Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Welcome back to nine to noon on the Friday Football
Feast into the second hour. This is the fantasy football
portion of the equation. And speaking of fantasy football, we
would like to welcome the members of the League of
Extraordinary Gentlemen who are at Buffalo Wildlings blaying today and
or listening at FM one hundred point three KFA. League
(01:15):
of Extraordinary Gentleman Welcome. Is that a league to the
I guess so it's called LXG League of an Extraordinary Gentleman?
Are you sure it's not l e G. No, I'm
just going off what the commissioner of the league told me.
But I'm sorry, I've become staccato. But watching I mean
watching Brett Blake Moore eat, I'm wondering if he was
(01:36):
a hostage in another life.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Holy guy, you can't eat any faster than that. Good Lords,
you may feed that boy well.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
As a kid growing up Wassaw, Wisconsin, Yeah thirteen, fourteen
years old, drinking now GDS with dad at a Yeah hut,
you know, you learn to eat a certain way.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
In his hometown, spam is considered fine dining, Okay. I
hop in honor of Paul as in Paul charciam in
honor of a. Paul, the co host of the Friday
Football Fees for a decade and a half. We called
this bad Boy, I hop in honor of Paul, and
we attack running backs for a third time this season.
(02:13):
It's touchdowns only Wayne Betton on it. There's no tie
to the end of it. From a Dylan Tropics standpoint
or a brag. It just doesn't matter. We just want
to honor Paul. This will be the third time we've
done running backs, so you can't take the same guy twice.
Just in case you guys have crafted one of these guys, Aleck,
(02:35):
You've had James Cook who played last night, and Travis Etchien.
Nordo has had Jordan Mason and Jamiir Gibbs. I have
had Kyron Williams and Jonathan Taylor. So we can't take
the same guy twice. Here's the score. I have fifty
four points, Nordo has thirty four, and Aleck has twenty two.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Now, the only bigger l.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Last week than nine to noon put on the Lakeville
South High School football team and whatever whatever round they
were in in the postseason would be Nordo on the
radio banding about and going back and forth between Josh
Allen and whatever, which quarterback you take, Jalen Hurts, Jalen
(03:19):
Hurts and Allen and he was just I mean, the
mental gymnastics were unbelievable. Well, he talked himself out of
Josh Allen, who ended up having six touchdowns. Yeah, uh so,
but that means that he's close to being hot now.
Alex not trying. Hopefully he tries at least tries this week.
It'd be nice if you did, and you I took them.
(03:39):
I took a quarterback last week, but that got me
no points. So here we are fifty four thirty four,
twenty two touchdowns, only six for rushing and receiving four
if anybody throws, Alex Lewis, who who are you going
to grace us with this week?
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Via in honor of Polly Waally.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Yeah, I've been rew iring my neurological pathways for this
all week.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Spearfish caught another stray.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Uh Spearfish, There's only so much. I mean, Spearfish is
doing a great job over there. Jamiir Gibbs, the Lions
play the Giants.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
I don't I don't love the.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
Lions offensive line right now, I really don't. But the
Giants are run on a ble, and and Jamiir Gibbs
is electric. Do I get touchdowns if he catches the
ball or no?
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Okay, yeah Jamir, Jamir Gibbs is due, right, he's due
for a big breakout.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Yeah yeah, that yeah, the due part. I mean, like
you know, breakout. I'm due, He's due. So it's gonna
be great to go to Vegas with you one day.
Maybe the marketing director also, and we're at a roulette table,
and young Alec will look up at sixteen consecutive reds
and say, Paul, what five hundred on black? Because it's due.
(04:57):
That's gonna sounds like a sure way to lose a nick.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I don't know, Jamir.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Give the Giants, I mean Dexter Lawrence and Brian Burns
and guys we're gonna see in a few weeks in
New York.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Can't wait to do it, go to New York.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
When when you watched back, I didn't watch back as
much Green Bay Offense as I'm sure you did. I'm
probably a quarter and a half into it. Sure it's
not skeletal remains of Dexter Lawrence. It's not dominating three
technique formerly known as Dexter Lawrence.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
That ain't the same Dexter Lawrence that I remember.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
It was a little interesting that there was one time
where he comes scotch free through the A gap. I'm like,
that looks like an offensive line mess up. Probably don't
want that happening, But yeah, Dexter Lawrence does not look
like the same player.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
But you're doing.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Burns has really kind of taken over as the patriarch
of that defense, hasn't any.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
THEA thats good the patriarch.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Well, you said scotch free, so the patriarch's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
No, they've got kevon Thibodeau.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
They've got abdull cardies sleeping in the facility.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
I'm missing a team meeting.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Yeah, speaking of that, though, you've been in the Vikings
facility and they've got next to the locker room, there's
like this little side room. Yeah, and it is so nappable, yeah,
because it's super dark.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
They got food in there.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
But even in the locker room they have those comfany
couches with ottomans or things on which you can rest
your legs, and a fire and oh.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
My gosh, the fire in the locker room is great,
but they also there's this big plush like what do
you call the bean bean bag beanie bean bag bean bags?
Speaker 1 (06:30):
I think, yeah, that's what it is.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Okay, there's one of those that's just gigantic, and you'll see.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Players just falling asleep on them all the time.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
So I get Abdul Carter gave Rashid Walker a problem,
and you hope that Jonathan Grenard will do the same
in a couple of days.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Anyway, I'm taking Jamiir Gibbs.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
You're taking Jamiir Gibbs.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Why would anybody ever play pole tabs? So I'm I
told you that's not your game, but I understand. But
what's wrong with it? It's not even fun. I mean
there's it's even a sweat to it.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
No, But when you win, when you win, it's electric,
it's I mean, there's nothing like that really.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
I mean it's ane, that's electric now. But the money
you win, the money tied to it, I wouldn't know
what that feels like. First time with Paul.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Table that's gonna that's gonna.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
Happen playing now, I've got to get you an electronic one.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Then you'll be really enjoying it.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
So I'm gonna do the same thing that I did
last week. Is it's kind of a three way going
flip between Derrick Henry and I think they're hosting the
Jets and then you have Saquon at the Cowboys. But
I'm gonna go with Christian McCaffrey at home against the Panther.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Now, you guys taking Jonathan Taylor so.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Well, I think they're at k C, and I'm just
I'm thinking that's.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
A struggle this Yeme.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
Yeah, but uh, but the the idea, but between you,
he's got five tds is last three games CMC. He
catches and runs it in Yeah, yeah, McCaffrey and uh,
And the one way that you can really punish the
Panthers defense overall very good unit. I mean, can Ali
is not doing an awful job down there in Charlotte.
You can get him on the ground. And so whether
(08:00):
it's passing, whether it's catching, like it Shanahan's not against
making number twenty three throw it potentially. I mean, you
can do anything with them. And I think they're in
a dollar they're in freight train mode right now. The
Niners are as they slowly get a little healthier.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
I threw fifteen pole tabs into the ground, and this
lady over here one hundred dollars. I just wasted my
time opening thirty some odd of these dumb things, and
and I went anything.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
And you can ask her how much fun it was
when she pulled that.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Wow, that's fantastic because I put fifty in the machine,
which means technically I doubled my money.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
But you get all the money. It's not bad. Like
you said, we feed you at Buffalo Wild Wings, we
clothe you with T shirts in the case, we.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Compensate you, and we set up showing up. We set
up your kids five twenty nines.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
It's not bad. Hey, fifty bucks a week. It matters
in the long term. I'm telling you, I like the
McCaffrey picking. I really don't think about that one.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Yeah, I don't. I don't know what I'm thinking. So
the Panthers defense there because you're not trying.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Well, just just watch Saquon light it up for two
hundred three scores against that awful Cowboys defense in the
divisional matchup the Eagle Caffrey gets shut out.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
What is the Eagles deal? What do you mean other
than being the best team in the NFC. I don't know. Yeah,
but like in the media, it's like a mouse.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
But like, are they just it is it just like
they're trying to make it a mess.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
I don't I don't understand why.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
I talked through a through a friend. I met a
guy who writes for the Washington Post and he's a
Philly native.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
How is Clem Florio? How is Adam Kilgore?
Speaker 3 (09:28):
And he he it was kind of interesting he talked
to me about He said that they manufacture like that's
an actual thing. Yeah, Like they manufacture tension like they
love it and they thrive in it. From Sirianni up
to Howie Roseman. The whole bit in that building is
a you big dom. Of course you will not be
comfortable in that building. Yeah, and they that's actually kind
(09:51):
of part of how they run the entire operation. It's
paying off with a Super Bowl, but it's constant. It's
it's kind of like Jerry Jones Light. It feels like
in terms of again, whether it's it's Aj Brown on
a freaking podcast, Sirianni and the weird facial expressions and
mannerisms and just kind of how front running and dweebe
he can be at times. Jalen Hurts, Is he the guy?
(10:11):
Is he not the guy? Well, if he's not the guy,
who is the guy?
Speaker 1 (10:14):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (10:14):
And they keep winning with that tension in the building.
Weird and don't you uh?
Speaker 2 (10:19):
And I've seen some of that now from a like
the national talking head standpoint, the Jalen Hurts bit the
Nordo just brought up. Honestly, how can anybody insane mind
wonder if Jalen Hurts, a Super Bowl winning quarterback where
he might have been.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
The MVP, is like the guy. Of course he is crazy.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
It's funny because I've been like over the years, I'd
say I've been skeptical about Jayleen, but then you like,
we saw what he did against the Vikings of Usban
Stadium on third down and you see the amount of
places he doesn't turn the ball over a ton.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
He's massive. Yeah, I I he has no pulse.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Wait, wait doing, we're not doing doing Montana Hurts, Brady Hurts,
Marino Hurts comparisons here.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
No, we're just talking about.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Somebody capable of leading a team to the football version
of the Promised Land.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Oh wait, he's done. That and he won. Yeah, I
don't just the stupidest talk around.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
It's crazy.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
But then like AJ Brown I think this morning or
something said, he's like, we don't run crossing routes and
one of their ports like Why's like, I don't know,
ask KP the offensive coordinator, It's like.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Why what are you doing? They don't care. They don't
because they laugh about.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
They wait and and they look at the reaction and
then they laugh with each.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Other, which is interesting. It's interesting. Yeah, it has an
enigmatic side to it.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Well, I wonder if that's true though, where it's where
you get all this triol out there, but inside the
building again amidst this manufactured tension, they're like, yeah, look
at these idiot clowns, like worrying about what AJ said
on a podcast. Right, they're all dogs, They're all buddies. Oh,
c's laughing about It's like, well, you guys kind of
screwed me over in this upcoming pressor thanks for that.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Well, go out and house people. Speaking of AJ, that's
going to be my running back this week. He showed
time I'm taking Aaron Jones at lambeau Field. He went
for about from scrimmage last year. I know we had
the bedford ed quarterback and we got the kid at
quarterback now. But the way Aaron Jones twice this week
(12:21):
has explained to yours truly either either it was talking
about McCarthy after the l but then for the radio
the other day about the maturation of his hamstring since
he came back like, you don't come back ten to ten.
You come back I don't know, eight and three quarters
of ten, then it goes to nine, then it goes
to nine point three. But he's feeling pretty good about
(12:43):
this weekend.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Good of a guy? Is he fantastic?
Speaker 4 (12:46):
I mean, I've been a locker rooms for multiple years
and there are very few guys who are as thoughtful, caring, empathetic.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
I mean that dude is a special. He is special.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
With Aaron Jones a year ago, did you feel like
that was an emphasis into the game? Returning to Lambeau
former packer you want to win the game? Is that
something you believe that Kevin O'Connell would mix in former
green and gold back in that house, that we're going
to make an emphasis to give him opportunities to get
into the end zone? And then would they do that
the second time when some of the glitter is worn off.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
That's a very fair question.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
And as a matter of fact, they came into the
game last year looking to feature and focus on Aaron Jones,
but then lo and behold, they got up twenty eight
zero in about four seconds, and they didn't really need
to focus on the tailback, and we just kind of
organically let it happen up to halftime. So Aaron thinks
(13:45):
he's gonna score this weekend, So I think he's gonna
score this weekend, like it and with running backs in
honor of Paul as in Polly Waally Charchi him alec
Lewis selects Jamiir Gibbs, Eric nor Quis selects Christian McCaffer
and I select Aaron Jones now injury report today key.
The farther along we get in the week, the more
(14:08):
confused I get with Jonathan Grenard being on the trip
or not being on the trip. But from the Packers standpoint,
I'm beginning to think kway Walker is on the bottom
side of questionable, which is really unfortunate for Minnesota Vikings
fans because he is in stone cold liability.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
In the passing game.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Clayton said, well, all you got to do is think
back to the Pittsburgh game, Patrick Queen, you're on. Remember
when like O'Connell was just ruining Patrick number six, Patrick Queen.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
It was like he had the laser pointer just right
at Patrick.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
He looked at him like he was a two leaf
clover and just kept going at him time after time,
time and time again, just like a two leaf clover.
But Quay Walker, well, I mean he cannot play downhill
pretty nicely. But to pass Coveragejanus thing, I think he happened.
He might be on the bottom side of questionable. Josh Jacobs.
They're running back with eleven touchdowns this year. He seems
(15:01):
to be of the fifty to fifty.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Variety for this game. He went to limited yesterday, didn't he?
Uh yeah, I think it was limited limited. I don't
he was a DNP on one's gamp.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
He definitely hasn't been full yet, so let's see if
he goes fall. We'll begin with Alec the importance of
Josh Jacobs to them in this game and good morning, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
I mean good morning, good morning?
Speaker 3 (15:25):
Did say good morning?
Speaker 1 (15:26):
The run game is.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
Very important for them in this game, no doubt. Josh
Jacobs has been good this year, but he has not
been what he was last year, and he doesn't have
like the major, major juice that I don't know, I've
come to kind of expect with him. Their backups, Emaitiel
Wilson and Chris Brooks are capable and so, I you.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Know, in the red.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Zone, not having Josh Jacobs probably matters. But I like
Emmanuel Wilson, this D two guy who's really kind of developed.
Aaron Jones. I was talking to Aaron Yes in the locker.
Really likes Samaniel Wilson as a dude and player. So
I don't know if it's the biggest deal, but Jordan Love,
I mean, they're just like the Vikings in this game.
Someday their approach is going to be to stay out
(16:12):
a third and long and it's the same for both sides,
and we talk about it every week.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
But that's gonna be huge. So not having Josh Jacobs
definitely matters.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Well, if you were to ride your discernment, some would
call it gut feeling. I like to call it discernment,
would you. I mean, it's not a heaven or hell equation,
so if you're wrong, it's fine. Do you think Jacobs
plays this weekend. I don't I'd say no, that would
be my guess.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
And then if Jonathan Garnard, I would say yes, like
that's probably where I go.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
But I don't know. On either of those, I'd be speculating.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
I mean, I think it means the world to the
team from the standpoint that even though they're not necessarily
as explosive, they still run the hell out of the ball.
I think they're top ten in attempts that sort of thing.
So there's you know, we're we're begging for commitment. It's
kind of just jointed at times. They're gonna do the
two three yards in a cloud of dust in the
hopes that it's going to pay off, possibly with a
(17:04):
big spot run. You mentioned Emmanuel Wilson. The other end
of it, this is the best third down offense in
the NFL. The Parkers are, and a lot of that
is built on first down production from the rushing attack.
And you're right, I've been reading it all week. I
think that they and I assume it's accurate that they
have a ton of faith. Maybe in a vacuum for
one game they can go by committee with the Brooks
(17:26):
and the Wilson trick. But if they're not in and
they're not seeing early down productivity on the run game,
and you're gonna make Jordan Love make those plays third
and seven, third and eight and beyond. As you mentioned,
it's a weekly talker, it matters a ton. I think
they're in massive trouble if they don't have Josh Jacobs
in this game.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yeah, I mean I think we do.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Think I'm reading hyperbolet.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
No no, no, which I think is fair.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Like you love Jordan Love. He's gonna go for four hundred.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
They're best in the NFL on third and long, and
I think so much of that is is quarterback quarterbacks,
quarterback driven.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
But forgotten they were down Jayden Reid.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
They are.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
I mean he's yeah, he hasn't played forever, but man,
he's a key on third down. And I went back,
I was watching some early Packers stuff Tucker Craft for them,
I mean them not having him, yeah, is such a
massive deal. He was becoming I mean, I don't know,
top five, top three tight ends in the NFL was
very impressive what he was doing.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
But I he came off the best game of his career,
I think in that prime time before the game he
got hurt.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
The one thing about their run game is the offensive
line isn't as good, which I think just really whether
it's Jacobs or maybe Wilson or Chris Brooks, it really
affects them. Paired with that, though, their run design is
as impressive as really anybody who're gonna watch, like they
do some real designer stuff shotgun run pulling, guards, fake pullers.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Like it is.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
They put a lot You can tell when you watch
the film that they put a lot of time and
effort and energy into designing their run game. I think
a lot of that comes from their OC Adam Stenovich,
who you talk people in the industry that they think
he's like a major like behind the scenes key there
and riser in the industry. So, uh yeah, as ask
Kevin about it today, he'll they'll.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Pick him out of a two person lineup standing next
to Gilbert Brown.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Ask Kevin O'Connor by Adams Stinovitch today and you'll you'll
get some good stuff. But I yeah, so we'll see
the run game is huge because the more Jordan love
is in those third and long spots, I mean, the
tougher it's gonna be Brian Flores. Defense in third and
long has been has been you know, there have been
times where it's been really good, and there have been
key moments in third and long where they've given up
(19:32):
passes and it's just like a gut punch. But yeah,
I we'll see about Josh Jacobs.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
I just wonder about our ability to get to him
at times, getting to Jordan Love if you if we
are going to mitigate the run game and get to him,
I just want I want to see our d line
show up.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Let's let's flip it.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
The potency or potentially lack thereof of the Vikings running
game against Green Bay.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Vikings should be able to run the ball. That's why
I like the Aaron Jones pick. I mean, like the
Packers defensive line. You know, they've got this guy, Kolby Wooden,
big players, They've got Devonte Wyatt is a better pass
rusher than he is a run defender. There are some
other guys like your Carl Brooks, and but their interior
defensive line, Yeah, no, loser, I like that. I like him.
(20:16):
But they no longer have Kenny Clark. That's a major deal.
And then from the Vikings perspective, you're gonna get Ryan
Kelly back probably, and so you're gonna have Christian dear Saw,
Donovan Jackson, Ryan Kelly, wolf Ries and Brian O'Neil. And
that group was signed, paid, drafted to be able to
run the football, and so I expect you'd see that
this weekend.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
That's why I like the Aaron Jones pick.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
It's a great pick and you're gonna be leading by
seventy next week.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
Well, it's a little bit different, but it's kind of similar,
like the JJ McCarthy talker. It's like each and every
week we're talking about mechanics, we're talking about it feels
like similar things and they're finding different ways to talk
about those same things. I kind of feel like that
with the run game a little bit. Man. This is
another team on a schedule in week twelve in which
we can go into this game saying I think the
Vikings can run the ball a little bit on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Just prove it.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Okay, now, no, go out and do it, you know
what I mean? And I really liked I think it
was five attempts by Jones on that opening drive against
the Bears, and then situationally, functionally, we kind of got
away from it. I would like to see that commitment.
And that's why you're talking a little bit about Pa
asking him like, do you think there's an emphasis because
Jones the former packer, we went out there and made
(21:21):
sure that he was featured, that he had opportunities. It
doesn't necessarily have to be about that. It's we identify
that weakness, we have to adjust a little bit. I
think a lot of things can benefit from us making
that commitment, but step one, I think, yes, absolutely, we
can be super effective on the ground against the pack

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Okay, these lovely ladies.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
And the bartender and everybody else, they got up super early.
We have a jam pack crowd. It's congested a lot
of human clipping penalties, so make sure you tip everybody
exponentially today. Okay, around of applause for the work they're
doing today.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Ain't a great day to be cheap, are you? Bartending
right now.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Yeah, No, I just wanted to walk back there and
kind of get a feel for it to start Bikes Bites,
which is provided.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
By Thousand Hills Lifetime Grays grass Fed Shop online boxing

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Nordo generally leads it.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Lead it on Fridays from the crowd, so Nordo can
get some some more opinions in. We have Alec Lewis
from the Athletic in Theathletic dot Com. I have some
questions written down. But this is create your own bike bite.

question of any type, just put your hand up and
we will come find you in the crowd, and then
(24:21):

Speaker 2 (24:30):
I'm gonna be on the radio and everybody can gather
around the radio and be a very super special occasion.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
What is your name and where are you from?
Speaker 3 (24:38):
I'm from Brett. I'm from Iowa.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Okay, Brett from Iowa wearing the Jordan Love jersey double B.
I mean, Brett, what's your Vike bite for the team?
I think the Purple's best chance to get a victories,
get the running game going. What has Aaron Jones got
to do to get that famous lambeau leap?
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Oh wow, he asked a serious question him.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Oh and by the way, uh what, I don't want
to ruin the well, No, it's not, it's not ruined
the bit. I gave you an opportunity to savage everything.
Purple and Gold are nine to noon, and you just
wong and missed, kind of like your quarterback's gonna do
on the final three plays this weekend. But anyway, okay, anyway,
with that walk by that I did with Aaron Jones
the other day, he kind of guaranteed that he was
(25:22):
going to score a touchdown in this game at lambeau
Field and that he was going to do what I
guess I'll call it the Vikings vault. Can't call it
the Lambeau leap. I'll call it the Vikings vault. And
he's going to jump into the crowd. What do you
think of that? Double b I mean Brett from Iowa?
Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yeah, thank you Pa.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Good morning as well.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
And good morning. What do you guys think about Aaron Jones?
I know we just talked about it, but give us
your best ten seconds.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Yeah. I just think we're gonna have an opportunity to
run at Michael Parsons in some respects today not today
on Sunday. I like that. I appreciate when we've actually
done it, the mixing of Mason and Aaron Jones and
stupidly a couple of weeks ago and taking Jordan Mason.
If we are in the low red, it will be
(26:06):
Aaron Jones who gets to lie and share those opportunities.
I like a short pass or a or a short
run into the into the end zone. Well, depending on
the D and D.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
Yeah, you got to be your best and your best
is are required. But I read or low red. The
ops are important all all.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Sunday, as long as the concrete has dried, the poster.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
And the base.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
Balanced body position with your feet and eyes are very critical.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Can we just stay out of the waity downs, by
the way, can we just please do that? I know
I don't want to get to the wady downs. I
want to handle business on first and second.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Because it works on the neurological pathways of all of us.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
And what I would say is, you can be a
situational master if you hand the ball off to Jordan Mason.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
I mean, I'm applauding you right now.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
That's very well done.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
That was a throwback situational masters.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
While Okay, what's your name and where are you from?
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Hi, Lisa. I'm just here simply to for my dollar.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
I mean I threw a bunch of pole tabs into
the crowd because I got bored with playing that stupid game.
And you want one hundred dollars, so you owe me
a dollar for that that pole tab I threw your way. Well,
I understand that, but you played yours right with my money,
so you owe me a dollar. So you ain't gonna
give me a dollar? Nope, Okay, you want one hundred
dollars off of poll tab that I gave to you.
(27:24):
Now forget my dollar. Here's the deal. Okay, I want
one of you with that free money you just fell
into to get server.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Each server twenty dollars.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Okay, wow, each server right here, twenty dollars. Right. I
don't want I don't want that mozzarella stick. Man, it's
got too much cheese. This border Battle weekend air. So anyway,
tip the servers. Okay, damn man, you leave the western
suburbs and everybody gets tight with the pockets. Holy Cow
bytes bikees bikes Bies provided.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
By Thousand Hills Lifetime Grays grass fed Bee. Uh.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
You mentioned Jonathan Gernard earlier. Hey, I mean, what do
you think it's? It's I would if we had done
this bike bite on Monday, I would have been like, yeah,
I'll bet a thousand dollars he's gonna be on the
trip and play. I'm not saying he's not, but it's
it's closer to fifty to fifty than I thought it
would be.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
In good morning.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
Yeah, if you do it, good morning, if you'd have
bet a thousand dollars, you would obviously, you know, it
would have been nice.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
To have the hundred back.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
The Jonathan Garnard thing, I would say, Kevin O'Connell made
a comment Monday that he hopes to get some snaps
from Jonathan Gernard and we'll just see. He was limited
yesterday today. If he's not full, then I expect him
probably to be questionable and then it's it's a dice roll.
But the hope would be bet Dallas Turner, who had
(28:43):
a good game last week. It was fine, specifically against
a backup tackle in Theo Benedette and tight ends durham
smythe than Cole Comette.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
You would hope that Dallas Turner.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
Speed could get at Rashid Walker.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Paul is like all the way Cole Commette won reps consistently.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
Again, Yeah that's why.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Look, I I the Cowboys have nothing to do with this.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
It was a reminder for me that when you see
these pressure stats that I love.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
I'm a nerd.
Speaker 4 (29:09):
I love analytics seven pressure pressure rate, all this stuff
like that, those stats need context of opponent, of situation
and all that stuff. Anyway, I'm Paul's in the back,
Yeah I am.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Yeah. What do you got? What is your name? And
where are you from? Molly from Plymouth? Uh, do you
have a question for Vikes bikes? How's Darisaw going to
do against Micah Parsons.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
Oh, look at that Darisaw one on one against Michael Parsons.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
What do you think about? Hey, I pous for everybody.
Great question.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
I'd give you a pull tab, but you'll probably hit
a thousand and get cheap on me.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
So I'm just gonna go ahead and keep that to myself.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
So the last time that Christian Darisov faced off against
Michael Parsons, I'm not sure if you'll recall.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Oh, is that the forty to three?
Speaker 4 (29:50):
It was twenty twenty two forty to three the Vikings
hosted the Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
Wow, I'm still high off the Bills victory.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Chrysten Darisaw exited that game with an injury, and now's
part of the reason that that game spiraled. So, jeez,
you would hope that this weekend, in this matchup, Christian
Darisol can give it back to Michael Parsons. But he's tough.
He's gonna line up over Donovan Jackson, He's gonna line
up over Will Fries, And if you're in long downs
and distances, I mean it's a I'm gonna be walking
(30:18):
in the press box getting cheese curves instead of worrying
about what that's looking like.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
It's not gonna be pretty well.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Here's the key thing, though, is that three years ago
Michael Parsons was a three down player. He is no
longer a three down player. So now we get back
into the weighty downs in this case for our particular offense,
and maybe fewer reps leads to one on one winning
for darisol.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
What do you think, Well, just be careful when you're
throwing it to avoid the block shot.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
That I'm out, I got no more to you. I
don't know posture.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
We have a used post What about complete power of
the completion.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
The power of the completion pitch and catch catch, you
can play no.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Look the Michaeh. Parsons thing if you leave him one
on one.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
Yeah, and that's that's whether it's darrisaw O'Neil lane Johnson,
I don't care who it is. Again, it is staying
out of third and long so that you can keep
Michah Parsons away from JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
Don't you think we talk about like the idea of
handcuffing a tight end a little too often, like we
just think about it. We'll just throw Oliver over there,
throw Hawkinson over there. It's not really pragmatic or reasonable
to say throughout the context of an entire game that
you can do.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
That, right, because then you only have so many players
out in the route, which means.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
Less all five eligibles. Yeah, I'm heard jaj McCarthy.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
I'm kind of changed fewer explosives.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
I I mean, Mike is a good player, and Micah
has eight sacks and nine starch ten games. But don't
you compensate darisaw and or O'Neil for moments like that.
I mean one on one, yeah, but one on every time,
but to just to minimize the handcuff.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
Yeah, I mean you do. But what about one on
one with a ham chip? Well, yeah, I like that.
I think you'll see that a fair amount. No, you
compensate them. But I mean this guy is at a
It's like him and Miles Garrett and maybe Will Anderson
right now where regardless of how much you pay, the
tackles like they're gonna get theirs. And so it's in
(32:15):
coming upon the quarterback to get rid of it.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Don't forget Aiden Hutchinson.
Speaker 4 (32:18):
And the design, Yeah, and the design to mitigate the
amount that they affect the quarterback.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
So it's a good question, though. What's your name and
where are you from? It's bikes bite Bopper from the future.
Hello Bopper, you're from the future. What's the future look like?
It looks it looks great.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
It must be.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
It's I mean, it's it's so bright you have to
wear shades.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
That's right, right. What's the question?
Speaker 3 (32:42):
Is it expected?
Speaker 2 (32:43):
Is JJ gonna connect to JJ for the payday on
Sunday against the Packers?
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Yeah? There it is.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
JJ to JJ for the payday? Is it gonna happen
this weekend? He's well, wait a second. You're from the future.
You're supposed to be able to get us, sir. What
do you guys think? Why?
Speaker 3 (33:02):
I I just think the targets remain. As we talked
about when JJ was healthy and he was going to play,
what was he gonna do? He was gonna try to
find eighteen and he did that, and he continues to
try to find eighteen. Uh. This goes back to not
being able to see the future. Whether the kid can
just throw on time and throw it in the right
freaking direction.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
Yeah, I mean, look, I I justin Jefferson, I do
want to use this question to say one thing, I
think justin Jefferson in the way he's handled this whole
situation is should be really, really praised because there are
a lot of players across this league who would probably
be louder in the media, who would be even more
(33:41):
frustrated on game day than he has been at times.
And so I just I want to use this to
praise like the maturity level, and why is that praise worthy?
Speaker 2 (33:52):
On the other side of that, Okay, that's and I
mean I just think it's rare.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
I think it's rare.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
Yeah, but I mean that that's that's analogous to knucklehead
factor in the league, and he's not one. But I mean,
this is how humanity is supposed to work. So it's rare,
but it should be a standard.
Speaker 4 (34:08):
It should be, but you don't see it off It
is rare, and so when it when you see something rare,
like praise it is kind of my perspective with this.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
That's sad. It's very unfortunate.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
But anyway, I don't know is I'm not like, like,
is that a parenting strategy? When you see something good
that you barely see, shouldn't you praise it?
Speaker 1 (34:27):
I don't know he's not a child. No, he's not
right right, that's what's your name and where you're from?
Speaker 5 (34:32):
My name is Brent from Camus, Washington.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Oh you can't. You came in from the state of Washington.
Speaker 5 (34:36):
I drove nineteen hours to get here.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Oh wow, welcome.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
Hey, my man drove nineteen hours to come to the
Friday football feast.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
Round of applause. Oh and Thanksgiving with family. But anyway, well,
and it took him.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
Three hours with the stoplights on sixty.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Five, but he got here. You got a question for us?
Speaker 5 (34:53):
Yeah, I've wanted to ask Paul this question for a while.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
Who would you rather have all time?
Speaker 5 (34:59):
Harton Smith Toy Palu?
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Oh boo, wow, you've been wanting to ask me that
question for quite some time. Oh wow, all right, plug
in the uh plug in the uh purple and gold computer.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I would prefer Harrison Smith.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
That's not even closed because if they let him run
all over the field, he would play like Polo Malu.
If they let him grow his hair out, he would
also have a head and shoulders.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Commercial.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Uh, they're both buying players, they're different players. I can't
answer that question because Polo Malu was the bomb, But
hit Man also has been the bomb. Great question. Sorry
to go Gray Area on you. I really do you
guys have an opinion on that?
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Well, i'd i'd go. I mean, I'm a Mancato kid,
so I'm super biased.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
I'm biased too.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
It's it's the hit Man and even just a blanket.
You can go and look at this up. I'm pretty
confident I could take an l here.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
Statistically, hit Man has been infinitely more productive over the
course of his career than Paula Malu was Paula Malu
was you differently? To your point, Pa, he's jumping snapcounts
and making sacks and I mean he's he's hoisting a
trophy and good for him. But hit Man over the
course of his career has met more to our defense.
I think he's shown up. I mean, two hundred games in.
Maybe it doesn't look as good as it did the
(36:13):
first five or six, But Hitman statistically, and I think
equity wise from a time perspective, I would take him
every time.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
Yeah, I'm a I'm a Harrison Smith guy.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
My question for our guy from Washington is he driving
back for the Seattle.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
Game next weekend?
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (36:26):
Wow? I mean yeah? Why?
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Oh? You'll be there wearing in a meetium as Sean
Kemp's dispensary.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
I'd take a tour. Don't ask how I know that?
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Okay, last bike bike by the way, Bike's Bikes Bikes
bikes provided.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
By Thousand Hills Lifetime Graves Grass fed Bee.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
What's your name and where are you from? Patty?
Speaker 3 (36:46):
And I'm from eath Beuffel.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Hello, And what's your question for the cast?
Speaker 3 (36:50):
How do you think Ryan Kelly is going to do
coming out of concussion protocol?
Speaker 2 (36:54):
About that? Now, that's a bike bye right there. That's
a good question.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
That's that's maybe the greatest question in the segments. Really
good fat Ryan Kelly.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
How does it?
Speaker 3 (37:02):
You know?
Speaker 1 (37:03):
I My first thing with Ryan.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
Kelly come back from the concussion is I just hope
he stays healthy through this game. And I know from
conversations like this guy loves the game.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
He really wants to still play football.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
I mean, there's been the last couple last month and
a half two months since he suffered the concussion, there's
been a lot of work.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Behind the scenes done on what is this going to take.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
To make it as safe as safe as possible? New helmet,
guardian cap like how much do you really want to play?
And it's pretty clear that Ryan Kelly just loves the
game too much to walk away. He's been in the
locker room a ton, so I expect him to play
pretty well, to be honest, I mean, I think to
have Donovan Jackson and will rise next to him, to
have that tackle group in the run game in particular, you.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
Confirm for me this is going to be the first
time we see the preferred what is it seventeen eighteen
combinations and finally game eleven we get to see the
third starting five crazy and I will.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
And I said this last week, I think, but I
mean the health of the Vikings team right now, to
be this late in the season and be this healthy
it is. I know it's been a slog to get
to this point. Yeah, but it is pretty impressive that
they had the level of health that they have right now.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Yeah, the concrete's starting to drive. Okay, last one, what's
your name? Where are you from?
Speaker 1 (38:21):
Jared from Minneapolis? Do you have a question? Yeah? When
are you guys gonna go to break?
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Break time? From Buffalo Wild Wings? Blaine back?
Speaker 3 (38:29):
After this?
Speaker 2 (38:34):
All right, we got a shorty here for you, and
then the Sultan of Smug David senekon Packer review and
preview at TC.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
Head Cheese via the X Machine.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
David Sennecon will join us for some border battle conversation.
Don't at us and don't hate him. David and I
have been friends for about a quarter century. Is my
hippie brother, so we've been doing the border battle for
quite some time. He's sick three and one, we're four
and six. It's been the other way before, and we
think you'll enjoy. Let's set to onfurl about ten minutes
(39:07):
from now. Alex Lewis The Athletic, The Athletic dot Com
courtesy of Steve's Appliances and Steve's Appliances dot Com, Nordo
Mad producer from nine to noon, and I'm Paul Allen
in this shorty. Let's let's have each of you because
I want Alex to I want Alec to expound on
something he said earlier. Who wins the NFC North and
(39:30):
why Bears are seven and three, Packers six three and one,
Kitties six and four defending champs though Purple four and six?
Speaker 3 (39:39):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (39:39):
You like Green Bay to win the division? I do?
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Why?
Speaker 4 (39:45):
I just please see this is brutal out of feast
to have to back this opinion on the feast.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
No, there there point. What's a point like eight? What's
what's the cutoff?
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Bit? Oh point would be the one. I know what.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
Yeah, they're about point oh six and a half right now,
so you can sneak one by him.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
I just that they're gonna get Jayden Reid back Jayden
not this weekend, not this weekend, and generally no, No,
They're gonna get him back over the course of this season.
And I you know, he'll be a critical weapon for them.
But I just, I mean, I like the staff a lot.
I trust, I trust the offense that they put together
(40:24):
and Jeff Hafley on the defensive side.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
And then you're not gonna like this.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Hold on, hold on, ladies and gentlemen, Oh no, please,
the Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders have arrived. Can I get a
witness and a rockous round of applause. I'm not gonna like, why, uh,
we're not doing a best play by play guy in
the league.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
And Laravich just daggered me. We're talking about the teams.
Speaker 4 (40:48):
No, and I and and I like Jordan Love and
I am of the opinion that why do you think
I don't like Jordan Love.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
No, it's it's I mean, I'm not gonna sit here
and explain myself over five men that I don't trust
him in big moments, and I have plenty of context
that would indicate he shrinks when it's the hottest okay,
and it's not just one time, it's multiple times. So
(41:16):
and I've said it before, if Jordan Love comes up
with some cold blooded connections in pressure filled moments that
helps them advance in the postseason, then I'll say, hey,
good job, my brother. Same thing for Sam Darnold. I
just know that's that type of pressure is not for everybody. No,
you're right, and so far he hasn't been able to
handle it. You're other than that. See, those quarterbacks are
(41:38):
the worst kind to have because they get big deals,
they take you so far and right when you're set
to get that boat ashore, all of a sudden, everybody's
walking a plank. So that that that's like if I
had to have an official take on that quarterback, that's
what it is.
Speaker 3 (41:54):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
No, I mean we could have done that over a
glass of tequila. We can do it now. I mean
that's it's we just did it. So I don't you know,
I think that's a very fair take.
Speaker 4 (42:03):
I just I believe that he is the best quarterback
in the division.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
That's what I take Jared Goff over him and ten
of ten times, and a lot of people probably would I.
I you know, the athleticism, the ability to create, okay,
the overall I'm talent arm talent.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
That's where I'm at.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
And so I for me the division, I just go
Green Bay.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
That's that's where I am got it.
Speaker 2 (42:26):
Now with the games this weekend, I charged the cast
to find a point spread underdog and tell us why
the team is going to win. So, for instance, I've
married myself to an opinion the last day in change
for whatever the reason. It may be bunked, but I
think Cincinnati, with Joe Burrow returning at home, is going
(42:50):
to beat the New England Patriots. And yes, I know
Jamar Chase is not playing. It's just it's kind of
a record thing. Is this a ten and two team?
Is this a three and eight team? Maybe it is,
well see, but I think Cincinnati at plus two two
twenty is how we described in the business. I like
Cincinnati to beat New England this weekend as an underdog winner.
(43:12):
Do you guys have any underdog winners that you can
stamp for the throng?
Speaker 3 (43:16):
Well, I went on, I'm taking the Cardinals plus three
at home against the visiting Jaguars. I like that. Jags
are zero to two against the spread this year, and
they're one and one as a team blown out by
Houston and they beat the Raiders by a point. I
just think they're an incredibly unpredictable and uneven team. That's
like a team that will lose an easy one and
(43:37):
then they'll put thirty five on the Chargers next week.
That is the Jaguars. They are an identity list team
for the most part at this stage, battling their way
through the South. I just need a couple of scores
out of Brissett at home as a three point dog
to find my way into the winner circle. I think
they can do that. Digging it Alan, There are two
that I like. The first.
Speaker 4 (43:57):
The first the Colts their dogs against the Chiefs in
Kansas and what's the points spread?
Speaker 1 (44:05):
Three and a half? Wow? And and look, I'm molts
off of bye.
Speaker 4 (44:09):
Kansas City needs to win the game desperately so and
they're usually winning these spots, but this would be like
a very I just you know Patrick Mahomes and that
offense has not been rhythmic, and that Colts defense with
lou Ana Erumo has had his number many times in
the past when he was in Cincinnati as the DC,
Louianna Arumo threw some curve balls at my home. So
(44:30):
that's the first one, digging it. And then the second
game would be the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (44:35):
Vikings plus six so probably plus two thirty something like that, playing.
Speaker 3 (44:39):
To the crowd, are you I.
Speaker 4 (44:41):
I mean, I think there's a there's a definitely a
doable path.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
With division games have more fifty to fifty two than
the very much spreads gate.
Speaker 4 (44:48):
And create two turnovers and could be in the game.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
Man, I mean that's that and the Vikings. I almost
went with that one. That'd be like two or three
for me if I had to pick one.
Speaker 4 (44:58):
We we talked about this last week. Grdo like you
could sit there and be like, man, the Viking should
have two wins. You can also sit there and say
the Viking should have seven or eight wins if you
just win the turnover margin some of these games. And
that's why the part of it for as the most
recent two specifics.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Sometimes as the offenses.
Speaker 4 (45:15):
Looked like they've been in the fight in all of
these games.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
But see I mean, and I'm not saying they won't
take one from Love because they I mean, Bira Murphy Jr.
Had just the craziest game at Lambeau last year and
you were there, remember, I mean, he couldn't get a
get out of his way and they were picking on
him play after play after play. Then all of a sudden,
playing into what I was talking about about Love, And seriously,
(45:39):
that contract that he got is ridiculous. So until it's
not ridiculous because they're not going to be able to
fortify that village eventually, but we'll let it play out.
Then Love did what he does. He threw one of
those punt passes. Nobody's around except the other team. Murphy
intercepted it, Byron got a little confidence. Next possession or
within the next two, green Bay's moving again, Murphy punches
(46:01):
it away from Tucker crap by the sideline's. It was
an up and down day for that kind of plays
into the Love narrative.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
Didn't like they come storming back in that game.
Speaker 4 (46:11):
I remember it was the day after Albama played Georgia,
and it was almost like a similar formula in the
game while you're laughing because well it.
Speaker 3 (46:18):
Was twenty eight to nothing and then we loved speedy
but the moth I think that was just before halftime
or late stages of the second quarter, and then love
just emerged it. You almost went for four hundred yards
in this.
Speaker 4 (46:31):
Yeah, like out of nowhere, and I remember, but they
were playing soft zone like a lot of the game
and it just just ate it up. But yeah, I
mean the turnover stuff defensively, it's such an aspect of
this season. Last year, like the Vikings were really close
and leading THEE the NFL and turnovers this year they.
Speaker 1 (46:50):
Just haven't come.
Speaker 4 (46:51):
And like as boring and as non sexy as that
subject is, that's statistic.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
Is the game. Big John game wins the game.
Speaker 2 (46:59):
And from I shared this yesterday, Jordan Love week twelve
on as a starter, twenty five touchdowns, one interception. So
they tell me this is when he really gets hot
in regular season games.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
We'll find out get another opportunity this weekend. Isn't he
gonna I'm gonna see it at halftime a FA in
the packers.
Speaker 4 (47:20):
You're gonna be crossing paths with ed policy to go
to the bathroom up there the press box and you're
gonna he's gonna have thrown two picks and you're just
gonna wait.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
I love when you come to the box box at halftime,
so please do that again.
Speaker 3 (47:31):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (47:31):
Good.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
When we return, Sultan of Smug David Sinekon joins us
at Buffalo Wild Wings, Blaine, and we mix it up
