Speaker 1 (00:09):
Good morning, gentlemen.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
As they say, you say Tomato, I say to model,
that's right. We all need to give John pass.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Yes you do, always says as freely as I said
the same, And we all need to realize that we
live in the state that had a movie Fargo, very successful,
that made total fun of.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
The way we talk in the state of Minnesota.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Sure, what about I have a great day, Hope, Thank
you as always, Scott.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
Welcome to hour two Twin Cities News Talk AM eleven
thirty one oh three five FM. My name is John Justice,
broadcasting from the sixty five to one carpet Next Day
Install Studios. We've got Sam and the master control booth
next door representative Max Rymer.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
You made it in on time. I did. I did.
Speaker 6 (00:55):
And by the way, to that Talkbacker's point, I the
last two weeks, I've been out and I've been I've
had a couple of trips. I did a podcast in Washington,
DC last week. But what I'll say is, Okay, it's
nice to be in friendly company because everywhere I go
outside of the state, I get made fun of for
my accent.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Do you have an accent? Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:15):
Yeah, I bet the top I bet I've never noticed
your Minnesota.
Speaker 6 (01:18):
We are going to get talkbackers who will say Max
Rymer has the most Minnesotan accent have ever.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
I guarantee it.
Speaker 6 (01:26):
I get made fun of all the time, and hopefully
I'm not alone in that. When if you all travel nationally,
hopefully somebody picks up on your accent, because sometimes.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
It's the first thing I get asked about.
Speaker 7 (01:38):
Well, I've said it before and I will say it again.
Waltz should go, but he needs to be voted out.
Republicans can't seem to get it together to do that.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
Le'll be pause this really quick. So it's so funny.
It's just a little it's a freedom Friday. I'll pull
back the curtain a little bit so I open up
the talkbacks to see the transcript, but I can also
see you know who they're coming from on here. Typically
there are some individuals that have figured out ways to
not give any identifiers whatsoever. That being said, I can
see certain names like this person here. I won't say
(02:10):
what their email is. Typically I just call them special guy.
Before I even read it, I looked at the name
and I went, he's gonna say something about how he
doesn't like Walls, how Walls does need to resign, and
then he's going to go on a rant about how
much Republicans suck.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
And Walts is so bad.
Speaker 7 (02:27):
But the Republicans and Conservatives in general in this state,
their only hope is that our adversary quits. That's our
only hope is so factless in obtaining a victory here.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Factless.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Yeah, and with that attitude, you're right. If everybody had
your attitude, you're absolutely right. But you're not right. I
don't know how many times I have to hammer this point.
You're entitled to your opinion, special guy, I don't have
to agree with it. But we've discussed on the show
that last election and the past, even when the DFL
got the trifecta, these weren't by like mandated by voters'
(03:05):
wide margins. These were incredibly close victories that the Democrats
pulled out, and that is included in last year's election.
And as I keep saying, we need to focus on
voter turnout, Republican turnout. You get just a few percentage points,
a half a percentage point up, and the Republicans can
win elections here. And there's a reason why we have
(03:26):
so many Republican gubernatorial candidates running because that many individuals
recognize that Walls is vulnerable, and they all believe that
they can beat him, and any one of them would
do a better job than Walls. So I just, you know,
I just fundamentally disagree with the premise of his comedy.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
Yeah, And like I said before, I think that the
point today is, obviously there's a political solution. You want
to beat your opponent to the ballot box. We believe
that Tim Walls has certainly more than enough baggage to beat.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
At the ballot box.
Speaker 6 (03:59):
But I think what John is claiming is that in
a vacuum, when you look at the body of work,
the corruption, the obvious fraud, the myriad of things that
have been catastrophic failures in Minnesota, a good leader and
honorable leader would resign.
Speaker 8 (04:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Like, it's it's beyond politics.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
That's why it's It's like when we've had talkbackers chime
in and say, well, Peggy Flanagan would be governor. John's
claim to this morning is that it's beyond it's beyond
the politics.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yeah, yeah, it's one hundred percent beyond the politics. I'm done.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
He needs to resign and I hope that enough voices
will go and join me in calling for Governor Tim
Wallas to resign. Regardless of whether or not you believe
that he actually will, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
It has gone far beyond that.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Now with this new reporting that we have received from
the City Journal that we'll be discussing a little bit
later on in the in the hour. In the meantime,
let's go, let's go here, Hennepin County Attorney Marria Moriarty.
He posted this on X yesterday following statement on President
Trump's calls for political violence and the death to politicians.
(05:09):
This is the Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty posting on
X about Trump, the President of the United States is
calling for the deaths of politicians.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Well not really, that didn't really happen.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
Language has consequences and can unleash terrifying behavior. We saw
political violence this summer that ripped through our community. To
anyone in our community who feels threatened and needs help,
we encourage you to reach out to our office. What
a joke coming from the Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty
to encourage anybody to reach out to her office. Who
needs help, considering that she has put criminal after criminal
(05:44):
after criminal back on the street after going through the
doors of the Hennepin County Attorney courthouses, which has just.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Contributed to the consistent level.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Of crime here and yet here she is going on
about Trump and his calls for political violence and executions.
Speaker 6 (06:01):
It's like you've been defined by violence, lady, serious, you
have you have allowed and enabled violence.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
You love it, So let's reset this.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
This video came out earlier in the week, and it's
one of those moments where I watched the video and
I thought to myself, without going into definitions of treason
and sedition, and I just went.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
This seems really bad.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
Like this seems really bad that Democrats would go and
say these things. I wasn't one hundred percent sure why,
but like this seems like a much bigger deal. And
it took a couple of days and oh, it's turned
into a big deal.
Speaker 9 (06:35):
I'm Senator Alissa Sackin.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Senator Mark Kelly, Representative Chris Deluzio.
Speaker 10 (06:39):
Congress good Lander, Representative Chrissy Hulahan, Congressman Jason Crowe.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
I was a captain in the United States.
Speaker 11 (06:45):
Navy former CIA officer, former Navy, former paratrooper and Army ranger,
former intelligence officer.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
Former Air Force.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
We want to speak directly to members of the military.
Speaker 9 (06:55):
And the intelligence community who take risks each day keep
Americans safe. We know you are on enormous stress and
pressure right now.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Americans trust their military.
Speaker 9 (07:04):
Without trust is at risk.
Speaker 10 (07:05):
This administration is pitting our uniform military.
Speaker 9 (07:08):
And intelligence community professionals against American citizens like us.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
You all swore an oath to protect and defend this constitution.
Speaker 6 (07:16):
Right now, the threats to our constitution aren't just coming.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
From a road from right here at home. Our laws
are clear.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
You can refuse illegal orders.
Speaker 9 (07:25):
You can refuse illegal orders.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
You must refuse illegal orders.
Speaker 9 (07:29):
No one has to carry out orders that violate the law.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
Okay, so let's stop here. We've played this several times
this week. I will say good morning to Grace Keating
from American Experiment, who has joined us in studio.
Speaker 12 (07:41):
Good morning, Grace, Good morning I Nick Dane to Gracie
with my prisons.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Finally, thank you so much for coming in.
Speaker 5 (07:46):
So before we go further on this, we have new
audio from a couple of the individuals who are involved
in that video controversy has been stirred with President Donald
Trump in the comments that he made on X regarding that.
Before we get to that, though, let me play for
you inther clip, I just want to add for the
context on this. So this seems to be spareheaded by
Senator Slotkin. This this whole video in the first place,
(08:09):
wherein these Democrats are attempting they really are. They're attempting
to wedge themselves between our military and law enforcement and
the commander in chief.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
It's not the first time she's done this though.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
Recently during the confirmation hearings for Secretary of Warpeede Hegseth,
she was suggesting that Heagseth commit treason and defy Trump's orders,
and sitting right next to her was Mark Kelly.
Speaker 11 (08:31):
There anything that a commander in chief could ask you
to do with the uniform military that would be in
violation of the US Constitution.
Speaker 13 (08:39):
Sending anybody of any party could give an order that
is against the constitution or against the law, right, Okay?
Speaker 9 (08:45):
So and are you so?
Speaker 11 (08:47):
Are you saying that you would stand in the breach
and push back if you were given an a legal order.
Speaker 13 (08:51):
I start by saying I reject the premise that presidents.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I understand you done your Jenny legal orders, but at all.
Speaker 9 (08:58):
Mike, this isn't a hypothetical.
Speaker 11 (09:00):
Again, You're going to be in charge of three million people,
the active duty that I know you care about, I
believe you care about. So have you been in conversations
about using the active duty in any way, whether it's
setting up in detention camps, policing dangerous cities. Have you
been involved in any of those conversations.
Speaker 13 (09:18):
Certainly I have been involved in conversations relating to doing
things this administration has not, which is secure the southern border.
Speaker 14 (09:27):
Now.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
It's been interesting to see, however, the course of the
past twenty four hours, that this video has been out
for a few days, that the situation has now spiraled,
and you have across the board to every prominent Democrat
you can think of out there just screaming to the
high heavens about how President Donald Trump is calling for
the execution of members of Congress. He initially posted what
(09:51):
he said was seditious behavior punishable by death.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
That was his initial response.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
There was no specificity attached to it outlining, Yeah, it
was just basically saying, if you commit acts of sedition,
that's punishable by death. He did go on on this
true social account and say it's called seditious behavior at
the highest level. Each one of these traders to our
country should be arrested and put on trial. These words
cannot be allowed to stand. We won't have a country anymore.
(10:20):
An example must be set set President Donald J. Trump,
so even that he's calling for a process to ensue
in the wake of their commentary, and again he never
said execute them, which is what they're all claiming right now.
He basically just laid out that seditious behavior is punishable
by death, and just to drive the point home, in
(10:42):
the statute, sedition covers knowingly urging advising counseling members of
the armed forces to disobey lawful orders. That we're gonna
get into more of this coming up in just a moment.
We'll get to your talkbacks as well, but I do
want to get an initial reaction to all of this
contents from our Freedom Friday guest here on Twin City's
(11:02):
News talking representative Max Rymer will start with you your thoughts.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
On Yeah, it seems like to me, at least from
Mark Kelly's standpoint, and at least slotkin standpoint. You have
two swing district or swing state senators who are trying
to just make names for themselves in doing this. The
one thing that I would say, though, is at the
onset of that video, at least Slotkin talks about how
depressed the military is and how much pressure they're under
(11:26):
and just how bad it is under Trump.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
But when you look.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
At approval polls, military confidence, and recruitment and all of
these objective measures have not been I don't think they've
been higher since like nine to eleven happened. That's how
encouraged they are and how down for the job they are.
When you talk about protecting the homeland, protecting our border,
this is what they want to do. And we're not
(11:52):
embroiled in a bunch of foreign wars right now. So
this idea that the military is so depressed under Trump
they don't trust him and they think he's a criminal,
this is going to backfire.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
This whole exercise is going to backfire on them.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
There's something else underneath all of this, which I believe
the Democrats are sort of positioning themselves for, and I'll
explain coming up just after the next break. But Grasa
keating your thoughts on the controversy surrounding this.
Speaker 12 (12:18):
I mean, I just go back to that first response.
I reject the premise. I don't care about any of
the debating and the weird fighting that happens after We're
not in a position where Trump is ordering the military
to do unconstitutional things right, right.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
That hasn't happened, So it is a hypothetical.
Speaker 9 (12:38):
I don't care.
Speaker 5 (12:39):
More of your thoughts coming up, we'll get to more
of our guests this morning, and of course from the
iHeartRadio app. Your talkback's brought to you by Lindahl Realty
here on Twin Cities News Talk at AM eleven thirty
and one oh three five FM. Here on Twin Cities
News Talk, It's a Freedom Friday from the six to
five to one carpet. Next day install studios, we'll share
audio of Caroline Levitt, the White House Press Secretary, talking
(13:04):
about this video released by congressional members of Congress asking
for our military to not engage in illegal orders.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
President Donald Trump said members of Congress should be arrested
and put on trial for seditious behavior after the video
directed towards armed forces about refusing unlawful orders I'm working
off the story here from.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Fox and Again.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
Responding to the video posted on social media by the
members of Congress, including a US Senator Lissa Slotkin of Michigan,
Trump would label the recording seditious behavior that's punishable by death.
Dan Crenshaw. He posted this on X The President is
angry for good reason. Elected officials are telling active duty
service members to defy the commander in chief so order
(13:56):
that are orders which are well within the law. These
elected officials are attempting to undermine the command structure of
the military. Their actions are inexcusable. So before we go
back to more of our guests, and we have some
audio to share. We have Grace keating from American Experiment
Representative Max Raymer, RNC Committeeman Ak Kamara will be in
studio shortly. Let's go back to some of your talkbacks,
(14:16):
your thoughts on this. Brought to you by Lindahl Realty
from the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 15 (14:21):
What makes me laugh is their defense to that video
is that they were just explaining that the military members can.
Speaker 16 (14:29):
Defy illegal ors.
Speaker 15 (14:32):
But Trump was just explaining that the punishment for sedition
is death.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Yep.
Speaker 15 (14:39):
And yet he's the one calling for the deaths, and
they're not new ones calling to disobey the commander in chief.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Make it makes sense, Yeah, it's the Republicans pounds. It's right.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
Democrats do something, Republicans respond, and it's like, look at
how the Republicans responded, not what the Democrats initially said
up front.
Speaker 16 (15:00):
Right.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
Always, that's how and that's how our media cover is
even things that happen here locally.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
I will just say that video because.
Speaker 6 (15:09):
They're coaching it now, they're they're framing it as well.
This video never accused Trump of doing anything illegal. It
was just a video about if he does anything illegal
that military members need to step up.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Well.
Speaker 6 (15:23):
No, the video is an implication that Donald Trump using
the military to enforce our border is illegal.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Well, and to your point, here's Representative Jason Crowe who
backtracked on his comments.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
This is what he had to say.
Speaker 11 (15:36):
So are you saying that there was not necessarily any
particular precipitating event. There is no specific thing out there
that made you decide now was the right time.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
That's right.
Speaker 7 (15:45):
To be clear, We're not calling on folks right now
to debate to to disobey any type of unlawful order.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
Listen to that.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
I have the reason why they're doing this. In just
a moment, I'll share it with you. I want to
go back to the talk back, so let's go here.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
A more than zero from brainerd.
Speaker 6 (16:03):
Wow, didn't have MAGA being traders the United States on
my bingo guard this morning.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
But now if you actually pay attention, Okay.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
Let's stop here just real quick, Eric, how is anybody
being a trader here? I'm just some curious if we're
going to get into specificity, and we need to, you're
putting forward a fairly bold claims, So I would be
curious how anybody in any of the comments being made,
unless you're referring to outside of this show, I would
be very interested how anybody has said anything traitors on
(16:31):
this show to.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
The words the Democrats are saying. They're saying, do not
do illegal orders.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
I thought MAGA was about laws and following the Constitution.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
But I guess not that King Trump wants it.
Speaker 17 (16:44):
But yeah, he probably wants more people to just follow
orders and don't you know, push back.
Speaker 5 (16:51):
But it is a constant struggle for me when it
comes to foes of the show, because I don't know
if they're saying things just to be ridiculous, and if
they really mean them, or if they truly are that.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Stupid, I genuinely do not know.
Speaker 5 (17:07):
So what they're really telling, just for Eric and for
those in the back, what those Democrats are really doing
is they're telling us service members to treat lawful orders
as being unlawful, which means they are telling service members
to not follow lawful orders, which means they're telling service
members to disobey the lawful orders of their commander in chief,
(17:29):
which means they're telling service members to break their oath
to the Constitution and their oath of enlistment, which also
means they're telling service members to engage in some sort
of military coup, which means that those evil Democrats in
Congress are engaging in sedition. How do we know this
because President Donald Trump has never once used an unawful
order to our military. Here's why they're doing it, though,
(17:53):
and this is something that hasn't been talked about.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
H Yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 6 (17:57):
Did I miss sometime in the last two weeks where
I've not been in Did I miss Eric leaving a
talk back praising Donald Trump for releasing the Epstein files.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
I believe?
Speaker 5 (18:08):
So, Yeah, there was actually a comment that Eric made
earlier in the show too that was more pro Trump
as well, so which again goes back to my struggle
that I when it comes to the foes of the
show and whether or not they just want to hear
their own voice or if they legitimately believe the stupid
things that they're sharing via the iHeartRadio app talk.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
About good on him.
Speaker 6 (18:26):
That probably means that TDS is not infected the frontal
cortex just yet of the brain.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
So let me do my quick explanation here of what's
really going on, and then I want to play a
clip from Caroline love At addressing the media about this yesterday,
and then we'll take a short break here on Twin
City's news talk. But this is again this analogy of
separate free speech, the comments being separated here. So we've
made this example before wherein if you have two people
(18:54):
standing on a street corner and one person says it's
okay to kill a Nazi, and then.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
The person next to him goes, hey, that person over.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
There is a Nazi. Both of those comments are protected
by free speech. But if you combine those two when
one person says it's okay to kill a Nazi and
Max Reimer is a Nazi. If I said that, now
I'm in trouble, and now I'm in trouble.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
This is what they're doing here, correct.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
You see, they're saying, hey, military, do not obey illegal orders.
They're not specifying what the illegal orders are. They're leaving
that up to everybody else. Because my speculation is on this,
this is all laying the groundwork for if and when
President Donald Trump moves on Venezuela. For those that are
(19:42):
not paying attention to what's going on right now. We've
obviously talked about on the show how we've been engaging
with drug runners blowing up boats. We've been setting a
lot of military down to the region of Venezuela to
get a grip on what's been taking place with the cartels.
And Trump has been very pointed in his commentary that
he wants to get this to stop, and the potential
(20:02):
of military action there is very very high. My take
on this is that this is why the Democrats have
done this, because they're laying the groundwork saying do not
follow illegal orders.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Guys. We're not saying there's any illegal orders out there, but.
Speaker 5 (20:17):
If and when Trump moves on Venezuela, and you have
other individuals go and say he's doing this illegally. Now
you see the endgame come into play where suddenly their
comments are more substantiated.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
That's what's really going on with all of this.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
So here's Caroline Levitt addressing the press yesterday and we'll
get back to more of your comments on a Freedom
Friday here on Twin City's News Talk this morning.
Speaker 18 (20:39):
A President Trump a fews six Democratic lawmakers of seditious
behavior punishable by death. Just to be clear, does the
president want to execute members of Congress?
Speaker 19 (20:51):
Now, let's be clear about what the president is responding to,
because many in this room want to talk about the
president's response, but not what brought the president to responding
in this way. You have sitting members of the United
States Congress who conspired together to orchestrate a video message
(21:12):
to members of the United States military, to active duty
service members, to members of the National Security Apparatus, encouraging
them to defy the president's lawful orders.
Speaker 4 (21:24):
The sanctity of our military rests on.
Speaker 19 (21:27):
The chain of command, and if that chain of command
is broken, it can lead to people getting killed, it
can lead to chaos, and that's what these members of Congress,
who swore an oath to abide by the Constitution, are
essentially encouraging. We have one point three active duty service
members in this country, and if they hear this radical
(21:47):
message from sitting members of Congress, that could inspire chaos,
and it could incite violence, and it certainly could disrupt
the chain of command. These three members of Congress, I
will also add, knew exactly what they were doing. Look
at Alyssa Slotkins. She's a former member of the CIA.
Mark Kelly was a captain in the US Navy. Maggie
Goodlander was a naval officer, and notably she was also
(22:09):
she is also the wife of Joe Biden's National security
former advisor, Jake Sullivan.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
And so these members knew what they were doing.
Speaker 19 (22:17):
They were leading into their credentials as former members of
our military, as veterans, as former members of the National
Security and apparatus, to signal to people serving under this
commander in Chief, Donald Trump, that you can defy him and.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
You can betray your oath of office.
Speaker 19 (22:33):
That is a very very dangerous message, and it perhaps
is punishable by law.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
I'm not a lawyer.
Speaker 19 (22:40):
I'll leave that to the Department of Justice in the
Department of War to decide.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
It is a Freedom Friday on Twin Cities News Talk
Am eleven thirty one oh three five FM from the
sixty five to one Carpet plus Next Day Install Studios.
RNC committeeman is stuck in traffic.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
I know this.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
Could he sent me a photograph? Oh okay, I guess
he wanted me to have physical evidence. I told him
to just get on the median and just blow past everybody,
but he didn't listen to me. Max Rhymer is in studio.
Good morning on a Freedom Friday. We have Grace Keating
from American Experiment, also in studio on a Freedom Friday. Hello,
how did to give to the Maxico yesterday?
Speaker 9 (23:15):
It was incredible. We had a record setting year.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
We raised more money than ever before.
Speaker 12 (23:19):
If anyone listening helped donate the center of the American Experiment,
thank you so very very much.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Give to Max Day was good for me too.
Speaker 6 (23:28):
Every year I every year I post Give to Max Day,
I removed the the from it, and then I post
my venmo nights. I made one dollar and three cents
this year, and then I more.
Speaker 17 (23:40):
Than I got.
Speaker 6 (23:41):
I had someone requests like twenty four dollars from me too,
So it kind of backfire.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Somebody's gonna coll somebody's gonna claim corruption, like they won't
close that.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
They won't get mad at Walls for the fraud. They
won't get mad at Walls for not calling for the
special session on gun control. They won't get mad at
Walls for lying. They won't get mad at Walls for
your tax dollars going through autism and fraud and he
getting sent to sent to terrorist organizations.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
But they will get kicked off at.
Speaker 5 (24:07):
You for scamming people on Give to the Max Day
and getting a dollar.
Speaker 6 (24:11):
Representative Max Rhymer posted his venmo on his personal Facebook page.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
It's gonna be a lead story up on the Minnesota Reformer, right.
Uh my wife Melinda, she texted me a moment ago,
so this just makes me laugh. There's a friend of
the show. Her name is Veronica. I'll give her a
shout out, so good morning Ronic if you're listening. I
don't know what the context of how this came about
(24:39):
on Facebook in the threat, I don't know what the
original post was, but Veronica had commented to Melinda with
her name and said, just I love listening to John Justice.
I assume must have been a video of mine or
something like that, and Melinda responded, thanks, smiley face, I
will let him know, to which Veronica replied, are you affiliated?
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Melinda? I guess you could say that. The responder going,
I'm his better half? She said, Oh cool, I love
listening to a show, so yeah.
Speaker 17 (25:10):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (25:11):
In Veronica's defense, Melinda has Lejudice not Justice on there,
so people wouldn't know that.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
The name situation ronic.
Speaker 6 (25:18):
Are you just messaging? Are you just messaging random people
with that last name? Just checking in if you're related
to John Justice.
Speaker 5 (25:27):
I made a comment a moment ago regarding Trump threatening Slot.
Can other members of Congress with jail time over video
to military?
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Can I stop really quick? In my apologies, I should have.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
Addressed this the first time this came out of Fox
two in Detroit, But the headline in and of itself
is wrong. This wasn't Trump threatening Slot. Can nuther members
of Congress with jail time over a video to the military.
It should have led with members of Congress post video
asking military to defy Trump orders, to which Trump responds,
I mean that's but again, that's the Republican's pounce version
(25:59):
of the headline you get with these stories.
Speaker 6 (26:01):
Right, It's kind of a classic instantaneous hypocrisy that you
get to see in motion, right, because actually, what's happening.
You can't say that these people are just outlining a hypothetical,
but Trump is directly accusing these people because Trump just
outlined a hypothetical in the law. Right, so you have
one they are given the benefit of the doubt that
(26:24):
Donald Trump is not given by the media right now.
And it's it's like this instantaneous hypocrisy that you get
to witness from our media.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
I let me go here.
Speaker 5 (26:33):
We had that talkback brought to you by Lyndall Realty
from the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Eric from up north. Eric, Right, we have a response
to that.
Speaker 14 (26:43):
Let's go here, Good morning, Just a random guy from
a greater Minnesota here.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
Yeah. Eric is a true believer. He believes what he says.
Speaker 14 (26:53):
He's not saying it for shock value. He's that guy
that sits in the corner at happy hour that nobody
talks to. But then that randomount of towner goes up
starts talking to him. Sounds like he's a conservative, and wow,
you know, hey, we have a lot in common and
then he turns on the crazy and they're like, okay, and.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
That's his real voice. By the way, have a good day.
Speaker 6 (27:14):
I love this a very specific scenario. There's a whole
mythology that's forming.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Around there. That was a very greater Minnesota story, BRAINERD.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
I made the analogy a moment ago of what the
Democrats did in this video, and it's this. It's the
it's the free the free speech separation, wherein they're telling
military to defy illegal orders without identifying what the illegal
orders are. And they're doing this to set the stage
so that when other individuals want to point out something
that they believe our illegal orders from President Donald Trump,
(27:48):
then you're gonna mentally go and combine the two. There's
a free speech analogy that I've used before, and it
is one person can go and say it's okay to
kill a Nazi. The person standing next to them can
go in points to an individual standing there and say
that person's a Nazi. But if a person standing there
says both it's okay to kill a Nazi and that
guy's a Nazi, now you've got a free speech issue.
(28:12):
I want to go here because I made the analogy
with Max a moment ago here on Twin City's News.
Speaker 17 (28:17):
Talk, John, I'm pretty sure in your example with Max
and the Nazi statement, Max would actually have to be
in the vicinity where he would be subject to imminent
harmh ic. That's another leg of free yor protected speech.
(28:39):
That's right, requirement, that's right.
Speaker 5 (28:41):
And with Sam in the Master Control booth and Grace
as my witness, when I made that analogy, I actually
pointed right that Max.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Because he was right there. He's in the vicinity, he
was in the room, he was like in the in
the room. I gotta say that I am a little
bit uncomfortable with how often Max a Nazi is being used.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 7 (29:01):
Max.
Speaker 5 (29:02):
Uh Well, you know, I could have done the example
with Grace, But you know, sometimes I feel.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Like maybe Grace doesn't look super airyan you.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
Know, yeah, and I might be I don't know her,
you know, her sensibility regarding those things.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
And I know you much longer.
Speaker 16 (29:17):
I know.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah, what's up, No big deal, let's you take it.
Speaker 6 (29:21):
Let's voice the Nazi label on Max, sitting legislator.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
I'm doing Grace a favor, that's all.
Speaker 16 (29:28):
Let's go here. Those Democrat traders calling and sweatcun and
the other reprehensible traders that called for American service members
to commit treason real quick.
Speaker 5 (29:44):
If we're slut kid, if we're making sure that we're
pronouncing things appropriately, I think he might have switched a
couple of letters there.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
And I'm sure it was a mistake. That was an
honest mistake. I'm I'm I'm sure.
Speaker 6 (29:57):
I hope.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
I don't think he meant it. I don't think.
Speaker 16 (30:00):
Is calling and s what can and the other reprehensible
traders that called for American service members to commit treason.
They can be called back on active duty and they
can face a court martial for their actions. I'd like
to see that happen. They should be thrown in Love,
which is a military prison in the United States Military.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Very serious. Thank you for the talk back at Yeah,
it's helpful.
Speaker 6 (30:29):
It's helpful to know, you know, from someone who would
know how that process works.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
Good morning, Freedom Friday crew. Good morning.
Speaker 4 (30:37):
I have a question for Eric.
Speaker 8 (30:39):
Are you the same guy that's on Joe Pegg's radar.
You called into a show yesterday afternoon and you finally
hung up on your phone call with the trash you
were saying, you apparently have a history of calling into
him and he's cut you off, but somehow you got
through the phone lines, just wondering, have a great weekend everyone.
Speaker 6 (31:01):
Actually, I happen to be listening to the Joel peg
Show at the very moment she's referencing, and a little different.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
In the voice.
Speaker 6 (31:08):
Okay for sure, But apparently Joel Peggs has a full
of the show problem as well, where there are people
who are changing their numbers and still getting in and
saying they want to talk about something different and then
going off about how bad Trump is.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
See, I can put people in time out on the talkbacks.
I don't think they realize it though, So there's a
way where I can put people in fifteen day timeout
so I don't see any of their stuff. And it
helps because sometimes I just get spammed and I'm like
I'm done, I can't. I just I'll get like ten
an hour from one person and it just takes up
two of my time. So I just there's a thing
that I can do to put him in time out.
(31:44):
And so it's funny because then they're in time out
for fifteen days. But inevitably it's like, oh, fifteen days
is up, because suddenly now I get hammered with a
bunch of talkbacks and oh is that person again?
Speaker 2 (31:53):
So one more quick.
Speaker 5 (31:54):
Point on Trump threatening Slotkin and other members of Congress
with jail time. One of the members of Congress that
was in that video, Representative Chrissy Hulahan, a Democrat out
of Pennsylvania. She's now trying to walk all this back
as well. I think some of them understand that they
may have stepped in it with us, and they're becoming
increasingly uncomfortable with the amount of attention that they've received.
Speaker 10 (32:17):
Earlier today, the President of the United States used his
platform to call for my arrest and even to threaten
violence against me, specifically death by hanging. Why because I
joined five other duly elected members of Congress who have
served in the military or intelligence services in recording a
simple message to our armed forces. Our message to them
(32:39):
was remember your oath, follow lawful orders, refuse unlawful ones,
uphold the Constitution above all else. Each of us who
has participated has previously served this nation with honor.
Speaker 9 (32:52):
And the fact that the President respons.
Speaker 5 (32:54):
This is a let me perfectly care clare about what
we were saying and why just in case there's any
confusion with threats is.
Speaker 10 (33:00):
Really chilling, and it reveals far more about his authoritarian
instincts than it does about anything that we set. In fact,
he made our case for us. But let me be
clear about something else. Political intimidation and threats of violence
are not leadership, and they will not silence those of
us who believe in the rule of law and who
actually respect our military. I stand proudly with my colleagues
(33:23):
and to the men and women who are currently serving.
Your oath is to the Constitution, not to any individual,
federal law, international law, and the Uniform Code of Military SHP.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
I'm done. It is wah wah wah, wah wah.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
What they did is that, in my opinion, it actually
is insulting to our members of our military to think
that members of our military wouldn't do already with what
they are, you're suggesting that they that they go and do.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
I mean, that's another aspect of this as well.
Speaker 5 (33:54):
You know, why don't you give some credit where credit
is due to the brave men and women in our
armed forces to understand that they understand the difference between
right and wrong and wouldn't go and follow through with egregious, lawful,
egregious orders that would be illegal and in no way,
shape or form would Trump ever go and do that
and there and and and I fully believe and I
(34:16):
will and I'll I will, you know, do the He's
a friend of mine, Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth. Not
for a moment do I believe that there is any
situation where Pete Hegseth would go and sign off on
anything remotely illegal that would be suggested or ordered by
(34:37):
by our commander in chief.
Speaker 6 (34:39):
This is not that kind of He cares too much
the rank and file, the boots on the ground military.
That's that's why he's in that position. And you're not
going to have him go and put them in a
position like that. And this whole notion of I'm not
saying you did it, but if you did it, it's
it's a total joke. I I I just I think
(35:01):
it's disgusting that they've framed it this way. And now
I don't know, I just it's it's extremely frustrating, I
guess because I also trust Pete haig Seth. I know
him personally, and if if he cares about anything, it
is the troops.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
Yeah, and if you look.
Speaker 12 (35:18):
At the way this story has been covered, it's such
a good reminder why we live in such a divided country.
If you look around at your neighbors and wonder how
they keep voting this way? How do they not freak
out over what's going on in our country? This is
why we we live in a system where half of
the media in this country covers things in an incredibly
(35:40):
biased way and consistently runs cover for one party in particular.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
That's why let's.
Speaker 5 (35:47):
Go back to the iHeartRadio app on a Freedom Friday.
Your talkback's brought to you by Lindall Realty.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
Businessman Ak Kamara owns a delivery company called on Time
Delivery Service, but that only applies to his business, not
his personal card. Ak Kamara, I love you and you
are a may not be a national treasure, but you
(36:14):
are a state treasure or Minnesota.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Let's talking back of the day right there. It's a
backhanded compliment.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
You are a well, not a national treasure, let's not
go too far, but certainly a treasure for Minnesota.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
So reminds me of talk back said, I get no
John Goods show. So far, so far, so far, screw
it up. A lot of time left.
Speaker 16 (36:40):
Somebody needs to ask Max how he would feel if
he hadn't eaten breakfast this morning.
Speaker 6 (36:46):
I haven't eaten breakfast this morning, so I feel I
feel Okay.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Does anybody know?
Speaker 16 (36:50):
I don't know?
Speaker 9 (36:50):
Do you know what he's doing?
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Do you know what he's talking about? I don't know, Sam,
Do you know what he's you know? No, Grace, no nothing? Okay,
what about this one?
Speaker 16 (36:58):
Hey, Max? Just a heads up.
Speaker 14 (36:59):
You kind of sound like the fat kid off of
the cartoon Bob's Burger.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
What what is going on?
Speaker 4 (37:05):
What did you do?
Speaker 2 (37:05):
I'm right here, you do. I've been listening to you
this whole time. I've been staring at you. You talk.
Speaker 6 (37:09):
Hey, I'll have to watch Bob's Burger.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
All right, thank you all, Thank you all.
Speaker 13 (37:17):
Max.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
The nazis getting lots of compliments today.
Speaker 6 (37:21):
Get that drop, please don't please, don't get that white
liberal socialist crowd. All right, I'm gonna leave.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Rut my cellphone.
Speaker 5 (37:39):
Millions of taxpayer dollars have been funneled to a terrorist
organization in Somalia using autism claims through medicaidd. I can't
believe that autism treatment centers spiked in the States, with
many opened up by the Smaldi community. Autism claims and
the all community then rose to triple the state average,
(38:04):
causing claims in payments to searge. Some Allians then use
the money to fund the Somali base to terror group
Al Shabab. This is a lengthy investigative report out of
City Journal. The largest funder of Al Shabab is the
Minnesota taxpayer. We're gonna break down coming up in just
a moment some details from the story how some of
the state's welfare funds ended up in the hands of
(38:26):
a terror group. And listen, this this isn't just like
a singular allegation. These are all coroborated by second and
third party, independent sources of each other getting into your
tax dollars being funneled to a terrorist organization overseas. And
it's why I kicked off the show saying that enough's enough.
(38:47):
We need for Governor Tim Walls to resign. And as
I said at the top of the show, I've posted
this on.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
X this morning.
Speaker 5 (38:53):
I hope you will join me in calling for Governor
Tim Walls to resign. If enough voices up and say
Governor Tim Walls you need to resign because of all
of this. We've gone beyond this just being an electoral issue.
Typically that's where I would go handle this at the
ballot box, but this has gone far beyond that now,
even including the fact that he failed his own party
(39:16):
in not calling the special session on gun control, which
he said he was going to do taking advantage of
the situation regarding the shooting at the Catholic church, wherein
he said he would call on gun control for gun reforms,
and he just failed to do so.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
He failed his own his own party.
Speaker 5 (39:30):
So I hope you'll join me in calling for Governor
Tim Walls to resign. With that, I want to go
back to the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 20 (39:36):
You talk about getting involved, like the people in Great
Britain that are marching the streets because they're sick.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
Of the way I didn't say that the.
Speaker 20 (39:43):
Illegal immigrants are flooding their country. Why don't we do
something with Walls. You can get the center of the
American experiment. You can get Alpha News and have them
start something at the state Capitol where we can all
go with sign about the corruption and the money that's
being wasted and start something there and hopefully make a change.
Speaker 5 (40:06):
Let me address those comments because I think there's an
effective way to do what I'm asking this morning and
what I hope will occur with calling for Governor Tim
Walls to resign without having to go the route of
mass mobilization of bodies, which could be successful. There's another
way to do this and still achieve the same outcome.
So we'll talk about this coming up. We'll dive into
(40:27):
the details of the largest funder of the Al Shabab
terrorist organization, being you, the Minnesota taxpayer. More with our
guests this morning, Grace Keating from American Experiment ak Kamara
should be in here shortly in Representative Max Rymer on
a Freedom Friday here on twin Citay's News Talk AM
eleven thirty and one oh three five FM.
Speaker 6 (40:44):
Good morning, and I love your show.
