Speaker 1 (00:11):
All right, we're going to do a talkback rundown here.
Got a lot of great comments that rolled in based
off of this opinion piece out of the Minnesota Reformer
I was sharing with you, and it's good to hear
all sides of what is taking place right now. Tomsey

(00:31):
Warfa opinion, don't blame the entire Somali community for the
deeds of some bad actors. Minnesota values, not fears, must
lead us through this moment in which fraud cases have
led to some ugly and untrue descriptions of the Somali community.
So we're going to get to your thoughts here in
just a moment because I got it. Like I said,
I got a lot of great comments coming in. Also

(00:52):
have more audio to share from Caroline Levitt. She was
discussing this yesterday as well as we continue the show
from the six five to one carpet Next Day install Studios.
So yesterday the whistleblower account at Minnesota Underscore DHS, the
Minnesota Department of Human Services employees, their account ended up

(01:13):
being suspended. Bill Lawn from Center of the American Experiment
was one like others Dustin Gregie, Alpha News who've had
conversations with the individuals that run this account, confirmation independent
confirmation that there are indeed hundreds of Minnesota DHS employees
that are contributing to this account. Bill Wrights, in my

(01:38):
last conversation with this account yesterday, they expressed fear over
retaliation regarding their explosive post placing the blame for fraud
on Minnesota Governor Tim Wallas. We covered this yesterday on
the show in the seven o'clock hour. Be sure to
check out the podcast hour two from a Monday on
the iHeartRadio app if you missed it. Bill goes on

(01:59):
to say, when I Want checked that post before the
account's suspension had received more than thirty six million views,
Apparently they were directly over the target. Now they did
update later on, the account was back online minus the
blue check mark that they had, and now they have
the status of community excuse me commentary account. So you know,

(02:22):
clearly there were individuals not happy. In my opinion, there
were individuals not happy of what this account was saying,
trying to get them thrown off of X And you
can only do the You can only have so many
on most social media platforms, you can only have so
many complaints until the social media platform will end up

(02:45):
taking action right or wrong. Thankfully, they posted after their
account went back online these comments. As many are aware,
where we were permanently suspended several hours ago, we are
backup doing no small part to many of you and
the support you've given us. We are grateful and moved
by your support. We originally started an X account in

(03:08):
October of twenty twenty two, which we received many threats over.
It was finally suspended in March of twenty twenty three.
We stated or we started a new X account because
we thought we had a worthwhile message. It's actually quite
stressful to tweet because we anticipate and expect retaliation. It's
the tim Walls way. In fact, in the last forty

(03:30):
eight hours, we received numerous threats that left us wondering
if we can safely post. We foreshadowed something would happen
to our X account.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Two.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
That being said, we are thankful for those who supported us.
We're here to try to approve Minnesota no other agenda.
Contrary to popular belief, your support is what keeps us
going and we can't thank you enough. So that is
from the at Minnesota Underscore DHS account. I would definitely
go and follow that account. All right, let's get to
some of your comments based off that opinion piece that
I shared from the Minnesota Reformer.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Hey John, John, from my Sandy, this Somali sympathizer that
you're talking about has it all wrong. Nobody that I've
listened to or heard talk about this issue, this broad issue,
has said all Samali's are to blame. We only want
the rule of law enforced. This guy is saying nothing
but a word salad with no substance.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
This is just a word salad with no substance.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
I'm sorry, John, I'm going to call Bravo Sierra. Every
single person who says it's not all Somalis also thinks
it's all gun owners, it's all Christians, it's all white males.
They've set the parameters that we're going to blame whole groups.
All right, your system is accepted, your conditions are accepted.
So I mean, come on now, your hypocrisy is obvious. Thanks.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Have a good day, Hey John, good show this morning.
You know, just something to think about.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
You know, this is you know, we do live in
a pretty unique place here in Minnesota, and I think
folks should be a little bit outraged and shouldn't be
a partisan issue, and it's this deal. You know, you've
got politicians that are more hooked on themselves.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
They should be nonpartisan.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
And my guess is that when we get to the
bottom of this, it's the Italians later.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Good morning, John.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Democrats are not big on collective guilt. They want to
judge everybody as an individual unless you're a gun owner.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Am I right on that?

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah, a lot of a lot of comments rolling in
along those same lines, John.

Speaker 7 (05:44):
Let's not forget that it's been widely reported recently that
it's about one percent to the Minnesota population is of
Somali descent. Now, if they're responsible for seventy six percent
of the fraud, that makes that problem, in my eyes,
exponentially worse.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Well, and there's there's a way to go and approach
to this to just make sure to take care of
the problem, and that is making sure you take care
of the problem. If we're going to get to root causes,
you can't ignore the facts of what was just laid
out in that post. The way that you take action
is through accountability. You don't singly go and target anybody.

(06:21):
There's two distinct there's two distinct things here, there's a
conversation getting to the root cause of why this is
taking place and why you have the fraud being perpetuated
by such a majority of one particular community. And this
is what was discussed in the New York Times article
is posted by breitbarton other outlets. The culture individuals are

(06:43):
raised in when they come here to America, here to Minnesota,
and they're presented with these programs that are so ripe
to be taken advantage of. So when you want to
get to sort of the root causes, you have to
point to the facts. There's nothing racial about that. It's
just the facts of the situation in how you deal
with it, that's where the potential racism could come in,

(07:04):
and that's where it's not going to happen. You just
go into force the law, you hold people accountable, you
don't turn a blind eye.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
And that's what's been happening.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
That's what DHS. That's what the DHS employees have been saying.
Too many times. The fraud was identified, potential fraud was identified,
red flags, concerns and explosions of funds being requested, And
what we're hearing is that those requests, those concerns were

(07:33):
falling on deaf ears, and I've heard the same thing.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
All year long.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
I don't go on the air and report a lot
of what people tell me unless I have, you know,
second and third sources.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
A lot of times it's just hearsay.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Now, I have my own standards that I work off of,
But I've heard from a lot of people this year
who've been saying the same thing that that DHS account
associated with. Apparently employees working under Governor Tim Walls have
been saying it's pretty much every single time we talk
about this issue, I have somebody reaching out anonymously going,
you know what, I spotted this fraud, I brought it

(08:08):
to my superior's attention, and they didn't care.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
John John Fromisani again, if the DHS whistleblowers are to
be believed that Waltz knew about this fraud and not
only ignored it, but instructed those whistleblowers to hide it
and cover it up, walt should be subject to criminal prosecution.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Of course, and that would require that being discovered and
that being true. And this goes back to Treasury Secretary
Besent saying yesterday that the federal government will be launching
an investigation into fraudulent tax dollars being sent overseas, your
tax dollars overseas to fun terrorist organizations. That should be

(08:52):
the opening into the federal government doing an extensive investigation
of the fraud here in Minnesota, because the only way
that wherever going to find out if those claims are
true is through that type of investigation.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Hey, one of guys Bruce and Shockby.

Speaker 8 (09:09):
I may not have heard the whole thing, but it
sounded like that writer that John is quoting said that
Tom Petters didn't get any scrutiny, but he certainly did.
He's serving a fifty year prison sentence for his role
in that Ponzi schemer, for being the orchestrator of it,
so he didn't escape anything.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Have a good one, Good morning, John.

Speaker 9 (09:30):
Say, with respect to the editorial talking about you hit
the nail on the head. With respect to liberals and Democrats,
they never talk about the facts. It's always generalities emotion.
They never talk about the facts, and that's the key,
and that's why they need to go.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Thank you, have a great day coming up Fox nine.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Governor Walls facing criticism local coverage as allegations heat up
as the campaign also heats up. I'll leave you with
this to take a quick break here on Twin Cities
News Talk. Here's a little bit more from Caroline Levitt
yesterday talking about.

Speaker 10 (10:05):
This issue and jeopardize the safety of law abiding American citizens.
In fact, according to a new bombshell report from The
New York Times, so Molly and migrants in Minnesota have
defrauded nearly one billion dollars and taxpayer funded benefits under
Democrat Governor Waltz's leadership. President Trump is putting an end

(10:26):
to this dangerous America Last approach. His position is rooted
in common sense and the wake of last week's atrocity.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Hi.

Speaker 11 (10:39):
John Check from Savo's Park. Nobody's mentioned in Keith Ellison
at least I'm not hearing that much. Let's not forget him.
Is it he supposing to be investigating this. He's the
top law enforcement from the state. Give me a break.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
We discussed that a bit yesterday on the show Twin
Cities News Talk Am eleven thirty one oh three five
FM from the sixty five to one Carpet plus Next
Day Install studios. But navigating these issues on the national level,
in my opinion, it's best not to get to nuance
isn't the right word. Keith Ellison is a part of this.

(11:18):
Lieutenant Governor Peggy Finigan is a part of this. But
in terms of the national commentary answer to the idea
of you know, keep it simple stupid. IM not saying
this to you. I'm just saying that the sentiment we're
talking about the top and all of this falls under
Governor Tim Walls, and that's where the focus is going
to be. Locally, we can certainly spend more time on

(11:39):
Keith Ellison, but there hasn't been a lot attached in
the current commentary to Keith Ellison at all, which is
why he's been largely absent from the commentary to that point.
Let's go here to the iHeartRadio app brought to you
by Lyndall Realty.

Speaker 7 (11:55):
Hi, John Check, Oh.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Sorry, that's the wrong, that's the wrong.

Speaker 12 (11:59):
Keith Ellison one the right one, ag Joe and I
missed the first hour or so of the show this morning,
but I was wondering if you had discussed the tapes
that were leaked showing that Keith Allison pledged his support
for the Somali fronsters in exchange for campaign.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Donations, so that reporting it was a weird post yesterday
from American Experiment. So that got posted yesterday online and
it was like it had the banner of breaking and
had the little siren and stuff on it.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
That goes all the way back to April.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
That is not new news by any by by any stretch.

Speaker 13 (12:36):
I missed the very beginning of that.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Who was the talkbacker the left?

Speaker 13 (12:39):
That one?

Speaker 14 (12:40):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (12:41):
That was Duke Duke Duke.

Speaker 13 (12:43):
My dvice to was go back and podcast the first
hour available on thatheart radio app.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
There's There's There's that too, since you missed the first hour.
Since he missed the first hour, I didn't discuss it
in the first hour of the show, but I do
see your point there.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
I got you.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
That coverage, though again from American Experiment, was from much
earlier this year. We talked about it on the show.
It didn't go much of anywhere. It was reposted yesterday.
It is relevant to the current situation that we're dealing
with and is worth revisiting. But that is not That
is not new news. So thank you for giving me

(13:21):
the opportunity though, to bring it up on the show.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
John. Don't you sometimes get a little jealous of the Democrats.
I mean, you spend hours of show prep coming up
with intellectual analysis, fact based observation. Whereas if you were
a Democrat, to every problem, to every issue, to everything,
it's Trump's fault. How easy does that intellectual exercise become

(13:46):
it's Trump's fault.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
No, Alison, I'm not jealous at all. I liked me.
Isn't the title of the John Candy documentary right now
on Amazon? On Amazon? I haven't watched you. Isn't that
what it is?

Speaker 13 (13:57):
It is?

Speaker 4 (13:58):
I like me?

Speaker 13 (13:59):
So one of my things Thanksgiving traditions, I'll do. I've
watched Planes, Trains and Nomobiles, which is one of John
Candy's best movies. And yeah, that one's just a knife
to the heart. Man, if you ever seen that movie.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
Yeah, actually I watched it.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
I watched that over in Thanksgiving break, which reminds me
I need to put it up on my letterbox, accunt,
because I forgot to forgot to put that on my
list of items to watch. You can find me on
letterbox by the way, if you're curious what it is
that I'm watching. I've been being I've been very consistent
well since the beginning of October. You can go there
and see what I've been watching, and I've been raiding
the movies and stuff on there as well, So I got.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
To add that to the list. I'm glad that you
went and brought it up.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
But to the talkbackers point, no, I don't get I
understand your point. I don't get jealous. I'm happy to
do this work and to do it the right way,
and it makes me feel good about what I do,
because that would be really, really lazy commentary. All right,
we're running behind. I do want to get to this
Wall story from Fox nine. We have your talk back
of the day coming up, Sean Duffy warning Tim Walls

(14:58):
to provoke the illegal licenses or lose highway funding. We'll
give you details on that. It's coming up next on
Twin City's News Talk AM eleven thirty and one oh
three five FM.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
So I'm got a bragging camp for just a moment here.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
On Twin City's News Talk from the six five to
one carpet Next Day Install Studios, we have your talk
back of the day coming up in just a moment, Sam,
you need to be listening.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
By the way, I have a remote start. Oh, I
had no idea I didn't think that I did. I
happened to.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
I was perusing Facebook a moment ago, and I'm on
one of the I'm on the Kia Stinger owners group
for him. There was a woman on here wondering why
her remote start won't work, and she's showing her keyfob.
I'm like, wait a second, I have that button. Oh,
actually didn't know if I had the button. I'm like,

(15:58):
do I have that button?

Speaker 4 (16:00):
I was like, oh, hey, look at that.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
You know.

Speaker 13 (16:02):
Do you have a Kia app where you can do
a remote start on your phone?

Speaker 4 (16:05):
No, I haven't done that yet. Okay, I haven't done
that yet.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
I know that is an available option, but I have
not mine.

Speaker 13 (16:11):
For geep, they make you pay for that features you
can get the app.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
It is so stupid. You gotta do a monthly thing.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
So dumb the amount of stuff that you have to
pay subscriptions for on a new car, It's it's the
stupidest thing I've ever heard. Yes, Like, I'm glad because
mine's twenty twenty three. It's the last year that they
made them.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
So like it.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
I think I was like right on the cusp of
having to go and get all these added services and features.
It's that's I just give me you just give me
a break already. I'll have to try that when I
leave today.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
That's pretty fun.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
All right, Let's get to back for more relevant matters,
including your talk back of the day. Your talk back
of the day from the iHeartRadio App is brought to
you by Mini Leaf mini leaf dot com, AM, I
N N E l e AF dot com.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Sam, this one's for you, Hey.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
John, Sam?

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Where can I go to listen to episodes that I missed?

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Is there some sort of like recording that you have
that I can listen to later on the road?

Speaker 14 (17:07):
Right?

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Thanks, have a.

Speaker 13 (17:08):
Great day, I Sam. John just points at me like,
go ahead tell him. I just you know what, I'm
the only reason I'm such an advocate for the podcast
is that way. I'm glad somebody's listening because I put
a lot of work into publishing those podcasts. So it
makes me happy that other people are taking advantage of it.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
That's all. Yeah. iHeartRadio App.

Speaker 13 (17:29):
Yes, iHeart Radio App, pre iHeart Radio App updated. Put
News Talk is your number one pre set Here you go,
nicely done?

Speaker 4 (17:37):
See I listen?

Speaker 8 (17:40):
Agree?

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Would you say?

Speaker 15 (17:41):
I'm plays trains and Automobiles, then Uncle Bucks and then
The Great Outdoors.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Love them. Yeah, I may have to put Uncle Buck
in the Great Outdoors on my list. I haven't watched
those in decades. It's been a long long time.

Speaker 11 (17:54):
John, did you watch the Earnhart docu series on Prime?

Speaker 4 (17:56):
I thought it was pretty good. Yeah, it was solid
that one. Enjoyed that one quite a bit.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Right now, I've been working my way through the The
Icon series on Amazon where they go through and they
do extensive breakdowns of film franchises. So I just wrapped
up The Lord of the Rings, a fraud of the Rings,
so that makes sense.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
The Star Wars one is fantastic.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
I've watched that a few times, and then right now
I'm in the middle of watching The Spider Man one.
So it's usually been on the background, in the background
when I've been prepping for the prepping for the show.
When I prep for the show, I find items like this.
Fraud allegations in Minnesota are drawing national attention, putting Governor
Tim Walls under scrutiny as the campaign for his third
term heats up. Of course, this is all after the

(18:45):
Department of Human Services employees tried to warn national officials
about the fraud that they say is happening under Walls's watch. Again,
this is Fox nine coverage. Corn Hogarden has the story
regarding this. Here's a bit of their coverage on Saturday.

Speaker 15 (19:00):
Over the weekend, the New York Times published its report
that essentially said that Minnesota has been swamped with fraud
under Walls's watch. There was an account on x that
tried to amplify that reporting. They got more than thirty
seven million views with a post that essentially said that

(19:20):
Governor Walls has stonewalled that investigation.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Kim Wallas has a problem.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
I think when a lot of people are thinking is
either he didn't know and it's a problem, or he
should have known.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
As governor is his job all right?

Speaker 16 (19:37):
So korin, let's talk about that social media post receiving
thirty seven million views. But that post also disappeared today,
So what do we know about who's behind that and
where did it go? And the rest of the story there?

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Yeah, some of that is still a mystery. Kelsey.

Speaker 15 (19:54):
This is an account on x formerly known as Twitter,
and it claims to be a Department of Human Services employees.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
It says that it represents four.

Speaker 15 (20:05):
Hundred and eighty of them, which is about six or
seven percent of the workforce. The Department of Human Services
here in Minnesota has about seventy one hundred folks. But anyway,
it did post this this post that got so much attention,
it went viral, and as we were investigating that, it
suddenly disappeared. The whole account was suspended by X no

(20:27):
word on why. It did eventually come back a few
hours later, and suddenly the account had a different name.
They did post about that, and you know that they're
now not claiming to be the department, or at least
they don't look like the Department of Human Services anymore.
But I reached out to them, tried to get comment
directly from them, but they do seem to very much

(20:50):
value their anonimity. And you know, I did also talk
to the governor about this, or the Governor's office, and
they told me that quote, they don't know who's running
that account, but they're confident it's not representative of a
large group of employees. Nor is there any merit to
their claims. Who said the US Attorney and the BCA
would be working with them if that was actually real.

Speaker 16 (21:14):
But it was widely shared and there is this national
spotlight on Governor Walls and the issue of fraud in Minnesota.
So how is the governor talking about the issue?

Speaker 15 (21:25):
Yeah, he did try to control the spotlight that was
on him from the national media a little bit today
this weekend by going on Meet the Press, but even
there he had to answer questions about fraud, and essentially
what he said is that Minnesota is a very attractive state.
It's a prosperous state with generous people, a tripa, a
bond rating, and that they are investigating and going after fraudsters,

(21:49):
I would say, though his critics would argue that was
definitely much too little and much too late.

Speaker 16 (21:55):
All right, So a story that will continue to follow.
Thank you Korn Hoggard at the Capital tonight.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Again, that's coverage there from Fox News, and nice job
on the coverage. I'll give credit where credit is due
on that.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
The assessment from Goren there was right.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
He didn't say as much, but you know the takeaway
was Walls is spinning on this and my prediction is
going to be though here he'll either one disappear from
the national media spotlight altogether because that Meet the President
interview did not go well over the weekend or two,
he'll end up heading out of town, and he's done
that quite a bit as of late as well, to

(22:30):
avoid scrutiny.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
It was a mistake.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
My expectation was that Walls is saying there's no credibility
to the claims being made by the at Minnesota underscore
DHS account could very well prove to be a costly
mistake for him if these investigations do move forward and
end up revealing and substantiating the claims that are made

(22:55):
by those apparent employees of DHS. And as I've mentioned
since the start of the show, the dem policies, the
Democrat policies are quickly, relatively speaking, being exposed for their
complete lack of sustainability, in other words, failures. The Department
of Transportation giving Minnesota an ultimatum illegally issued licenses given

(23:22):
to non domiciled commercial drivers or face losing thirty million
in federal highway funding. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
audit found that one third of Minnesota's non domiciled commercial
driver's license were issued illegally. The Transportation Department shared this yesterday.
I'm working off of any of the story here from

(23:42):
Daily Wire Minnesota will be given thirty days to revoke
the illegally issued licenses, according to Transportation Secretary Duffy, or
else they're going to have to pay a significant price.
And Walls is not one to like to go and
cave on issues like this, and this doesn't seem as
if this is one that he can stall on like

(24:05):
he did when the government shutdown was taking place and
we had the funding issues here in the state and
they didn't want to go and move forward on particular
issue items than they were.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
Keith Ellison specifically.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Was going and blaming the administration and the shutdown for
adhering to Title nine violations. So it'd be very interesting
to see if Walls is forced to respond or ends
up having any comments on this. The move comes after
a number of reports showing that illegal foreign drivers caused
deadly crashes, prompting the Transportation Department to zero in on

(24:41):
states that refused to follow the law.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
Now, The Daily Wire did reach out.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
To Walls, who did not immediately respond to a request
for comment, and a letter sent yesterday the Federal Motor
Carrier Safety Administration informed Governor Tim Walls that his state
had issued an alarming number of non domicile commercial driver's
licenses illegally. The administration also outlined that its audit had

(25:08):
found that the state issued these licenses to drivers whose
licenses were valid long after their lawful presence in the
US expired, and drivers who were prohibited from holding non
domicile commercial CDLs. The state also failed to initially verify
that some drivers were lawfully in the US. Minnesota is

(25:33):
openly and blatantly defying our rules, plain and simple. According
to the FMCSA Derek d Bars yesterday, under the Trump administration,
the states have two choices. Made our standards or face
the consequences following the law is non optional.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
And remember Governor Tim Walls just.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Over the weekend said that, you know what, he would
love to see some help from the federal govern I'm
happy to go in and take help from the federal government.
So maybe this is the kind of help that he
was looking for, or maybe it's not so that ice
operation in Saint Paul that took place cost so much
controversy last week. We do have an update on that.

(26:16):
I did not get a chance to get to this
on yesterday's show, but we have some time this morning
before we go to close things out. Before I get
to that, let's go to this talk back from the
iHeartRadio app brought to you by Lindahl Realty.

Speaker 14 (26:29):
Good morning, John Travis. Hearshot rapids say. I don't know
if I messed it her, if you didn't get to
it yesterday, But the ICE story about the guy they
were looking for in Saint Paul, could you say again
who that guy was?

Speaker 4 (26:42):
I certainly can.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
On November twenty fifth, Ice arrested Victor Malina Rodriguez, a
criminal illegal alien from Honduras who was previously removed from
the country. According to a DHS spokesperson, the criminals rap
sheet includes domestic abuse, disorderly conduct. He chose to commit
a felony by illegally re entering the United States. You know,

(27:06):
at what point are those activists going to be questioned
on their disruption of law enforcement efforts federal and local
when these types of raids take place that puts people
in danger, when ultimately they're defending criminals. Now, I know
that this is just something that Democrats currently do. I

(27:28):
know that it won't matter to the activists, but that
is exactly what is taking place. When news of the
federal operation occurred in Minnesota's capital began to spread. The
situation eventually became working off the story here for Alfa
Neus so unruly that mace was used on several protesters.

(27:48):
One of the people on the scene a Chris Monson,
pastor of the East Emmanual Church in Saint Paul. His
church is just three houses down from where the ice
operation took place. He was disgusted by what he saw
from the protesters. The protest was partly on our property.
I saw and heard many threats, names being called vulgarly,
vulgarity used in rocks, and water bottles thrown at police

(28:10):
that day. This was not a peaceful protest. That was
an organized mob set on causing chaos, and again an
organized mob that essentially was going.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
And supporting a criminal. They don't care.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
They're calling for vigils before there's even any details of
who is actually being arrested. It doesn't matter. Money, influence, power,
that's all that you know, That's all these activists are
interested in, and attention. I should be part of it
as well. Speaking of getting attention one day just because

(28:49):
it falls along the same lines. One day before the
targeted attack on our National Guard in DC. You had
to represent Jasmine Crockett talking about the National Guard in
this way a day before that attack took place.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
Listen to this. I'll say it again.

Speaker 17 (29:09):
Donald Trump's mass deportation system makes me think of what
a modern day slave patrol would look like. Slave patrols
were armed groups empowered by the government to control, intimidate,
and terrorize people solely based on color.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
That's what's happening now.

Speaker 17 (29:26):
Donald Trump is sending mass agents without warrants into communities
of color to terrorize the people who live there. And
the reason that I want to make sure that I
draw out this link because we heard Maxine say that
black and brown is coming together.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
It's incredible the amount of rhetoric that she is able
to go, propaganda that she goes and spews.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
She does get called on the carpet, by the way.
I saw a recent interview where.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
She was asked about the Jeffrey Epstein funding where it
was a different, different Jeffrey Epstein and she was claiming
that Congressional Republicans were being tied to funding there, and
she says, oh, I didn't go through I didn't look
at all the facts regarding that, like she didn't even care.
It didn't even matter to her. The truth was, she

(30:17):
was completely disinterested. It was all about the smear.

Speaker 4 (30:23):
To that point.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Let me share this with you as we get ready
to wrap up the show this morning. It's a montage.
So the question posed when I saw this clip was
how did the mainstream media ever miss the Minnesota fraud story?
Last year we talked a lot about the vetting process
or lack thereof, of Governor Tim Walls because all of
what we've been talking about on the show regarding fraud,

(30:46):
we've discussed further. We've had more revelations regarding the City
Journal piece, but a lot of this has been well
known for a long time, including last year during the
election cycle. Here's a montage. The first part of this,
you're gonna hear the media's coverage Governor Tim Walls being
tapped as VP, followed by the coverage of JD Vance
And the difference is clear.

Speaker 18 (31:08):
Midwestern Dad like super clean cut vibe, everybody likes right so,
plain spoken and relatable, is moderate and independent and pretty
moderate Democrats.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
I always knew him as a moderate, one of the
most moderary, moderate.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
Ragger moderate. I think this is the new moderates far
from progressive. It's right down the middle.

Speaker 16 (31:27):
He's not just an old white manship Wellspat's America, you know,
hawks like a regular person.

Speaker 12 (31:32):
J Wa is the opposite of weird is basically younger
Joe by regular old Joe out there populist.

Speaker 16 (31:37):
Approach to fear on the Republican side and the happy
populism and the happy populism that Tim Walls is on
the ticket on the Democratic side.

Speaker 15 (31:47):
Walls is a kind of happy warrior, happy warriors, happy warriors.

Speaker 12 (31:52):
He was certainly the happy warrior last night, and seemed
to be the happy warrior last night.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
I used to.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Get I don't get it nearly. It's been a long time.
I used to get it almost consistently years and years ago.
But I used to get this complaint of like talking.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Points, you just got your talking points.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
It's like I've never received talking points from any boss
ever in my entire career. But you understand why people
think that on the left, because how else do you
explain what you're listening to? Happy warrior folksy backstore are
going to be very happy warriors.

Speaker 7 (32:24):
There is a new happy warrior.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Following the kind of happy warrior mole, happy warrior, happy
warrior mentality, wicked sense of humor.

Speaker 18 (32:31):
Look at Harvy the pig looks.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
And now you have the change. JD.

Speaker 11 (32:38):
Vans is weird, extreme and angry, utter.

Speaker 18 (32:42):
Humorlessness, the humorlessness and pompousness.

Speaker 16 (32:46):
Hard to believe that JD Vance could be any more extreme.

Speaker 4 (32:49):
It's like a freak show of bros. They had JD.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
Vans dark and ugly beneath the dignity of most politicians.

Speaker 16 (32:57):
JV Vance.

Speaker 8 (32:58):
JD is at the far extreme, the most extreming.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
It was a little bit more here.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Let me add something though it is so completeent you
know what's completely off the mark, right?

Speaker 2 (33:07):
You know this?

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Let me just give you an example, this idea of
walls being in everyday. You know, common guy talks like
regular people. He's funny. It's all a ruse.

Speaker 4 (33:21):
J Vance is actually pretty hysterical.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
If I had a dime for any every time my
oldest son, Logan came to show me some meme that
JD Vance had reposted on the X like I could
probably buy him a new car.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
The most extreme.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
We need to recognize that the danger angry and.

Speaker 18 (33:40):
Mean and dark at lady hating side kjd vance.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
This guy is really weird, y'all.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
Everybody in America knows a JD vance.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
But we stay away from him because he's weird.

Speaker 8 (33:48):
Anger, chaos, hang dog husband.

Speaker 15 (33:51):
He was able to reach all the way down to
a JD vance.

Speaker 5 (33:55):
Nope, optimism, joy.

Speaker 17 (33:58):
Thought of the earth, Midwestern uncle vibe, the quintessential the
mid Western dad.

Speaker 18 (34:02):
Tim Walls keeps winning hot dish contests. Apparently there's some
folksy charms. Is so funny that if he's good at this,
he will release a recipe for a hot dish.

Speaker 15 (34:12):
All of his time on the ground, you know, fixing
f one fifties upside of.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
The Norman Rockwell paintings.

Speaker 18 (34:18):
Right, he's small town America, inn Midwest or uncle your dad.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
I am not as happy in years.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
If Walls only consumes media from his orbit in his bubble,
it's no wonder he looks like a Wall's caught in
the headlights when he's actually asked pointed difficult questions in
mainstream media, Like if all that he heard was that,

(34:45):
he must have thought that he was pretty great. No
wonder he was so happy when he was gallivanting on
stage during the primary process.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
Lake kicks and jazz hands.

Speaker 1 (35:00):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
