It's a very special month. It is, isn't it? Yeah,

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I had a birthday.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
You did.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Thank you for just by the way.

And I got chocolate cake. What else is there?

Speaker 7 (01:34):
October also is Breast cancer Awareness month, and thank you
for giving me just a quick minute here to encourage time.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Seriously take your time.

Speaker 7 (01:43):
Encourage women to get a yearly mammogram. My breast cancer
was detected in a yearly mammogram. I did not find
a lump. It was very early in its formation. But
I started getting mammograms at age forty and forty nine,
mine was detected and I am here today completely healthy

(02:07):
in part because of early detection. So women, if you're
forty or older, please get a mammogram every single year.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Don't miss out.

Speaker 7 (02:18):
And fellas guys, support your ladies in supporting their hoots.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I encourage them to go, give them a gentle reminder and.

Speaker 7 (02:28):
Celebrate because we all love healthy hoots and let's give
a hoot. I'm also wearing this Chaska hoodie which is
a collab with Ranic Cure. This heart on the sleeve
here is the logo. Ranic Cure is named for a
lady and a good friend of mine in the Chaska community,

(02:48):
Jackie Jacquelin Ranakar, who has metastatic breast cancer and that
means it has traveled.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
It started in the breast, but travel to other parts
of the body.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
She is currently healthy, but she started this nonprofit organization
specifically for metastatic breast cancer. So in October Breast Cancer
Awareness Month, if you are looking to support a charity
or even a local one, this is a legitimate, wonderful,
wonderful organization.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
It's called Vrain of Cure v R A n I C.

Speaker 7 (03:21):
U R and whether you give to that organization or
just continue to keep it top of mind. October is
a great time to just remind you and remind your
gals and all the ladies in your lives.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Give a hoot about your hoots. Let's keep them healthy.
Hey man, we can all agree on that.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
You got that right.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (03:42):
You got that right? Yes, thank you, We love you.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Thank you. I love you, guys.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
We're glad you're here. Yeah, mean that. I appreciate it,
You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Does that mean you care? Is that taking it too far?

Speaker 5 (03:58):
I take it too far?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Can I?

Speaker 8 (04:00):
Can?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I think about it?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Of course?

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Yeah, I definitely. I definitely care. And I'm not even
gonna go for the humor about what I care about specifically.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Wow, but I did have to give you a reminder.
You did, you did.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
But that's because I have so much on my mind
and so much, so much on my mind and so little.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Room.

Speaker 9 (04:24):
Right.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Yeah, it's a it's all full of stuff.

Speaker 7 (04:28):
Did you see the Timberwolves score from last night? They
played a preseason game against the Chinese.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
I was wondering who that other t was? How did
the Wolves do?

Speaker 6 (04:38):
I know you watched every second I didn't watch every second.
I lived it against the Gwang Zoo Loong Lions.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Exactly, wow, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
The Wolves won by like sixty points.

Speaker 6 (04:51):
It was exactly and set it was exactly sixty four.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Well, I hadn't done the math.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Okay, that's why I'm here.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
They sat their regular five starters and top three subs,
so their top eight players.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Did not even dress.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I'd love a top three.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
And by sixty all right, sixty So two more preseason
games and then it's go time.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
Baby, and I'm just it was super impressed that the
Guangzhu Loom Lions travel so well. The place was full
of Gwangzou fans.

Speaker 8 (05:28):
You're gonna buy a jersey now, aren't you?

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Probably? Yeah, it's my favorite players player for them.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Who is.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Bill Putrefy?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
What classic Chinese point guard?

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Ellis Island really didn't give a damn about Bill's family.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Bill say last name, you can't help it. He's a
hell of a basketball player that I'll tell you that.
It is, uh please end.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
And you're so uncultured.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Wow, which is weird because that is the name of
their mascot. What the positions you play?

Speaker 6 (06:19):
Yeah, doggie if you're if you don't hear the answer
to last question.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
You can't handle it, that's right.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
Will putrefies a player.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, so you grew up near Chernobyl.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
It is really funny because, like it's obviously a huge
nothing burger that the Timberwolves beat this team by like
sixty points. Can you imagine if, in some way, shape
or form any reality that they lost that game, how
much of a panic we'd be in right now?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, it's happening though.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
It's basketball season, it's hockey season, it's football season, it's
the end of baseball season.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
It's happening all. It's all, it's all happening.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
What is the opposite of abyss? That's what we're correct.

Speaker 8 (07:12):
Last night, Oasis, last night there were two NFL games on,
two baseball games on in the wild.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Yeah, and there was football when we were in Vegas.

Speaker 10 (07:23):
We've got the Vikings on Thursday, we've got NFL season,
We at the NCAA c we got the World Crees
starting Friday and Saturday. We've got everything. You can bet
that it's going to be awesome.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Yes, I wish you were going.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Well, I've got things.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Yes, you got the responsibility. Yeah, you're just talking about it.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
The basketball player got five of them. You said that,
I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Listen to me, did you guys know by the way,
we're talking about Alex Kiel and.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
His beats, and I said, beat goes on it. I said,
he was probably driving a combine. It's called a beatlifter.

Speaker 7 (08:04):
Yeah, combine for a week, it's called a beatlifter.

Speaker 8 (08:09):
Huh wait, Hawk only you'll get this bit.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Wasn't that the nickname of our old boss?

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Oh? My god, true? Thank you. Anyway, so they go
a beatlifter. That's a cool name for something.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
That's a cool name for a DJ.

Speaker 8 (08:29):
It is DJA, the Party.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
The Party Zone, the wild One, the wild one. John
Hines is excited about the power play.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
That's what we need, you know, the power play.

Speaker 11 (08:43):
Like I said, when you have that much talent on
the ice, I think to me, it's they're so competitive
on the puck and then they do have a shot mentality,
either not overpassing or you know, trying to play a
little bit too cute. So that's why the power plays
had success. And I think just five on five.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
We got to get a little bit more of that.

Speaker 9 (09:02):
Yeah, they definitely have found something that works there with
the power play five on five. They need to get
a little bit better at but it's an interesting start
to the season. I think there's definitely plenty of room
for optimism. Yes, sir, Grand Casino a Reno is rocking
last night.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Yes, sir the chief spot.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
Oh we're having fun.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
You dang right.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
Speaking of having fun, we're talking about because it happens
Friday night. Don't forget Friday night lights. Gos versus Nebraska.
Here's PJ on playing Nebraska.

Speaker 12 (09:32):
Everything we look at is a one game championship season.
This Nebraska team has nothing to do with seven years
ago or five years ago. This is Matt Rules twenty
twenty five team of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
That is very, very deep, very good.

Speaker 12 (09:47):
I did an interview this morning and somebody said, I
think they're finding themselves. I said, I think they found themselves.
I don't think they're looking. They found themselves.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Luck out there, goodluck, PJ.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
They're eight and a half point dogs, which I think is.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
A lot at home at home.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
On Friday night. It did not look good, no and
and but they won. They won.

Speaker 8 (10:08):
So I listened to the second half on my way
home from Spicer A plus area. Thanks everybody that came
out to see stand up at Spicer in Spicer anyway, Uh, Guardsy.
They go to Guardsy on the sideline in about the
third quarter and guards he goes, I don't know what
to say, but they are perdue. Is going to give

(10:29):
the Gophers this game basically basically like they're going to
find they keep trying to give.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
They had so many awful penalties. And as I said
yesterday to.

Speaker 8 (10:38):
Grim and Dt, was the Gophers start to start the
third quarter win? Yeah, no, I stutter and stammer. The
Gophers to start the third quarter win three and out.
Purdue took the ball, march it all the way down
the field, and on fourth and goal from the two,
they kicked the field goal, and both Dt and Grim
were like, they should have gone for it, and they

(10:59):
couldn't stop the run game. Man, the Gophers defense and
offensive line are not great.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
But they won. Yeah. Then they didn't score after that?
Yeah right, Yeah, they correct.

Speaker 10 (11:08):
They got that opening field the field goal on their
opening march and that was it, and.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
The Gophers they should have gone for it. Somehow shut
them down. Yeah, yeah, they should have gone for it.
Change but they didn't. They're foreign to right.

Speaker 6 (11:20):
Yep, so they go the foreign too, And it's a
home game on Friday night, and I'm excited about I'm looking,
you're going, I am so, so's Max and so's Bonesy.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Absolutely don't give season tickets, Bonzy.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Are you gonna be tailgating Bony? Yeah? I am actually,
Oh yeah, that's a stupid question. I'll uh we should
the old Telly. Yes, yes, thanks for the invite.

Speaker 9 (11:44):
By the way, everybody, everybody's I mean everybody else, Looey
and I are going up north.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
I'll watch the game on TV. We'll play in Vegas, Zachy, Yeah,
man Vegas.

Speaker 8 (11:55):
Yeah, Bony will drinkle this right at seven eight, drink
with us.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
That's where he's there.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
Yes, I will. Good, Uh, you'll be drinking once he
gets there. But yeah, of course you can't wait.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
What else you get to do? Max, Hey, you're not
leaving yet right now?

Speaker 5 (12:11):
I can I can say I can hang for a
little bit, give.

Speaker 6 (12:13):
Me a little bit of a breakdown of your trip
when we get back, because I don't think Marny's heard
the full breakdown.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
Incredible, what have you heard any of it?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Yeah, it's pretty incredible. The trip that he just had.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Yah coming from Max won't be surprised right.

Speaker 6 (12:24):
Back, all right, Maxo's got to go do TV. And
by the way, we don't mention this enough.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Where do you? Where can we watch you on.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
The television as we see you, uh coming into your
own as a television personality.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
It is on Fox nine Local app or Fox nine dot.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Com, Fox nine local app.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Yes, sir, got cool, cool cool Fox And.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
You're going there right now. But where you do that?
So we all know you went.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
To uh, Ireland and England. Yes, just like the Vikings
to just like I had to, but you did way
more than that. Yeah, tell us quickly about your trip.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
Well, for it started and started in Dublin and man,
it was just it was just a ton of fun
out there interviewing different Vikings fans and got to interview
like the owner of the Vikings pub and everything, Jr.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
Mahens I learned it's not Mahones, it's.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Mahin Mans Mehens.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Mahens got to.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
It and there was just so many I just got
to say before anything else, there's it is so awesome
to see how many fan listeners we have that travel,
you know, like I'm not it probably sounds like PS.
I met no shortage of sixty to seventy people that
came up to me between London and Dublin that said
I listened to you.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
That's awesome on the radio.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Getting called in the streets of Dublin in London.

Speaker 13 (13:46):
Not now like I don't stand out. I think that smacks.
I didn't even know who he was here, but I'm
pretty sure that's Maas which John Randall was there. By
the way, you think I stand out in Dublin, imagine
me John Rendon. But I just got to say, I mean,
that's the type of stuff that really, I mean, like
it warms the heart and it brings a tier to
the eye to know, like just how the outreach of

(14:09):
this station and it's not me, it's being a part
of just like this awesome team that we have and
it is it is really truly like a lucky and
special thing.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
Like we have so many listeners around the world, and
the Vikings have so many fans around the world. I
met people from Germany, I met people from Italy, I
met people from France, you know, like just all around
that the football, American football brings them together. But yeah,
I was interviewing Vikings fans around town. They had a
bunch of really cool NFL stuff in Dublin. They have

(14:39):
like Super Bowl trophies. Obviously never seen one of those before,
so I had to go see it in real life.
They had all the rings and stuff, and they had
a really cool experience at Dublin Castle where you can
try to kick a field goal, like a real life
NFL field goal, and you get coached through it. Listen,
next time will record misses a kick. You're not gonna
hear anything from this.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
Guy because it's way harder than it looks.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Somebody in line was like, that doesn't look that hard.
I'm like, that's where you fed up, brother. As soon
as you think that it's over, yep. But it was
actually really cool. I got interviewed by the Irish News
when I was at Dublin Castle RTE, which is basically
their version of the BBC, the British Broadcasting Channel any
other type of acronym for BBC.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
But and you you get interviewed, you know, and you
think it would be inappropriate for you. Yeah, he was
out for either interview works. Yeah right, this is a
different skill set.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
You get interviewed and you sometimes you know, you know,
news works, you don't know where it's ever gonna end
up or anything like that. And I'm walking on the
street in Dublin later that day and a homeless guy
sees me and he stands up, points at me.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
He goes, mate, I saw you on the telly. He's like,
you were talking real fast at Dublin.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Castle and I saw the clip and spoiler alert, he
was right. I was talking real fast at Dublinhole.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
So it was really cool.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
People I've met over there were like sending me the
link star you heard about it somehow hot on Twitter? Yeah,
so crazy, And so that was that was a really
cool experience. Got to go to Croatia over the weekend.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
When I was.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
So, you left Ireland and went to Croai.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
Yeah, well yeah, I actually was homeless in Ireland briefly
because I didn't know if I was going to stay
on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
But the vibe was cool, so I was like, I'll
stay for another day.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
But I only booked my place until Saturday, not thinking ahead.
So there was a brief period of time where I
was homeless in the rain. It was like the worst circumstances, Like, okay,
I got to leave my house at eleven am. All right, well,
I'll just go into the city center kill some time.
Oh my bus pass has expired. Oh it's downpouring rain
now and I'm homeless in another country. No thanks, Rose

(16:48):
Bros Called Rose called just to laugh at me and
hung up.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
On one of your travelers checks. You'll be fine.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
I know, right, I should have just had a map,
But I actually got really lucky. I told one of
my friends that I had made out in Europe a
couple months ago, earlier in the year, and they said,
I have a friend in Dublin. Maybe I'll contact him.
And you think, oh, she's just being nice. Thirty minutes later,
the guy's like, yeah, go ahead and come sleep on
my couch.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
It's a good Oh that's cool.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
So I ended up not being homeless and then went
to uh because I kind of just Google maps, google flights,
where's cheap to go to that I haven't been. I
didn't have anywhere specific in mind, you know, it's just
like where's cheap to go from here from Dublin to
there and from there to.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
London and Ryan Air you can do that stuff.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Yeah, it's like what's cheap flight? Like one hundred dollars.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
No, like like twenty dollars, twenty one.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
I'm not even joking, man, Like forty dollars tickets start
looking like, you know, like that's how that's how cheap
flights are out there.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
And you're rais from Dublin to Croatia for how much.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
Like thirty two dollars I think it was with tax
house Croatia. It is gorgeous, Yeah, it is absolutely gorgeous.
You have like rocky mountains on one side. You have
just a beautiful, picturesque blue as blue can be ocean.
On the other side, obviously, you have like these really
old kind of like there's like an old town actually
Debravnick where I was at.

Speaker 5 (18:07):
That's King's Landing. Yeah, that's King's Landing. You could.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
That's where they filmed a lot of game with their
own stuff. And you can even hear you know when
the when the bells ring, it's the shame bell, you
can hear it.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
Yeah, like it was. It was really cool. My friend
was top.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
I haven't seen as much of the Game of Thrones
as as you guys have, but my my friend was
telling me, yea, I was film there and as soon
as you step in the old town. You're like, oh, yeah,
this is this is King's landing. So you go from
Croastia to I went from Croatia to London. Uh it
was and London was awesome.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
You had a different spot before you went to no.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
I the second weekend I and when I was in
I got to go to the Globe Theater, which is
my favorite part. Got to see where Shakespeare performed. I
saw Troy Liss and Cressida.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
I don't know that one.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
Yeah, that's my cousin's name. Actually, by the way, troyer
do they.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
Stand in the pit there? I did the first half.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
I had the restricted view and it was cool for
a little bit, but you could tucket some people. The
view is fine, but some people don't project your way,
so you can't necessarily hear them. But I went and
stood in the pit and you're like, you can lean
on the stage.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
You're right right right there.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
And they even have these kind of walkways in the
crowd where sometimes the actors will go and so like
you're just leaning on a walkway and you look up
and all of a sudden, someone's given a soliloquy right
above you, and it's absolutely yes, us what's a soliloquy
that's also my cousin's name. Yeah, I just I just
saw him over there and London. I was like, soliloquy,
what's up?

Speaker 5 (19:31):
Real quick?

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Is it? Do they think that's where the Globe Theater was?

Speaker 5 (19:35):
No, it's where it's like the general location.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
I think the real one burned down, right, and that's
the general location of and a recreation of where it's.
It's in the same area, but they made sure to
like try to restore it as much as possible, and
you can. When you walk around, they have like the
first like printed edition of Shakespeare's some of Shakespeare's works.
I mean, it's truly an incredible place. It is kind
of funny in the modern sense when someone's when someone

(19:59):
is up there and Shakespeare in plays and then a
plane just sure, but they're like so professional that they
don't even miss a beat.

Speaker 5 (20:08):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
I don't know how they do it, man, It's it's
absolutely incredible.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
But yeah, London was awesome.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
Met some crazy German fans that ended up soiling themselves
at the pub, the local pub out there.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
Yeah, that happens to the best of us. That happens
to all of us.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
But then after London, I went to Slovakia, brought to Slava, Slovakia,
got Slovaki. Yeah, like, man, it's a totally different There's
a lot less going on in Slovakia than London. Let
me tell you that, I don't think they've ever seen
the black person before, judging by the looks that I
was getting around town. But I didn't feel and whatever.

(20:43):
I won't stay on this for too long, but some
places I've gone in Europe have been really uncomfortable. But
I can tell the difference between curiosity and contempt, and
this was curiosity, so I didn't feel uncomforted. I didn't
feel super uncomfortable, but it was. It was a lot
of fun. It's like a very mellow, kind of low
maintenance city. They also have an old town kind of area,

(21:05):
lots of historical sites, but there's not there's not a
whole lot going on and broad a slav but they're
just like kind of hard working people that keep to
themselves and it's but it was. It was really cool
because it was an hour away from Vienna, Austria.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
And I got to take a bus over there and
go see Vienna, which was just like I mean, totally
different architecture and everything from broad to Slava. You could
tell that they have wrong side of history, money right,
lots of gold, lots of palatial manner.

Speaker 5 (21:36):
I mean, it's just it's regality.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
It's opulence on every every single corner, like every every
other street you're going down, you're running into a castle
or some giant palace or some old you know church
that's a thousand feet tall or whatever, you know, like
a thousand stories tall. I don't know, but it's it's
it's just it's just an incredible place. Had some Vienna sausage.
They actually Ween is the name for Vienna there that

(22:00):
they call themselves, and vines is Wiener. So all around
town you see things that say Wiener and I'm there,
I'm too immature. I saw one pest that said vintage Wiener. Yeah,
I was like, Rosie's got a shop.

Speaker 5 (22:15):
That's great.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
But there was just lots of lots of different Wiener
references all around town that make you giggle. But in
between that, you're just seeing some of the most beautiful
architecture that you've ever seen in your life. In Austria
also happened to be my thirtieth country, so that was
that was really really cool, only like one hundred and
sixty three more to go or something like that, but

(22:38):
it is, it is truly, it was a truly, really
lucky experience.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
And it's one of those things where it's like.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
Man, I'm really I'm really doing TV like over in
another country and it be you know, everybody wants to
have a travel show. It really felt like something that
I could do and like that I would like to
keep doing. And it's just crazy because like, man, over
these last couple of years, I have a complied so
many of my dreams. Not trying to like brag, it's
just very surreal for me. Be proud, and I'm like,

(23:06):
I gotta come up with new ones because I'm like
crossing up, grossing up all these things off the list.
And I couldn't have done it without all of you
guys being a part of this team and then you
guys helping me and mentoring me along the way. And
I mean that for every single person that's in this
room right now and every single person that's listening right now,
because I seriously don't I don't take this stuff for granted. Man,
it really means a lot to me and it was.

(23:28):
It was a truly special experience.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
That's cool, man, good good.

Speaker 6 (23:31):
You can go anywhere the world literally is hoping if
you know almost right right give.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
It literally just go anywhere. Like I didn't have any
of this planned. I didn't know a damn thing. I
like to usually like learn the history, read some books,
listen to some music, whatever, learn about the place I'm going.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
I knew nothing.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
I was flying into all these places blind, and it
just made it that much more exciting, and you just
kind of you don't know what you're getting into.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
And sometimes it's not.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
You know, listen, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna probably
you know, book the first flight back to Bradislava. But
that's part of traveling too, is just seeing other walks
of life and not everything is going to be glorious
and glamorous. And it wasn't like, you know, a house
scape or anything like that. It wasn't the favelas of
Brazil or anything like that. But it's just just a
different beat and you see different walks of life and

(24:14):
ways of life, and that's and that's what it's all about.
You get to meet people from all around the world
and see how they're living and it's just cool the
things that you know. There's a guy over there from
that I met and brought us obber. He's from Georgia,
the country, not Atlanta, sure, and he barely knew any English,
but he knew about Steph Curry, he knew who Kendrick
Lamar was. You know, like you didn't even know what

(24:36):
my hair was called, but he knew stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (24:38):
It's just little things like that where it's.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Like, we're all so much more similar, even being at
thirty countries, six different continents, we're all so much more
similar than we are different. But the ways that we're
different should be highlighted and celebrated, you know what.

Speaker 6 (24:52):
Let me say this too, dude, Well, what's incredible. Ukraine
directly bordered Slovakia.

Speaker 5 (24:59):
Yeah, wow there, Yeah about that, I believe I did.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
Yeah, my friend that I've made out there so that
you could hear a lot of Ukrainian and stuff like that,
so it was yeah, it's good.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
For you, man, it was. It was an incredible extent.

Speaker 10 (25:10):
I mean, those were all the eastern Black countries when
we were young, but those were all underneath Soviet control. Yeah,
Slovakia was check was part of Czecho Slovakia, right right,
likeech Slovakia.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (25:25):
Wow, Max, So that's sweet, dude. I really appreciate thanks
for letting me talk about it.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
We're glad you did. That's awesome.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
Living uh uh vicariously through you and thinking I need
to get off my dead ass and go right.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
Yeah, just go anywhere. Just let's go, just see the world.
You know, me and you are are very similar people.
I just just go see the world. I'm gonna go,
just go see the world. See, guys, letter you don't
have the dead ass.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
You're talking to.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
Somebody said that. Thanks, I've done both of you. Thank you, Bye, buddy.

Speaker 5 (25:57):
All right, So.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Yep, that's Maxwell and here's su.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
Now it's time for going anywhere.

Speaker 8 (26:09):
I don't I'm going to I'm going to Bentleyville. That's
as far as there.

Speaker 7 (26:16):
I've seen photos astonishing.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
I would love to.

Speaker 8 (26:20):
Kelly like two years ago. And then I was sitting
here yesterday and I'm like, we should take Louis to Bentleyville.
So we're gonna do it in the middle of the
week because every other place up there is Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
Probably.

Speaker 7 (26:30):
I also heard you say Liam was going to dress
as Boss baby Louis.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
Yeah, Louis is going to dress his boss baby for Halloween.
That is hilarious. Is he wearing a suit of some sort?

Speaker 5 (26:45):
Kelly's.

Speaker 8 (26:46):
I think we're gonna either go look for her one
to day or because the nurse that helped us the
last time.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Well, yeah you would, she said. He looks just like
boss Baby.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
You mean the nurse that help to your last time
when he.

Speaker 8 (27:01):
Had his nine month appointment. Oh who's calling the online?

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Oh no, I'll find out you keep talking.

Speaker 8 (27:07):
So yeah, he's gonna go as boss Baby. So we're
gonna make like three stops and then go home. Yeah,
probably we forget about nice maybe potentially.

Speaker 6 (27:22):
Yeah, Ladies and gentlemen, I wasn't sure it was gonna
happen because you know, it was just the bye week
from college bye week.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
But guess who's on the phone.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
That's right?

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Put him up for me there?

Speaker 3 (27:31):
So is it?

Speaker 5 (27:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (27:32):
We'll do can you get it? Got it? Don't pull
a muscle, I won't, Ladies and gentlemen. Jonathan Gernard, Hi, Jonathan,
how are you today.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Bud yo? Yo? How we doing? How we doing?

Speaker 6 (27:42):
I'm really good man? How was the bye week for you?
How do you feel on this Tuesday morning.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
It was good. It was much needed, you know, obviously
being back overseas for ten days something like that, and
obviously coming back to see the family and I got
to see my daughter, see my wife and all that.
So I think it was pretty good. Definite needed to recess,
So we're good.

Speaker 8 (28:00):
No, Jonathan, One of the best parts of the bye
week when the Vikings don't play is that means you
just have an uninterrupted football all day. Do you watch
a lot of football on a Sunday when you're not playing?

Speaker 3 (28:12):
Yeah, pretty much. That's like my relaxation time. I mean
pretty much. Me and my daughter will sit there pretty
much holiday and my wife is sukin on there and
I'll just turned teeth on, which is eating, relaxing, chilling.
So that's like my little, uh my little my little
time alone a little bit to kind of relax a
little bit watching ball.

Speaker 10 (28:29):
After going through a couple of weeks abroad and seeing
how the NFL is playing in some places where you know,
one place they haven't had a lot of experience, in
one place they have. How do you feel about NFL
expansion to international internationally like that? Is this something that
you do you personally see it as a big future
step that the NFL is going to eventually overcome or

(28:53):
is it you know, is it a struggle.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
I mean, ultimately I think it is great. Obviously, you
want to expand the game, you know, you know, just
get it to different people in different that we're saying
usually don't see it like we do here in the States.
But I mean I had no problem. The only thing
I guess said just going back to back weeks for
us was it was a big issue. I'm gonna have
different teams coming in and out. I mean, I guess
that's that's okay because obviously not there as long. But yeah,

(29:16):
I do see it going further. I mean, I mean,
it's just based off of how things have ran down
in Ireland. You know. Obviously we had a couple of
hiccups here and they're just a little small things. But
logistically I can see it still possibly happening. I mean,
so we were one of the I guess you called
the lab rats to kind of test out to see
how it would be down there, and it was tough.
But ultimately I think that you know, it could be done.

(29:37):
Obviously if you move some things around and just don't
have the same teams out there back to back because
I alluded to But yeah, man, I could see it
taking off Man's I can see. That's definitely what a
direction has said it.

Speaker 9 (29:47):
When you're at home watching football, as you said on
the on the bye week, what is it like being
an active NFL player watching a Sunday full of football?

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Are you are you scouting? Are you cheering or anybody
in particular? What is it?

Speaker 9 (30:01):
What is it like being in the league and then
watching the other thirty one teams play?

Speaker 3 (30:08):
I mean it's cool, man. I think the best thing
is you know, you can't lose, so I mean that's
but outside of that, man, I got a lot of
buddies around the league, and I'm always cheering them on
seeing what they're doing, you know, kind of scouting that
you're talking about a little bit too, watching either guys
we're going to play or guys we're playing that upcoming week.
And I like to watch the other guys that I
know around the league that passed us really well. So

(30:30):
this is good to just watch it all. I mean,
it's I love football, so anytime I can get a
chance to watch it, especially as one of the guys,
you know that you're close to see them put on
the show. It's a definitely warding the sea for sure.

Speaker 8 (30:41):
You guys play an Eagles team this weekend that is
foreign two. They have lost two straight, but they have
a ton of offensive weapons. They kind of haven't really
put it together the last two games. How do you
go into a game where they have a dynamic running
back and two great wide receivers. How do you scout
that team?

Speaker 3 (30:59):
Yeah, I mean, first and foremost, you gotta stop the run.
I think in order for us to worry about those receivers,
we had to make sure that we stopped the first
things to the inside. Obviously, it is that run. And
I think that's they're gonna come out and try to
do that. I think that's the that's everybody, honestly, I
mean everybody who plays so far I had to has
had someone of a dynamic running back, and we just
have to continue to just you know, uh, fill our gaps. Obviously,

(31:19):
stay stay patient. Obviously, don't you know, get too anty
at time to do too much. I mean, just play
as system that we're already been built for. I mean, obviously,
I think we're gonna have a good game plan going
into it, and then after that and then we can
worry about rushing the past and obviously get them off
the field. But yeah, man, I mean definitely stopping that
runs on the biggest thing. We know that Sequon's coming
in time, and that's that's the main thing. They get
the offense going. So my fluck, we do that, we

(31:41):
put us that's a really good situation.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
We're talking with Jonathan Grenard of the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 7 (31:46):
Nard, Dog, you have had a good season. You've been
very good and very effective since joining the Vikings last season.
I'm reading an article I have it pulled up in
front of me right now from Easy Sports, of all places,
it doesn't really matter where it's from, but this author
describes you as making an impact in nearly every sense

(32:07):
of the word. Defending the running game as a pass
rusher in drop coverage, Grenard is making every other player's
job easier and that is huge for a defense that
has seen a lot of growth.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
How accurate do you feel like that is?

Speaker 7 (32:24):
And how just satisfied and proud of yourself are you
at the impact you have made?

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Yeah, I was just talking to somebody other day about it.
You know, because you know, I mean, you got ones,
and at least myself, I hope myself to really hot tendence,
you know, missing sax miss and tackles in general. I'm
gonna hope myself to higher standard. So I feel like,
you know, I'm not finishing on these plays. But then
I was talking to other people other day and it's like, listen,
you're still setting people up. You know, whether you're not
making a play, you know you're filling the gap sending
to somebody else. I think that's great anytime. I just

(32:54):
personally want to affect the game, period and whenever I
can in any way, whether I'm making a player or
somebody else is making it, helping them out make that play,
I'm all for it. I think it's definitely a lot
more plays to be made out there. Obviously, we still
haven't played our best football yet. I mean, we've had
a really good, good game obviously when you go back
to Cincinnati where you know, they had the most amazing
game anybody's ever seen from a DV. But overall, man,

(33:16):
I just think that we still haven't played our best ball.
And I think that's the part where you know, it's
great to see obviously we're coming off this by week.
It's great to finally to put it together. And this
is a better a great opportunity to do that coming
up on Sundays. So I'm excited man. Like I said,
I look to hope to finish these plays, but definitely
looking forward to set the game anyway possible is what
I'm here for.

Speaker 6 (33:36):
It doesn't look like Will be one hundred percent healthy,
but we're getting a lot of people back. One of
those people, of course, being Brian Cashman. How glad are
you to be getting that guy.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Back there with you?

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Cash Man is hilarious.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Man.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
Cash is like one of those He's like a little
kid at heart. Whenever he's not in the game, you know,
he's kind of like, you know, it's going to just
get around the game. Whether he can just give us
two point of hell, he'll put his helmet on if
he could back then when he was was hurt, if
he could. But it's great to have him back. As
we all know, Cash is like the nucleus of our defense,
who is the big communicator of us. You know, he
pretty much kicks us all together. Those guys who are

(34:09):
in obviously IP and E Will did an amazing job
when they were in, you know, and now they can
just go back to being themselves and Cash comes back in,
you know, just you know, keep everybody on the same
page for communication aspects. And then obviously we can't forget
her out of his playmaking ability. I mean I said
all the time, Cashes and get hurt.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Cash is we're still talking.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
About him being pro bowler. I mean, I still think
he should have made it last year. But one of
the best, if not one of, in my opinion, the
best lineback in the game. And it comes to all
around us of a football player, you know, to to
kids and get us back on on track.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
Hey, Jonathan, does it matter to you who starts at quarterback?

Speaker 3 (34:44):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (34:44):
For us? Or then you.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
Saying like uh for like.

Speaker 5 (34:49):
Like between McCarthy and Wins.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Oh oh yeah, I mean I play defense, so yeah,
it don't matter to me. I know that we have
a lot of trust in both and I think that's
the great thing about it. We know Jajay is gonna
obviously come back and do the thing, and Carson is
just gonna be right there.

Speaker 11 (35:04):
Man.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Carson has been a great guy and who knows, night
see him out there as well. So I have no
idea literally that I wish I could give y'all like
the answers, but but it's great, man, I have two
quarterbacks and the coaching staff to put those in the
best situations because no matter what, we're going to be
in a put in the situation to win. So it's
many times on the defensive side we can give them
the ball back. That's where we can help ourselves out

(35:25):
to just continuously give them, give them the ball and
get them some some reps and get them opportunities to
try to make something happen because, as you know, just
those one one opportunities every every you know, every now
and then, and obviously we have to score situations. It's
not good to put on any quarterback to where you
know every time they stepple to the play they have
to deliver something, even though that's the ultimate goal. But
as a defense, we want to just continue to just

(35:45):
try to give them opportunities. That's that's our goal.

Speaker 6 (35:47):
Is one last thing for Jonathan Grenard and again thanks man,
I appreciate. I can't believe it's already been through the
bye week, and it seems like a minute ago we
were starting there in the locker room in London and
now here we are about to get back after the
by bye week. It's a new game at us Bank Stadium.
There is there comfort and finally just playing a regular
old noon game at home.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
No, yeah, I mean people, it's funny like people think that,
but it's like that's kind of like the norm. You know,
we play our best, honestly, well, I've seen that we
play our best at these type of games. You know,
you wake up and get right to it. Uh, the
Bank is gonna literally going absolutely insane with Philly coming
to town. I'm especially us coming up and went all
the way from h in London, so I think we're

(36:27):
in a good spot. Man. I'm excited to see this
place be rocking. I heard that we always go to Philly.
This is my first time playing Philly, so we've always
went there. I've heard in the past me here in Minnesota,
So now that they finally get a chance to come here,
it's gonna be something great. I know that the Fantasy
support has been waiting for so I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Man.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
I can't wait to get back out there and make
some plays and obviously do it in front of the
best fans in in America, so I'm excited to look
forward to.

Speaker 6 (36:50):
It as always. Thanks so much, it's great to talk
to you. Johnsan We'll see you on Sunday always.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
Man, thank y'll.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Hie for what I'm so glad we're not going to Philly.

Speaker 5 (36:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
Yeah, you've been a bunch, right, Lord, I go, You've
earned those How great is that?

Speaker 6 (37:07):
I wasn't sure that you know, who knows what the
schedules like on coming back from bye week? But I
thank you Sarah, and thank you Jonathan for everybody who
makes that happen.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
He's the best guy. That's a giant dude, man. Yeah,
I mean super and I'm.

Speaker 6 (37:20):
Only five six, I'm a little dude, right, but man,
standing beside him and Ben in the locker room after
the game, I'm like, am I a human?

Speaker 5 (37:29):
I mean you're halfway there?

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Thanks? Thanks a bunch of.

Speaker 8 (37:36):
Here are the ten scariest movies according to Science. I
haven't seen them. I don't think Martie's seen them, so
we're basically relying.

Speaker 5 (37:43):
On science accord. According to Science.

Speaker 8 (37:46):
Yeah, I'm The Science of Scare project came out with
the list of if let me start over. The Science
of Scare Project came out with their list of the
twenty twenty five of the scariest movies according to Science.
The test subjects had to wear a heart monitor to
track their heartbeat through each movie screening.

Speaker 5 (38:06):
Okay, okay, give it to me, babe, number one, Sinister.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
It'd be best if your ten to work.

Speaker 5 (38:11):
Oh yeah, it's no, it doesn't matter, sinister.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
Even heard of that?

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Sinister?

Speaker 5 (38:15):
Have I seen from twenty twelve?

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (38:20):
Yeah, you see?

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Oh yeah, no, thank you posters.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Oh yeah, yeah, let's get Ethan Hak. Yeah, that's the Yeah,
that's the Is that the guy, the phone booth guy?

Speaker 5 (38:34):
No, that's uh phone booth. No, that's uh.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
Yeah, no it is. It's the guy. They just put
a sequel.

Speaker 6 (38:41):
Out, like now, it's out right now where there he's
wearn a mask and it's like.

Speaker 5 (38:45):
You girl, that's a that's a different movie.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
I'm pretty sure I'm not right, because that.

Speaker 8 (38:51):
Movie, the Phone Booth bit, was out like three years ago.
This came out in twenty twelve.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Eat my shorts phone.

Speaker 5 (38:58):
Maybe you're thinking of Superman the pitche It might be
called phone.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Booth, isn't it?

Speaker 5 (39:08):
Hold on one of us?

Speaker 6 (39:09):
It doesn't matter anyway, Sinister looks scary. Yeah, and according
to science, it'll make you have a barney, give you
a boner.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
That is what it says. It's they put her mic.

Speaker 6 (39:18):
You're thinking a black phone, oil boy?

Speaker 1 (39:23):
You are cone booth?

Speaker 5 (39:25):
Yeah, that's all.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
There's a little kids in the attic. Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (39:29):
How about the movie host? Have you seen that from
twenty twenty?

Speaker 2 (39:32):
They make delicious brownies in such like.

Speaker 5 (39:35):
Have you seen the movie Insidious?

Speaker 2 (39:37):
Yeah, that one's scary.

Speaker 5 (39:39):
Number five the conjury in the first one.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
Yeah, that's great. That's a great scary film. That's just
a good movie. And it's scary as hell. No, seriously,
it's good. And the reason I brought the list up. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (39:51):
Number six, Hereditary.

Speaker 6 (39:54):
That's the scariest movie ever made. I don't care what
anybody tells you. That's the scariest one. I was on
a plane, Marny watch it on a plane, and I
was scared blankless. And I was on a plane, the
least scary place to be if you're not going down,
you know.

Speaker 5 (40:08):
What I mean.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
Plenty of other people around.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Yes, it looked nothing like a scary house. I was
assing my peace.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
