A Granby Middle School's Epic Fail

So out in Granby. They say local school administrators failed
to intervene after a middle school girl complained repeatedly long
running sexual harassment and bellieving family went to police. And
this is all according to a recently filed lawsuit. So

Granby Board of Ed claims the sexual harassment occurred several
times over the course of the twenty twenty last school
year at sadly Granby Memorial Middle School a middle school
man damn. The initial incident happened the first September fifteen,
twenty twenty three. A male student and a group of

friends quote unquote threatened to physically and sexually assault this
female student. Ten days later, the girl and her family
filed a formal report with the school, and that did
result in a meeting with the principal and the assistant principle.
The suit claims the complaint eventually was verified and a

safety plan was put into place two weeks later. We're
now in October twenty twenty three, and the goal here
was let's remove this female student from classes with these guys.
That's an insane solution, man. I remember one incident. I'm digressing.

(01:27):
But my lord, if my daughter ever came home with
a story, and Jimmy will tell you, I mean he's
a farmer mariade. He laughs at Macho Viddie, as he should.
But if I ever heard a story that school would
have I would have What I would have done to
that school would have been unholy. But I remember them
sharing a story about a boy harassing a girl. And

you know what the school solution was. He got followed
like they put a like a chaperone on him. He
just from class to class an aid who is now
additional duties included following the student from classic class instead
of When I was a kid, something called what's the expulsion?

Kids got expelled left and right. When I was a kid,
Michael Centaffio got expelled for a cherry bomb in a bathroom.
It was very entertaining and no one got hurt. They
expelled people left and right, and I went to a
school that people paid for. They were actually saying, thanks
for your tuition, we hate your son. What happened to expulsion?

So the solution here was let's just okay. So him
and all his bros Are talking about all of them
doing something to in middle school. Let's just get you
out of class. You won't run into them on campus
or in the halls. We'll just get you out of classroom.
That's not a solution, man. We get to these guys

cornered the girl again attempted to block her from leaving
the cafeteria. Ah, your plan of removing her from classes
they were in ultimately impeding her actual you know, education
didn't work now because they both eat and they all

(03:23):
eat in the same calf and they again made sexualized
and threatening comments. Cut to a dance held by the
town's Youth Service bureau, again they cornered her, this time
with her friends, and this time, outside of sexualized and

(03:46):
threatening comments, they lobbed in some racist language, including explitive
leyden terms. After that, they were they were warned no expulsion,
no suspension. I'm not anything about They were warned, don't
have any further contact with her. This school blew it,

warned no further contact. However, they later continue to engage
in more bullying and harassing behavior because no one was
allowed to smack them in the side of the head.
What you do is you capture a little bit of
the ear. You leave some ringing. I mean that old
school stuff.

Even or just somebody doing their job sitting in a
closing that door ominously, sitting across from you, leaning down
on your knees and looking and going, this is what
she's saying? You said to her? Tell me if this
is what is a real man looking at a young
man and helping shape him. Because Dad's clearly flopping and saying,

why would you say that to you? What's going on
with you? Maybe what's going on at home that you
would say that to a young lady, like what's wrong?
And lean real clothes, put that you know, you know
how to put that fear in you, lean real clothing.

So did you really say that? Because I don't know
what to do. There's a part of me that wants
to throw up, and then there's another part of me
that I can't do anything to you. I just want
to go to your house and just break your father's nose.

Like what do I do about that? I guess I
got to contain my rage, which maybe you should learn
how to do. And then the kid leaves there like
oh bugged out? Like there's just so many ways. After
the dance, the girl's family decided to report it to
the police. The complaint further alleges at the school never

documented the incident and they say, well, it didn't take
I think, or it didn't take pikes out the school.
The dance was not part of the school. No accountability,
