Cameras On School Buses In New Haven

New Haven announcing legislation aimed at protecting little kids. Little
kids walking to school, all holding hands, it's all being
on line from reckless drivers. This legislation hasn't been approved
by the Board of Alders yet. It's an automated monitoring
system and cameras just being added to New Haven school buses.
I don't know that it'll even change anything, but the

city submitted a proposed new local ordinance to hold reckless
drivers accountable. We won't and keep the roads safe for
little kiddies. And ikkabab Alaker said, the reality is people
are not obeying the traffic laws. Yes, and here's a
little bit more with the reality. And there's not law
enforcement out there to see to it that they do.

But this is the sitting mayor. The reality is people
aren't obeying the traffic laws. You think, so what tipped
you off? Is it all the footage of the Kia
boys doing donuts around squad cars, laughing at law enforcement,
and then he went on to say, reckless driving puts
students in danger, brother, you do. The city said that

more than three hundred and thirty buses transport over seventeen
thousand children to school in New haven one bus driver's
quota to saying we come to a stop, we dropped
the kids off, and a lot of drivers are trying
to beat the buses here and our kids are in
dangerous situations. I don't know who has peace of mind

putting their kid on the bus new way, and I
never did. I was never a bus man. In general,
this is insane. Cameras are the solution for a thing.
What will happen, will happen. The horrible will happen. But
now we'll have footage that we're able to watch. So
we're able to watch. Ooh, if bounced right over the
hood of that car, we watch it. We watched a

horrible thing that we haven't prevented from happening happen. We
look for a license plate, what do you want to do, Jim?
Seven times out of ten is not any existence. It's
one of those darkened I don't even know how we
do those, those license plates that get turned off. Every
time somebody whizzes by me that I feel them on

the highway, I look and their license plate is shaded.
Let's go best case scenario, the three at it. Then
I see a license plate, we trace it goes to
no one and nowhere. What's the percentage you want to
hazard A guess, it's the percentage of okay. And we're
gonna find the owner of that Kiya Like who out there?

There's cameras everywhere, and they don't care. How many times
have you watched kaboys footage? People aim their phones, they
don't I've never once seen a Kia boy hanging out
the window of the vehicle. Hak, we gotta get at her.
