Speaker 1 (00:00):
Telling service members to refuse a day's news, fuse illegal orders.
He's on. They have what's called the Trump derangement problem.
Have you heard about that problem? Our national nightmare is over.
You can all breathe a sigh of relief. President Donald

(00:21):
Trump yesterday, long after I went to bed, signed a
bill ordering the Department of Justice to release its records
on the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
That's right. Our national nightmare is over, and nothing's gonna

(00:45):
come of it. Twin Cities News Talk Am eleven thirty
one oh three five FM worldwide on the iHeartRadio app.
As we begin our Thursday extravaganza from the sixty five
to one Carpet Next Day Install Studio's MI name's John
Justice because that's what people call me. Next Door in

(01:07):
the Master control booth is Devin and you. I'm glad
you're with the show today. The Justice Department now has
thirty days to comply with the bill, release the evidence
and records it is compiled on Epstein, notwithstanding any reactions
to the materials. Oh, it's unfortunate. There has to be

(01:30):
redactions in this, but this is only going to contribute
to not satisfying the individuals who care the most about
releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files. The bill reached the President's
desk after the House voted to approve the release of
the records. Earlier this week, Trump announced the signing and

(01:52):
the post on truth social highlighting Epstein's connections to various
Democratic politicians. Perhaps the truth about these Democrats in their
associations with Jeffrey Epstein will soon be revealed. Because I
have just signed the bill to release the Epstein files,
he writes, in all capital letters with an exclamation point.
At my direction, writes Trump. The Department of Justice has

(02:15):
already turned over close to fifty thousand pages of documents
to Congress, he continued, before accusing Democrats of leveraging the
Epstein files to try and distract from our amazing victories.
He's not wrong. Democrats don't really care about this. They
just want to be able to use it. And right

(02:36):
now Democrats are probably happy that Trump went and did this,
simply to take away from the controversy surrounding the Delegate
to the House of Representative Stacy Plaskett, in her texting
with Epstein during that hearing back in twenty nineteen, which
is continue to garner a lot of controversy, and rightfully so.
It's ridiculous, completely inappropriate, counter to what Democrats have been

(03:00):
saying about Epstein. Trump went on to this latest hoax
will backfire on Democrats adjust as all the rest have.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Make it
back a great again, you concluded. Now, it is unclear
what will be revealed in the documents yet to be released.
The Justice Department has already released, as Trump mentioned, tens

(03:22):
of thousands of pages of collected evidence related to Epstein
as part of a House probe into the matter. Much
of the remaining materials cannot be released as it is
sealed from the public view by a court order. The
Daily wire Piece goes on to say, while the odds
of revealing new criminal conduct may be low, the possibility

(03:43):
of embarrassing revelations may be high in the new files.
Harvard University economists and former president Lawrence Summers has already
paused to teaching at the university while the institution investigates
his relationship with Epstein and waits for new information in
the documents to be released. I imagine this is going to

(04:05):
go down potentially. Okay, let's just for the sake of argument,
because I don't believe that this is going to be
a game changer in the slightest. Some people may get
swept up in this. What has to wonder if people
do get swept up into this because of the release
of the files, why weren't they held accountable in the

(04:27):
first place. So that needs to be cleared. I mean,
if they have the information and people have seen these
documents and it can go and implicate individuals, then you
would think that would have already happened. But I don't
think that this is going to be any sort of
game changer. As I've been saying, all along, minds have
been made up on this issue. The headcanon is there.

(04:49):
I'd be curious to know what the victims of Epstein
would expect through all of this as well, especially as
I mentioned, because if people were going to be held accountable,
they should have been held accountable accountable already. But let's
just say that for the sake of argument, there are
individuals that are swept up in this, like this Harvard

(05:11):
University economist, and you see some people are held accountable
for their relationship with Epstein and potentially horrendous crimes relating
as such, I imagine it's going to be not all
that unlike what happened happened with Feeding our Future here
in Minnesota. You may have some individuals who are directly

(05:34):
involved in all of this, but convention, you know, I think,
at least my opinion is that when it comes to
Feeding our Future, there were a lot more people in
the upper echelons of Minnesota government that were aware of
what was going on, turned to blind eye, or may
have been involved than what you and I have been
told and what's been exposed. But those individuals are never
going to be held accountable. You know, Rumors continue to

(05:58):
swirl about Keith Ellison and is alleged involvement information that
has yet gone and come to light beyond recordings during
what he thought were private meetings talking about how he
would support the individuals swept up in this over of
the taxpayers here in Minnesota. So if anybody ends up

(06:18):
being held accountable with the release of these files, then
again I believe it'll be low level individuals that you've
never heard of, and we'll sit back and question why
they weren't held accountable otherwise. And in the meantime, any
names that are mentioned without any evidence of criminal wrongdoing,
these files are just going to be used by both

(06:38):
Republicans and Democrats to try to one up each other
or discredit one another. So ultimately, I just hope it's
kind of the beginning of the end of this whole issue,
because in the grand scheme of the things that we'll
be even talking about on today's show, it's kind of irrelevant,

(06:58):
also irrelevant. There's a lot of that going around today,
but it's fun. I want to share with you a
story as an example of just the media manipulation against
Republicans and Conservatives and how that extends even beyond our
own shores. There's a post from the Independent UK where
they keyed in on essentially a viral post by a

(07:22):
well known conservative commentator and political figure on x and
they decided to run with a whole article about it.
I'll share details. You probably haven't heard about this, but
yesterday the Democrats introduced a ballroom Bribery Act. It's as
stupid as it sounds. We have an update on the

(07:43):
Democrats of video asking members of our military law enforcement
to refuse illegal orders, and a big immigration update to
get to as well. Next hour on the show, we're
going to dive into the reasons why your property taxes
are going up. Chamber of Commerce just issued yesterday a

(08:03):
devastating economic report. I won't bury the lead, but essentially
the takeaway is you knew this already, but now we
have the data. Governor Tim Wallson Democrats have absolutely failed
taxpayers here relating to the economy in Minnesota by every
measurable metric relating to the economy. There was also a

(08:28):
hearing that took place in Saint Paul regarding the paid
family medical leave. I got a lot of audio to
share it. Of course, I want to hear from you
throughout the show this morning. Email me Justice at iHeartRadio
dot com eight four four nine four six five eight
five five that's the new phone number, or if you're
listening on the iHeartRadio, Apple'll get you your talkbacks. Next
here on Twinsday's News Talk at AM eleven thirty and

(08:51):
one oh three five FM.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Good morning, and I love your show.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
If you missed the opening of the show, here on
Twin Cities News Talk from the six five to one
carpet plus Next Day Install Studios. President Donald Trump did
sign yesterday the necessary documents to release the f Stein files.
For those of you of a certain age, you guys

(09:21):
remember Heraldo Rivera in al Capone's vaults. For those that
don't know what I'm talking about, this was a big
deal on TV prior to the Internet, where in Heraldo Rivera,
the intrepid reporter at the time, was going to be
getting into al Capone's vaults for the very first time

(09:42):
and it was going to be huge and any he
went in after a lot of pre promotion and then yeah,
there was nothing. Now there was nothing there, So I
expect the same the same thing here. It's just been
used as a political football and it's going to continue
to be. This is not to say that I don't

(10:04):
also want justice for the victims as well, but it
is to say that there's been information that's been out
there for a long long time, and common sense, conventional
wisdom would simply tell you that if people haven't been
held accountable yet for horrible actions, releasing the files to
the public is suddenly going to do that. Apart from

(10:26):
some lower level individuals, which is not going to be
enough to satisfy many. The head cannon has been written
in the minds of too many individuals. It doesn't matter
what they release at this point. Even if they said
they were releasing everything unredacted, it still wouldn't matter. You
had NASA come out yesterday with their own photos of
three I atlas, which I've been following because I'm fascinated

(10:49):
by the whole thing, because unlike Catherine Johnson, I actually
actually like space. I can't find the clip that sucks,
but here it is.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
I hate space.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Yeah, I like space. So NASA releases the photos yesterday,
and it shows that it's a comment. There's still some
weird characteristics, it's still really really big. It doesn't matter.
People just don't believe what they at all. NASA is lying.
Oh they're covering it up. All right, It's get to
some of your thoughts and hats up to you guys,
by the way, because you did not disappoint in the

(11:24):
talkbacks already this morning brought to you by Lindahl Realty
from the iHeartRadio app So incorrect.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Nothing's going to come out of this. You're gonna hear
some stammering and stuttering and excuse making by those who
had relationships with Epstein, but nothing will happen to them.
We all need to realize that these people are human beings,
and humans are born flawed, and you have to actually
work at being good human beings. And sadly, too many
of the Democrats work at power and control over honesty

(11:52):
and morality.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
And that's the fact. Have a great day, guys. I
know I mentioned this before, but it has coffee in
the morning. Maybe he needs to switch to tea or
maybe DCAF love you like a brother, my man. Let's
go here now.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
The next step with the Epstein files is the left
will say that the Republicans are hiding stuff and it
didn't all get released, and we will continue on. Well,
happy Thursday.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
You know what your uh, your prediction couldn't have been
any more accurate if it tried.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
Hey more in this zero from BRAINERD, people have already
made up their minds about this.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Uh huh uh.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
Yeah, MAGA has for the last what thirty years of
being obsessed with this. Yeah, Trump is in the files,
but we're going to get a heavily redacted version. Should
have listened to me, guys, released them unredacted so we
can see that Trump is a pedophile. But we won't
get that until the loss to the Libs next year.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
It's unfortunate.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Thank you, Eric for making my point. I couldn't have
scripted that better if I tried. Your head, Cannon's already
made up. You already just assume, based off of no
evidence whatsoever, that Trump is a pedophile, that he's in there.

(13:24):
You know what's funny about that too? And I want
to go back to what to what friend of the
show Scott said a moment ago. I don't want to
wipe out on this. Let me just make make a point.
It may seem a little bit odd, but I was
thinking about this when I was looking at the transcript
from Eric and Brainerd's comments and his belief that Trump
is a is a pedophile. The odds of Trump being

(13:44):
a pedophile are so so incredibly low, especially when you
just consider the background of the individual. I mean, this
is a guy that doesn't do drugs, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink.
He doesn't have any of the typical proclivid that one
would usually expect to find in an individual who would

(14:06):
actually stoop to the level of one of the most
heinous things an individual could do. Ever, But does it
matter for people? And I appreciate the fact that he
made my point. Mines are made up regarding this issue.
It doesn't matter what gets released.

Speaker 6 (14:25):
Good morning, John, Tim Kansas City. Just reminding all of
the foes of the show and Trump haters and just
general lips that not one single solitary Epstein file exists
that did not also exist during the entire four years
of the Biden administration, we heard not one word about

(14:49):
any of it.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
So thank you for the comments this morning. We'll continue
to get to those brought to you by Lindahl Realty
here on Twin Cities News Talk. So I found this
on my show prep website where it aggregates all of
the news stories. This is one of the many places
that I go to. They had the sidebar of the

(15:12):
idea starters that I've talked about often. These are trending stories.
So where in this morning I find this story j
Cruse sweater sparks outrage. It serves as one of the
best examples of the media bias clickbait, and I've got
numerous others to share with you coming up within the

(15:34):
next half hour. Basically, what this amounts to is the
story from the Independent UK MAGA has found a new
item of clothing to be upset about a J Crew sweater.
Before I even dove into the story, I could have guessed,
and I was, And I was right what this was
pertaining to, not that I knew the details of the story,

(15:55):
but that some reporter at The Independent UK saw a
post made by individual that ended up gaining a lot
of attention and decided, Hey, this will make Maga look stupid,
so I'm gonna go ahead and write article about it.
And that's exactly what happened. Conservative social media influencer Juanita
Broderick raised concerns on social media over the sweater and
made it the latest piece of clothing to face Maga fury.

(16:20):
You know, or maybe it just happened to be a
semi prominent public figure in the current largest online town
square being X who put up a post, shared a
comment and it happened to go viral. And yet you

(16:41):
have one UK anti Trump publication that decides to go
and run with it. Is it funny? Yeah, it's kind
of funny. Is it interesting sure enough to spark a
reaction from people? Is it a big deal? Hardly and
hardly not worth a full article, just a couple of
points from it. Because I did find an amusing Maga

(17:03):
world has their knickers in a twist, you immediately know
it's a European publication. The use of knickers over a
seemingly innocuous article of clothing a men's sweater firestorm erupted
online firestorm people commented it got a lot of views.
Firestorm after one need a Broaderrick, prominent figure in conservative circles,

(17:26):
posted an image of a J. Creu sweater on x SO.
This started with The Daily Beast. Unsurprisingly, one need a
Broaderick wrote, are you kidding me?

Speaker 7 (17:36):
Men?

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Would you wear one hundred and sixty eight dollars sweater?
For those unfamiliar, One need a Broaderick accused Bill Clinton
of sexual assault back in nineteen ninety nine. The allegation
was denied. The pink wool pullover features ornate patterns woven
near the neckline. Jay Crew describes it as festive and
vintage inspired. Apparently this is supposed to be a male sweater.

(17:58):
Broaderick's post ended up tracting over five hundred thousand views
and thousands of comments, many of which expressed to outrage
over the sweater, particularly its color. Yeah listen, this was
just another viral post but not unlike say the Gold's
blue sweater that broke, but even less interesting than that

(18:19):
phenomenon that took place. But this is what your anti
Trump publications do. Some accused of the well known clothier,
long associated with a classic preppy style of trying to
erode masculine norms. Others said the pricey garment is perfectly
suited for a particular demographic, democrats. Broaderick's post even drew

(18:40):
commentary from a Republican member of Congress. All you mean
there was a remember of Congress online that commented on
something you don't say. Representative Tim Burchett, Kentucky representative, reposted
her image, writing it's something a sorority girl would wear
in the eighties. That's actually kind of funny, it is.

(19:00):
A Few of the comments, though, were less dismissive. Pink
shirts were vogue for a while in the eighties. One
ex user offered, my mother bought one for my dad.
It's a really good example if you just don't know
what's gonna catch on. I mean, even with all the
years that I've been doing radio, sometimes you just simply
do not know what is going to grab the listener's attention.

(19:20):
Try as you might to pick topics that you believe
are going to go off. Rarely do I ever get
that right, because you simply don't know what is going
to spark the interest of individuals. So I just talk
about things that matter to me. Meanwhile, a reviewer on
JA Crew's website offered a more forceful rebuke. Anyone who
says this is a feminine sweater is wrong. I like

(19:44):
guy stuff, and this is the best piece in my wardrobe.
I smell like beef jerky. A representative for J Crew
did not immediately respond to a request for a comment
from The Independent. Not a sweater that I would wear,
but I'll have that big of an issue with it.
I was dating a girl back in the This would
have been the early nineties. And for those that remember,

(20:06):
there was a clothing store called Close Time. Devin probably
has no idea what I'm talking about. Never I never
heard it, never heard of, never heard of Close Time there. Okay,
they sell clothes there, right, mostly female clothes. So this
was in in Irvine, California, And so she worked for
the for the Closed Time there, and I remember I
came to her to her work one day for lunch

(20:30):
and I went in and we were you know, this
is the time when I don't know if they do this anymore,
but they would actually like pin the dresses like up
on the wall so you could see them. And I
was like, wow, I saw one on the wall. I
was like, wow, that is an ugly dress. And she says, oh, no, no, no,
it is not ugly. It's my girlfriend. At the time,
she goes, no, no, no, you just don't understand it.

(20:51):
This was the line that the employees told them that
you were never allowed to say a garment was unattractive
or ugly. If you needed to go that route, you
would just simp say that, you know, you just don't
under understand it. The point being is it's all subjective.
Keeping with the theme of ridiculous attempts to go and
disparage conservatives, Democrats have introduced the Stop Ballroom Bribery Act

(21:17):
to impose donation restrictions for Trump's three hundred million dollar
ballroom project project. It seems a little late on that,
haven't we moved on? Democrats don't care about those renovations anymore.
That time has passed. We'll get to your comments from
the iHeartRadio app. Also next on Twin City's news talk
Am eleven thirty and one oh three five FM. What's

(21:39):
called a Trump derangement problem? Have you heard about that problem?
What are you doing? Democrats Radio station?

Speaker 4 (21:49):
When I was in high school in the eighties, Miami
rites were huge and the whole pastoral color palette was
very populated.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Oh one hundred percent. Facebook feed has been filled with
vintage BMX bikes from the eighties. I don't talk about
it very often, but I raced to BMX bikes for years.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
When I was a kid.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Loved it, by the way, So I feel nostalgic when
I see those videos pop up online. And it's become
a thing now where guys my age go and collect
these old BMX bikes and they restore them back to
their show room glory. And you're right, most of those
bikes back then were all these different day glow and
pastel colors. Working off the article where in The Independent

(22:36):
UK decided to take a post from Oney to Broaderck
about a j Crewe pink Mals sweater I guess is
for Christmas and post it online sharing her opinion. It
went viral and they thought it was enough to go
and post an entire story about it, how Maga is
suddenly now upset at clothing again. Front of the show. Chad, though,
makes an excellent points regarding this issue, doing that thing

(23:00):
with my fingers burning everybody.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
It's the Chad from Delano. I seem to remember a
certain group getting mad about clothes. But it wasn't the
Mega crew and the color of the girl's skin that
was advertising clothes. Something had to do with American egle.
I believe. Oh yeah, huh, weird. Have a great day, everybody.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
On another note, John, you made my day. You mentioned
an asteroid slash comment. I can now have a great Thursday.
You know what I'm doing. I'm doing my part. I
am doing my part. Regarding the Epstein files.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
How about they released the Fauci files and the Hillary
Clinton files and the Joe Biden files that tell us
why they flew back at mock I on Air Force
one from Las Vegas after he had that stroke.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
Have a good day.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
I like the thought, though, we should just turn everything
into having files, release the Walls files regarding his stolen valor.
Everything should just be about files. I dig that. I
derive a lot of entertainment when you can compare pop
culture to politics, and a one being downstream from another.

(24:28):
The whole idea of the Epstein Files in and of itself,
reminds me a lot of when you have a director,
he directs a film, studio steps in, makes a whole
bunch of changes. Film gets released, it's not very popular,
but then suddenly the mythical director's cut, usually attached to

(24:52):
the director's name, ends up going viral and reaching things
of mythical proportions. Sometimes it actually he plays out. This
happened with Justice League. Zack Snyder was directing Justice League.
He had family issues relating to his daughter. He had
to leave. Josh Wheden came in, took over. Justice League

(25:12):
was released. It didn't do very well. It wasn't great.
It's fun watch, but wasn't great. So then suddenly the
Snyder cuts became a thing of mythology. They actually ended
up releasing the Snyder cut. It's about four hours long.
I own the Blu ray. It's fantastic. He has something
similar when it comes to Suicide Squad, the one that
was directed by Ayers, so everyone's like, release the Ares

(25:33):
cut of that, And it's the same thing when it
comes to the Epstein Files. Everything you just have files
attached to it. Let's go back to the top backs.
Foes of the show are up early this morning.

Speaker 8 (25:46):
Good morning guy, Just so from being pray. Yeah, Trump's
a pedophile. He said to Howard Stern and I quote,
I'll go walk backstage to my Misty universe and inspect
the young ladies because I own the Miss Team universe.
And he did it, and he said I would have
I would date my data. Evonka if I wasn't hear Dad,

(26:09):
he's a pedophile. Number one pedophile. Have a good day.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Hey, Phil, you keep uh and he keeps saying pedophile.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
I don't think I miss what you're thinking.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Miss You have a really twisted view of what the
word pedophile means. Like under your definition, there are a
lot of people right now that could be accused of
being a pedophile. We may have broken the record of
that word being said in this level of frequency in

(26:45):
such a short period of time.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
You know, it would be hilarious.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Is if they released the.

Speaker 7 (26:52):
Files quote unquote okay, and it's a bunch of like
metal files, male files.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
That you know are all rusty in bad shape files released. Yeah,
that's going, that's that's in the running for talkback of
the day. I would very much appreciate that.

Speaker 9 (27:11):
Good morning, John Dave sang Louis Park. Do you think
Eric from BRAINERD sounds like Pete Wee Herman. That's why
he always uses the voice modulator.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
Who knows at this point in time, All right, let's
go here. Democrats have introduced the Stop of the Ballroom
Briber React. The bill would ban donations from individuals with
conflicts of interest, prevent the president and vice president from contributing,
and mandate real names for donations. If this actually went through,

(27:48):
and it won't, but if it did, it would just
end up being taxpayers that have to go now and
pay for their renovations because Trump's already torn down the
East wing and Democrats don't care about this anymore. And
spoiler alert hot take in case you didn't know. They
didn't care about it in the first place. It was
just something that they could point at and say Trump's bad. Look,

(28:09):
he's tearing down stuff and rebuilding to other things. I
commented on I don't typically do this, but I just was.
It was early in the morning, I'd just woken up,
I'm prepping for the show, having my first SIPs of coffee,
and I'm online looking for audio, and I saw a
post from Angie Craig where she was talking and going
on about the Epstein files being released and get it

(28:30):
out to the public and blah blah blah. It's like
you don't care. She doesn't care. No, it's politically popular
to go and care about it on the left. But
you guys said all the time in the world to
care about this issue, and you didn't say anything. So
many examples of this. You have shootings that take place
still see. You have shootings that take place, well, here

(28:52):
in Minneapolis, you can just point to downtown minneapples for
crying out loud. Typically the go to would be like
Chicago relating to the number of murders that take place
and gang related shooting. Since every single weekends, you don't
hear anything from the gun control advocates. But when there's
an event that takes place where they can go and
exploit it, pull on heartstrings, then you'll see them talk

(29:14):
about gun control. The proposed bill Stop a Ballroom Bribery
Act would also prohibit displaying donors' names and logos as
recognition of the donation and impose a two year cooling
off period before donors can lobby the federal government. The
article does say the bill is not likely to gain
traction in the republic controlled house of the Senate, and

(29:36):
it's unlikely that Trump was signed into law. It's not
the point, though. They can put it forward, it gets rejected,
and they can just point to it and say Republicans
don't care about this issue. So an update to the
six Democrats who were urging the military and law enforcement
officials to refuse illegal orders. In case you missed it

(29:57):
from yesterday, I'm Senator Alissa Sackin.

Speaker 10 (30:00):
Editor Mark Kelly, Representative Chris Stiluzios, Congressman good Landers, Representative
Chrissy Hulahan, Congressman Jason Crowe.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
I was a captain in the United States.

Speaker 10 (30:08):
Navy, former CIA officer, former Navy, former paratrooper and Army ranger,
former intelligence officer.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Former Air Force.

Speaker 10 (30:15):
We want to speak directly to members of the military
and the intelligence community to take risks each day keep
Americans safe.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
We know you are under enormous stress and pressure right now.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
Americans trust their military, with that trust is at risk.

Speaker 10 (30:28):
This administration is pitting our uniform military and intelligence community
professionals against American citizens like us.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
You all swore an oath to protect and defend this constitution.
Right now, the threats to our constitution aren't just coming
from abroad, from right here at home.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
Our laws are clear.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
You can refuse illegal orders. What are you doing for
legal orders? You must refuse illegal orders.

Speaker 11 (30:52):
No one has to carry out orders that violate the
law or our constitution.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
We know this is hard and that it's a difficult
time to marry. You heard enough of them. So, keeping
with the theme of the bias media, I'm looking at
an article here from Newsweek. Pete Hegseth reacts as six
Democrats urge refuse illegal orders. So it starts off Defense

(31:18):
Secretary Pete Hegseth reacting to a video gives the details,
and then we get one, two, three, We get four
paragraphs of everything the Democrats said, and you have to
get all the way down to the second to last
sentence where it goes. Heg Seth responded to Lawmaker's video
by posting on X stage four TDS referring to the

(31:41):
phrase Trump derangement syndrome. Thanks. Newsweek kind of buried the
lead there, didn't you. This clip here has gone viral
relating to this issue overnight and for good reason. So
yesterday on Fox News, one of the individuals you heard,
Democrat Representative Jason Crowe, went on Martha McCallum and hat

(32:05):
tipped to him for going on Martha McCallum, and Martha
asked him some four times what the illegal orders were,
and yet he refused to give an answer. Listen to
this exchange.

Speaker 11 (32:16):
What lay are you talking about that's being broken? And
then you said that he's implying that he might do
something that they wouldn't want to uphold or follow through
with in the future. What are you talking about specifically?

Speaker 10 (32:29):
Yeah, Yeah, I appreciate you asking him.

Speaker 8 (32:31):
Well.

Speaker 10 (32:31):
Number one, the protest with Lafayette Square in the first
Trump administration where he said, can't you just shoot them?
Can't you just shoot them in the legs or something?
That's a direct quote, and of course, other than Trman
or the doing quartercraft.

Speaker 11 (32:42):
That was not a military order, that was a comment.

Speaker 10 (32:46):
When that's coming from the President of the United States
to your commit to your generals, don't you think that's
a request that.

Speaker 11 (32:51):
I'm asking specifically right now what you're talking about?

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (32:56):
Number Two, he's also threatened to send the military into
Chicago and other cities to go to war with those cities, right,
that is a very very disturbing thing.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Number Three, he's also.

Speaker 10 (33:08):
Alluded to sending troops to polling stations, which is actually
a violation of US law. US criminal law prohibits troops
from going to polling stations, and he's alluded to that.
So those are just one of many example you're talking
about illusions.

Speaker 11 (33:21):
You're not talking about actual policy. You're not talking about
things that are members of our service members who we
revere and respect, are actually being asked.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
To do so.

Speaker 11 (33:34):
When you see this video on exactly all over the place,
When you see this video on social media, I think
a lot of people scratch their heads and they say,
what exactly are they talking about? Are they talking about
not allowing gunboats to make it to the United States
carrying drugs? Is I mean, is that what you're talking about?

Speaker 10 (33:51):
Martha, here's a novel idea. How about we actually prevent
things from happening before they become a problem.

Speaker 11 (33:56):
I think that's what they're trying to do.

Speaker 10 (33:57):
That you're what you're saying. What you're saying is we
have to wait until there's a problem to respond to
that problem.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
No, I'm not right.

Speaker 10 (34:04):
As a military officer, what I think is important is
we train people, we give them information, We prepare people
for challenges coming down the pike. That is what I
did as a commander in the military. That's what I'm
doing now. As we are standing by our troops, we
are reminding.

Speaker 11 (34:20):
Them of obligations from the commander you are military to
carry out. Are you objecting to? This is very very vague,
and it was so vague in this video nobody only
people could figure out what you guys were all talking about.

Speaker 10 (34:34):
Honestly, Martha, Donald Trump has made a series of very
disturbing comments.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Yeah, they're comments, they're not orders. Good on Martha McCallum
for not letting him skate by with that. Just once,
just once, we could sorry, just once. I would love
it if in this case you would have this Democrat

(35:01):
representative Jason Crow just be honest, just say, you know what,
he hasn't given any orders. We don't care, we don't
like what he's doing. We want to encourage our military
to push back on this administration. He hasn't given any
specific orders, but it doesn't mean he can't. And if

(35:22):
he does, they need to disobey them, just be honest. No,
Instead we have to go through this ridiculous song and
dance this back and forth. They think you're stupid. Anybody
with half a brain watching, Okay, maybe not that, but

(35:42):
most people watching understand exactly why Democrats put out that
ridiculous video. Let's get to a few of your comments
before we move on here on Twin City's News Talk.

Speaker 12 (35:54):
Hey John, I'm just wondering, can we ask Phil to
stop running up the stairs before he calls you. It
always seems like he's out of breath, exasperated and breathing heavy.
It's very troubling.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
Am I want to go to the doctor? You know,
chartas and breath can be a telltale sign of some
really bad things happening. So and I'm gonna go and
get that checked. This is North Side Tears. Phil, you
are more wrong.

Speaker 8 (36:19):
Okay, None of those people if uncle for one and
a child and the women in this pageant weren't children
pedal files like children?

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Get addictionary, Phil, Thank you, Terence. Phil doesn't care. It's
just like the representative you heard on there. It doesn't
it doesn't matter, all right, let's go let's go here,
all right?

Speaker 11 (36:44):
Plus one for the Princess Briane reference.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Also, Phil, I'm thinking you're protesting a little much.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
Dude got very good arms.

Speaker 7 (36:59):
He didn't.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Oh inconceivable you give you sent that fourth? I don't
think I miss what do you think it miss? I
got to do a rewatch. I haven't watched Princess Bryden
a long time. So while you have civil emergencies being
issued after the anti ice raids, bomb threats, and death threats,

(37:20):
this is going out in broadview broadview Illinois major law
enforcement response has been triggered because of the continued protests, riots,
and death threats that have taken place. This is according
to the Department of Homeland Security DHS officials at the
declaration underscores how extreme threats have become after weeks of

(37:43):
escalating violence around the local ICE processing facility. The only
issues really stemming from Trump's illegal immigration crackdown, which again
I voted for, is coming from leftist activists and the media.
By and large, illegals who have been swept up in
this accepted their fate. You've had a few that have
attempted to go and run, but for the most part,

(38:05):
the only controversy regarding any of this has been the
protesters that has showed up. It happened locally. We'll get
to this in just a moment wherein activist one answers
after the ice rate on the Saint Paul business too bad,
so sad that I wanted to share this with you
before I wrap up this hour. Though I found this
earlier in the week, I was spot on in my

(38:27):
assumption of what was going to take place. So in Charlotte,
North Carolina, the story emerged that Hendrick Motorsports one of
the premier NASCAR teams. They owned several dealerships. Rick Hendrick
does He actually went into a contract with Immigrations and
Customs and Enforcement with the government for twenty five Chevy Tahoes.

(38:52):
I said in a letter authorizing the funds that Hendrick
Motorsports was the only company registered to do business with
the federal government with the vehicles on hand. I went
to go find a story regarding this, and I found
this one from the Charlotte Observer. Critics call for boycott
of Charlotte area company that provided ice vehicles. I already
have seen posts online from NASCAR fans saying, well, I

(39:14):
guess I can't root for Handrick Motorsports anymore whatever. But
you look at the beginning of this article and the
first line reads as border patrol officers Rome Charlotte looking
for people to detain and deport. Some locals are criticizing
businesses profiting from the Trump administration's moves, and I was
just like, whoa this was supposed to be. This wasn't

(39:34):
an editorial, it was just an article. But that first
line as border patrol officers Rome, Charlotte looking for people
to detain. Could you paint ab leak or picture of
what's not happening. What's funny about this, though, is that yesterday,
because I found this story about two days ago, yesterday

(39:54):
I found out that the Charlotte Observer has been using
writers paid by left wing nonprofits to write the articles
on the immigration raids in Charlotte, North Carolina. And that's
exactly what happened with this one here wherein they create
this false claim that Hendrick Motorsports didn't go through the
correct billing process, contract bidding process when working with ICE.

(40:20):
It was all a ruse. It was all just left
wing propaganda. Immigration Defense Network gathered for a vigil yesterday.
In a press conference after the ICE rate took place
in Saint Paul. Also, we're going to get into how
Minnesota's economy has fallen behind on nearly every measure of growth.
That's all coming up on Twin Cities News Talk AM
