six nothing over Woodstock Academy. They'rein the championship game on Monday night and

so they're in the championship. Chessure'sgonna try to get there and the
Spartans try to upset them and getto the big dance. Monday night,

don't necessarily need a whole lot ofscoring for a hockey period to be entertaining.
We didn't get a single we didn'tget a single goal. I don't
have a whole lot to recap inthe intermission report. But that was a
thrilling first period of play, youknow, And like anything else, that
starts slow and then they get theirbearings and then they start hitting and taking

getting some good chances to seek himgood passing in this game. Although I'll
tell you am and he didn't startthat slow in his game. They came
right out, they came flying.It didn't take them long to adjust to
this larger ice. I almost feellike, and maybe you can correct me
if I'm wrong, Coach, Ialmost feel like the larger ice plays more
to Amity's advantage. It gives thema little bit more in space. I

think in tight quarters. Cheshire isa really difficult team to beat, one
because they're so physical, and twobecause they're they're pretty much all good with
the puck. They are, ButAmity's got so much speed that this larger
ice is actually working to their advantage. They could spread the playout, or
a couple of Cheshire forwards can getcaught low and it makes the breakout a
lot easier for the Spartans. Well, we'll find that. We'll take a

game and one of these teams willjoin them. And it was a good
first period, really entertaining, eventhough no scoring was had by either team,
it was definitely a good battle andan even matched one at that.
Amity came out flying, had anearly shots on goal lead, Cheshire came

battling back. A first period endedup at a fourteen to twelve shots on
goal advantage for the Spartans, soAmity out shooting Cheshire by two shots.
But it's all about how many getpast the goaltender. And while a couple
did in that period for either team, there are a couple of posts that

their time of possession is at leasttwo or three minutes more. I
mean, they definitely controlled the paceof play for a lot of that period.
When you contrast that to the firstperiod, first period, I'd say
Amity controlled more of the period.This one, I would say Cheshire controlled

more of the period. And again, I mean it's been a fairly even
matched game, but Cheshire is startingto settle into their game. Amity's got
to find some extra energy in thelocker room. See if they can't come

innocent blocker save from Gerlon. Butthe problem is that blocker rebound came skirting

but Biagio Pepe, and again Isay this all the time, there's

redirected off of an East David,off of an Amity defender in front.
