Speaker 1 (00:00):
Human, Hey, want to chime in.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What's happening with your favorite kmfan program? Make your voice
heard on the Bradshawn Brian text line.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Let us know.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
We have to say by texting messages six four six
eighty six that six four six eight six stand our
message and data rates play something, even this.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
One Orange Crush.

Speaker 5 (00:32):
It would be good for the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
So the beginning reminded me of from Dire Straits money
for Nothing in Your Chicks for Free, And a.

Speaker 5 (00:46):
Deuce was getting ready for work today. I was singing
that song and go. That song kind of bugs me.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Go, dude, I remember back in eighty six when it
first came out at the jukebox at the Oasis Bar
in Camera, Wyaoming.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
It was always on.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
It was it that was as big a hit in
nineteen eighty six as any other song.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
It might have been the biggest hit of nineteen eighty six.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
And you know the key line is you know that
ain't work and that's how you do it, money for
Nothing in your Chicks for Free? And I said the deuce,
I said, well here, let me explain to you this way.
Tell me if you like the song better. Now would
you rather go to your job today and look at
rate and analytical charts for electrical stuff?

Speaker 5 (01:33):
Or would you rather.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Be banging on the bongos like a chimpanze which is.

Speaker 5 (01:39):
Another line in the song.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
And he said, I think I'd rather be banging on
the bongos like a chimpanzee. Noth that he isn't like
his job. But it's money for nothing in your chicks
for free.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
If you're in a band, why do think Hockey's in
a band? Of hockey? Chris Hackey's in a band? Why
would he?

Speaker 4 (01:57):
That's why he's in a band, because it's cool. So anyway,
that's neither here nor there.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
What is?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Five?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Three?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Four?

Speaker 6 (02:08):
Time now? Four?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Five questions?

Speaker 5 (02:13):
Well, actually three, but five sounds like more than four.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
Question number one it's time now four is a low
down in Dinky Town.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
The Gophers men's basketball team, already missing three of their
top eight players because of injury. Upset number twenty two
Indiana seventy three sixty four last at the barn, All
five starters scored in double figures. Minnesota rebounded Indiana forty
to twenty five, and the defense held the Hoosiers to
thirty three percent shooting in the second half.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
You're not talking Timberwolves here.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I don't know common what's stick out to you from
last night's court storming win that they're.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
The opposite of the Timberwolves. Do you ever hear that?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Cloches?

Speaker 5 (03:01):
And I mean, there's a reason.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Cliches are cliches, because they're generally true. Gave it the
old college drive because you talk about being young and
wild and free. You know, you're just out of high school.
You're out, you're away from home for the first time,
especially if you're living on campus, right And I don't
know if all athletes have to live on campus.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
I'm not sure how that works. But they just love it.
They're out there.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
They're playing for the love of the game man and
money in some cases. I get that. I mean, now
with nil, I mean it's it's not all. It's not
as pure, or at least as pure as we used
to think it was. But there were some quotes in
the fish Wrap Factory West Side from from last night's
game Let's see Chip rode about it? Was from was

(03:47):
it the Gamer? Or was it from.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Let's go to Chip story? Where's the there's a go
to quote here?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
That was really good. Here it is says the Gover's
depth that this is leading up to it says the
Gopher's depth is thinner than flass because of injuries Chip Rights,
losing a senior point guard and floor leaders hardly ideal

(04:18):
for a coach trying to elevate a program in his
first season, but whining about it gets nowhere. Medved's message
to his players was direct, respond pressed forward, leaning on
each other.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
He said, you just tell him the truth.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
You can't say, well, you guys are gonna play more minutes,
so let's not play as hard now. Let's try to
save yourself to play all those minutes.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
There's none of that.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
There's no choice, just the opposite approach at the bar
that there is over at the bull's eye.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Try try again. That's what I got out of that.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
And look, I after they lost, you know, they they
want other games at william and they were at Williams
last night, so they wont at home and they've lost.
But the teams they've beaten haven't been sure, you know,
so I was thinking, Wow, maybe it's going to be
you know, I said this, Yes, Remember I said, I
just I do like college basketball so much especially the

(05:17):
NCAA tournament, and it's just so much fun when your
team is involved in the NSC. You wait for the seeding,
you can even get to be like the players, you
know where they should we're all of a sudden they
show the camera and they'll go, you know, uh, Drake
gets the twelve seed and you.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
See the kids are all jumping up and down. You
get like that as a fan.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
You're going where we're going to go and Golden Gophers
they'll be playing in the southeast, southwest, northern Michigan wherever,
and all of a sudden.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
They're you know, they're they're the eighth seed or whatever.
You get excited and you go, cool, this is fun.
We don't have that here, and that's what I'd like
to see. And now after a game like last night.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
I said yesterday, I think we're going says this is
this is gonna be a longer rebuild that I was hoping.
You kind of hope that new coach brings in new
players Voi la. It changes in a game. One game
is not a program, make or a season. But it's fun.
You beat it ranked team, you get a win right away. Okay,
now there'll be some I'm sure I didn't watch into
the NCAA basketball coverage, you know, on the on the

(06:14):
talk shows on TV and stuff, or I'm on Sports
Center and at that, but I'm.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
Sure the Gophers get a little bit of conversation.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Hey, Nico Medvett is first season with the golphers a
spring it up set.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
They beat number two Indiana, so it's cool.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
I love it, and I also hope they can keep
keep playing like they did last night. Question number two,
Programming predicamental.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yes, the Timberwolves are at New Orleans to take on
the Pells tonight. Of course, they beat the Pells overtime
Tuesday night. Now they get the Pells again tonight at
seven pm. You can watch that game on FanDuel Sports
Network or listen to it on the iHeartRadio app. The
Wild are in Calgary tonight to take on the Flames.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
That's an eight pm puck drop.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
You can watch it on FanDuel Sports Network Plus or
listen to it here on the fan. The Gopher's hockey
team is at Ohio State. That's a six thirty pm
start on Big Ten Network. And you're Detroit Lions host
of Dallas Cowboys tonight at seven fifteen pm on Prime
for Thursday Night Football. Common What are you gonna do
about tonight's programming predicament?

Speaker 3 (07:21):
It doesn't I think you gave him to.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Actually, I was gonna go with this, Yeah, I douce
and I have to watch.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
I'm expecting to.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
L really.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Well, they're just not you know, I want of Rosen Will.
Now remember when Rosen said their window was closed.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
That he changed his mind.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
Yeah, he should have stuck with his original his original opinion,
because I do think their windows closed. I mean, you know,
maybe next year healthy again and some acquisitions.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
But that.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
I guess Ben Johnson meant more to the club than
I really believed. I just thought the offensive coordinator stuff
little overrated that you know, you have your offense in place.
From what I understand, the John Morton guy that took over,
he didn't change much. Was almost like, hey, bet before
you leave, can you leave that playbook with me?

Speaker 6 (08:20):
Sure?

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Here, you go, knock yourself out. And they were going
to basically run the same kind of offense with rag
Noow retired, by the way, do you think he you
know when we there were speculation that.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
It was a a.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Soft benching for McCarthy, remember that with the ankle Yes,
remember the announcement at the beginning of last week Glasgow
coming out of retirement. Then conveniently after the after they
lose to Green Bay on Thanksgiving the next day, it's like,
I fail physical. Do you think he just went I've

(08:57):
changed my mind, man, I thought you guys were headed somewhere.
I can see that this is not going to be fun.
I think that's what happened. I think it was a
software re retireing contary. I just their offensive line isn't
very good. They can't get to the court. Maybe that
was just because green Bay's offensive line is so good.
But Love stood back there all day and carved the
kiddies at part And I don't think a mom Ross

(09:18):
Saint ROWND is going to play.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Do we know yet?

Speaker 3 (09:20):
I thought he was listening as questionable. I haven't heard
anything today.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
He has a low ankle sprain rather than a high
ankle spraying, and a low is better than a high
is probably better than a mid ankle spraying too. So well,
without him, they're real. I just and then the port
is out and then we all have injuries. I just
don't think they're the same team. And I don't think
Campbell with the offensive lines. And then I think with Campbell,
and look, I love the Dan Gamble Campbell when they

(09:44):
would go for a fourth down deuce, and I would
swallow hard a lot of times, as cons is what
we do those So let's just embrace it.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
And it worked for them for two years against green Bay.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Green Bay went for it on fourth down three times,
converted all three, Detroit twice and did not. And I
think part of it is, see, here's the problem. Campbell's
mentality is getting him in trouble. I think he's the
guy that thinks if we play a more physical game
than the other team, we cannot lose. And so on
a fourth and four on my offensive line is going

(10:13):
to blow up in a hole for Jamire Gibbs. Maybe
fourth and one, maybe fourth and two. But when you're
trying to run it on fourth and four into a
good defense, why are you doing that?

Speaker 5 (10:28):
Not again at the play at worked. I might be
sitting in a different tune or at least in a
different key, but I just don't like.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
And Dallas, who I just despise the America's team thing.
They're playing pretty good. I think it was you who
told me. Their offense can can keep up with anybody, right, Yes,
the defense that has had trouble, so maybe that'll help Detroit.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
But I just their defense has actually been playing better
I recently.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
Yeah, I mean I think de Troy cauld Win.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
I mean it's not like I think, you know, do
you just go ahead and you know, you know, forfeit it.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
But I think it's going to be trouble for the Troit.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
And that's it for today's edition of five questions. Well
actually three questions, but five sounds like more than four.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
There is the wall between the pipes tonight, no gust buss.
There's basically they're going every other. They're rotating at this
point because they're both playing well.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
Pushing each other.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
We like it.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
I wonder if they'll be bored like the Wolves, and
obviously really want to play these games.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
I just want to get to the playoffs. They haven't
shown any of that in the month in November.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
That's no, we'll break, We'll come back one more quickie
and then a little spreads wring here in the pan.

Speaker 2 (12:00):

Speaker 5 (12:18):
This sounds exact, why not exactly? Fairly is good?

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Though, I guess you can probably fool people, including myself.
I like to think I've you're fairly good understanding of
music and the sounds of different bands, but can tell
the difference between AI in real music or the difference between.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
What do we call this, you.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Know, not licensed music, just sure whatever, whatever we call it.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
But it sounds a lot like Steely Dan.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
What's the name of this one yacht on the rocks?

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (12:51):
See, you know Steely Dan is considered yacht rock.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
I read a story on my handheld computer which doubles
as a communication device within the last couple of months,
and I was talking about the yacht rock and it
was ranking the yacht rock teams and then teams, yeah, bands,
and then trying to get comments from them, and they
put Steely Do on that list and they basically said, well,

(13:20):
you know what you can do because they don't consider
themselves loves yeah, you know they had. They're they're very
pretentious the right word. Uh. Walter Becker is no longer
with us, but Don Fagan of Steely Dan there, they.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Think pretty highly. They're really good. They're one of my
favorite bands of all time. They're top ten band for sure,
maybe even top five.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
But anyway, Oh, Adam Thielen he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaker 5 (13:49):
That I hear that, right?

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Do we know?

Speaker 5 (13:50):
Do we have any indication?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
I'm sorry, I was listening to a liner off off
Adam Thielen.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
He sounded yes, do we know? Do we have any indication?
Are we sure? Because that's what I thought I heard.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
No, Yeah, he's he's already been at their practice. Okay,
they picked him off.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
Waivers couldn't have been his first choice, right, I mean,
because he asked for his release. His representation approached the
Vikings front office said.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Look, I'm guessing it was a choice. If I would have,
I would assume they would call him and go, hey,
if we pick up Waivers, do you want to play
here before?

Speaker 4 (14:28):
No? But what I mean is, do you think he
had multiple teams to choose from and.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
Select the Steelers? That's what I mean.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
I mean of course, he had a choice to either
sign with Pittsburgh or not. I'm saying, if you wanted
to play for a team that you thought, because I
think he'd liked. Part of wanting to is to be
involved in a playoff team, a team that has a
chance to get.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
To the big game.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Sure, Pittsburgh's got just as good a chance as you
and I do. I think, can I love and I
you know.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
I have nothing. I I harborn and wheel will toward
the Steelers or a rog matter.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
Of fact, part of because I thought the Viking should
have won a different direction of quarterback almost wants me
to see a Rodger do really well, just see what
you could have had instead of just thinking we can
just plug in a rookie with no experience that we
didn't even let play in preseason.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
This year except for like what one series or quarter
or whatever it was.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
But I don't I have to imagine his options were
limited to begin with, because one, if you're not a
playoff team, you're not going to pick him up off waivers, right,
so you're already limiting thirteen fourteen of the thirty two teams.
And then on top of that, you need to have
a hole at wide receiver, which a lot of those
teams don't have, right, I mean, if you're the Cincinnati Bengals,

(15:37):
you're not picking up at him feeling off the waivers, right,
the LA Rams are not picking up Adam Feeland, you know,
because he clearly wants to play as well. Part of
it was he wasn't playing in Minnesota. So Pittsburgh in
that regard, a team that still could make the playoffs,
they can win their division. I mean wide receiver after
DK Metcalf, they're about as thin as anybody at a

(16:03):
quarterback that he's friends with.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Apparently.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Yeah, well that's what I read that, because you know,
both of them play golf a feeling obviously a lot
better than a Rogers's gonna get a PGA Tour card
when his career is over. But they've played those celebrity
golf tournaments together and apparently even chatter with each other.
But would it be fun to play with each other someday?
And so they're going to get that opportunity, and oh

(16:25):
I wish him, well, it'd be cool if Pittsburgh, you know,
where are they tied first?

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Tied with Baltimore.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I think Baltimore tically is the tiebreaker right now, and
and tennally, Cincinnati's not out of it even though they
are four and eight, but both those other teams are
six and six and they got burrowback.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Pittsburgh's a quality club, but they're just they seem to
be that. Ah, they're all right, you know, all right,
they're better when they're they're better than average.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
But I just it would it would be to me.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Rogers has dropped off a bit here, and I don't
know if it's injuries catching up to him.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
It would be a remark couple store if that team
want a big game, it's one of this.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Yeah they didn't win, you know, That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
It would be a remarkable story if they did. I mean,
because they're uh.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
They're just not They're only consideration because they're divisions so bad. Yeah,
that's it, And so best of luck to because even
Baltimore since Lamar jacks Lamar Jackson's not the same guy
right now now. If he ever, I'm assuming it's all
health related. He's not running as much as he used
to for some reason. He becomes one hundred percent of
healthy and flips the switch. I would say, Hey, Baltimore
can go on a run. But yeah, they've had a

(17:30):
couple of games in a row now where he's looked awful.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
What dumb? Why would you say, will play Calgary tonight?

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (17:40):
What if the Wild get up to a two nothing
lead tonight?

Speaker 3 (17:42):
I would think that would be a great idea.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
Well, it's always good at lead, but I'm thinking they
should keep the game scores as long as possible.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
What do you know about Calgary? Are they any good?
Eethers of the National Hockey League or whatever?

Speaker 2 (17:57):
They right now have the worst record the National Hockey
League at nine.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
The Minnesota are just kidding the the what is the
worst team in the NFL? Who's only got one win?

Speaker 2 (18:08):
That?

Speaker 5 (18:09):
Which team?

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (18:10):
New Orleans?

Speaker 5 (18:12):
Maybe New Orleans?

Speaker 2 (18:13):
It was not the Jets anymore? Tennessee, that's right, Tennessee.
So they're like they're already talking about in Tennessee about
well they might draft a quarterback a number one, even
though they just got a quarterback at number one.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
But I heard also that this is going to be
a weak quarterback class. But is there even one guy
that stands out in college? Where you go, Well, this
one guy is good? I know, it's not as deep
as like the one that allegedly that we got McCarthy
and they had six guys.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
I haven't put in my draft prepped yet.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
I did see a mock draft the other day where
it looked like quarterbacks are going to go one and two.
Now I don't know what that means, right, Like cam
Ward don't number one last year, but he wasn't even
when he went number one, he wasn't thought to be
a generational quarterback, right, you know, you know we'd even
talked about you know, if cam Ward had been in
the previous draft, he probably would have been like in

(19:01):
the JJ McCarthy range.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
You know, he wasn't.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
He wasn't gonna being taken ahead of Daniels or may
or Caleb Williams. So I'm looking forward to spread swing,
I really am. Oh by the way, a quick question
for you. Are we doing up program password tomorrow?

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Well, Nolo'll be no. Oh that's right, Well Bey's out
the next two weeks, nice to herd of care. So
tomorrow we have a champion, not a password, but just
a champion in an athletic sport. That would be Caleb
Truax is coming into Oh the legendary one he's gonna play,
Mike Grim's gonna play, and Eric Nordquest Nordo.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Those would be the three in tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
He's the former International Boxing Federation soup by Mitaway Champ
into the world, Please welcome from Ossio, Caleb.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
Gold and true Bax. He was a forty to one underdog.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Would he'd be James Gale forty to one underdog forty.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
To one in boxing boxing one, Yeah, it's.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Likely he's going to get destroyed.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
And then he ended up winning and actually, you know what,
it was a really it was a close fight in
the rematch in Truex offered him a rematch right away,
said sure, And I know you're gonna think this is
being a homer, but it's I had.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
Caleb was mad at me one time he fought I'll
look up the name.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
I can't remember the name off him, but it was
it was a national guy fought here locally and the.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
Judges saw it as a draw.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
In Truex was annoyed any guy that loses in a
draw things. He won, right, and he came up to
me after the fight. He goes, come on, what.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
Did you think?

Speaker 4 (20:39):
And I said, because I score as I go along.
That's what you're supposed to do. You watch the round.
You either call it ten ten. If you think it's
even a ten point munster, you go ten to nine
and if a guy gets knocked down, it's ten eight.

Speaker 5 (20:50):
But usually all rounds are ten nine, right, So I was.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
I looked at him. I said, I had her to
draw too, come on, comm and so he was a
little annoyed with me. But I call it as I
sees it. So I'm not a homer, though I do
Pulfrid Caleb obviously when he fights.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
But I thought he I thought he.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
The second fight where he lost in the in the rematch,
I thought he actually won more decisively in that fight
than he did the one before.

Speaker 5 (21:18):
But then the official the judges saw it different.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Will take a break, comeback, Rosen joins us, as does
do sit spread.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Swing right here in the fan.

Speaker 2 (21:43):

Speaker 5 (22:01):
A very lightly You make your time I rose and
a eye off here.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Basically, well, you know what he said to me, I
don't even know why I come in here. Well, I
tapped him right away as soon as.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
He came in. I have a point sort of Yeah, good.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
To see you.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
Nice to be here.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
Yeah, I don't think I believe he said.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
I don't really don't. I don't really believe that. But
it's good to see you. Is Deuce there? Head out,
punch him up. Oh, I don't dare.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
I'll hang up on him. I was waiting for you
to do it. I need help and everything I do.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
I thought you've been doing that the whole year. Yes,
I have. Let me see if I can, I just
put him on. Don't do it now.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
Deuce is on the Cainetical Water Systems hotline.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
Well, I know you like your job, Duce, but what
you you told me this morning you'd.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Rather be banging on the bongos like a chimpanzee.

Speaker 7 (22:48):
Bang on the bongo was like a chimpanzee. Wouldn't be
too bad? Money for nothing? Then your six for free?

Speaker 5 (22:53):
Correct?

Speaker 4 (22:53):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (22:54):
My spread swing is in die or straight?

Speaker 3 (22:58):
We done? What I just that's pretty good, very good one.
That is very good well done.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
We are at spread swing, Deuce at work, Rosen here
in studio, U Timby, where are we at and in
spread swing? After last week's results, I know, I think
I'm in some trouble.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
I think you'd be surprised.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
So God, you took it on the chin.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Oh, the thing was more than just the chin.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Going into last week, I was in first place with
sixty one points, Deuce was in second with thirty seven
and a half com and you were in third with
thirty seven and Rosen was in last place with one point. Hey, hey,
youngster Rosen, you're you did at least make a little
bit of progress this week. You had the Chargers minus

(23:44):
nine against Las Vegas. They won that one by seventeen,
so you gained eight points there. Wow, you had a
slight loss in your other one. You had Miami minus six.
They won by four twenty one seventeen over New Orleans.
So he lost two there, but on the week he
gained six. He went from one to seven points. Common
you were in third place, and you had best lousiest

(24:05):
lousiest to the best type of week because your kiddies
and not do too well on Thanksgiving. They lost the
Packers by seven. You had a minus two and a half,
so you lost nine and a half there. But Monday
night was a good one for you because you had
the Patriots minus seven against the Giants and they won
by eighteen. He gained eleven. On the week, he gained
a point and a half. You're now at thirty eight

(24:26):
and a half points.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Deuce.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
You snite me on the Tampa based election and they
ended up just getting zero points for you. They were
minus three against Arizona they won by three, so you
got nothing there. And then you had Cleveland plus five
against the forty nine ers. They lost by eighteen. Ooh,
she lost thirteen points there. You dropped down to twenty
four and a half points. And get ready to laugh.

(24:51):
Get ready to laugh a lot. Here was my weekend.
I had Baltimore minus seven against the Bengals.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
They lost thirty two fourteen. Oh my god, so I
lost twenty five points there Joe Burrow's return.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Then I had Tennessee plus six and a half against Jacksonville.
They lost by twenty two. I lost fifteen and a half.
So I lost forty and a half points on the week.
I've dropped from first place to third place.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
So now Common, you're in the lead, thank you, with
thirty eight and a half points, Deuce, and second with
twenty four and a half points. I'm in third with
twenty and a half points.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
Rosen.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
All of a sudden, not out of it, You're in
fourth with seven points. It's anybody's NFL spread Sea, and
all is right with the world. So the order today
will be Rosan, Me, Deuce Common.

Speaker 6 (25:43):
Spread Swing.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
Before we do our first pick.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
I just want to text me, I says, common spread
Swing is my favorite segment on the fan. Oh, I
get more than the initials game, password and gerbishmid. I
love hearing you of the cat rose in trying not
to be a homer and take the vikings, attempt to
give an original opinion, but especially Deuce giving a long
winded explanation of his.

Speaker 5 (26:07):
Pick that ultimately gets absolutely crushed. Yeah, it's very good.
All right, who's up?

Speaker 8 (26:15):
I'm up, and I'm not going to wait any further
than tonight. I should have stuck to my guns to
the beginning. No, I'm not going to snipe Common, he's
gonna I should have. I should have stuck to my
guns at the beginning of a year when I said the
Lion's window was closed. They had their chances to go
to the big game in the last two years and they're
not going to get back. Their offensive line is now

(26:37):
a mess.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Uh. They do miss Ben Johnson.

Speaker 8 (26:40):
Dan Campbell thinks he's the smartest guy in the room,
going for fourth down all the time, and he's oll
for seven I think now his last seven times. As
I'm on Saint Brownie playing to I don't think he
might be Dallas is hot. I gotta like the way
they're playing right now. Uh, they look like they were
dead and out gone for any playoff consideration. But I

(27:01):
think the Vikings have a little bit of a blueprint
as far as getting after Golf and putting some pressure
on him, because you know, he's a great quarterback.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
He's got time.

Speaker 8 (27:08):
Unless Jamier Gibbs runs for one hundred and ninety yards tonight,
I just don't see he's right doing it. Even though
they're at home. Big game for both teams, a lot
of fun to watch them. I got me convinced maybe
you should double down in this game. Now, I'm not
gonna double down, but I'm just gonna take the take
the boys over the kiddies in the litter box. I
get three points, so I will go with with Dallas
and Ceedee Lamb and Pickens and Dak Prescott and see

(27:32):
if they can light it up tonight.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Jameson Brown and the Leader. This week.

Speaker 6 (27:40):
Spread sway, so.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Just be fun to watch.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
I hope this isn't coming off as a desperation after
losing forty one points last week. But it's time to
use the first double down. Wait till December. We saved
it and I'm going to take a big point spread
game to do it. The La Rams are minus eight

(28:09):
at Arizona this week.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Wait a minute, that's at Arizona? Is that Arizona? You
sent the correction?

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Yes, I just put the bold on the wrong team,
but it still says that Arizona. I know LA is
coming off a loss last week against Carolina that was
just a weird, wacky game. This is just bizarre plays,
bizarre turnovers. I still think the La Rams might be
the best team in football. I think they are a
big game contender. They are going to bounce back. They're

(28:36):
indoors at Arizona against a team that has won one
game in their past ten, and LA has had games
in which they are able to be teams by twenty
four to twenty eight points. I'm going to hope they
do another twenty four point type victory. I double down,
I get to my thirty two points, I will take
the La Rams and Matthew Stafford minus eight at Arizona.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
They should crush them spread.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
Long winded one.

Speaker 7 (29:07):
But I got nights here, so this might even be
a little more long winded than usual. I was gonna
take the Rams gladly because I think they'll destroy the
Arizona Cardinals. I'm gonna be waiting a little bit for
my first game. I'm gonna wait till Monday night. The
Eagles traveled to Los Angeles to play the Chargers. These
are a couple of teams that have kind of been

(29:30):
floundering as of late. The Eagles have lost a couple straight.
I think just last week they lost to the Bears
and the Chargers. Was this this last week where they
got I think destroyed by Jacksonville.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Maybe that was maybe Vegas last week by sev.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
I think that.

Speaker 7 (29:45):
Yeah, Oh, okay, but.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
Herbert just had a surgery.

Speaker 5 (29:48):
Yeah, Herbert had surgery.

Speaker 7 (29:50):
Okay, that's right. Well, I'm not following LA Charger football.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
So you didn't even know that their quarterback had surgery,
throwing him no idea diamond Joe's folks and take whatever
the opposite of Winduce picks.

Speaker 7 (30:03):
Well, I'm taking the away team. I'm going with the
philadelph quality football team, and I don't think they're lost
to the Bears. Is anything to worry about if you're
a Philly fan. I think that the Bears are actually
for real. I like what I saw from them last week,
and I think that Philly is going to come in
with a bounce back to victory over a Chargers team

(30:24):
that's good but not great. They'll give me the Eagles
minus three.

Speaker 6 (30:30):
Spread swing.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
It's not the year the cat. We know that now.

Speaker 7 (30:41):
Fish.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
It's for you to say, who do you talking about this?

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Yeah, they'll put up thirty four on this Dallas defense tonight.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Yeah, the only problem is your defense will get thirty
five or more.

Speaker 5 (31:01):
I'll go with them.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
You know again, It's like, I don't believe a lot
of people will say this when when they when they're
talking about games, to hear people say it all the time,
Well they are a desperate team. Well there's a reason
they're desperate because they're not very good that are in
a position. They put themselves in a position to be desperate.
And just because you're desperate doesn't mean you're going to
play any better. I mean both teams are desperate for

(31:23):
when Detroit needs to win to have I mean they're
I think, two games out of the playofferation right now,
they have no chance to win the division. I mean
then let's well, realistically.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
The Packers aren't.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
They aren't collapsing and they lost the tiebreaker.

Speaker 5 (31:38):
They're literally they've they've.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
Lost both games to the Packers that they lost the
tiebreaker too. So not that if Green Day wins the division, but.

Speaker 5 (31:46):
They could still be Chicago. So I don't like.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
The offensive line is a mess Defensively, I don't know.
I don't know how much give more credit to the
Green Bay offensive line or the lock a passworsh by
Detroit because uh, they didn't. They didn't get near uh
Jordan Love last weekend. So I mean, I'll take the Lions.
It's it's it's uh. I'm probably the only one I

(32:11):
feel like Daniel and the Lions Den, But I'll take
the Lions.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
And I got to give my.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
Lions.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Terrible was my favorite part. Terrible cheerleaders.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Why leaders wise beyond Ears wise, beyond the spread swing.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
Up again?

Speaker 8 (32:43):
All right, we're going first. Well, there are some great
matchups this weekend. There are playoff implications for a lot
of games. It's probably the best weekend of the season
so far. Really, yeah, I think so overall. We had
green in Chicago.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Well that's where I'm going to go.

Speaker 8 (32:59):
Yeah, we know the Bears history of trying to win
a game at lambeau Field.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
It ain't good.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
You're gonna take the Bears, aren't y?

Speaker 4 (33:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (33:06):
I sure am. I just like the fact that they
gets seven, seven points. Well, I love Kevin Warren and
the Bears. You know, that's my adopted team as well,
So I do think that they can. Their running game
has been fantastic. I want to see Ben Johnson take
his shirt off at lambeau Field after he beats the Packers,
and I just I think the Bears are starting to

(33:27):
feel it a little bit. And I love the fact
that there's seven point underdogs. That's number one. I mean,
this was a toss up. I'd probably take the Packers,
but they're not. And then it's called spread swinging for
a reason. So I like the fact I'm getting seven again.
I don't think Brett favar A Rodgers is going to
step on the field for Green Bay. Jordan loves good.
I like the Bears confidence level right now, and I'll

(33:49):
take the seven points and go with the Bears.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
Chicago is a tough guy.

Speaker 8 (33:53):
Yeah, you're right it is. I think they'll have a
chance of upsetting.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
Him spread swinging.

Speaker 5 (34:04):
I don't know about to get smile.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
No, I don't think you would touch this game.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Colts right now favored by two points at Jacksonville. That
would be an AFC South Division collision. Maybe the winner
of this game is going to win the division. And
as we now know, Daniel Jones is playing on a
fractured fibula that ain't getting better.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
But then you know it's not a muscle injury that
can just get better.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
All a sudden feeling, I wouldn't touch that game.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
What do I got circled Jacksonville? That's the game. I
almost took that one.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
But he's playing with a fractured fibula and he's done
it the last two weeks and now teams are just like,
all right, we are just going to go all in
on stopping Jonathan Taylor and they have they've contained Jonathan
Taylor the last two weeks. Plus part of what makes
Daniel Jones a competent quarterback because he can run, or
right now he can't run, and he is just a
pocket passer, and he's not a very good pocket passer.

(34:56):
And Jacksonville can gonna have for the quarterback a little
bit which he now like mobility. So I have an
eight and four team at home, two point underdogs, and
they're playing a quarterback with a fractured fibula. I'm gonna
go Jacksonville, plush. What made you think I wouldn't touch
that game?

Speaker 3 (35:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
It's typically you usually have like four or five teams
that you'd like to go in their games you like.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Do you like the NC North.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
First, I must be pretty good at this game. To me,
that was the easiest. That was the easiest game on
the board. That was the biggest no brain. Matter of fact,
had you left, I would have doubled down on that.
If it was me, I would have doubled out to me.
It's because everything you said is exactly. I had no
idea if Jacksonville has a good pass rusher not.

Speaker 5 (35:37):
But I just know when a.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
Guy's when he has a fractured fibula, and I watched
the film of him and practice drop him back to
he is he's He'll get sacked a half a dozen
times easily.

Speaker 5 (35:47):
That there's no way Baltimore wins that game.

Speaker 9 (35:51):
Spreading, I'm going with a couple of teams.

Speaker 7 (36:02):
I assume the song is done now, I'm.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
Good to good, You're good.

Speaker 7 (36:06):
I'm going with a couple of teams that have already
met this season. The first time they played, the team
that emerged victorious won by only three points. But this
week that team is gonna win again by a much
larger margin. The Vegas Raiders are horrific, and I know
they're at home, but Denver's really playing some good football.
Ten and two and the Raiders have not won a

(36:28):
game since October twelfth, and I don't think they're going
to start to do it anytime soon, especially not against
the Denver Broncos. I think that even if Vegas, you know,
got off to a quick two touchdown lead with only
five minutes elapsed in the game, they wouldn't come out victorious.
I'm taking it the Denver Broncos minus seven. Hopefully they'll

(36:48):
put up a three or a four touchdown victory or
something like that, because I need the points. Give me Denver.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
It seems like Denver always plays like close games though,
even though they win them all right, and it doesn't
seem to blow out a ton of opponents.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
But yeah, they are playing Vegas.

Speaker 6 (37:03):
Spread swing.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
This pains me because I.

Speaker 4 (37:15):
My favorite teams in football are the Lions, the Vikings,
and whoever is playing Green Bay.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
And I already told Duce. I don't know if I've
said this on the air.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
When I know of the teams that i'm that I
pull for the lines and Vikings are out of it.
I like having a team. I mean, I don't live
and die by it. And it doesn't matter whether it's
AFC or NFC. It's usually NFC, and I don't care
if they're in the division. I've adopted the Bears, I like,
I'm like you. It's not because of my relationship with
Kevin Warrencks. I don't know him, but I just like
the Bears because I like just.

Speaker 5 (37:43):
The way they do it.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
You know, they were not much was expected they got
to Coach Williams was under siege last year's Maybe they
should have drafted them. I know it's been more actually
the running game than anything and their defense.

Speaker 5 (37:53):
But I like them, but.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
I still need to see again the games they have
won the most part, and it's not their fault that
you heard me say this many times. They don't put
the rosters the teams together, they don't put the schedule together,
so they're playing most of their wins against terrible teams
in terrible cities. They are now playing and modified playoff
club at Curly. Go ahead and head, yes, green Bay.

(38:19):
Green Bay is playing, uh, very well. I like Jordan's
Love a lot. I don't love Jordan's Love. I'm not
lust with Jordan Love, but I like Jordan Love, and
I I think he's he's good.

Speaker 5 (38:32):
I think Green Bay is.

Speaker 4 (38:33):
I think they're gonna win, and it's a lot of
points seven, but I I think.

Speaker 8 (38:37):
I'll at that's to me, that's what swade me to
go to the Bears.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
But I'll go ahead and now I'll take the Packers
and surrender the second.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
How about that? You two going head to head on
both your matches.

Speaker 7 (38:49):
I love it went against Rosie in both games. It
went pretty well, so I think Dad might establish them.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
Good Deuce, we'll see it. Deuce, you've been waiting all
day for what for?

Speaker 7 (39:06):
Toys? Day and night. I haven't wait all day I've
been I've been sitting at my desk and I can't
even get work done. I'm just nervous.

Speaker 5 (39:11):
Yeah, it's a big one tonight.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
I'll see you at home.

Speaker 5 (39:14):
Thanks, Deuce, take.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Care of Deucy.

Speaker 7 (39:16):
Yep, sounds great.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
Thanks for having me guy.

Speaker 4 (39:18):
Yep, for sure, there's Deuce a little spread swing. We'll
take a short break, come back with more.

Speaker 5 (39:22):
Another hour to go. The comment tend to be in
