Speaker 1 (01:00):
You know the program? Uh the Pocket Protectors in town.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
Wow, there's eight of them? Too many real quickly?
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Other sad songs? Have you ever heard Cat Stephen's Father
and Son? Oh yeah, as good as one of the
greatest songs of all time?
Speaker 3 (01:17):
And someone brought up Puff the Magic Dragon. That's not
a heave cry when little.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Jackie Paper grows up and doesn't come to visit, uh
puff the magic dragon anymore, and his green scales fall
like rain and he goes back to his cave to
never play again.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
I thought it was about smoking wheed. It's not about
we That's what everybody says. You're not heave crying to
that song. Well you're tearing up sad song and say
so much. Wow. That one doesn't really do the cradle.
We talked about that one. How about this one?
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Now it's it's it's kind of this is gonna Maybe
this is the wrong thing to say. It's kind of cheesy.
You know who Bobby Goldsborough is, of course you don't. Yeah,
I never bought it.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
He did a song called The Honey. His wife dies
of cancer.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
In the song, they plant a tree together and so
he lets that tree grow and that's.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
His only reminder of her.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
It is literally got one of the saddest songs, and
it was a huge hit. And it's just, honey, look
at the tree, how big it's grown. And it's been
so long, it's been so long since it was just
a twig. And literally she dies in the middle of
the song from cancer or some insidious disease.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
It's awful. The premise is depressed.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
It is, Yeah, and think about somebody thought, I'm gonna
write a song about somebody whose wife dies of an.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Insidious degree disease.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
But we have that tree we planted all those years ago,
and I'll have that to remind me of her, just.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Like that book The Giving Tree. Wasn't that the book
right where the guy grows the tree with the kid
it ends up growing up and then he ends up
sitting on the stump after his dad's dead. My god,
don't you read that.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
I've heard that one after.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Well, on that note, well, we were just.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Talking to a little Bee said as she watched a
replay of a song last night by Chris Stapean who
Stephen Wilson. Stephen Wilson, And she was heave crying, and
so was all the members of the Powership except Corey.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Cove he's dead inside. Yeah, everybody was he crying. And
so we started watching.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
And then she asked about heave crying songs, and I said,
for me, it's frost, the snowmacks, it melts at the
very end.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
It's just and when you're a kid, it's devastating. What's devastating.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
There's a little there's just a little top hat sitting
in the pipe water.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
It's really sad. Anyway, we're here to play.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Program past play talking about depressing Why would you bring
that up?
Speaker 3 (03:47):
How did I get a Bears fan as a teammate,
by the way.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
On Twitter and I was like, fan, would you rather
have a Lions fan?
Speaker 3 (03:57):
By anything? Out for the year? Yeah, crush, he's there,
done well. He is so important to that time. Why
should we be the only team that loses an all
world tight end? It's only fair, No.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
It's absolutely year old.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
I think Tucker Craft means more to Green Bay than
I would agree. Well, it's just because Green Maade doesn't
they have anything else.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Now those packs of the receivers are gonna be exposed.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Oh the shot. Get you cocky over there with your
little seven and three Bay. You have a lot of
opinions today.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Hey, I've had a lot of time on the bottom here.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Has been able to cockey.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Give him his two weeks until reality in turn. There
you go, two weeks.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
You're ready for your program pastor preview.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, this is an NFC roundtables.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Sinny already mentioned it's Dave Sinnecon and Lavelle Neil versus
Common and Little Beat today. You can watch it right
now at KIFN dot com slash watch uh Common. You
have come in with a two game losing streak. You
are now ninety four and ninety two in your program
pastor career. The all time leader is Little B. She's
now up to one hundred and one wins?
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Is that right?
Speaker 1 (05:04):
One on one and seventy nine? You engineered the two
game winning streak.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Can course, I'm not sure you needed such a good
teammate to face us. To be honest with you, you
could have made a little lower for the petrol Little
Be during the break though. This is a lose lose
for us because if we went so well, you playing
two people that never rarely.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Play, yes, right, combined for what one hundred and ninety
five wins?
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
To play against two people that play every single week,
you know now that doesn't get so if we lose,
it's going to be embarrassing.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
It's like when the Gophers schedule Northeast West South Illinois.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
We are definitely the hyphenated team here. There's no question.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
All right, we'll be also should mention twenty twenty five
program passer and invitational champion.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah, we know.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
And the two of you together twenty four and sixteen
all time. I think it's we.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Used to play together quite often, but then it got
to the we rarely played a lot.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
We needed a great team like Sinning level to give
you competition.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
The lack of chemistry we're going to display is going
to be alarm I can't right now.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
So you guys are kind of you guys are the
same age roughly, aren't you. You both like football and sports,
and it's.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Guy and a Bears guy. It's it's oil and water.
I almost want to sabotage my team out of the gate.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
Here, just like a cow guy having dinner with a
Stanford guy or gal.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
This is frustrated.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
I did. By the way, if you could move a
little bit, you're right closer to level to get into
the screen. I can't flash there you go to see
you guys get together? Why do you wear your package jerseyward?
Earlier today one.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Noon, I just felt there was too much. Okay, I
got a hat, I got I'm good. Yeah, okay, did
you get booed where there's some Packer fans out the lustily, Yes,
there were a few Packer fans in the house. But yes,
as lusterly as I thought it was going to be.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Because Vikings fans are they're they're afraid, they know that
they're headed to doom this weekend.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Okay, well with that attitude, my guys said, I'm picking
the Packers because I want to. I'm picking them because
until I see a real professional quarterback performance by nine.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yeah, and for more than just one series, it's hard
for me. And it's I don't dislike the kid. I'm
not trying to hate on him, but I'm just saying
I haven't seen anything. So why am I supposed to
to think that this is the week?
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Now?
Speaker 2 (07:15):
He says, it's like a cork and at champagne bottle
it's about to burst.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
But we'll see maybe it does. This is something's gonna burst.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
This would be a great week to head the border
by the Battle Golf tournament.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Well, usually all Chili this time of the year, but still.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
I'd be out there. Yeah, I'd do it. Let's do it.
I'm playing tomorrow, are you. I'll just say this now.
I doubt it'll come up again on my two shows
over the weekend. But no team in the NFL has
a better home record from week twelve on in the
last seven years than the Green Bay Passes. So we
are just where we want to be. On Sunday, the
Frozen Tipping lost two in a row at that place.
(07:49):
It's time, It's time. Let's play.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Uh yeah, I was just gonna finish the program Passer preview. Lavelle,
you are two and four all time and four and Senny,
you've played twice. You are one and one.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yes, I don't have the anchor that is Pa is
my teammate today, so I'm feeling like I have a shot.
I'll play with B twice. I think my favorite player
in program past was Pa.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
You don't know what's coming out of that moth.
Speaker 3 (08:12):

Speaker 3 (23:15):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
It wasn't the last time I played one of the
worst games ever. Like, both teams are just diabolically bad.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Yeah, that's happen.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
I I was one half of a team that've got
zero points zero the worst.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
I'm always amazed when like writers come in here and
aren't good at program pass. You think like you supposed
to be the English language of the words?
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Is what's wrong with you? Beyond these? Use the word sale? Well,
maybe a discount, yeah, fire sale sale discount Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Unfortunately not with the ownership you think it, do you? Saale? Wow?
Speaker 4 (23:53):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (23:54):
Seventeen points away are common in a little b from victory.
It's sixty three to ten.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
To make our move now start time. Sinny and the
Bears have been doing it a second.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Cinny, and lit'll be take a look at the iPad please.
The password is peppermint. All right, Cinny, down fifty three points.
The option is yours could please be more professional? Would
you like to go first or second?
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Do we need a chuckle in your voice as you've
never really such a first show man?
Speaker 1 (24:27):
You're doing fifty three? Uh, Cinny, I need you to
move back closer to Lavelle.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
To my guy, closer to Lavelly. This is just I'm
in hell right.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Now, Cinny. It's the options on you. You want to
go first or second?
Speaker 3 (24:40):
I guess I'll go first, all right, Damie feeling good
about my chances here?
Speaker 1 (24:46):
All right, Davey and Leabelle for ten Patty Wagon, we'll
be in common for nine Candy.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Peppermint. I never would have gotten that, No, I never would.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
I should have gone second, made a second.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
I just I'm gonna head off to miss lil d,
the all time password champion. I can't give her first run.
But that was that was the word where I probably
should have gone second.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
All right, here's a rat common will be you're eight
points away from a victory. You have seventy two points,
so any correct answer that it is eight or more.
You are victorious level and sending you guys are just
seventy points away?
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Do we need to stretch a little bit here? So
we have the stretch.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
I already have it planned, already have a question for
Leavell after the stands effect perfect.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Well, I was going to start asking you guys about
your childhoods.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Do you have a cow check it laid down, Leve
Levell in common take a look at the iPad please?
The password is dot slipped that over there, Leavell.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
I don't even think if I looked at it it
would help me at this point.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
All right, Levell, you're down sixty two points.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
What's the biggest get on.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
The screen so we can see LaBelle There you go.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
There's been a shutout.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
You said, yeah, okay, yeah, this might be the second
word store of all time, though this might be the second. Lavell,
do you want to go first or second? Options on you?
We'll go first, Lavell and Cinny for test.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
We don't learn from our past mistakes.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
Polka dot Oh, I didn't.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Know what you're saying. Well, and typically you were asking
Milwaukee by polka. I'm going to get up and dance,
so I got died. That was a good clue.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
All right, it's not over yet, little momentum for Cinny
and Lavell. It's seventy two to twenty. Sinny and Lit'll
be take a look at the iPad. The password is tackle.
All right, Cinny, let's try to get two in a
(26:57):
row here. You're down fifty two out the option. What
do you want to do here? First or second? I
will go first, Sinny and Lavelle for ten.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
This is a mistake.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Five seconds ticker, Lit'll be in common for nine and
the win.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
Defensive tackle. Have just tried to call up a tackle.
I couldn't pick him a bear's tackle off the top
of my head. And if I said daris saw, you
would have said Christian. So I couldn't go Darisaw.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
You just had a lot of mistackles in that game.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
We did that.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Lavelle, you were just.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
A pack of reference. And now I think my work
here is done.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Lavell, you were you were watching some curling this story
on the Peterson Gals.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
Right, yeah, they're in the story. I was at the
US Curling Trials last week, and do.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
You like curling or was it just an assignment? You said,
I'll do that one. Why not that at least to
a long answer common clearly by the way, by the way,
real quickly it says sale was actually a word.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
A couple of years ago, Meets's first clue was christ the.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Worst clue ever, was really bad. Yes, it was that
the fair Yeah, that's him and sorry.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
I met John Schuster, uh, the face of the US
curling at the Loon Cafe in twenty fourteen, two weeks
before they were headed to the Olympics that year. I
believe it was Assulcie Games, and so I know crap
about curling, and we sat there.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
There's some curling on for somehow some ways.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
So we were going over curling and stuff, and I
was talking with him and Tyler George, you know, I said, okay,
nice guys.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
You know, I like to throw back a few great no.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
Four years later, twenty eighteen, I run under John Schuster
again at a bar in lily Dale called the Moose Country,
which is close.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
It was there. Yeah, right, you said the if they Tuesday?
Speaker 4 (29:00):
Oh yeah, And it was a week before their ahead
at the Peongyang to go to the Olympics. There and
once again we talked a little bit more so I
kind of was starting to watch, and I was at
spring training during the twenty eighteen games when he got
that five, made that incredible shot against Sweden to get five,
I guess it's not a coped points, call it a
(29:22):
quad to beat the Sweden and the gold medal game.
So I kind of knew the basics and stuff. And
then I went to the Olympics in twenty twenty two
and covered curling for the first time.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
I saw the thing about curling is that everybody knows
each other. Everybody's like cool with each other. Wow, just
the big Reek.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
There was a rematch of twenty twenty two between Spain
and USA and the players are like cracking jokes and
shucking and jiving between shots, which you can't see if
you're watch it on television, but if you're looking at
the rink and you look at the ice, I'm sorry
to sheet, and they're all just having a good time
with each other. It's like, don't you know, go medals
on the line here? You know That's what I'm saying,
But that's that's the curling community. So it was funny
(30:00):
at all three teams, the Pearston team, the Shuster, I'm sorry.
The pears rink, the Shuster Rink, and Danny Casper all
had went the Airbnb route and Sioux Falls and Casper's
was next to the Shusters.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
They were I read it they were hanging out with
each other at night.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
And caster Casper ended up winning knocking Shuster office pedals.
So in an incredible run of going to five and
second of the Olympics. Now Casper has to go to
the Olympic qualification event in British Columbia next month.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Top two get there, yea, yeah, Now Peters have to
go there too.
Speaker 4 (30:31):
Historically the United States huse he qualifies by now because
he's based on points you gain playing at the World Championships.
But Shuster's team, I think there were a couple of
injuries so they couldn't compete or something, and both went
not because of crazy and both the Peterson sisters, Tabitha
and Tarje had babies during this last cycle, so you know,
(30:53):
team had enough points of qualifile magically, so they have
to come in and do it this way.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
So we're not bringing the Olympics this year. We're not going.
We're not going to Italy.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
It's just too expensive and it's too bad because in
twenty twenty two we had thirty minutes Sultans on the
on the Winter Olympics team, and there was a reason
to get up every morning to write a story. And
I understand how much this stuff means to min the Sultans.
So I really wanted to go to Italy, but just
couldn't work. I mean, I wish our paper was there,
didn't have to be making somebody, but this is like
(31:25):
the one of the last main events before an Olympics,
so I felt it was important to go on.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
Right, It was well done, you did nice work. Thank you. Appreciation,
yes very much. So, uh you're was that in a filler?
Who do you? Who do the Bears? I forget who's
we're homingus? Pittsburgh? Oh it should be a game. I
I'll pick the Bears.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
That's gonna be a tough on. Pittsburgh's defense is no joke.
Rogers questionable that I see. He'll we never heard yet
broken left for He'll pluck the intro.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
He owns the team. He should play the play the
darn game, I think.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
But you know, with a fractured wrist, you know he's
got to be able to if he lands on it.
He gets up, and then you're really doing some major damage.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
So the new course host the Purple and the kiddies
host Commanders.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
I think West No Giants. Giants, right, Jameis Winston coming
to your house. We could lose this game. No, you
guys don't lose after losing a game. No, they've got
no running game. Now. Thursday is another story.
Speaker 4 (32:20):
Now, the cancel line's good if you go forward to
me too, Me too.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Thanksgiving, the Bears almost beat your team. I Thanksgiving last year.
That was a year ago. That was that.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
That was one of those heber flu mismanaged games.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Yeah, I thought I I don't think it was as bad.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
I think everybody wanted a scapegoat, so they picked Avers.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
It wasn't that bad for my recollection.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Actually, a Black Friday game is Bears at Eagles.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
I love that. I'll be driving home from Milwaukee listening
to that. Seven and five. I'm hoping that we're eight
and four.
Speaker 6 (32:54):
Yeah, I get that, And then and then we'll need
two more wins our last five games, which would be Packers, Browns,
Packers forty nine Ers, Lions.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
That's the guy. Thanks Ron, Thanks for coming in, guys,
thanks for having us. I wish we were a couple,
right we did. We were not blanked. No, it will
be as always. Thank you, Thanks guys. We'll take a break.
We'll come back to our star memorial owers. Next turn
the fan.
