Every Friday around 8:15-8:20 a.m. on KFAN 100.3 the Power Trip Morning show plays the Initials Game. The game involves 12 items people, place, things, phrases or anything as long as they share the same initials. All 12 items share the same initials. The contestants do not know the initials until they are revealed shortly before the game starts. Each item has 6 clues. As soon as the contestants know who or what the host is describing, they yell out their name. Their name is their buzzer. If the contestant gets it right, they get a point. If they get it wrong they are out for just that item. The item does have to be pronounced correctly. It is best out of 12 with tiebreakers if needed. Tiebreaker items have 3 clues.

Casey and Rockville wherever the hell thatis? Thinks I'm going with IG for
initials game five hundred. Is Caseyright? Does he have at least one

This is good, good guy.Today? Was that exceptionally hard today?
That was very wow. That wastough. Good one, good one.
You say that you won? Iknow, like, why do you
think the rest of us are feeling? He's got high standards for him?
Got pretty bad? Can bring itup now, it's the times a.

(24:23):
Here we go, there you go. That's all all right, so quick
recap. About an hour and ahalf ago, we spun the wheel for
the first time for the charge Challengepunishment. It landed on John Krisol's sliver.
That's not a euphemism. He selectedPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania. A lot of
us would have picked Los Angeles, but he took Philly. Gave you a

(24:45):
chance. I think Zach is ata safety net here. There's a lot
of short or drives now, butthere's still a couple of giant ones on
the board with Philadelphia. So wehave all of the cities on the board
that the Vikings lost to in twentytwenty three. We have every buddy's name
except for Criesol. And of coursenow Philadelphia is off the board. So
the punishment this year you have tofly to one city, drive to the

(25:07):
other, and then fly home.So you're most likely flying to Philly,
driving to the city we're about tospin, and then flying back. Are
you ready let's go. How doyou feel? I'm uh, I'm nervous.
I'm thinking since I don't know,I just feel Sincey, you're feeling
good, you think you're gonna getlucky feeling anybody but Marty? All right,
So Nick's gonna spin the wheel. This is gonna seal Zach space.

(25:33):
Spin. Let's go make some noisein it. Let's go. Let's go
Los Angeles, Come on, LosAngeles, Come on, it's spinning it's
spinning, not Detroit, not Sincy. Where's La? Keep going? No,
it's got to go much farther thanthat. No, not Detroit.
Okay, no, no, it'sgonna be hot. Get to hockey,

(25:57):
the hockey. Oh my, yougotta be kidding both, hey on.
So the first idea, the firstspin landed right between Detroit and Chicago.
So we almost got crazy lucky onthe first spin. The second spin landed

(26:22):
in between Green Bay and Kansas City. He almost got crazy lucky twice.
Instead, it goes the opposite way. This is the worst case scenario from
didn't we didn't we determine that Phillyto La is the longest track. Yeah,
oh my gosh, oh do youget out of you Zacho? Right

(26:42):
between Kansas City and Green Bay.Unbelievable. Chris, we have nine minutes
left in the show. Would youlike to think about this or would you
just like to say the words LosAngeles? Does anybody out there think that
I should go easy on him?Honestly? Is there anybody anybody? I
mean, yeah, make some noiseif you think Chris should be as nice

(27:02):
as possible. That's a smattering, all right, Make a little noise if
you want max punishments. That's like, how far is it? According to
my map that I just pulled upfrom Los Angeles to Philadelphia would take one
day in fourteen hours, non stop, not stopping at all, which is

(27:27):
not going to happen. Zach, what's your cameo? Zach Elverson on Venmo
and cameo and everything? Wait,I would love love the help. And
yeah, like I said, youknow, we'll do cameos on the road.
I'm sure you will, Corey again, if you don't mind, I

(27:48):
want to make sure Tampa Bay,Lap, Kansas City, Philly, Green
Bay, Detroit, Chicago, Cincinnati, yep, in Denver, ye,
Philly's off the board, yep.I mean he's like Zach basically worked for
free for the longest time, right, and he worked for me for an

(28:11):
entire year on the road. Wetraveled all over the place together. He
works harder than any of us,Let's be honest. I mean I could
I could make it sort of hard, like sending to Denver or something like
that, which is you know, still a long ways. At least you
know he'd do mushrooms and pot right, you know, right, I could

(28:34):
send it to Tampa Bay, whichis tough, and let's face it,
he'd be in deep trouble in theDeep South. I don't know. Again,
Should I be a little easy onhim, a little bit easy?
Yeah? No, everybody, Okay, if you want me to be a
little easy on him, make somenoise right now. If you want me

(28:56):
to be really easy on him, like Green Bay or Chicago, make a
little noise for me right now.Almost I'm here. Is that Kelly,
she's sweet? Who wants me tosend him to Los Angeles? Yeah?
Everybody? Well, I love you, Zach and you've been really great for

(29:21):
the show. And if you dieon your way to l A, I
feel bad. See you later.Philly to Los Angeles, California. Philly
to Los Angeles, California scenario.I'm so sorry, zach O. It
was a pure pressure At least it'snot Tampa to to LA, which I
know, as you said, Coreywas way longer. I did think that

(29:45):
that's the worst scenario. This isbrutal. This was the worst case scenario
that we made. Which yeah, man, but well, okay, well,
cross country road trip here we go. Let's see, I'm typing in
right now. Find out exactly howmany hours it is the flight would be
six hours, but you're not allowedto do that. Sorry. I got

(30:07):
one dollar and sixty nine cents inthe Venol funds. You're gonna need more
than that. Thank you, Cooper, he gave you one dollars. What
a guy. The shortest rop betweenPhilly and Los Angeles, according to the
role planner, it's a yeah.I mean the driving time is approximately forty

(30:29):
eight hours and twenty nine minutes.Oh geez, you said it's a six
hour flight. I mean think aboutthat. Yeah, Holy smokes. Wow,
okay, leck and again, ifyou're just tuning in, some of
the stipulations are he is not allowedto bring friends or family or pickup pitch
hikers. This has to be allby yourself. Can he can you have

(30:51):
what do you call those ladies atthe Can you bring a lot lizard?
Al? I like her. You'repretending you don't know what's I guess technically
you would be allowed to hook upwith lot lizards, but they can't be
in the vehicle, right, well, vehicle stop it? Okay, Look,
it would have to be a stoppedcar to be a part in it
can't be as a part of yourjourney. That has to be solo twenty

(31:11):
seven hundred and thirteen months. Jeez, if you were going to walk it
take you forty one days. Yeah, I'll donate to the Venmo if you
do that? How much a dollarsixty nine? Just like Cooper again,
how many? How many days doyou think you'll do it in because you
don't have to do it and youknow straight across obviously can take your time.

(31:32):
What do you get? What doyou think of? Well? Well,
plot, I mean, thankfully GoogleMaps is pretty good on that.
And we'll plot how much I cando safely in a day. And I
want to do you know, eighteenhour drives, but we'll do it safe
and again, well probably, Iguess there's a good chance I could join
the show from four different time zones. Well, even if you do ten
hours a day, according to Chris, we're talking at least four days or

(31:55):
so of driving, So you're definitelygonna even if you left on a Friday,
you would still not be back byMonday. You're gonna at least do
one show from the road minimum. This is a I'd say this is a
five day minimum. If it's fourand that's at minimum two huh, unless
you're left right, after the showon Friday. I suppose and you got
to fly to Philly and then flyhome from Lay as well. It's gonna

(32:17):
be a very expensive good Yeah, you better start selling something. Better put
those socks. You better start doingfeet picks on only fans? Do we
do? I have to fly fromPhilly? Or can I drive through Philly
and then go to like Newark orsomething? Because what what Philly's airport is
like? Too bad? Say theyhave like three flights a day there,

(32:39):
Well, then you better catch one. I better hope they're not. Yeah
wow, so yeah, So thedeal is though, you have to fly
to Philly first and then drive toLos Angeles. I guess we didn't specify
you could theoreticoretically go to l Afirst too. It doesn't technically matter.

(33:00):
That's t you want to fly toLos Angeles first, that that counts too,
But you have to fly fly toPhilly. I'm sure they're going to
be very very different. Good luck, zach O, Zach go there you
go, buddy, did that happenthat? I mean, we would show
you. It's like, was itone point five percent to hit a name?

(33:20):
Well, we hit both. Okay, if you combine them all,
sure, it's almost twenty percent. The Great A J. Montster has uh
sent me some numbers. These areestimates because you got to rent a car.
Yep. The estimate is four hundreddollars in gas, four to five
hundred dollars just in mileage, aboutsix hundred dollars for the flights, and

(33:45):
unless you decide to just sleep inthe car, about three hundred bucks in
hotels. So that's nine I meanit's going to be more than that.

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
