Speaker 1 (00:00):
In a brazen scheme. Get the very lengths who we're
trying to kill people in our country to individuals and
clear distress killed by the United.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
States Energy energy.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
True, this creates danger. And I'll tell you what, in
my time on this, I'd never seen this before. People
driving my house by my house and using the R
word in front of people.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
This is a shame.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
And I have yet to see an elected official, a
Republican elected official, say you're right, that's shameful. He should
not say it. So look, I'm worried. We know how
these things go. They start with taunts, they turn to violence.
So deeply concerned.
Speaker 5 (00:49):
Every time I see people that disagree with anything that's happening,
any gigantic world events, it's one of these retarded shows
where they're a screement. Is the word again brought it?
We're just talking about the word retarded is back. And
it's one of the great culture victories that I think
is spurred on probably by podcast.
Speaker 6 (01:10):
But we come to this place for magic, oh hell yeah,
to cry, to care because we need that, all of us,
that indescribable feeling we get and we go somewhere we've
never been before, not just entertained, but somehow were born
(01:35):
together sound that I can feel somehow heartbreak feels good
in a place like this. Our Euros feel like the
best part of us, and stories feel perfect and powerful
that because here.
Speaker 7 (01:54):
They are.
Speaker 8 (01:55):
Let's get a stided in here.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Swappy looking. It is.
Speaker 9 (02:14):
A freedom Friday, Twin Cities News Talk. Hey, I'm eleven
thirty one O three five FM.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Looks like we made it.
Speaker 9 (02:26):
Twin Cities News Talk from the six five to one
carpet Plus. Next day he installs studios.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
They call me John Justice. That's my name. In the
booth next door, Sam, Good morning, Good morning John. How
are we doing.
Speaker 10 (02:41):
All right?
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah, I'm good. I've had If you had a morning already, I.
Speaker 11 (02:44):
Had a morning already. And I owe you a public apology,
by the way, Oh why.
Speaker 9 (02:48):
Do you owe me an apology? And I like starting
the show off this way.
Speaker 11 (02:51):
On Monday, I was making fun of you for wearing
snow shoes in the studio, and that was pretty early
in the show. The rest of that show, I realized
how cold it is in this control room.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
And then Tuesday I had to sit.
Speaker 11 (03:03):
In the control room and be cold all morning, and
it's freezing in here right now, so public apology. You
were right about the snowshoes. Yeah, dude, it's sad. It's sad,
and you can't. You can't mess around. You simply cannot
cannot mess around.
Speaker 9 (03:17):
I don't know how I survived without my wife, to
be honest with you, It's so funny because like prior
to meeting Melinda, like now, like I take water wherever
I go. Now, granted, I was living in the in
the you know, in the Southwest for a long long time,
and it's just reverse weather there. It's stupid hot rather
than stupid cold. But I remember like driving from Tucson, Arizona,
(03:39):
to southern California to see my family, like in the
middle of the summer, and I wouldn't bring any water
with it.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
I just wouldn't even bother. It didn't even come into
my mind.
Speaker 9 (03:46):
I just figured, I know, I mean, I didn't even
think about it really. At some point I'd stop and
get fast food, I'd get something to drink.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
I didn't even consider it. And now I bring it everywhere.
Speaker 9 (03:55):
And so now I take and apply those same types
of rules when iver, let me sure I have water,
make sure that if the temperatures are really egregious outside.
I'm prepared for the weather and usually depending on how
cold it is, if we get down to like minus ten,
I'll go beyond the snow shoes and I'll go right
to the snow pants for crime out.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
I'm not even gonna moster.
Speaker 11 (04:15):
I'm not gonna I'm not gonna knock it anymore.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Well, good, well, good, well, good for good for you.
Speaker 9 (04:20):
On the show today, we do have a guest joining
us in studio. Representative Walter Hudson will be joining us.
We had a lot to talk about with Walter. We
have a budget forecast, they're not great released yesterday. We're
gonna get into the fraud from his perspective. We will
be diving into the paid family medical leave, which you
(04:40):
are absolutely interested in.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
And I guess I hadn't really thought about this as yet.
Speaker 9 (04:45):
But next to fraud, the paid family medical leave is
going to be one of the biggest stories moving forward
because it impacts everybody.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
There's no escaping it.
Speaker 9 (04:54):
If you are a working taxpayer here in Minnesota, this
is going to be an issue for you.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
So Walter Hudson will be joining us.
Speaker 9 (05:03):
Catherine Johnson from American Experiment, American Experiment podcast will be here.
Ak Kamara should be with the show about midway through
this morning as well. We have a lot of clips
from Governor Tim Walls. You heard the one that I
played there at the top, and we'll get into this
later on. He was complaining about people driving by his
house shouting the shouting the our word.
Speaker 10 (05:26):
John Tom from Hudson say, I just heard your intro
and Walt's complaining about the our word being spoken outside
his house. And have we asked him what word he's
really referring to. He might be referring to Republican people
running by his house. Republican have a great show.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
I think we know.
Speaker 12 (05:47):
Hey, John Brandon kind of drove so little. Timmy is
crying about being called the R word because I won't
say it on your show, but he can call Donald
Trump all all sorts of stuff over the last what
two years? What a clown. Well, I absolutely wait for this
(06:08):
guy to be gone. Absolutely have a good day.
Speaker 9 (06:12):
He is cracking under the pressure. I was talking over
the talkback. It's pretty funny. He is cracking under the pressure,
but he got no sympathy. Yesterday. That clip's gone viral.
It's on my feet if you want to see it
for yourself. We have more audio from that press conference,
as I mentioned, but he got no sympathy ratio so
(06:33):
bad on that. The last person that I could ever
complain about being called names is Walls.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
You'd be the first question that I would ask him
if he dared to come on this show.
Speaker 9 (06:41):
It's like, I know you're upset that President Donald Trump
called your retarded, and you are saying that people are
driving I don't know how that's possible, by the way.
I mean, they have bull horns when they're driving by
the governor's mansion and they're yelling the word out. I'm
not exactly sure. So you know it's up to you
whether or not you believe Walls. Typically, if he's speaking,
if his are moving, he's he's lying. But the last
(07:02):
person that can ever complain about being called names is him.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
And that's what but I would ask him.
Speaker 9 (07:06):
I say, look, dude, how many different things can I
mention of ways in which you have expressed glee over
Tesla stock dropping or talking about Trump and fat ankles
doing nothing with my fingers? How many times you called
him a fascist and a Nazi. We'll play the clips
later on today he has no room to speak, and
(07:28):
he stands up there and acts like he's outraged because
people might be repeating that word again. Nobody's buying it.
He can't answer questions from the media. We have audio
evidence of this one one individual. It looks like the
press corps, the Capitol Press Corps here has you know.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Turned on him.
Speaker 9 (07:48):
And I say turned on a meaning they're actually asking
him their relevant, difficult, difficult questions. So we'll get into it.
I'm getting way, way way ahead of myself. It is
a freedom Friday. We will take your on and off
topic comments all morning long. We'llnd and I were watching
a gingerbread house baking competition show on HBO Max this week.
I have a question that I need answered because Mollen
(08:10):
and I couldn't come to a conclusion. We had differences
of opinions, and so I'm curious what everybody else thinks.
I'll share that with you. Coming up in just a moment,
we'll take your on and off topic comments from the
iHeartRadio at the talkback's brought to you by Lyndahl Real Team.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
We'll dive into the relevant.
Speaker 9 (08:26):
News from overnight, including big Red state win, massive Supreme
Court victory regarding redistricting. I'll have details on that next
as we embark on our Freedom Friday exposition. You can
email me Justice at iHeartRadio dot com and we'll get
to your comments and emails coming up on Twinsday's news
Talk AM eleven thirty and one oh three five FM.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
The what's called a Trump derangement problem?
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Have you heard about that problem? I'm ready to get beat. Wait,
snow shoes or snow boots. Snow shoes looked like tennis rackets.
Speaker 13 (09:08):
If John was wearing those in the studio, you should
be cute, ridiculed.
Speaker 9 (09:14):
I have a great day, all right, Well what do
you think? What do you think I'm wearing? Come on,
use your head. That's their boots. Wearing snow shoes are
continuity director is hard at work this morning. How can
I drive you yet? Seriously, how could I drive my
car if I was wearing this?
Speaker 1 (09:35):
It be impossible.
Speaker 14 (09:37):
Good morning, John, and happy Freedom Friday. I got my
iHeartRadio recap.
Speaker 7 (09:43):
You are my number one preset nice and it tells
me I listened to you for thirty thousand, six hundred
and seven minutes this year.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Holy cal Well, thanks for all you do and have
a great weekend.
Speaker 9 (09:56):
That's more than I listened to depeche Mode all year.
I did the recap on my Apple phone, and it
sucks because it's all of us in the house, so
I can't get a really good.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Look at just me. There may be a way to
parse it out. I'm not sure.
Speaker 9 (10:13):
Depeche Mode was number one, and that was at about
seven thousand hours. I think.
Speaker 11 (10:19):
Is it safe to say that Melinda and the boys
aren't listening to the depeche Mode as much as you are?
Speaker 6 (10:24):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (10:24):
One percent?
Speaker 11 (10:25):
So one hundred percent. I'm sure that's all you. I
think those Oh yeah, that's accurate.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
That's all me. No, no, no, absolutely.
Speaker 9 (10:31):
Sleep Token came in at two, and that was at
like sixty six hundred views. But that's a combination of
of me and Kyle and I just found out about
them like four or five months.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Ago, so I can't really I can't really contribute that.
Speaker 9 (10:45):
So thirty thousand, six hundred hours, that's a lot.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Good morning, John, I'm happy Freedom Friday.
Speaker 13 (10:53):
This is Dave.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
I never ever missed your shows.
Speaker 15 (10:56):
Tomorrow morning, I'm flying out to the beautiful, rich mountains
of North Carolina.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
Turn thanks to the iHeart radio app. I will not
miss the show out there. You're knocking now the park.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Brother love this. Everybody's promoting the app. I don't even
have to. That's fantastic.
Speaker 9 (11:16):
We'll talk more about walls and people shouting the R
word outside of his home.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
It is a freedom Friday.
Speaker 9 (11:21):
I want to sneak in a couple of your comments
from the iHeartRadio app as we continue the show here
on Plain City's News Talk from the six five to
one carpet Next Day Install Studios.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Good morning, John Sam.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Maybe the R word they're going by shouting is resigned.
Speaker 9 (11:34):
Oh okay, maybe it's not. Maybe it's not the word retarded.
Maybe it is resigned. That's the case. I'm still pretty
sure it's the R word, although based off of what
Wall said, I mean that could be equally dangerous, right.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
True, This creates danger.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
And I'll tell you what, in my time on this,
i'd never seen this before. People driving mypouse by my
house and using the R word in front of people.
This is shameful. And I have yet to see an
elected official, a Republican elected official, say you're right, that's shameful.
He should not say it. So look, I'm worried. We
know how these things go. When I start with taunts,
they turned to violence.
Speaker 9 (12:10):
Give me, give me a break, Give me a break,
mister Gestapo, Give me a break, mister fascist Nazi. That
is not going well for anybody right now, or for
him and John.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
Happy freedom Friday.
Speaker 13 (12:25):
Are we sure that our word that was being yelled
outside of Walls's house wasn't repatriation?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (12:32):
I think that might have been it repatriation. Everybody learn it,
live it, love it.
Speaker 9 (12:39):
I wouldn't drive by his house and scream the our word,
but I would drive by his house and scream fraud,
you fraud. I mentioned this online yesterday. It would really
be a shame if people did start driving past Governor
Tim Wallas's house or yelling or yelling that word and
(13:02):
then you know, videotaping and putting it on social media.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
People should not do that.
Speaker 9 (13:08):
You should absolutely not drive past the governor's mansion and
record yourself yelling out the R word any of them
and put it on social media. That would be That
would be a horrible thing to do, and you shouldn't.
You shouldn't do it.
Speaker 16 (13:24):
Oh, please, people, Timmy Walls is not sitting at home
with his windows open and joining the evening breeze, and
people are driving by the house calling him names. Come on,
give me a break. His house is sound proved, and
he doesn't hear anything when he's inside. He's probably sleeping
in the basement.
Speaker 9 (13:44):
Well, and it's weird the way that he said it, Duke,
he said, people outside are saying the R word. Well again,
I don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves here.
The Supreme Court did rule yesterday that Texas could forge
ahead with its newly redrawn congressional map ahead of the
twenty twenty six mid term elections. This should give Republicans
a five seat advantage.
Speaker 14 (14:05):
Oh hell yeah.
Speaker 9 (14:06):
The initial order was unsigned, but it did declare the
lower court's decision to block the map, which favors Republicans,
had been made in era error. Justice Alito will argue
that the lower course determination that the Republican drawn map
was based on race rather than politics, was made in error.
He wrote that it was indisputable that the impetus for
(14:27):
the adoption of the Texas map, like the map subsequently
adopted in California, was partisan advantage, pure and simple, and
that being the case, the state should be permitted to
move forward with that map. Thomas and Gorshitz agreed. Now
it remains to be seen exactly what this means for
redistricting in the future, but it is safe to say
that similar redistricting efforts by Republicans could move forward free
(14:53):
of the racial makeup arguments regarding the district. So this
is really really fantastic news heading into next year. All right,
we'll get to more of your talkbacks coming up. Attorney
General Pam Bondi confirms the arrest of the d C
pipe bomb suspect. We'll give you details on that individual.
(15:14):
He's on the left, by the way, but he wanted
to sow chaos. He targeted both the r NC and
d NC buildings in DC on January sixth, so it's
clear that he just wanted to cause as much chaos
as possible. Sixty five to one, Nope, eight four four
nine four six fifty eight fifty five. That's the phone number.
(15:34):
Justice at iHeartRadio is the email. And again we'll get
to those talkbacks coming up in just a moment. On
Twin Cities News Talk Am eleven thirty and one oh
three five FM.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Good morning, and I love your show.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
One O three point five and iHeart radio station.
Speaker 11 (15:50):
Tom.
Speaker 15 (15:50):
This is Matt from Bay. I saw what you did
there before the break. You said here before we embark
on the next big plug there for your book, your books. Hey,
thanks on the show.
Speaker 9 (16:08):
Wasn't intentional, by the way, but I'm glad you picked
up on it. Twin Cities News talk on a Freedom
Friday from the six five to one Carpet plus Next
Day Install Studios. Freedom Friday means you're on and off
topic comments all morning long. We'll get to the arrest
of the DC January sixth pipe bomb suspect here in
(16:29):
just a moment.
Speaker 17 (16:30):
Hey, John, Really excited to hear from your publisher about
your new series of books coming out. Franklin rides the
Morning Son, Franklin enjoys his versus Zeema Fizz. Franklin goes
to Costco his sacred crownd Franklin sees Neon shadows on
the wall. Really excited. Let me know when pre orders
(16:50):
are up.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
That makes me miss Zima Fizz. It really does.
Speaker 9 (16:55):
We have our first foe of the show, talkback of
the morning, and it's so incredibly typical.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Of those on the left.
Speaker 15 (17:07):
Oh God, John Justice listens to sleep token time to
stop listen to them.
Speaker 9 (17:13):
So I know this is a pot of the show
because I recognize their email address and in the gravity
voice like he's leaving it from inside of his mother's basement.
It's comical, though, So just because I happen to listen
to and enjoy a band that this individual might like
or might be popular among Democrats, suddenly he has to
(17:34):
go and stop listening to them.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Make it make sense?
Speaker 6 (17:41):
Hey, good morning, John.
Speaker 16 (17:42):
Where do I find that recap on how many minutes
I've listened to your So?
Speaker 12 (17:46):
I mean I can do the math because it would
be one hundred and eighty minutes a.
Speaker 13 (17:50):
Day times five days a week times fifty two weeks.
Speaker 12 (17:54):
I think we're sought to forty six eight hundred minutes.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
But anyway, i'd be curious.
Speaker 6 (17:58):
To know where that.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
I think you figured it out. Statistic is talk to
you later.
Speaker 9 (18:02):
First off, it's in my contract that math would not
be involved in my show on a daily basis.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
I'm not sure where you can find it.
Speaker 9 (18:08):
I know for my phone when I go in like
on the iHeartRadio app. I don't know where you wouldn't
go And look, I'm assuming the iHeartRadio app like most
other platforms, has a yearly recap in it. I'm just
not sure where it is. Like in my Apple Music
on my iPhone, when you open it up to the mainscreen,
he says, replay, so you can go in there and
look at everything that you've listened to throughout the year.
(18:31):
Like I mentioned, though, it's a little bit confusing on
my end with the family because we all share the
same Apple ID, so it's all combined there. So hopefully
I put you, I put you in the right direction.
US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced yesterday that agents had
arrested a Virginia man in connection with the placement of
(18:52):
two pipe bombs outside the Democrat and Republican National Committee
offices that took place on January fifth, ahead of January sixth. Obviously,
the suspect, Ryan Cole Junior, lived in Woodbridge, Virginia. Prosecutors
identified Cole by tracing purchases of component parts made in
twenty nineteen and twenty twenty. Calls to relatives of coal
(19:13):
listed in public records were not immediately returned on Thursday.
According to the AP, here's a bit of Attorney General
Pam Bondi making the announcement yesterday.
Speaker 18 (19:23):
This cold case languished for four years until Director Patel
and Deputy Director Bongino came to the FBI. The FBI,
along with US Attorney Piro and all of our prosecutors,
have worked tirelessly four months sifting through evidence that had
(19:47):
been sitting at the FBI with the Biden administration.
Speaker 14 (19:51):
For four long years.
Speaker 18 (19:54):
Let me be clear, there was no new tip, there
was no new witness, just good, diligent police work and
prosecutorial work.
Speaker 9 (20:05):
The alleged pipe bomber's family had sued the Trump DHS
over illegal immigration. They asked Biden's DOJ to address racism
as well. Brian Cole Junior worked for a Bail Bonds,
a company run by his father that worked to free
illegal immigrants from ICE facilities, and again had sued Trump
(20:27):
in the Department of Homeland Security. So weeks before the
thirty year old Cole Junior allegedly planted pipe bombs at
the headquarters of both the Democrat and Republican parties. On
January fifth of twenty twenty one, the court ruled against
the company in its lawsuit attacking Trump administration on immigration issues.
Now later in twenty twenty one, the company held a
(20:48):
press conference bemoaning anti black racism with the left wing
attorney Cole Senior and Benjamin Crump. You know that name
represents the family of who represent the family of Trayvon
Martin attempted to stick the Biden Department of Justice and
the local Tennessee prosecutor who raised questions about the bail
bond company. Cole Junior and his father worked as bail
(21:10):
bondsman under various company names, including Free U Bonds, initially
in Fairfast County, Virginia. Public records suggests the father moved
to Knoxville, Tennessee, around twenty seventeen. One of the corporate
names was Statewide Bonding, Incorporated, an immigration bond company that
helps illegal immigrants avoid jail. An immigration bond will secure
(21:30):
the release of an undocumented alien from an immigration facility
with a guarantee the conditions of the immigration bond requirements
are met. Its web page says Brian Cole was listed
as Statewide Bonding's owner in a dispute over bonds for
illegal immigrants in the state of Colorado. It's really interesting
just the timing on this, considering how immigration is so
(21:52):
front and center nationally and certainly here in Minnesota. We
have an update on that coming up. In just a moment,
Ice announced it of Minneapolis arrests and what they were
calling Operation Metro Surge.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (22:07):
I'm glad of what they're doing, and I'm glad of
the rest the arrest that they made, but they.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Could have come with a better name than that. Metro Surge.
Speaker 17 (22:15):
Am.
Speaker 9 (22:15):
I the only one that thinks of the old late
nineteen nineties Actually I might have been mid nineteen nineties
drink surge.
Speaker 19 (22:22):
Am.
Speaker 11 (22:23):
I the only one that thinks of that, or you
know what I'm talking about. Mine's out there too. I
also thought of Beverly Hills cop the art dealer. His
name is like Surge, get out of here.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
I love that.
Speaker 9 (22:35):
He was one of my favorite characters in that movie
Good Well, The Lemon Twist, Yeah, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Lemon Twist.
Speaker 9 (22:41):
The January sixth pipe bombs were used by Democrats and
the media to portray Trump supporters is violent, though through
the Biden administration, the FBI claimed it was unable to
locate a suspect, and Kamala Harris, who was twenty feet
from the bomb at the DNC, never mentioned it. Charging
papers say Cole began purchasing bomb making parts in May
of twenty nineteen, during the Trump administration and long before
(23:04):
any dispute about election results. They say his cell phone
signals showed that he was in the vicinity of the
DNC and RNC when the bombs were placed. The Biden
administration quickly used similar cell phone data to apprehend hundreds
of Trump supporters from minor crimes. If there was no
reason for it to take this long, the Biden administration
essentially just drugged their feet, just had no interest in
getting to the bottom of the of this. And as
(23:28):
I mentioned before, it looks like he was hoping to
cause mass chaos by targeting both political party headquarters, which
is par for the course for radical leftists as an
example of how they do not care if they damage
their own party to go and.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Achieve their goals.
Speaker 9 (23:42):
There's one more interesting little aspect to this, and that
is there was a lot of reporting going around a
couple of weeks back wherein this news was supposed to break.
There was all this talk from individuals saying that they
had a suspect name, and there was this name that
was put out and it was this woman who had
(24:04):
worked with the government, and there was all this talk
that when we find out who the individual was, it's
going to be absolutely earth shattering, and yet here we are.
It's incredibly interesting and it's relevant. Don't misunderstand the background
of this individual, the fact that he targeted both locations.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
He was clearly left wing.
Speaker 9 (24:27):
But it does go and speak to the fact that
there were individuals out there that were spreading false information.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
So you got to take everything.
Speaker 9 (24:34):
With a bit, you know, with a bit of skepticism
when it comes to these particular these particular issues. It's
funny because this got barely a blip in the national
media yesterday, unlike Wallace, who continues to get national scrutiny.
Let's go ahead and dive into this. We've got a
lot of talkbacks already from you this morning. I will
(24:54):
get to on a lighter note, on a Freedom Friday,
my Gingerbread House question. I'm just going to hold off
on it because I know, well, let me put it
this way, I assume we're going to get a big response.
Typically when I assume something like that, we don't. But
I want to wait until we have a few more
of our guests here before I asked this question.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
It's a Freedom Friday one. We'll have a little bit.
Speaker 9 (25:15):
Of fun from ABC out of New York. It's been
a rough few days from Minnesota Governor Tim Walls, with
his states seemingly inundated with fraud cases. And I'm just
sharing this with you as one example of the national
media coverage that Walls is currently getting surrounding members of
(25:36):
the Somali immigrant community. Walls was blasted by President Trump
for overseeing such unchecked and damaging immigration. Trump went so
far as to call Walls as we've been talking about,
seriously retarded and added that something is wrong with him.
And with hundreds of thousands of Samali immigrants now calling
Minnesota home and a stunning level of fraud seemingly involved,
(25:57):
it's fair to wonder what Walls has been thinking. Defice
it to say he was very focused on what President
Donald Trump has to say. Responding to Trump's comments again
yesterday during a press conference wherein they were laying out
the budget and we'll get into the details of that budget,
and Walls had this to say.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
True, this creates danger.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
And I'll tell you what, in my time on this,
I'd never seen this before. People driving my house, by
my house, and using the R word in front of people.
Speaker 9 (26:26):
He had that little tell on there by the way
he stumbles over his words when he goes and he's
saying something that's going to be controversial, or perhaps he's
lying about fire of playing poker against Walls, and he
were to stumble, I would assume that he was bluffing.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
This is shameful, and I have yet to see an
elected official, a Republican elected official, say you're right. That's shameful.
He should not say it. So look, I'm worried. We
know how these things go. They start with taunts, they
turn to violence. So deeply concerned.
Speaker 9 (26:57):
Why would any Republican go and say anything different? Has
any Democrat come out and talked about the number of
things that Walls has said over the course of just
the past a few years.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
The former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark
Milly said, no one has ever been more dangerous to
this country than Donald Trump, and he is a fascist
to his core.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
Let that sink in.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
And don't be a damn bit afraid of saying it,
because that's exactly who he is. I'm getting called out
on this because I called Donald Trump a wanna be dictator.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
It's because he is. It's because he is.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
Oh, the governor's being mean, and the governor's speaking out
on that.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
Well, maybe it's time for us to be a little meaner.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Think of how easy it would be to be a
damn Republican. Oh what should I wear today? This stupid
freaking red hat. What should I say today?
Speaker 4 (27:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
Just make sure it's cruel. Who do we listen to
that guy? Oh, the felon in the White House. Yeah,
listen to him and that.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Will be fine.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Now he's talking about burning flags.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
He's gonna have flag burning or whatever.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
Because he knows there's a hell of a lot of
flags with his picture.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
On it that are gonna get burned.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
True, this creates danger, and I'll tell you what, in my.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
He might as well be talking about himself.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
Any time on this. I'd never seen this before.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
People driving my pouse by my house and using the
R word in front of people.
Speaker 20 (28:23):
This is shameful, and I have exactly that. When I
grew up, my dad would always say, don't be one
of those people who can dish it out but can't
take it. Well, that's Tim Waltz and that is a
personality disorder, and there are seven traits of those types
of people. One hypersensitivity, two lack of empathy, three insecurity,
(28:43):
four control issues, five fear of failure, six lack of
self awareness, and seven they depend on others for validation.
Pretty much covers that man.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
Happy freedom Forriday, Good morning, everybody.
Speaker 4 (28:57):
Did Tim wall say that it was his house?
Speaker 1 (29:00):
That's my check.
Speaker 12 (29:00):
I think that's the governor's mention that belongs to the
people of the state of Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
He's wrong again.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
We're going to.
Speaker 19 (29:10):
Given Tim Walls's house is taxpayer funded and public residence,
isn't it shouldn't it be treated like the White House
where we have public tours, then people could go inside
his house and not say the R word.
Speaker 14 (29:26):
More than John just wanted to say, totally don't believe
Tim Walls's story. We all know that he only opens
up his windows when Minneapolis is on fire, So no
way he heard anybody screaming any our words.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Thanks, have a good day.
Speaker 13 (29:42):
The best thing about Walls saying that people are driving
by his house using the R word, it's the fact
that it shows us what goes on in his head
to him being able to shout at people use words
is the greatest victory and insult of all time.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
That's why he doles out with the fascist.
Speaker 13 (30:01):
Repugnance, the skinny ankles, all the other crap he says,
have a good day.
Speaker 9 (30:05):
This article from ABC goes on to say it's rather
silly to hear Walls act so indignant at the word retarded,
considering it was used as common parlance or for hundreds
of years, only to recently become not politically correct. But
it's also understandable why he tried to play victim with
so much bad press headed his way. Upwards of seventy
(30:27):
eight defendants arrested in Minnesota for scandals tied to meal
programs and fraud. Total losses to taxpayers in Minnesota that
may exceed one billion.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
We know what goes beyond that, and.
Speaker 9 (30:38):
Yet reports day Walls ignored whistleblower reports and demanded action
be taken, and demanded action be taken about the fraud.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
But the R word, Wall says, words are violence.
Speaker 9 (30:49):
Suffice it to say taxpayers in Minnesota are a lot
more worried about losing billions of dollars and the theft
than they are about a bad word. So yesterday this
press conference talking about the budget. Minnesota faces a looming
three billion dollar deficit, has lost one billion to fraud,
(31:11):
and Walls says, there's actually one thing that's hurting the state.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
And it's not everything that I just mentioned. It's something else.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
I tell our to Molly neighbors, I tell our mong neighbors.
I tell all of our neighbors in Minnesota. You're respected,
you're valued. We're proud of this state that ranks near
the top in almost every single category.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
And I will tell you the only thing.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
That's hurting this state, as he so falsely claimed to
a group of people, is Donald Trump himself.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
That's all he's got. That's all that he's got.
Speaker 9 (31:46):
After all of that, the only thing that's hurting the
state is Donald Trump himself. Please, Governor Tim Walls, exactly
what has Trump done to the state?
Speaker 1 (31:59):
Well, first off, what has Trump done to the state?
Speaker 9 (32:01):
But secondly, what has he done that's worse than what
has happened under your watch?
Speaker 1 (32:11):
I'd be very, very curious.
Speaker 17 (32:15):
My only question about a gingerbread house is do you
eat them or look at them?
Speaker 9 (32:19):
Shh, It's not get ahead of ourselves. On a Freedom Friday,
sh pat. Well, wait, we'll have to ask that question officially,
but thank you for the talkback.
Speaker 21 (32:38):
Good morning John Rich.
Speaker 5 (32:39):
Here.
Speaker 21 (32:40):
So we look at abuses of political offices. We look
at the Biden administration called me underneath It. It was
going after January sixth and Trump political opponents rather than
dealing with the drug bent mode and the actual pipe
bomber himself is an example. We look at the Waltz administration,
(33:00):
Mcteith Ellison going after Trump and doing roadblocks, but yet
not going after the fraudsters, the piece of power.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Getting back to the DC bomber.
Speaker 22 (33:09):
As Rich just mentioned, wait, wait a second, the DC
bomber is now a guy. A couple of weeks ago
is coming out that it was a woman who was
dimped up who worked for I believe the CIA, and
they had video tracking her all over the place, and
now it's a guy. Yeah, is this a second person
or the same person? If so, boy, this is fishy.
Speaker 6 (33:32):
No.
Speaker 9 (33:32):
I think the answer is the original reporting of what
you heard, and that's what I was mentioning in a
moment ago.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
Shouldn't have been trusted. That's my take on it. And
that's the unfortunate aspect.
Speaker 9 (33:41):
It's like and I've made this example before, but I
follow a lot of pop culture, and there's a lot
of individuals and I like getting into what they'll do
analysis on trailers for upcoming films, especially ones that are
based off of books, to try to glean what the story.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
Is going to be about.
Speaker 9 (33:55):
And usually eighty five ninety percent of the time, all
that speculation.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Is completely wrong.
Speaker 9 (34:00):
Nobody ever goes back, though, to point at people who
were putting out false information. And again that's on a
much lighter note, same thing rings true here. There's not
going to be anybody going back in time to the
individuals that were perpetuating the idea that the pipe bomber
actually was a female.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
All right, we'll get back to more of your talkbacks
here in just a moment.
Speaker 9 (34:19):
On Twin City's news talk, I do want to go
here briefly, though. Also getting national coverage was Peggy flan
again with the comments that she made. Minnesota's leftisted Democrat
Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan erupted against President Donald Trump, launching
a broadside that sounded more like a social media influencer
meltdown than the words of a sitting state executive. After
(34:44):
Trump scorched Minnesota Somali community over allegations of massive welfare
fraud and ties to terrorism. Plan again posted this online.
We played it yesterday, but I'll share it again this
morning on Twin City's news Talk.
Speaker 23 (34:57):
You know this mile racist stream of consciousness from a president.
Old man yells at Cloud, You're disgusting and the people
of this country deserve so much better. I just watched
(35:21):
the video of Donald Trump attacking the beautiful Somali community.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
Let me stop it here. You'll get the idea.
Speaker 9 (35:31):
The Daily Wire goes on to say that instead of
reckoning with the shocking reality of the fraud here in
Minnesota allegedly tied to some holly run operations that misused
to medicaid and housing aid, or demanding accountability for the
theft and possible terrorism financing under again her own administration,
(35:52):
Flannagan turned just like Walls did to her indignation on Trump.
It's a deflection pattern that's become her political or you.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Go the route of Hope Walls.
Speaker 9 (36:04):
Before we wrap up Hour one, somebody was asking yesterday
where's Hope Wall's been in all of this.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
I haven't heard or seeing her in a while.
Speaker 9 (36:12):
Well, she must have heard your cries because she posted
this online yesterday in the wake of all the controversies
that we've been talking about.
Speaker 7 (36:20):
The bots on this app lately are insane. I've literally
never had so many bots in my like comments.
Speaker 6 (36:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (36:33):
I think it's because like Trump decided that Minnesota is
something he's gonna go after and be like extremely racist
towards a really awesome community in Minnesota, and then like
they get programmed to just like flag anything Minnesota and
just like be racist and horrible in people's comments. I
(36:54):
don't know, actually, but like I've I've never had so
many bots. I always have, like, but it's like overrun.
Speaker 21 (37:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (37:05):
Someone in Russia decided to program literally every bot on
the internet to play anything Minnesota in any like person
that has anything to do with Minnesota.
Speaker 21 (37:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (37:17):
So weird, like so weird. Good luck, y'all, it's not
gonna work.
Speaker 9 (37:23):
Do not play the drinking game of taking a shot
every time, Hope Walls says, like even in a one
minute and three second video, because you're probably gonna die
and Hope if you're listening this morning, No, those aren't bots.
Those are individuals who are simply expressing what we've known
(37:43):
here for a long time, and that is that your
dad is.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
Really really really really really bad at his job.
Speaker 9 (37:52):
We have our guests joining us in studio coming up
in the next hour, Catherine Johnson from American Experiment Representative,
Walter Hudson, and ak Kamara. Midway through the show, and
we have an answer. If you're looking for how many
hours that you listen to me, John Justice here on
Twin Cities News Talk.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
Here is how you.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Do it, Hey John.
Speaker 7 (38:11):
When you open up the app, the little bell on
the top of the screen for me had notifications, so
when
Speaker 14 (38:18):
I clicked on that, that's where it told me
