Love Them First with Principal Mauri Friestleben - The Here & Now Podcast

Principal Mauri Friestleben is the principal of North High School in Minneapolis. Prior to this school year, her first year at North, she spent 10 years at Lucy Laney Elementary in North Minneapolis. Her time there, her efforts and her radical approach to loving kids first is the focal point of a documentary film titled "Love Them First: Lessons From Lucy Laney Elementary. She is a real life superhero and the impact that she is having on young kids in our city is priceless.
