KFA dot comic the keyword Calendar,Chris, I don't know if you heard
that commercial break. Were you outin the hallway or were you listening?
Yeah, I went down the restaurant. You know, we all do live
spots from time to time, right, and you try. The part of
the reason why live spots work isbecause if something's happening in the world instead

(00:44):
of a recorded commercial from two orthree weeks ago, you can integrate what's
happening in real time into the commercial. Right, you can find creative ways
to be like, Hey, ifyou watched that game last night, so
and so, then it's like, hey, they're actually talking about something that's
now, Right, what a coolthing a live commercial. Ben's Island because
sauce in that commercial break tried tosay for window Nation, Hey, if

(01:06):
you were watching the game last nightand like, man, the I hope
some of those balls go off thebackboard differently the they should. The windows
and the basketball hoop they I wishthey had better windows like window Nation and
window that he tried to get butI also can't. He was watching the
highlights, but I can't see theteam nobody you did. But the fact

(01:29):
that you tried to connect the backboardand the basketball what they call it the
last last they say off the windowand the glass window. But I like
that you tried to put somebody ontheir couch watching the Wolves, going God,
they just can't get it off theglass. You know what? I

(01:49):
need new windows? Right? That'sthat, That is a scenario that a
human actually can experience. Window Nationdot com checking out clumsy it's clever.
I like, I Meank, yougot us to laugh. We're like,
wow, he's really going. ThenCorey goes, wow, cleverneggle Really No,
he's beans. You know what heisn't mocking windownation. See there you

(02:10):
go that he's even better? Ohyes, Parker Fox and Taylor Hizier here
they probably the penalty boxing hockey hasglass. See, yeah, there,
once in a while is hockey lookingat Maybe they should go to a window
Nation box. Dad's boat has glass. That's not brilliant, that's not true.
Okay Parker, Ben Ben Parker andTaylor Taylor, Hi guys, sliding

(02:37):
over that microphone and good morning everybody, Good morning morning Parker. Last time
I saw you had your shirt off. You started that? He started that?
Oh yeah, I didn't see thevideo. I thought Max started.
Me and Max were sitting here doingour you know, doing our job,
doing our bit. And next thingwe know, a naked man walks in
the studio and yeah we all hadto join. So yeah, yeah,

(02:58):
Max had done it earlier. Andthen about a half hour later, I
came over right as they were startingthe post game, and we were we
were fired up. It was fun. But you guys kept your pants on.
Hawks still took care. Yeah,I might have had his off.
I don't know. It was reallyquick. Things happened fast, you know
what. I don't remember myself.I was pretty wasted. If you told
me a naked man walked into thestudio, I would bet a thousand dollars.
It's Paul Allen, right. Thefact that it wasn't. It's kind

(03:22):
of heartbreaking. Yeah, last night'sgame was heartbreaking, Parker. That was
not good. Yeah that was tough. Way, Yeah, it was tough.
You know, the energy wasn't great. I just think that, you
know, you kind of get outat that game seven, you kind of
have that lull and you know, everybody's still high and expected just kind of
roll into to Dallas and I don'tknow, the energy wasn't there. There
was actually a possession of the fourthquarter I saw Aunt kind of defer and
go to the corner and I waslike, That's when I knew. I

(03:43):
was like, Oh, that energyjust isn't really there tonight, and that
was kind of frustrating to see.So hey, Parker, you play basketball,
and you know you playing like areal grueling series right like they just
did. How can you get thatenergy back? Is it simply just sleeping?
Well? I mean, may Ithink that there's some aspects to that.
You know, the travels brutal, and you know you got to be
able to find ways to you know, get sleep here and there, get

(04:06):
rest here and there. But Ithink it's more of a mentality deal where
you've already played ninety four games.You know, you've you've played a lot
of basketball games, so you gotto find a way to, you know,
just get back to who you areas a team. And I think
that's something that we're going to seegame two. I think there's gonna be
much better energy in their Game two, much better life, and I think
we're going to see a more motivatedand uh intentionally focused Terribles team. Well,

(04:28):
let's ask somebody who's currently in aseries. Taylor, you had a
grueling series last round, and nowyou're going to go back and forth in
the finals here in the Walter Cup. So how do people rest? How
do you bounce back if you're outof gas in a game? Yeah,
it's hard, I mean for us. For me, I have been home
for like literally nine days in thepast two months, so like being home
and away, it's definitely hard. But finding your like happy place when you're

(04:50):
at like a different area, likeexploring, doing those things, but also
as sleep. Like we got homefrom a charter I think yesterday like three
and then I just laid on thecouch for us today, Like you just
gotta kind of find that. Thatsounds incredible. It was great. Yeah,
watch a little bit of the Wolvesgame and just kind of went to
bet after that. But yeah, just finding what you need because some people
need to walk, some people needto get outside, some people just need

(05:11):
to go to bed. Are youa cold tub person? Is that just
required for athletes? No? Ilike it. I like to do contrast
sometimes. So it's hot and coldand you go back and forth. It
kind of shocks your body a littlebit. Are you all the way up
to your neck cold tub? Areyou just waste? I could, but
we usually do just the waste.Yeah, but it's not too bad.
I don't mind it. I could. She's tough. I could. She

(05:32):
could? Yeah, yeah, ifthey had the room for it, yeah,
she could do it. Do youguys have game three tomorrow? Which
is a Wolves fan? It's abuzzkill for you, right, you guys
are overlapping, but you guys areat the X. They're a target center.
Yep. So you guys are oneone correct, one one, all
right, it's pretty sweet. Bestout of five, best out of seven?
What do we got? Best outof five? Yep? Okay,

(05:54):
Yeah, that overlap is that wasa tricky one. We'd have a little
conversation about what's going on on Fridaynights. So we're you going to be
tomorrow. I'm going to be inTarget Center, but I will have the
YouTube. I love the YouTube upon the phone. And the nice thing
is that they were able to eventhe series up one one. So now
there's a guaranteed Sunday game at xNity Center, which I will one hundred

(06:16):
percent be at Pincided for. It'sgoing to be It's awesome that if people
haven't gone, that that environment, that energy in there is is really cool.
And now you know it's a it'sa really physical game and you could
speak to it too, but it'sthat kind of energy in there is awesome.
It's really fun. Yeah, wehave like I think we've sold out
about seventy percent of the Lower Bowlso far for Excel tomorrow, so that'll

(06:38):
be really fun. I think withplayoff atmosphere, it's crazy. But I
think the one game we had thisyear when we had thirteen fourteen thousand fans,
it was like the most insane thingever. And playoff hockey is something
you can't really explain, especially becausewe've been playing. We went from like
playing Game five in Toronto, flewright to Boston, played Game one the
next day, or we had aday in between, and then we went
right to game two. So we'veplayed I think seven or eight games in

(06:59):
fourteen days a week and change ago. When Mark Parrish did the lineup,
yes, how many people in thelocker room had any idea who he was?
I did. I was laughing reallyhard because he looked at me and
he kind of gave me one ofthese and I was like, yep.
Honestly, I feel like more thanmore than half at least, because I
would say more of our Our averageis about twenty seven, so I feel
like that that evens it out.We don't have a ton of kids that

(07:19):
are like just fresh out of college. So okay, well, what percentage
of the team is Minnesota based?Because that gives him a better chance of
knowing the parishes a lot. Iwould say probably like seventy percent. What
percentage of the league is Minnesota based? Honestly, just our team, our
team is very much so Minnesota based. I think we just took a lot
of kids in our training camp andthen a lot of them, you know,

(07:41):
did really well, got to justreally wanted to try out Minnesota,
and then they did made the team, and then now here we are.
I don't know, I'm sorry, how many how many years has the PWHL
been in existence? I know thisis the first year for your team,
but what about the league itself. This is the first year of the league.
So in past years, there's beentwo different leagues, so that obviously
isn't great in women's sports. Youdon't want to be competing answers SR.

(08:03):
So there was just two different leagues, pretty much the National Team League,
which had Team Canada, Team Sweeden, and Team Finland team to Us and
they just kind of jumped it allup and went to different areas every week.
And then the other league was calledthe PHF and that was one with
just honestly anyone in everyone. Solike combining them all into here, we
only had like I think obviously sixteams times twenty two, you have just

(08:26):
that many people playing unless you wantto go play overseas. So it's pretty
competitive. And from our perspective, because obviously we're seeing the news stories here
and the recaps and such like that, here it seems like we are the
team in the league. But isevery team getting the support you guys are,
Yeah, I would just say we'revery blessed to be playing at the
Xcell Energy Center. Not every teamcan say that. I think Toronto they

(08:48):
sold out their season tickets, butit was only like a three thousand.
They can only hold three thousand people, So for them, they sold it
out in like a matter of fiveminutes at the beginning of the year.
But for us, we have thatwhere you can come every single night and
show up and if you want tobring someone, you can, and it's
not that hard of a deal tofigure out. So we're happy that we're
able to be accessible and everything. But other teams definitely have had some interesting

(09:09):
attendance. Is just in the factof ones in New York and ones in
Boston, and they're not in reallyideal places. So you mentioned the different
leagues, Hi Taylor, By theway, I when like three different studios
over away from But you mentioned thedifferent leagues, and then Parker, you
mentioned the physicality of this game, and that's one thing that the PWHL seems
to have separated themselves from those otherleagues with. I watch your double overtime

(09:31):
thriller to force that crucial Game fivein Toronto. That was awesome out at
the X and there were hits thatI don't think would have been legal in
the NHL or any other league. It was the classic, you know,
putting the whistles away and letting theplayers aside. But how has that been
adapting to that physical play and youknow, people go out there and check

(09:54):
this out, whether it's on YouTube, whether they go to the game tomorrow
night, what can they expect froma physical standpoint. Yeah, adapting is
a great word. I would sayour reffing scenario is definitely something that is
going to be worked one in thefuture. It's not like it's bad,
I would say, I just thinkit needs to be more consistent. Like
there's just some hits out there that, like you said, even in an
NHL game, like that's boarding,Like there's there's some serious hits that go

(10:16):
on out there. But honestly, the refs either play the game, they
play the score, or they playlike the actual game itself. So it
kind of just depends on the gameand you know right away what you're getting.
Like usually in a playoff game, they're gonna let you kind of roll
with the punches a little bit more. But usually for me, you can
usually tell we'll talk about on thebench We're like, okay, refs are
really working on the stick penalties today, like let's just keep them down.

(10:37):
Other than that, they're like, you can just do whatever. Okay,
So forgive me for not knowing this. All right? Is there fighting allowed?
No, you can get a game, you get probably a game misconduct
and you get fined. So theydon't let you guys go toe to toe
for a little bit until someone hitsthe ground, so like no, can
you throw things onto the ice duringthe game? Like ja, that's the
way we probably get fine usually theyear. The ones you've gotten fined for

(11:01):
is you can't grab the cage, which means probably no hands to the face,
and then anything else like if youif you hit someone from behind,
like with the intent to injure, which I don't really know how you can
as ye hard yeah and figure thatout. But then you're usually suspended and
you get a little bit of afine. Not as happy as the NBA,
but yeah. So from a froma different standpoint between men's and women's

(11:24):
you know, you talk about thephysicality. You say, in some ways
it's actually more physical than the NHLgame outside of fighting. What are there
big rule differences, big changes inthe game style on the play. Yeah,
we've had some really actually, reallycool rule changes this year. I
think two of my favorite ones. One is called the jail break role.
So say, like part Girls,he gets a penalty on my team and
we score shorthanded, he gets toget out of the box whether there's a

(11:46):
minute left of the penalty fifteen seconds, that's sweet. Yes, that's great.
They called the jail break goals,so a lot of the celebrations this
year was going over there getting themout of the penalty box and then scoring
them back to the bench, whichwas really funny. And then the second
one, I think it's called theGolden rule. So if you are the
number one team out of the regularseason, you get to pick your opponent

(12:07):
between seeds three and four. Sosay you even did better against team or
seed three, let's just say thatyou were like five to zero against them,
you can pick them instead of justhaving to play four. So for
me, yeah, we ended upbeing the fourth seed, really making it
in on sheer lock at the endof the day. We lost like six
straight at the end of the year, but Toronto actually ended up picking us

(12:28):
and then we ended up beating them. So in that sense. That's kind
of just like a little bit ofa chip on your shoulder. Someone's going
to pick you there like you we'regonna beat you. Yeah, the NHL
has to be the first league toadopt that. They got to just do
it. It would be awesome. This whole garbage. You got to play
the teams from your division or whateverin the first round. That was to
set up rivalries. That with Taylorjust said, sets up a rival way

(12:48):
quicker, like that's how you thinkabout way better and you could have it
on TV. It'd be a wholebit exactly. Market the hell out of
it. That's like, that's whattennant Bea did for program. Password.
You picked me though, we're gonnawin, you know why because of your
smiling attitude. Thank you. AllRight, when we come back, let's
talk a little bit about the Wolves, because I know Parker and Max we're

(13:09):
all over it. Last night wekind of let game one slip away,
tired legs, bad shots. Whatdid Chris Finch say? He said,
bad shots, turnovers and no composureand pretty much sums it up. Well,
we'll do that. We'll do morewith Ben Leber, will do headlines.
Taylor Heisei is here, Parker Foxis here. This is the Power
Joe Morning showing. Hey, I'min the road this week for the chart

Stop by your nearest travel center todayto learn more for a smarter, safer
driving experience. Starts tomorrow. Didn'tthat reminds me of when he does that?
Read? Right there? Reminds meof when they're doing like a show

(13:54):
not the Showcase, showdown with theregular things, and Bob Barker would say
to the guy, what do wehave up for grabs? And rod Roddy
would Roddy would read that's what itsounds like he's doing. Back. Yeah,
that'd be a fun job. Itwould be bad. God, damn
it. What is the guy's namenow that you used to do weakest Link?
I don't know the guy that doesthe announcing four prices right? Uh?

(14:16):
I think it's Tory Johnson, GeorgeGeorge Gray, Thank you hockey.
Good call George Gray. Yeah, the Charge Challenge punishment starts tomorrow. Zacho
flies to Philadelphia tomorrow and then forthe next ten days or so has to
drive across the country to Los Angelesby himself. It takes about nine days

(14:37):
with all of the stops. Yeah, by himself, thanks to raising canes
as well. Okay what yeah, they hooked me up there here the other
day. They're awesome. Yeah, what a dream bit. You get to
be by yourself and eat chicken fingers. Yeah, that doesn't sound too that's
my entire adult that's Corey. Thisis the Corey Cove Simulator. I'm about
to hot Welcome aboard, man.So what are you gonna listen to all

(15:00):
the way across the country? Doyou have a podcast? Book on tape?
What are you doing? You know? I you know it's gonna be
music, and then that's gonna getreal yeah, real fast. Well,
twenty one Pilot has a new albumcoming out tomorrow, so I'll be jamming
to that and then uh, that'llget you through Pennsylvania. But if you
guys have I mean, that's ZachCalliverson on Twitter. If you have any
podcasts recommendations, I'm gonna have alot of time, So no, I

(15:24):
think there's a podcast about something inAlaska, some mysterair. Listen to the
women of Wars. Okay, inall SARTs and stacho. Sure you will
have moments where like you just gotup and you just got on the road
and you're already falling asleep at thewheel. Stand up comedy will keep you
awake. Okay, Yeah, italways does that for me. It's the
middle of the night, I'm drivinghome from a gig. I'm you know,

(15:46):
miss dear, I'm naked. Thelot listeners are already gone. I
turned on. Stand up comedy keepsme awake. So there's a little pro
tip for you. Nice. I'mtrying to you right and trying to tell
us so yeah, you go no, no, no, you go.
No. It was a stupid It'stime for Fan five, brought to you
by builders and remodelers. I gottaknow, bit, I'm gonna go to

(16:07):
bed to I'm not gonna be ableto well. I was only gonna bring
this up because you're the only oneI think this room that watched Masters of
Air like I did. Oh mygosh, full transparency. I watched probably
what was that maybe seven eight episodes. I think I watched five of them
in my car as I was sittingin traffic. Oh yeah, right,
So I would just what turn on? I just turn on my my app?

(16:29):
My little uh was Apple TV app, and I just turned my phone
sideways. I'm a little like littleHolder. And then when I was sitting
in traffic, bumper to bumper, like like I do every day leaving Twin
City's Live, It's like I gothree miles an hour trying to get back
to you. Dinah, I'm justwatching Masters there. So if that's an
authority figure sees you driving home fromTwin Cities Live, everybody's doing car You're

(16:51):
assured you are watching television on thedrive home. Interesting, Yeah, so
I would I would maybe suggest doingthat. You know, maybe not your
screen. You can't watch the GoldenAge of TV. And sure you can.
What a waste? You're driving ninedays across the country. No,
and you just got your son oncruise and you're on the stem. Oh,

(17:15):
there goes Tom Petty. You're prettysure if you drive up to Zach,
let's say, in the middle ofMissouri and he's watching something on his
phone, it's gonna be the beachvolleyball scene from Top Gun anyway, and
we've all seen that a thousand times. Just me. He's gonna catch up
on some Viking ot as. Okay, what No one is happier that JJ
McCarthy is here than Zach Halverson. He has asked us about fifty times off

(17:37):
the year, can we get himinto play initials? Yeah, And he's
asked Adam, what's what's the lockerroom policy this year? No? Get
out of there, Zachary, peoplebehind stop light because it's locked down.
On the twenty nine going down?Come on, man, I know there's
some intense moments and I'm just dudjust watching. Yeah, I talked you
remember the two gentlemen Matt and Michael. I told you who let me said

(17:57):
in the the one thirty the daythe two Minnesota Air Air National guardift airlift.
Yeah, from the one thirty third. I asked them specifically about that,
and they they both said they gotemotional watching it because it was so
real to them, and those planeswere so hard to fly, and so
many of those pilots and and thecrew did one mission and went down.

(18:21):
I mean, is it that showman? Well? How how many missions
did they go on and they allknew in the room this is a suicide
mission? Yeah, Like what's thereturn strategy? Like I haven't really figured
that out yet, Like what askedthe Nazis for a ride? Essentially?
Yeah? Unreal? Man? Whata show? What a show? Parker?
I don't know anything about it.It's real. Yeah, Masters of

(18:44):
the Air. Yeah, it's aboutWorld War two. Yeah that's the story.
What do you guys watch? Justsports? This is the golden age
of television. I mean, Ijust yeah, I'm really just kind of
a sports guy. I don't know. I watched a little Rick and Morty
to fall Asleep. She hates it, so it does it gets turned dog
in her place? But no,I love I think Rick and Moody's fun.
Pick Taylor, what are you watchingthen? If you're not watching Rick

(19:06):
and Morty. I watched Gray's Anatomythrough and through, and then I watched
Suits and then now I'm watching WhiteCollar. So I like the crime Criminal
Minds too. But it seems likeyou will like shows on the USA Network.
You and Jason Zucker so love suits. He loves it. Suits.
Suits is so good? Wait, what's white Collar? It's literally am two
episodes. Yeah, but it's aboutlike this this guy that I think is

(19:33):
like a criminal mastermind and then getscaught by the FBI because his like girlfriend
or something ran away, and thenhe now helps the FBI find other criminal
masterminds. So gotcha white collar crimes? I think because the Yeah, I
guess that's the premise of it.Yeah, there's so many better shows out
there. You just need to guideyou in the rest. You know what,
you know what you know the thingthat you guys have to realize if

(19:55):
you're gonna be you're gonna be regularson this show. And Parker, you
already kind of are. Corey's gonnajudge you for everything that you watch.
He judges you for everything happy aboutyou. You watch whatever you guys want
to watch. If it makes youhappy, If it's Rick and Morty,
you watch it. He will pickyou apart and he will make you feel
bad for liking something that, yes, he thinks is now. If Charge

(20:18):
came on tomorrow and said, youknow what show I love suits, Corey
would go, oh my god,I have to watch it. It's gotta
be the best show time. Thatwould never happen because Charge has taste.
That's a bad sims honest answer.I turned on ESPN two and watched World
Series A poker on that line, you can leave. I'll make him happy.
All right, Let's let's talk toParker because he was watching the game

(20:41):
last night. He was locked inthe Mavericks one O five over the Timberwolves
in Game one. Luca with thirtythree fifteen in the fourth. He really
caught fire. It didn't matter almostdefensively, what the Wolves did is he
just found a way around us.Kyrie was the opposite twenty four points in
the first half, couldn't stop him, couldn't stay in front of him,
finished with thirty. When you havea no, this isn't necessarily your job

(21:03):
as a basketball defender is a bigguy. But when you have a guy
that handles the ball, that canget in front of somebody like he did
with Conley and Ant and McDaniels, how do you even slow a guy like
that down? I know Kyrie isone of the greatest of all time at
what I'm asking you about, ButI mean, when you have somebody that's
that quick, how do you defendhim and slow him down? Well,
yeah, you know, me andRosie talked about it. Your postgame and

(21:26):
we think it's just it's it's agroup effort. You know. Obviously,
Anthony Edwards came out and said,I want this matchup and I want this
Kyrie matchup. And we you know, we saw that that he did,
you know, but he looked alittle slow. He looked a little sluggish.
And you know, obviously, whenyou have a guy like Kyrie Irving,
who's you know, tremendous at whathe does. You know, I
think one of the best ball handlersand if you've watched enough NBA, you
can confidently say he's the one ofthe best finishers around the rim as a

(21:48):
guard position of all time. Andyou know, he was able to kind
of just get by Ant and youknow, get down that lane and you
know score, and you know it'sweird because you think, oh, we're
going to be so good inside. We got Rudy, we got Cat,
we got Na. There's gonna beso many big bodies inside. Kyrie Irving's
a small guard. How he's gonnaget you know, all these different finishes,
But but he was and that justshows his craftiness. So I think

(22:10):
just in general, we need tofind ways to close lanes a little bit.
You know, we were out onshooters a little bit, and they're
not really a shooting team. Youknow, PJ. Washington can stretch the
floor a little bit. You know, obviously Luca can do iso stuff,
but he's not to catch a shootguy. So gotta find ways to strength
the floor against a guy like KyrieIrving. You want to make him see
multiple bodies. And our coaches alwayssay you got to be two places at
once, which is which is hard. It's technically not possible, but we

(22:32):
got to find ways to be ingaps and close that defense down a little
bit. Or so, what aboutLuca because clearly scoring champion in the regular
season, almost thirty nine percent fromthree in the regular season, but he's
about thirty percent from three in thepostseason, and that's exactly what he was
last night three of ten. Howdo you how do you balance risking Luca
getting hot from three versus killing usOnce he got into the paint last and

(22:53):
he seemed to have his way withus, whether it's lobbing it up to
somebody else or scoring himself. Howdo you defend him when you don't want
to leave him open deep either becausehe might catch fire. Yeah, I
mean, there's a couple of doublehigh ball stream stuff that that Dallas was
doing that really killed us. Youknow, Mike Conley even talked about how
their defense kind of got messed upby that and they wanted to muddy up

(23:14):
the water a little bit and theydidn't. But Luca is inevitable. He's
ultra talented. He gets to whereverhe wants to go because he plays with
such pace and poise, and youknow, he's a guy that you got
to find ways to throw multiple bodiesat. Obviously, Jada McDaniels is our
you know, a one defender. That's the guy we want on him.
But you know, you got tojust find ways to stay in front of
him and make life hard for him. So the one thing I kept hearing
last night, and actually one ofmy buddies kept texting it to me as

(23:37):
well, that knows a lot moreabout basketball than me, But this idea
of like what was it drop coverage? Yeah? What what exactly is that?
And why did we never adjust it? Seemed like it was an issue
early and then even in the fourthcourt they're talking about, oh, the
general is still playing this drop coverage. Yeah, well they're running this double
high ball screen set a lot ofthe time, and they're big man's the
second guy to set the ball screen. So Rudy Gobert's garden their big man,

(23:57):
so he's he'sn't playing drop what wecall drop coverage, which is you
know, playing basically where the chargearc is in the middle of the lane
and they're setting the high ball screenup on the three point line. So
you got you're talking about fifteen room, fifteen feet of space there for Luca
to kind of turn that corner onthat ball screen. Then what you'll see
him do is he plays with thispace where he'll do these little dribbles and
he'll get the defender on his back. So now Jade McDaniel's on his back

(24:18):
and he's he's not going to gointo Rudy Gobert and try to finish,
but he's going to wait for DerekLively to roll. Dereklive is going to
take Rudy Gobert out And now nowLuca Dodges has fifteen feet to operate with
with no one there. So wegot to find out a way where maybe
you maybe you put a different defenderon Derek Lively and you got to switch
that or or Rudy Gobert's got tobe up at the point of the screen,

(24:38):
which is something we do on ourteam. And you just got to
find ways to kind of switch itup, because if you give Luca fifteen
feet of space with the defender onhis back, it's you know, that's
too easy. Were that, Imean, Hawk said the same thing off
the air, but it was goodto hear you said smartly? Yeah,
yeah. Were you surprised that itnever changed throughout the game? Was?

(25:00):
And and I think Mike Conley talkedabout it postgame where I was looking at
Max and I was like, whatare we What are we doing defensively here?
Because every time Luca wanted to getto his spot, he got to
his spot, and we, Idon't know, maybe that's a subthing.
We got to bring a NOS guylike nas Read in to kind of you
know, blitz that ball screen alittle bit or whatever it may be.
You can't you know, they justkept going to this double high ball screen
set that that it was. Itwas just inevitable that Luca was kind of

(25:22):
gets kind of get to where hewanted to go, and I don't know,
they got to find ways to youknow, make it harder. Ye
listening to you and Chris breakdown basketball. When I listened to you Parker,
it's like succession or breaking bad. When it's Chris, it's like white collar
suits. You know what I'm saying. It's not it's not like it's not
for just talk like basketball. Yeah, that's it. Like I think Kyrie

(25:44):
seems like nice Parker. He thoughtKyrie was a rookie. I heard that
this ranchise. I'm not a basokay, but he seemed like a good
dude. I like the way heplays ball. Everybody, everybody likes him.
I think, you know, inMark Cuban even had this set I
been talking about how like everybody lovesKyrie. I had a bad rap for
the you know, the flat earthstuff and you know all the you know

(26:06):
other stuff that he you know, with Nike and all this kind of stuff.
And but I don't know, everybodysays they love Kyrie, and it
seems that, you know, thelegally respects them. Tough to stop.
Game two tomorrow Target Center, theMAVs up one to nothing. But at
the X Tomorrow, Game three ofthe p w HL Minnesota versus Boston Walter
Cup Final, Taylor Heisi is hereand Taylor, you guys are squared at

(26:29):
one seven o'clock tomorrow at the X. Correct there, we got what we
got out of Boston? What dowe need? What are they? What
are like we're breaking down Wolves,MAVs here and adjustments that need to be
made. What do you guys needto do better? What does Boston need
to do better? I think cominginto this series, a lot of people
thought it was gonna be like abattle of our goaltenders. We had a
really hot goaltender in the Toronto series. We kind of switched it up last
game. She got a shout out, played really well. We just have

(26:51):
two really good goalies they have one, so for that, I think you
know they're going to stand on theirhide either way it's playoffs. But I
think for us it's, you know, lock down offensively, they're really good.
It's it's funny. I just sawa video of it. We were
the first team to make a tradeus too, and it's kind of what
has impacted this series. Honestly,we ended up getting Sophie Jakes as one

(27:12):
of our defensemen, who who scoredtwo goals in our last game, who
helped us win, and then wegave away a defender, and then Suzanne
Tapany, who scored I think threegoals in their last series and helped them
sweet Montreal, so she's done almosteverything for that team. I think for
US, just play play ahead ofthem, play really good defense, but

(27:32):
just get pocks out. I thinkfor US it's it seems simple because they're
definitely a different team than Toronto Torontoeveryone thought was gonna win. I think
everyone wanted to Montreal Toronto finish andwe clearly made that not happen, which
I'm happy about. A US Finalis kind of what all US teams wanted.
But yeah, like I said, our goaltenders are going to play really
well. We just got to backthem up. Last night in the NHL,

(27:52):
Panthers three rip over the Rangers inGame one of the Eastern Conference Finals,
Bobrovski twenty three saves his first shoutoutof this postseason for him Game two
tomorrow night in New York. Whodo you like out of the remaining four
in the NHL? Yeah, wewere talking. Who did you say that
you want to? I want Iwant to see I want to I want
to see Edmonton, and and thenI think Dallas is super talented, So
I mean, it's gonna be areally good series. But then you know,

(28:14):
I like, uh, I likethat Ranger team. I don't know
Florida's Florida's so good, they haveso many good players. But I want
to see I want to see Rangersoilers in the so do I no,
no, we don't. What doyou want back there? Saw? He
is the opposite Jake Ottinger. Idon't know who that is. But Lakeville
goalie Dallas? Come on, yeah, hawk do that right? Yeah?

(28:40):
The All NBA team was announced. The first team was s g A,
Luca, Joker, Jannison Tatum. On the second team Anthony Davis, Kawhi
Leonard, Kevin Durant, Jalen Brunson, and Anthony Edwards. That's right.
Wow, I'm sorry he didn't makefirst team. That's right. He deserves
You see how much Lucas gonna getpaid now too? For making that first
team. Luca now eligible for afive year, three hundred and forty six

(29:02):
million dollar deal that would be sixtymillion starting in twenty six, and then
by the time to contract ends inthirty thirty one, he'd be making seventy
nine million. Dollars that season.SGA is going to be in that same
ballpark as well. They can bothsign super max contracts. Ridiculous. Wow,
it's like a dollar now under.I mean, I wouldn't do in

(29:23):
terms of the biggest contract we're goingto see with the NBA doubling their TV
revenue in a couple of years, your seven billion a season. I mean,
if it was up to ESPN,they'd give it all to Bronni James.
Come on, not wrong, Nothe Bronni stuff? Is we wrong?

(29:44):
That would I don't even have agood analogy, but that would be
like if I were like a frieLike let's say in high school, I
kind of tried, right, Iwas like a fringe lawyer maybe pass the
bar and like the third try,and they were like, this is making
sand lawyer. Well you know whatI mean, like somebody who maybe isn't
that good at it. But like, I don't those fringe lawyers on Ronnie

(30:06):
James is maybe if he was ifhis name was Bronnie Wayne, he wouldn't
even be a draft you know what, Ben backed me up here. They
talk about it. He's the numberpick, even Kendrick Perkins, just like
why do we keep talking about him? Listen, though, I can't get
down with this because you and mustneither one. He ever going to pass

(30:26):
a bar? So what else wouldit be? Exactly? It would be
like if we decided that Ronald McDonald'sson, just because he was a McDonald
belonged to work at a McDonald Yeah, why wouldn't Ronald McDonald's son want to
work at McDonald's. Well, justbecause he wants to doesn't mean he gets
to. He doesn't get to.No, what if he's pretty good at

(30:48):
it? Maybe not as good ashis dad Ronald, No, but he's
pretty solid. Ronnie James doesn't belongin the NBA, right, Ben or
Ronny James? Ronnie James? DealBronnie? Oh look, it's I don't
know. I don't know if likehe deserves to be in the NBA or
not. All I know is hedoes not deserve all this attention about being
potentially in the NBA. And he'scertainly not good enough to be a lottery

(31:10):
pick. And they would never givethis much attention to a guy that's gonna
be a G League player and haveto hurt. He's a projected late second
round pick right now? Yeah,he's nineteen years old. Poor kid.
Yeah, lonely has been turning someheads though, And you know these combines,
I heard some really good things Hawkswatching it right, it would be
exactly like Ronald McDonald junior getting youthrough the drive through quickly r JJ yeah
right right, Sauce, yes see, you get it and meet Sauce.

(31:36):
I'm just saying, what else isit? Exactly? It would be like
if ESPN and this is a goodanalogy, and you did think but you
kind one and you know this isright? What else is it? Exactly
like? It would be like ifESPN spent fifteen minutes a day talking about

(31:56):
a seventh round draft pick. It'sthe same thing. But what if it
was Tom Brady's son who also playsquarterback but didn't play it? Well,
that's Brownie James. He's not goodat basketballne No, I don't, but
I just a basketball He's just nowherenear as good as ever. Just like
four points a game a year ago, he was one of the highest Parker's

(32:19):
better than Bronn. Parker's better thanBronnie. I agree with you there,
come on, Parker, let's cutup in the honesty vein. Are you
better than Bronnie James a basketball?Yes or no? I believe so,
yeah, I believe believe that Taylor. Do you think Parker is better than
Bronnie James a basketball? Yes?That's answers like suits and what does it

(32:42):
even start on that? Well,he's busy, Okay, what I gotta
go, get ready to have fun. I know. I'm so sorry.
I will be back on Monday.I'm not. No, I'm not Memorial.
That will be day drunk on Monday. Here seven and nine on Monday.

(33:04):
But you don't have to show upgame? Are you really? What
are you guys doing? You haveto do it every twenty years? Why
I'm not going to be here? Why not? Can't blame you. I'm
gonna be here. Tell you whatif we're doing three, I ain't coming
in, right. That's a goodpoint, fantastic point of whose the next
two games? We're not coming ina Memorial Day? No, no chance.

(33:28):
Yeah go Dallas. Oh you're cheering. It is already off time.
I'm not off the band. No, there's nobody that believes in this team.
I get it. I'm telling youthey should have won last night.
They only lost by three and ahalf. Their team played terrible. They
are the better team headlines brought toyou by your friends at Wolf River Electric.

(33:49):
If you turned on in terms ofyour energy is your home, you
can go solar. Get those solarpanels from Wolf River Electric. Taylor,
just jump in with any comments youwant. This is the non sports part
of the show. Another worst partthat I actually listened to a team of
micro biologists at Cardiff University in Waleshas developed a new beer made using extracts

(34:12):
from killer bees. Yes that wouldyou guys drink killer Bees beer? Yes?
Yeah? Why not? To Hawk? All I do is drink so
yes, I wouldn't do that.Where's Wales? Wales? Is it's in?
He wanted it so badly to sayLondon. No, I was gonna

(34:35):
say laugh of the map in theUnited Kingdom's Kyrie? Yeah right now,
you mean Hawk's faverit player. Seemslike a good guy. I like Kyrie
Today on Amazon the series premiere ofThe One Percent Club, Thanks Pa Patton
Nollswald, the US version of aBritish game show which tests the intelligence of

(34:58):
one hundred people through a series ofincrea difficult questions for a shadowed one hundred
thousand dollars I don't understand what thegame is based on that. I guess
it's one hundred people playing for onehundred thousand dollars, but I don't understand
what they're trying to do. Iguess I can tune in and find out.
I do like game shows. Taylor. What was your major kinesiology?
My master's in sports management. Areyou serious? Good for you? That's

(35:20):
really something. Thank you. Whatdo you like when you were sitting in
class? Are you like good atmath or what are you good at?
No? I would say I reallydon't like science, but it is what
it is. I to take alot of anatomy with musiology because it's a
study of human movement. I wouldsay, like memorization when it comes to
like with anatomy, you have toknow every bone, every muscle, like

(35:42):
where things attach, ligaments and stuffthat. But like, also, sports
management has been really cool, justlike how different organizations and how things work
and how the backstory works. Ithink for me, I don't see it
all being like a someone on aprofessional sports team right now. I don't
see all the behind the scenes things. And in order to make it all
work, there's a lot of thingsthat goes into it. So I think
my master's problem has been really, really intriguing. Do you have any idea

(36:04):
what your professors did for a livingthat made them professor worthy of such a
degree. No, I don't.I wonder what that is. I wonder,
like I mean, obviously they probablyhave to have the same thing you
have are you're going for, butI would guess they would need real world
experience as well at the master's level. Maybe. But like Church did a
class at the U. He wasyou ever written? That's something terrible?

(36:29):
I mean, really Church? Yeah? Church, he taught romance novels.
You were going to say, definitely, fantasies in other areas too. That's
exactly right. He taught how towrite romance novels and how to live one
in life. Oh sounds like aclass you would take. Yeah, yeah,
yeah, I'm mastered in it.What why did you do that?

(36:54):
Tickets for Dead Pull and Wolverine wenton sale Monday and set the record for
the most first day advanced ticket salesever for an R rated movie. Man,
I can't wait to see that Julytwenty six. I'm gonna say something
you're not going to believe. Corey'snever seen Deadpool. I haven't known.
How do you not see that? One of the great comedies of the twenty

(37:15):
good? There's delay Taylor saying itis. I haven't seen it. No
way, it's so good. I'mtelling you it's not. It is a
comic book movie, but it's beyondthat. It's a wonderful film. Both
of them? Are there? Twoof them? Yes? Two? One's
better than two in my opinion.I agreed, but yeah, I like
them both though. Yeah, they'reGREATA Is anyone going to see Mad Max

(37:36):
Hawk? Are you going to seethat? It looks good? I can't
wait. It was unbelievable, unbelievable. Did you say yes? Wait?
What you name is that? Wouldyou say I saw that last night?
You saw the new one? No? I just saw a Mad Max Okay,
okay, I got a drum thinghere somewhere for him? Mind it.
I know it's here somewhere. Yeah, that was well done. Put

(37:59):
that in the system. It's themost pathetic ear most pathetic. What I
think? It's not only like yousaid, douche, but no, that's
best. Sorry? Should we continue? Yes? I don't know what's going
on. All right, everybody becareful because I have a lot of questions
about what I'm about to say.Everybody'd be cool. There's a lot of

(38:22):
dating shows out there, a lotof them, a lot of reality dating
shows. Hulu has ordered a newone called Virgin Island. Okay, it's
exactly what you think it is.It's a whole bunch of people on an
island. Yet to do that, you have to be over twenty one to
apply. There's going to be awhole bunch of romantic activities. They are

(38:42):
going to try to find dates andstuff. Here's here's my question. How
do they know? Yeah, howdo you prove it? Well, how
do you take a step back, think about what you were going to say,
punk yarde just take deep roun Isthis just on our system? Where

(39:04):
they're like, it's not on oursystem? Oh, how do they know?
They will participate in unique and romanticactivities together and make major decisions and
commitments to one another. Reading itright here, it says in the audition
room, they have a picture ofCorey Cove and they just compare the contestants

(39:27):
to you at the age of twentythree. I get that joke. I'm
saying that nobody loved you if Isaid that you were fat your whole life.
I would have said that, Corey. Oh yeah that's true. Oh
I like being right. Oh that'sweird, man, Yeah, it's a
weird. Yeah, that is weird. People will watch it. I'll watch

(39:47):
it, yeah for sure. Didyou guys have you seen there's another show
called Naked in Virgins? Naked andNaked? Yeah, this show Naked and
Speaking to make It and Afraid?Did you guys go to TMZ right now
and scroll down. There's a videoof a guy who had a dick on
it. Yeah, and naked andafraid. Yes, that doesn't surprise me.

(40:08):
Man, he had no idea.I think it was like a year.
He didn't know. How did anyof us survive? Go to TMS
years ago? How did any ofus survive? Well? What about when
the Pyramids were built in eighteen seventyfive? Parker? Do you guys watch
Naked and Afraid? You ever seenit? I keep going down. Well,

(40:30):
oh my god, you have totingoff its stuck on the USA network
found two thousand and nine. Thereyou go, right there, I sound
it's oh god, okay. Wellthe headline, oh god, they have
a big downside to sleeping naked inthe jungle naked and afraid contestants experience in

(40:51):
firsthand tics. Absolutely love genitals.Yeah, the podcast on a blood flow
Man, Tommy's changing his nickname totick. Who got to blur this?
Oh man, that's that's tough. That's the reason. Number one, I
would never go on that show ever, right there? Number one with plus
I'm afraid of everything, not justbeing naked. Am I right? You

(41:16):
didn't see him afraid? After gameseven? Ye know what? That's true?
But inspired? Thank you for sayingthat I looked good? You did
you look great? Maybe feel good? Yeah? Hey? You know Abbott
claims that I only care about thisshow on Friday's after eight o'clock. Yeah,
no, all the time. We'llagree for sure, and that I
don't that I don't. I don'treally care about Monday through Thursday Thursday?

(41:37):
Can I bring up something else? Then? Is it Initials related? Today
is the ten year anniversary of ourvery first game ever, Initials May twenty
third of twenty fourteen was the firstever game. Do you two fellas over
there? Remember who scored the firstpoints? First game one of Initials May
twenty third, twenty fourteen, Tenyears ago? Today, who scored the

(42:00):
very first point in the history ofinitials, Hawk, I think I know
it was it Ben? Was hehere? Zack? You did you know?
I don't think I. I wasgonna go with Hawk. I thought
it was Ben. You said Hawkend? Ben? He said no,
I was gonna go with what hesaid. What I said? Do you
know how guessing works? No,John Krisol the first person to ever say

(42:24):
you got the first point, AJgot the first win, and the rest
is history. What was the firstone you remember? The initials were aged
a J. I don't remember thefirst point. I think it was maybe
it was Andre Johnson real quick,I feel like it was Andre Johnson.
Wow man. By the way,Happy birthday, Nick Madden bad news.
So he passed away. Tomorrow runsixty six thousand dollars with the jackpot and

(42:47):
uh we will break down Timberwolves Gameone and preview Game two with the TV
voice of the Timberwolves. Michael Gradymakes his initials debut tomorrow. Andre Johnson,
it was Andre Johnson. Okay,so first point out Hawk, Your
first point was Andrew Jordan, RememberVikings tight end Andrew Jordan, which was
a sauce guest on that incorrectly heguess Andrew Johnson, and then he ended

(43:12):
up getting resident yes, and thenhe ended up guessing Adam Johnson later on.
So somebody on Twitter that was remindingus that it was a ten year
anniversary also told me or tweeted meand said that you guessed this is Game
one, and we had we hadto get some wrinkles out. The initials
were a J, and I thinkit was for Ashley Judd, and you
guessed a Stelle Geddy, which isthe gall from The Golden Girls, whose

(43:37):
initials are e G not a J. I guess the Stelle. That's what
I was told on Twitter. Idon't remember that because it was ten years
ago. But you guessed Estelle Geddyfor AJ. You didn't understand the game.
You're very good at it now.Ten years ago, do you really
did you get a start and kissthe girls? Stell Geddy. That's not

(44:01):
my voice. That was definitely you, You said, Paul, playing again,
literally said Paul, that's not myvoice. It is starting kiss the
girls, sell Geddy. That's notmy voice. Yes, no, it's
not not my voice. Hundreds notmy voice? Are you deaf? No?

(44:24):
You said, Paul, that's notmy voice. About No, I
never said a stell geddy. I'mnot an idiot. Deny, deny,
that's not my voice. I playedagain, this doesn't matter anything. Over
again, that's not my voice, and kiss the girls, sell geddy.
That's not my voice. That's notParker boy? Whose voice is that?

(44:53):
Yeah? It seems like no,you know what. Let me listen one
more time, right, that's notmy voice? Literally say that's a No,
that's not my voice. Has tobe a bit. That's not my
voice is No, I'm not No, that is not my voice. House,

(45:15):
that's you. That's not my voice. I bet you a thousand accidents.
No, it's not my voice.Who is is it? Then?
It's not mine? Tell me whoseit is? I don't know. It
doesn't sound like it doesn't you know, I don't understand my voice. Play
it again. That is not mybillion times. It's going to be you
the billion time to leaving. It'snot my voice. Who all is there?

(45:38):
You just said that brilliant, Butthat's not my voice. Yes it
is. No, it's not.See that sounds like you might. You
may as well have just said astell geddy all over again. That was
exactly your voice. Again, myselfI want to teammates four hours. God
dang it, let's try it astelle some very closely exact plan. It's

(46:01):
not my boy. You can sayit's not my voice a thousand times.
Just listen, it is so clearlyyou can you be please, I'd be
skinny. Final time. Here wethree starting kiss the girls. No,

(46:22):
that's not hate you so much.I'm not doing a bit that is not
my You've ever been more wrong then? No, that's no, I have,
I have you need. No,that's not my voice. I know
you keep saying that you keep Paul. There is no other Paul, and
there's nobody else that goes stell Gettythat playing it. I want to punch

(46:47):
you. It's not my voice.I want physical violence to happen to you
right now that Taylor. Would youlike to hurt him? He needs some
sleep, he needs he needs toget right for you guys in a couple
of hours. Here, I thinkI think that's a little sleep the pride
and get the sleep number you want. The listeners sometimes go like, I
can't tell if you guys are doingbits. Sometimes you can do it.
This is clear less my boy.Sincere, somebody will back me up.

(47:10):
No one will all have to stopthe show. We were supposed to stop
the show thirty seconds ago. PaulAllen's got a break down the Timberwolves game.
Okay, quickly because I can't believethat just happened. Taylor Tomorrow knows

(47:31):
that it's you. Taylor Tomorrow, seven o'clock, Excell Energy centered Game three,
Walter Cup. You and the Bostonp W a h L team.

summer. Seven o'clock Tomorrow, Goodluck, excellent Parker, do you have
a watch party Sunday? I hearthat right for Game three? Where is
that? I think it's that great? Okay, got it? Yeah?
