Speaker 1 (00:00):
Chris Salcedo, Welcome back to the show. How are you,
my man?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
How about you, sir?

Speaker 1 (00:05):
I'm doing okay, but I'm not a legend like you are.
You're doing great work these days. I love the title
of it. Is it a new book, The Rise of
the liberty loving Latino a New American Revolution? And would
you can say it's a rise? There is a surge
as far as Latinos are concerned. Because I've seen it

(00:26):
for a good long time, I feel yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Well, I mean the twenty twenty four election is the
focal point. And we had never seen that level of
support for the America First Coalition slash the Republican candidate ever.
President Trump's shattered records in the Latino communities. So yeah,
it was nearly a fifty to fifty split. And if

(00:50):
that dynamic holds, the Democrats will struggle to win another election,
that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah, And the liberals hate hearing any Latino love for Trump,
that Latino's love of America, that there's they're patriotic, and
it's like, well, that's the whole point, Like that was
the point of immigration in the first point was they
came to America to love it and to wave our flag,

(01:18):
perhaps alongside theirs, but not theirs alone. And I don't
understand the liberal aversion to this concept.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Well, the liberal aversion is grounded in their love of Marxism,
their love of complete totalitarian government control. Anybody who is
antithetical to that goal of complete government tyranny is an
enemy to the Democrat Party, to the Marxist, to the
leftist in our society and the world abroad. And frankly,

(01:49):
when people come to America, they don't come to America
to tout the flags of oppression that they left. You know.
That's why I, as a liberty loving Latino, I am offended
when I see flags of oppression flying in my streets,
like the Mexican flag, or the Palestinian flag, or the

(02:09):
flags of Hamas and terrorist groups. No, no, no, people
come to the United States to breathe free, to live
under that banner that is a symbol of freedom, which
is the American flag, a symbol of unity which is
the American flag. Everything else is divisive.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
And for those of you who don't know Chris Salcedo
also the executive director of the Conservative Hispanic Society, here's
a quick story for you too, Chris, that you might
might feel free to share with your audience. You know,
I've got a nineteen year old son, and I'm sure
you recalled nineteen and how you felt that nineteen and

(02:46):
your the self righteousness that comes with nineteen. And he
came with me out to dinner one so one of
my sponsor on the show, Betty Be, came a friend,
a Latino conservative, the business owner, and he sat at
our table and we had this great conversation and he

(03:10):
was talking about his frustrations as a business owner here
and what he was seeing happening at the border and
how he did everything right and he's a proud you know,
Latino conservative. Well, my nineteen year old was dumbfounded by this.
When we left, he's like, I can't believe any you know,
I can't believe what Arturo was saying. He said to me,

(03:30):
and I'm like, because your only your algorithm is spoon
feeding you one thing and one thing alone. You can't
think of Latino conservative or conservative Hispanic as an oxymoron.
There are many, You're just not being allowed to see them.
And you know, all he sees in his feed is

(03:51):
AOC who is the embodiment of that, you know, the
exact opposite and that demo. You know that that's who
you want. A nineteen year old is who I want
to pick up a copy of the Rise of the
Liberty loving Latina on New American Revolution. I don't know
how you get it in their hands. So I don't
know if you're getting to get in school libraries. They

(04:13):
seem very choosy about what they have in their schools nowadays.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Oh yes, the government runs schools. And by the way,
we talk about every concept that you just outlined, including
the gov ED schools inside of the book. But yeah,
GOVED is more dedicated to putting pornography in smut, yes,
in front of your child, rather than putting somebody who
loves the United States of America is working to preserve

(04:38):
the Constitution and freedom and liberty. They are much more
invested in perversion being shoved on your children's throats in
GOVED because, as you know, gov ED is dominated by Democrats,
and you know what, there's some blame for Republicans. How
dare those Republicans allow the leftist infiltration into gov ED,

(04:59):
turning over our children to these people who are frankly
thick and twisted individuals in their advocacy.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
And I see here and again Ron with Chris Salcedo,
and I know that our liaison he had tied to
your return to the show. The story which I didn't
realize more information had come out as far as this
truck driver who had I didn't realize he failed his

(05:29):
CDL test ten times in two months before this crash
in Florida that killed killed three people. And along with
that the story of an illegal immigrant trucker accused in
a fatal California crash who was released by the Biden
administration after crossing the border in twenty twenty two. Do

(05:52):
you worry like I do, Chris, that everything Trump is
doing right now, as aggressive and as push came to
shove as it all is just kind of get undone
in twenty twenty eight.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
That's I know.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
I should live in the now, but all I keep
thinking about is everything he's doing is just going to
get undone in about three years.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Well, that's I think that's part of the advantage that
Trump has, and he knows and understands. As you're now
getting Democrats who are coming out in places like Nashville saying,
oh wow, there are things that are working or Memphis,
I should say not Nashville, Memphis. Memphis has turned around

(06:34):
because of law and order. Democrats are saying, it's unmistakable.
And Democrats had been conditioned to think that the squalor
and the crime and the degenerate way they were forced
to live by Democrats was the best they could ever
hope to achieve, and that maybe that is the best
that you could ever hope to achieve under a Democrat,

(06:55):
under a leftist. But Trump is showing them a different way.
And I think that this is the problem with what
Trump is doing and why Democrats are opposing him so much,
is because if the Democrat voters, which by the way,
are leaving the Democrat Party by the millions since twenty twenty,
if they realize that there's a better way and they
don't have to live the way the Democrats claim they

(07:16):
have to live, then nobody's gonna want to go back.
And about those drivers, let's not forget that those drivers
in California and Florida. I interviewed another man, his name
is Marcus Coleman. His daughter, Delilah, she was a victim
five year old. If they were hit from behind by
one of these illegal aliens who were given a commercial

(07:38):
driver's license by these left wing cook freak and nut states,
and he plowed right into the back of the car.
This little girl, now she's nonverbal. She has to get
medication and food through a tube now into her stomach.
Her life is completely turned upside down in ruins. Her
family's expenses are through the roof. All because Democrats love

(08:00):
breaking the law and hate American citizens with such a
passion that they would turn over a weapon, a big
rig to unqualify the legal aliens, and they would issue
drivers' licenses that say no name given at the top
and call it a real ID. It is my view
the Democrat Party is actively and openly a national security

(08:26):
threat to the United States of America. They're politicians should
be held accountable for the death and destruction they're unleashing
onto our people full stop California, Washington, and New York.
Those officials who are doing these things should be held
criminally liable for what they're doing.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I agree with you wholeheartedly. I'll take it one step
further to Chris. You know, you see, we're seeing these
stories of the car wash busts right all of the
Ice agents who are descending upon car washes and snapping
up six seven eight employees of car washes. I want
to see the owners of these businesses get slapped down too,

(09:07):
and questioned.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
You.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
These truck drivers, somebody's employing them, and they're well aware
that they're employing somebody who's here illegally. Maybe not in
all instances, but we've got to get to a point
where those who are exploiting this labor paying them crappy wages.
Not to be an advocate for them, but they're giving
them these gigs. We got one guy here in Connecticut.
He owns three car washes. Every employee was here illegally,

(09:32):
all right. So Ice showed up and all the liberals
were outraged by it, snapped up every one of his employees.
Why isn't he shut down? Why aren't his books being
looked at? Why isn't he being audited? They had no
Social Security numbers given to him. You know, these guys,
these business owners have to be in hot water too,
I believe, well.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
You know a lot of them do have those security numbers.
I remember a report about twenty years ago where the
IRS said they knew were nine million illegally alien were
because they were giving fake Social Security numbers. And let's
remember what the Constitution says, the federal government has the
sole responsibility of stopping illegal immigration. You know, your Connecticut

(10:12):
car wash guy, he would never have been able to
hire illegal aliens. If the federal government had done its job,
there would be no illegal aliens to hire. I mean,
if we want to change the constitution to say it's
up to the business owners of America to police immigration, Okay,
let's go ahead and pass that law. But right now
it's the exclusive purview of the federal government. And when

(10:33):
the federal government decides it doesn't want to adhere to
the constitution or adhere to the rule of law, there
needs to be consequences for governments. People in government need
to go to jail, not two individuals who are just
trying to make a go and hiring labor out there
because there's a labor shortage for their particular industry. You know,

(10:53):
e Verify could be required tomorrow, but it's not being done.
Why because government fails. Government always fails. And that's why
the conservative beliefs it is best. This is a Salsato
show axiom. It is best not to give government more
power lest it be abused. So we ought to we
ought to be holding government as accountable as we're desiring

(11:15):
to hold the nation's business as accountable.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Wait, did you just describe you described that. You called
it a Salsado axiom.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Yeah, we have Salsato show axioms. There's a total of
six at this point.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Why, I mean that should be the name of the
next book, the Salsado axiom. It actually sounds very Jason Borne,
the Salsado axiom.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Yeah, does you should run with that? Man? That really
caught my attention.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
And what followed it is indisputable, inarguable, And you're right.
I'm glad you slapped me down as far as those
social Security number situation is concerned. But even those guys,
and you see these shops, they're in broad daylight. There's
one in downtown New Haven. Get your here. I don't
know how these people aren't aren't getting arrested themselves. You

(12:06):
could get buy license plates, pick them right off the
wall and PLoP them on a car. So you're uninsured,
you're unregistered, you don't have it. Like we're circling back
around to the Florida story, there are actually businesses that
sell license plates and they're right out in the open.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
We've got to get somewhere on that front, I believe.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Too absolutely, you know what, and you're not going to
get it as so long as the Democrat is in
charge anywhere. I mean the idea that the Democrats want
to be Americans anymore, that they believe in the constitution
and the rule of law. That ship has sailed. We've
had since the era of Obama began. We have had

(12:45):
confirmation that these individuals are trying to turn us into
something that we were never intended to be. And there's
a class of people, and we talk about it extensively,
we give it different names in the book, but it
boils down to this, there are two classes that people
in the world. Frankly, there is one class of people
that wants to breathe free. There is another class of

(13:06):
people that wants to enslave and Heretofore, those who want
to be free have been the dominant political force in America.
But they now have an inn though. Those who want
to enslave people now have an inn and it's called
the Democrat Party.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
That's well said. That's a Salsado axiom.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
Perhaps Chris Salsado I appreciate you coming on. Good luck
with this new book.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Yeah, Benny, you know, by the way, it drops on
December ninth. Oh and you can preorder it now and
save yourself a couple of books. So why not.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
There you go, December nine, good to know. Apologies for that,
and Chris Salsato, thanks again, my man.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Thanks Benny,
