members of Congress who were encouraging
members of the military and members of our United States
government to defy orders from the President and from the
chain of command, this entire room would be up in arms.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
But instead it is the other way around. And I
think that's quite telling. I just envisioned President Donald Trump
sitting in the White House yesterday.
Speaker 8 (01:52):
On his phone, his phone in one hand, a diet
coke sitting on the desk of the Oval Office, just
laughing as Democrats spiral out of control.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
He's said, he what's us executed? Yeah? I give you
details on this throughout the show this morning. It is
a Freedom Friday, Twin Cities News Talk Am eleven thirty
one oh three five FM from the sixty five to
one carpet plus next Day install Studios and what's called
a Trump derangement problem? Have you heard about that problem?
(02:27):
My name is John Justice. Got a great night's sleep
last night. Thank you many leaf in your night Gummies
in the booth next door. Sam is back for a
Freedom Friday and the Master Control Room cording Sam.
Speaker 9 (02:36):
Good Morning John.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Retired Air Force Brigadier General Blaine Holt told Newsmas that
Democrats trying to prompt military service personnel to ignore orders
from President Donald Trump amounts to treason, saying that the
attempt by a group of Democrats to advertise a military
(02:58):
push personnel should ignore unlawful orders. This terrible advice. This
is a sedition, said Holt. This is treason. He said,
this needs to immediately be stopped. And there's a warning
for the Trump administration. If you don't hold them accountable,
it's only going to get worse. We're in that Republican's
pounce phase of this controversy that just exploded. Over the
(03:21):
course of the past twenty four hours, we've been talking
about this audio of numerous Democrats trying to get in
between our military and the commander in chief in playing
this ridiculous, petty and cute little word game, in telling
members of our military and law enforcement to not follow
(03:42):
illegal orders of which there aren't to any Democrats say
something outrageous. Trump responds, and Democrats go, oh, look at
what Trump said. Look, oh he wants just executed. Oh
my gosh, I can't believe this. We'll talk about that
on the show this morning. Representative Max Reimer will being
us in studio just after the bottom of the hour.
(04:02):
Grace Keating from American Experiment right around seven o'clock. RNC
Committeeman Ak Kamara right around seven thirty this morning, and
in that seven o'clock hour, the other big news item
of the morning, millions of dollars stolen Minnesota welfare funds
fraudulently taken your taxpayer dollars allegedly diverted by members of
(04:24):
the state's Somali community to an overseas terrorist group. Linked
to al Qaeda called al Shabab. A certain counter terrorism
analyst who will remain unnamed is said that it's shocking
and yet not surprising. The administration of Tim Walls is
now under scrutiny after federal investigations revealed rampant fraud in
(04:47):
the state Department of Human Services program meant to help
struggling residents find taxpayer housing. According to The Daily Caller
and an article here from Newsmax, this all stemmed from
an investigative report from City Journal release yesterday. The alleged
to version occurred against the backdrop of what prosecutors have
described as one of the largest welfare fraud waves in
(05:08):
state history, and again, tax dollars allegedly funneled to a
terrorist organization overseas. I'm not going to mince words on
all of this. The Walls needs to resign. I posted
a video this morning and I hope other individuals will
join me in the call. Enough's enough. We can argue,
we can have a conversation and we'll talk about it.
(05:30):
On whether or not Governor Tim Walls actually ends up
being the nominee for Democrats in the race for governor
next year. I think there's a fifty to fifty chance
that he ends up bowing out, But how much more
can Governor Tim Walls endure? And right now, listen, what's
We're at the point now he just needs to resign.
You have the economic conditions here in the state, as
(05:53):
was laid out yesterday by the Minnesota's Chamber of Commerce,
which we covered on the show. Every single economic metric
the state is failing on every single one. The only
one where it's even remotely like balanced is when it
comes to immigration of people coming in to the state
of Minnesota from overseas, because we have record numbers of
(06:15):
individuals leaving. And as I posted in my video, you know,
these may be things that you would hash out via
an election. Even when it comes to the fraud two
billion to six billion dollars up in smoke, he's acknowledged this,
but he's also failed his own party. I don't agree
with any gun reform measures that they want to move
(06:36):
forward that Walls wants to move forward on, but he
has failed his own party. Stood at that Catholic church
in the wake of that horrific shooting and said he
would call for a special session, which never happened because
he's a coward. And now we have this, and think
about it for just a moment. We have a multi
billion dollar surplus here in Minnesota. That money is gone.
(07:00):
You get a paltry tiny bit back. That money's gone.
That money gets funneled to the programs created specifically under
total Democrat control, of which almost all of them now
have turned out to be fraudulent. Which means your taxpayer
dollars that the state took from you above and beyond
what they were supposed to wasn't given back to you,
(07:23):
was sent to these different social service programs, of which
some of that money has now gone to fund terrorist
organizations overseas. It's time for Governor Tim Walls to resign,
and I hope that you will join me in making
that call. We'll talk more about this throughout the show
this morning. We have an immigration update coming up. I
(07:44):
see your talkbacks are already rolling in to the iHeartRadio
app on a Freedom Friday, on and off topic comments
all morning long. The phone number is eight four four
nine four six five eight five to five. You can
email me justice at iHeartRadio dot com, or as I mentioned,
you can leave talk back on the iHeartRadio app. Those
are brought to you by Lyndahl Realty. We'll get to
those next. On Twin Cities News Talk AM eleven thirty
(08:07):
and one oh three five FM.
Speaker 10 (08:08):
Good Morning and I Love your show, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Me eleven thirty FM one O three point five and
on the Free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 11 (08:19):
Good Morning, John Mike for minnetaka Happy Freedom Friday. Fantastic
lead into the show. It's just not the same though,
without the AI overlords. Do us all a favor some
Friday that the Boss is on vacation. Just let it
go and we won't tell on you. Promise have a
great show, John.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
What we need to do. I was talking with Sam
about this. For those that missed it, they're just some
some concerns, we'll say, regarding the use of AI generated
music on the show, similar to the reason why we
don't play known bands as bumper music anymore. I don't
want to get into all the legal ramifications of it.
In the grand scheme of things. It's like, you know what,
(09:03):
it's a bummer. I can't play it. Not the end
of the world. And you know, I send people as
many people that request Ziemo Phiz that ask for it.
But what I need is I need somebody to do
basically a one to one recreation cover version of it.
Give you a free mention of your your band on
(09:24):
the UH on the air. That's what I need, and
then I could go and then I can go and
play it again and not worry about any of the
legal ramifications.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (09:31):
Absolutely So, if anybody out there is interested in recording
a song.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Email Sam email right Justice at iHeartRadio dot com. You
can email me. It's finny. I would do it myself,
but I mean, I have a decent singing voice, but
you know that just seems really self absorbed. Is that
the right word to use to sing my own theme song?
Speaker 9 (09:55):
I guess the question then becomes if you did do
actual voice recording, but then we used AI to like
help tune it, does that count? Like you know?
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Then it gets into this gray ar Now we're going
down our rabbit hole. Yeah, I think that's I think
that's okay, depending of using and I don't get me started,
I see, don't I know, don't get me started. I
just I need somebody to do a one to one
recreation of it as best as they can, and then
we can go back and play Zema Phizigan I've made
music before in the past, that's a but I to
(10:26):
do the instrumentation would be a little bit beyond my
beyond me. I use just existing patches and samples and
created stuff. And no, I'm not going to share any
of my own personal music with you. That's for my
own that's for my own edification. Twist Cities News Talk
Am eleven thirty one O three five FM from the
six five to one carpet Next Day Install Studios on
a Freedom Friday.
Speaker 12 (10:47):
Happy Freedom Friday, John.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Thanks.
Speaker 12 (10:49):
I've been so excited for this Freedom Friday because I've
been wanting to call and talk to you about the
Eddie Murphy documentary Being Eddie.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
I haven't watched yet.
Speaker 12 (10:58):
I have more belly laughses week and then I can handle.
We followed it up by watching Coming to America, and
last night we watched Trading Places.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Nice.
Speaker 12 (11:07):
I haven't laughed that much in a couple of years.
I highly recommend it.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Have you watched that yet?
Speaker 10 (11:12):
Sam? Oh?
Speaker 9 (11:12):
Yeah, absolutely, and it's it's fantastic. I mean, Eddie Murphy
still got it. I will say. The only thing I
took away, well not the only thing, but one of
the things I took away from the documentary, is it
left me want and so much more? It could have
been like twenty hours like the Last Dance you know,
where it was like ten two hour things.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Is it just one documentary or just one documentary? It's
I think around two hours long. It's great.
Speaker 9 (11:38):
I recommend it if you just need something to watch,
especially with the holiday weekend.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yeah, I'll check it out. Yeah, I'm I'll I'll put
it on my list.
Speaker 13 (11:46):
I know it would helped to get Walls to resign
is have the federal government demand Minnesota reimburse the federal
government for all the fraudulent funds they distributed.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Well with this new City Journal investigative report, which they
have multiple sources independent of each other that have confirmed
what I mentioned that through the Autism Center fraud, that
money has been going to fund terrorist organizations. Might call
this morning as I kicked the show off for Governor
Tim Walls to resign, I just I'm tired of this,
(12:23):
you know, sort of tinkering around the edges on this issue.
I think there's a fifty to fifty chance that with
all of this negativity surrounding him, and I'm probably gonna
spend more time on Monday show talking about this, but
with all of the negativity surrounding Walls, that he does
not become the nominee, and there is a Democrat if
they can find somebody suitable enough to replace him, that
ends up running instead. But you know what I'm just
(12:44):
jumping right to. He needs to resign, and I'm doing
this for a very specific reason.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
By the way, Morning John, Happy Friday.
Speaker 7 (12:52):
Where do I go sign up to make this demand
of Governor.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
Walls to resign?
Speaker 10 (12:57):
I'd love to see it.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
We need our in my view, what you need our
We need voices. We need as many voices out there
saying this calling for Governor Tim Walls to resign.
Speaker 6 (13:10):
Morton, John, just a point when you're talking about that
cloud Walls, you gotta remember too that Paul three two
hundred and sixty dollars we got back of all that tax.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Money that magically disappeared.
Speaker 10 (13:21):
He screwed it up so bad, dragged out, yet we
got to pay taxes on it took boo.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Yep, we absolutely did.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Good morning John, Dave Saint Louis part Well. The governor
is an habitual liar. Everything from stolen valor to you
name it. He will never resign and the Democrats care
more about staying in power than they do integrity. I
(13:49):
don't even know if they understand the concept of integrity.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
You're probably correct, But if enough people raise their voices
and call for him to resign, then at a minimum,
he ends up being questioned on what we'll be talking
about today on the show, because that's what I don't
(14:14):
want to see happen. Nobody else is covering this. Ralpha
News has the story. We'll give you some of their
details based off the City Journal report, but across all
of the news websites, there's no coverage of this. And
this should be headline news. This is not just some
random allegation of fraudulent dollars going to fund a terrorist organization. No,
(14:37):
these are three independent sources that have all said the
same thing, and we'll dive into the details next hour
when the rest of our Freedom Friday crew joins us.
And if enough people speak out calling for Governor Tim
Walls to resign, then he's going to have to address
what we'll be talking about on the show today. That's
what I want to see. That's why I'm gonna hammer
(14:58):
this home. That's why I went and posted videos already
this morning, and I hope that you will go and
join me in that call. All right, let's go here
really quick and immigration update. Max Raymer will be joining
us in just a moment. Remember kill Mara Brego Garcia
remembri him.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Hear that guy.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
The Trump administration is expected to present new evidence in
the human smuggling case against kill Maara Brigo Garcia, alleging
that he exchanged pornographic videos and images with the teenage girl.
That's right. A witness is expected to come forward who
claims that a Breago Garcia tried to recruit her to
join his smuggling operations and both solicited and set her
(15:43):
adult graphic messages. According to the court filing, the woman
was fifteen years old when the explicit messages were allegedly exchanged. Well,
a Breago Garcia was twenty five years old. It underscores
the fact that Democrats do not care again about these issues.
(16:04):
They don't care what his background was. Anybody using common
sense would have known that it probably was not a
good idea to go and back this individual who broke
the law, was involved in human trafficking. But for Democrats,
they saw a political opportunity. The same thing rings true
with his ICE ray that took place. Immediately, you had
activist organizations that were calling for vigils without even waiting
(16:27):
to find out what these individuals were targeted lawfully by ICE. Four.
The Department of Homeland Security came out yesterday and said
that Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents arrested fourteen people at
the bro Text business in Saint paul A. Dhspokespersons at
the ICE agents and other law enforcement partners executed a
search warrant at ro Text ro Texts. According to DHS,
(16:51):
fourteen people were all arrested on immigration violations, including one
person who DHS says has pass domestic abuse charges and
another who committed a felony by illegally re entering the US.
But those that see activists support funding possibilities, Democrats who
(17:12):
see the opportunity to spread their false narratives relating to ICE,
like you hear from Representatives Lee Finkey when he goes
and says that they're the Gestapo. And yet you have
Democrats getting up in arms because President Donald Trump dare
go and define what happens to an individual who commits
(17:33):
an act of sedition, which we'll talk about a little
bit later on in the hour as well. Max Reimer
making his way up on a Freedom Friday with your
on and off topic comments all morning long, mourned.
Speaker 14 (17:44):
John Russ here, I cannot believe that beautiful little sheet
of paper that came in the mail that property taxes
in Ramsey County are going up thirty four percent. Beautiful
go from three to four thousand dollars in property taxes.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
You gotta love that they want more money.
Speaker 14 (18:02):
And yet the fraud just keeps coming and coming and coming.
And it's like, what continuing to pay more taxes when
you can guys, just keep letting people use.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
More fraud and again, just more reasons for Governor Tim
Walls to resign. Representative Max Rymer knows a thing or
two about real estate property taxes and from Fox and nine,
a double whammy insurance is shock for Minnesota homeowners. Will
get his thoughts on that Trump threatened Slotkin and other
members of Congress with jail time over video to military
(18:34):
Seditious Democrats in Congress will break it all down on
Freedom Friday here on Twin Cities News Talk AM eleven
thirty and one oh three five FM AM one O
three point five and iHeartRadio station. It's a Freedom Friday
on Twin Cities news talk from the six y five
to one Carpet Next Day Install Studios. And that means
(18:55):
you're on and off topic comments all morning long. Jimmy
from Rural Minneso.
Speaker 9 (19:00):
Hear no offense, John, but we need more Catherine and Grace,
even though Catherine's for Hoa's.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I don't know what that means, Like, why would I
take offense to that? Unless you just want them on
this show, that's not going to happen. You have to
tell Max or Ak to take other to take other
days off. I took two weeks off so I can
bring them, so I can bring them both in. I'll
say that the you know, the salt and pepper of
conservative podcasting in Minnesota. I actually had this discussion with
(19:32):
them when I joined their one hundredth episode on the
American Experiment podcast, and they were fine alternating. I just
want to say that they were your morning routine, works
out morning routines and all of that. So I'm not
exactly sure what what Jim meant meant.
Speaker 10 (19:49):
Thing they want you to be replaced. Hi, Max, good morning,
long time. No see it's been a while I.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Hardly recognize you. It's been so long, it's been a while.
I'm glad to be back, though, but you couldn't have
picked a better morning.
Speaker 10 (20:01):
I was just gonna say, we got we got nothing
to talk about today.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Holy cow, dude. And again I'm calling I'm gonna hammer
this all morning long. I'm calling for Governor Tim Walls
to resign. We'll get to more of this in a second.
Let me sneak this Freedom Friday talk back in.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
All right, it's official.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Freedom Friday is my favorite part of Friday. Not the
fact that it's Friday, okay, Not the fact that it's
the weekend almost okay.
Speaker 15 (20:26):
Not the fact that I.
Speaker 14 (20:27):
Only work a half day.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Okay, it's a radio show.
Speaker 16 (20:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Not the fact that he's going to pick up dry
cleaning right now. Thank you for that. That's awesome. That
made my praise. In the wake of what we'll talk
about in more detail next hour, the City Journal report,
and we're going to run through it. This is jarring.
Multiple conference, you know, multiple sources confirming the same thing.
And we knew this all along. It was out Max.
(20:57):
I don't remember how many years ago it was, but
there was that investigative report in and I was just
going to bring that up. It was it was either
it was either caroleven nine or it was Channel five.
I don't remember which one.
Speaker 10 (21:08):
I could be wrong, but I even think like the
Minnesota Reformer had had a story.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
I remember distinct a lot of people covered this.
Speaker 10 (21:14):
I remember distinctly reading a story about why autism rates
in the Somali community are so high, but it was
treated as a real health concern.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Well, and I'm referring to the story of the suitcases
filled with cash, Yes that were lead. So yes, staycare fraud.
So so that's right, the daycare fraud. Thank you. So
we'd heard about this before. This is just taking it
to a whole other level. And I was driving in
this morning, you know, thinking about the show after prepping,
and I'm just like, I'm done. He needs to resign.
(21:47):
He needs to resign. In a sane, rational world, a
governor with this much baggage hanging around the neck of
the administration that he has been a part of and
leading would have stepped down. And yesterday was just added
to the list. And it was one of the more egregious.
(22:08):
When you break it down, man, it is bad. He
needs to resign. And I say this not that I
expect him to, but I do believe that if enough
people raise their voices and say the same thing at
a bare minimum, he'll need to address it. And address
the report from City Journal, which we'll dive into next
hours again. Representative Max Rymer joints us in studio.
Speaker 10 (22:29):
I think fraud alone, And I've had a lot of
constituent meetings lately with people who don't necessarily agree with
me on everything, and I've repeated myself over and over again,
John that no matter what's happening on the national stage,
no matter how you feel about Trump, no matter how
you feel about the state of our politics, that voting Republican,
(22:50):
getting Republicans into power at this point is a practical consideration.
It's not a political one. It's like, you can vote
for Democrats and the other election. But our government led
by Tim Walls is bad. It's corrupt, it's incompetent, and
we're talking about scratching the surface of two billion dollars
(23:13):
a fraud. And then this autism story comes out and
it's like, wow, we we are literally a grift for
the most corrupt people on earth. That's who we attract,
because that's how incompetent Tim Walls and our government has become.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
If Walls were to resign, that would mean Peggy flanagain
would now become governor. And that brings up the question
was she going to even run with Walls? I thought
they had a little falling out.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Well there's no expectation then no, Yeah, she's running out.
Speaker 10 (23:46):
He'll find some random other empty suit to run it
for lieutenant governor this time.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
And at this point, listen, beyond my desire, you know,
for calls to grow for him to resign, I think
that there's a fifty to fifty chance that he doesn't
end up being the nominee heading into two next year.
I mean, if we're sitting here November twenty first, this
information comes out, we're not even fully engaged yet, as
we're you know, coming up on the holiday season into
(24:11):
the governor's race. Who knows what else is going to
come out, And already there's just a litany of things
to point to, I mean, of him just not even
being the nominee. That Minnesota Chamber of Commerce report that
we broke down yesterday between twenty nineteen and twenty four,
I just I mean you want to talk about horrible
you know. In other words, I can't say at radio.
I had to hold back.
Speaker 10 (24:30):
So we're we're a state right now economically, government, competence wise,
just general vibe of Minnesota.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
We are a state being a being on.
Speaker 10 (24:42):
Its deathbed actually doesn't seem to go far enough like
we are, we are in life support, we are in
a coma. This is the policies that have been wrought
by Democrats and Tim Walls specifically have put us in
a position where we are not a state that is
attractive to anyone.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Now we know why he bought that morgue for way
too much money during COVID because it wasn't COVID bodies
that were going to be put in there. It was
you and me. It was all the taxpayers now are
going to be placed inside of the former what would
have been COVID more.
Speaker 10 (25:18):
And I know the Talkbacker brought up, like the political
implications of Tim Walls resigning, but I think John, what
you're bringing up is, actually this goes beyond the political considerations.
Since Peggy Flanagan interim governor for a little while, Yeah sure, yeah, sure,
but go for it, but it has more to do
with what Tim Walls has done than it does.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
What is the political outcome of this?
Speaker 10 (25:42):
You just objectively had done such a poor job as
governor and brought such disgrace to our state that you
deserve to resign if you were if you were in Europe,
where leaders resign all the time. It's just like a
rotating thing that happens in a vacuum. Tim Walls would
have resigned a lot.
Speaker 17 (25:58):
Oh yeah, absolutely, I'm more interested in where's Pam Bondy
thed OJ, the FBI and the federal government if we're
funding terrors, great show.
Speaker 11 (26:13):
Jen.
Speaker 10 (26:14):
I'll just say, this is not you saying this is
me saying this. Where's Pam Bondy on anything?
Speaker 2 (26:22):
I'm sorry?
Speaker 10 (26:23):
Like for me, she has been such if there's been
any point of disappointment in this administration, it has been her.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
When it comes to and I agree with Scott and
what he said. At the same time, this reporting still
came out. Government moves at a snail's pace. I echo
your sentiments as well. I'm not exactly thrilled with the
job that Pam Bondy has done, but at the moment,
with this City Journal report, I would hope that there
are behind the scenes actions taking place and investigations you know, ongoing.
(26:52):
But again, the government moves at a snails pace, so
I'm not surprised that we haven't heard anything regarding regarding
this yet, as the City Journal report just came out yesterday.
Speaker 16 (27:02):
Good morning, John, Happy Friday, travissoft Rappings. My question the
Governor Wallace would be, are you aware of how many
innocent folks on the other side of the world have
already been maimed?
Speaker 5 (27:18):
Killed?
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Yeah, hurt.
Speaker 16 (27:20):
It's because of all the fraudulent money that was sent there.
Speaker 15 (27:24):
Hey, good morning John.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Hey, to whom do we raise our voice to?
Speaker 15 (27:29):
Because you got the radio and it's easy for you,
But for all of us normal people, how do we
raise our voice? And to whom let's feel like democrats
and just flood their platforms, stand out and protest in
the cold.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
I guess now, listen, you just did. I mean, I
know you're lending your voice to this show via the talkbacks.
I'm from the iHeartRadio app brought to you by Lindahl Realty.
But if you're on a social media platform, use it,
post it, You're right, comment on other elected officials comments,
and repeat the calls. That's why I started the show
(28:05):
off this morning, because if enough voices are raised asking
for Governor Tim Walls to resign, even if the expectation
is that he's not going to, then at least at
a bare minimum, this provides the opportunity for news outlets
to cover Hey, there's a growing call of individuals in
Minnesota in the wake of this news because right now,
none of them are covering what the City Journal reported yesterday.
(28:28):
This should be headline stories across the board, and none
of the local media outlets apart from your Alpha News,
are covering this currently. So this is why I know,
this is why I kicked off the show, and why
I'm asking people to join me in calling for Governor
Tim Walls to resign. Let's go here. I want to
talk to you a bit about this, and this is
in your expertise. We will get to Congress and calls
(28:50):
to execute members of Congress which didn't really happen. Story
out of Fox nine this morning, Max. Many Minnesota homeowners
are experiencing a double whammy with their insurance bills, as
both premiums and deductibles for wind and hail damage are
on the rise. Homeowners are seeing their insurance premiums increase
as much as forty percent, the deductibles are going up.
(29:12):
The rising costs are largely attributed to changing weather patterns
and increase claims, according to an individual from the Minnesota
Department of Commerce. And you know at Max, I know
this is part of your expertise with John Galt Realty
right in getting that mortgage company. Mortgage company, sorry, mortgage company.
Feel free to comment on the insurance. But what I
(29:32):
really wanted was you to just take a few minutes.
I know you posted online about this, but we've been
talking about the property taxes all week, one billion dollars.
We've been covering the different reasons why. But I wanted
to get your, you know, your quick assessment on what
people are looking at next year with the increase in
property taxes, and what your thoughts are.
Speaker 10 (29:51):
Yeah, so I'll start with the property taxes because I
did post a video on X. You can go and
look at it Max our Rhymer on X and see
what I said about it. But property taxes go up
based on what your local government decides, or there's a referendum,
or maybe a school district goes out for bond and
they decide that they're going to raise property taxes to
fund a certain initiative. That's the way that property taxes
(30:13):
have been done for a long time, and they've gone
up and up and up. But the hidden layer, the
problem that we don't talk about with property taxes is
what the DFL Trifecta did and the DFL trifect did.
They passed down a bunch of mandates to schools, to counties,
to cities, not the least of which is paid family
and medical leave, earn sick and saved time unemployment insurance
(30:35):
for hourly school workers. But the funding, because we ran
a six billion dollar deficit, keep in mind over two
billion of that went to fraud, the funding for those
mandates got cut, but the mandates themselves did not get cut.
So the counties and the cities and the school districts
are left to pick up a tab for something they
(30:55):
never got to negotiate. So that's why you're seeing this year,
I think it was a billion dollars or more of
new property taxes. It's going to represent a seven percent
increase across the state in property taxes. But rural counties
where I live in Chicago County, they are going to
get hit much harder than that. And what you just
(31:16):
have to keep in mind is it's not just your
city's fault. It's not just your mayor's fault, it's not
just your school board's fault. It's actually the fault of DFL,
members of the legislature and the governor because they passed
a bunch of well to do well meaning mandates down
to your cities and counties, but we're not funding them
(31:38):
because we have a huge deficit. And then when we
talk about insurance, going back to that first story, you know,
there's a lot of problems there, right, Like just it's
the same kind of fundamental problem with health insurance where
you have some people who are.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Abusing the system.
Speaker 10 (31:57):
And when you look at like roof claims and other claims,
these door knocking companies, right they go door to door,
they say that they think you have roof damage, they
go through the assessment, an adjuster comes out. Those situations
have increased pretty dramatically where people are getting things replaced
on their home that probably don't need to be replaced,
(32:18):
and so therefore, when you increase the cost of that,
you're increasing the cost for everybody else in the pool
of insurance. Right now, and it just again speaks to
this nature of grifting and fraud and corruption. And by
the way, we might find John down the road here,
I don't be shocked when we find that there's some
fraudulent program that's taking advantage of homeowner's insurance right now too.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Well, at this point in time, it's appropriate to question
which program isn't frauduling.
Speaker 10 (32:48):
I think it's a safe assumption to say all programs,
the majority of the money of all programs, are going
towards fraud.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
I've got a story here from Caro Leven. On top
of we have a new feeding our future defendant more
than a one hundred dollars in fraud proceeds. What's the
name of that defendant, That would be Ousman Camara c
A M A R A. I just wanted to distinguish
that from Ak Kamar he does with.
Speaker 10 (33:13):
That's that's Ak's alternate ego here.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
But I have another story and we'll talk about from
Cara Leven. Unattended death raises new fraud allegations in Minnesota's
medicaid funded ICs program. Which program is not fraudulent at
this point in time? Yeah, all right, let's go here.
Speaker 18 (33:33):
Rosemo Happy Friday. I got a question for Max Reimer,
is that can he tell me what this paid family
medical family leave is going to cost each employee. I've
been on the phone with my hr HR for my
company for the last two days and no one can
(33:54):
give me an answer as to how much it's going
to cost me, whether it's percentage wise or dollar wise,
every week out of my check.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
And you're gonna need a calculator based off of how
much your business is going to be absorbing and how
much you're going to be absorbing, and then that's based
off of how much money you end up making, right, Yeah.
Speaker 10 (34:09):
Yeah, it's going to be a new line item similar
to Social Security.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Right, So.
Speaker 10 (34:14):
It's gonna be a new line item in your paycheck.
And I believe the number is half a percent, half
a percent, half a percent will be paid by the employee.
I think it's like up to zero point five percent
or something close to there. So you'll see a new
line item on your on your paycheck of money being
taken out for money that you may never use or
(34:36):
take advantage of, but somebody certainly will.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
John.
Speaker 19 (34:42):
When you say Sultan Pepper, are you referring to the
eighties and nineties rap groups Sultan Pepper. You're pronouncing it wrong,
just like you did with Ace Freely, just like you
do with CATANGI, Jackson Brown, We've got to whip you
into shape, man, Okay.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
When it comes to CONTINGI Jackson Brown Tintaji, right, I
just I think he's because I because I swapped the
brown Jackson to Jackson Brown, the singer. Oh okay, okay,
Ace Freely. You gotta give me a little bit of
leeway on because everybody calls him Ace freely, And he's
even acknowledged that everybody calls him Ace freely, even though
it's technically freely. Oh okay, okay. And when it comes
(35:23):
to Salt and Pepper, I specifically it's a freedom Friday,
So I can do this. I was mentally referring to
the eighties rap group Salt and Pepper, but I also
know that most people may not get that reference. So
I just did Salt and Pepper since their Salt and
Pepper was deriving from the original Salt and pepper.
Speaker 12 (35:44):
You know.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
And I'll just go ahead, and.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
You're fascinating to talk.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
That's for the talk.
Speaker 10 (35:48):
I can make a number of it. I can make
a number of inappropriate jokes right now.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Yeah, well, thank you, thank you. I won't thank you.
Speaker 18 (35:53):
For doing John, be careful what you wish for, because
Peggy flat again will be ten times worse than Wallsey.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Oh yeah, of course you will. And I don't care.
I think we're saying we don't care. Yeah, Walls is
bad already. Let Peggy finding him become the governor, like
it's gonna get any word your your tax dollars are
funding terrorism overseas? How does it get much worse than that?
You have the government forcing you to take money out
of your paycheck to pay for somebody else's twenty weeks
(36:22):
of paid to time off. Yes, point forty four percent,
by the way, is is that what it is? That's
the amount. So depending on how much money you make,
point forty four percent of that is going to go.
And if you don't take that time off, then it
just goes to somebody else again on makes my store,
on top of rising insurance costs, on top of.
Speaker 10 (36:42):
What we talked about earlier with property taxes, on top
of Social Security, on top of federal taxes like point
five percent. Listen, that might not seem like a lot,
but your employer is also paying point five percent. You're
paying point five percent into a fund that you may
never use on top of all the other rising costs
that you have in your life.
Speaker 2 (37:02):
This is not sustainable.
Speaker 10 (37:03):
This is why when the Minnesota Chamber sends out this
report that says, we are losing people, we are losing capital,
we are losing producers.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
In this state. This is just another reason why our
two on a Freedom Friday coming up in just a
moment here on Twin City's News Talk, Representative Max Reimer,
already against studio Grace Keating from an American experiment, will be
joining us again. I hope you will join me in
calling for Governor Tim Walls to resign and wake up
the news that we'll be covering this hour. Next seditious
(37:34):
democrats in Congress. We'll dive into it here on Twin
City's News Talk AM eleven thirty and one oh three
five FM. The what's called a Trump derangement problem? Have
you heard about that problem
