Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Lorraine. Yes, oh, I'm glad we finally connected. Fine,
you have an easier time connecting with spirits than you
do with Vinnie Penn.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Oh. This schedule of mind here is brutal.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Well, I want to get into that really quickly. If
you don't mind, will hit the ground running with Lorraine Warren.
You said to me once on the phone last week,
it seems busier than ever. Why do you think that is?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I don't know what's to attribute it to it. My
schedule is double or triple what it was.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Well, I wonder if and this might come out of
left field, but you're probably used to things coming out
of the left field. Yeah, you know, the number one
movie in the country this weekend is a sequel of that.
Paranormal Activity does seem like more than ever. People are fascinated.
I don't know necessarily that there's more belief, but fascinated

(00:50):
with Paranormal Activity they are. Yeah, I didn't know. I
mean the movie's popular for a reason.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yes, they really are. I mean they are packed audience. Yeah,
it's all the schools.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
But do you want to know what's even interesting to me?
It's not in the way that it was those many
years back. I had John Edward on the show recently,
and it's not necessarily people. This is what seems to
me who want to speak with a loved one or
that it's people want to be scared. It seems almost
would you agree with that.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
It's true.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, it's like they really do.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah, it's true. I mean the programs that you will
show them and where you show them evidence and alle ah.
They are just absolutely thrilled by this. Yeah, I mean
the show that will be doing at Alignment Center. It's
always and you know how big that place is.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Yeah, that's a great room.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Oh yeah it is. It's a wonderful place. The lecture.
I like re lecturing there because years ago, when ed
and I were first getting started, we taught courses.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
There and you mentioned that. I don't know if you
recall many years ago I interviewed the both of you
on my old radio show on casey one on one
Top forty show right next door to where I am now.
So I'm certainly sorry for your loss.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Well, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
And maybe you're asked this all the time, maybe I'm
the first one to do it. I lost both my
parents since I last spoke with you, too, oh, and
you know I was never necessarily a believer. But then
you lose someone and you kind of want to believe,
You want to be proven wrong. Have you had any
instances with your with your late husband, Yes.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yes, oh, no kidding, Oh yes, Sonny. Let me tell
you the very first one. It was thirteen days after
he passed. I was on my back deck and I
was having a cup of tea and I was actually
talking to him regarding the fall leaves and how he

(02:50):
loved the fall of the year really, and the phone
rang and it was a scriptwriter from Warner Brothers who
had written a script on our life. But when I
picked up, he was crying. He said, oh, I just
can't even believe this. He said, I loved fat Man.
I said back to him, not nothing that coincided with

(03:15):
what he said to me. I said back to him,
you know what I always knew when Ed was at
peace and Ed was happy. If I heard him whistle
the next day, whether it been Ed's birthday. He died
just two weeks before his birthday.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
I went to masking communion form. I went over to
his grave. Shite, I see the monument wasn't there yet?
And I said, Honey, if you were here today, I
know what we'd be doing. You would get up first.
You would say to me, get up, get dressed. We're
going to our favorite place for breakfast, and it's my tree.

(04:01):
I said, We're going to our favorite place for breakfast today, honey,
and it's my tree. I went to the Bluebirds. When
I got there, I said table for two. And I
wasn't so least bit uncomfortable with that. I gave them
my laughter, and I told the little girl that waited

(04:22):
on me, I said, if my husband were here today,
this is where we'd be celebrating. But I lost him
two weeks ago. And she walked away. She turned back
and said, oh my god. So she walked to another
part of the restaurant and a woman who looked out
of the kitchen. She had not informed that woman. She

(04:47):
came out. She said, are you missus Warren? And I
said yes. He said, we have a problem here. I
said the problem. I never knew of the problem here.
She said, I think it's the first time we ever
had it. I said, oh, what happened? She says, when

(05:07):
the dishwasher came in this morning. He has been with
us many many years. He called me and said, I'm
going home. I'm scared. You're the what And he said
to her, I heard a real man whistle.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
How could you say? A man though? Just how did
he know it was a man whistling? You know?

Speaker 2 (05:30):
I had him come out and sit right across from me.
I said, sir, you tell me exactly what you heard.
I heard a real man whistle twice. I just said,
got here before I did. You always tease me about

(05:53):
being late. It's phenomenal, But when you have the opportunity
to that happened, well, it is.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
And as I said to you, it wasn't like I
was a staunch resistant. I'm surrounded by people who are
real believers of that. When my parents passed, they're always
seeing in photos what do you call them? Or am
I right? Yes? Or they keep saying there's mom, there's
And I'm always if anything because it kind of hurts
a little bit, you know, like that's so silly. But
now I'm at a point where it's like, all right,

(06:23):
I want to I'm salivating to be proven wrong. You know, yes,
I don't know, and I don't.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Know there's a deaf afterlife.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
What are your thoughts on reincarnation.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Well, I'm Roman Catholic, so I mean I'm not supposed to.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Right, You're not even supposed to be doing it according
to the Church. Even just speaking with those who've passed
on is in kind of I am talking to I know,
I know, I mean I was raised Catholic myself, so
to make these distinctions is difficult.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
But you do, yes, I believe my husband and I
have been together before.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
So reincarnation from human to human? Do you believe in
reincarnation from human too? And you know, somebody said to
me they're certain their dog was someone famous and oh.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
No, oh no, no, no, okay, no, no transmigration.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
No transmigration, okay, interesting.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
All right, No, I don't believe in that.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I have dogs. I have all sorts of pets, and
I love them dearily. Our German shepherd appeared to us
after death in all.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
View of three people, to who are the three people around?
Do you mind my asking?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Ed and I and this woman who was visiting us.
Ed went out to empty the garbage. What Ed had
if a flat top doghouse made for made for him
so that he could sit up there during the day,
and then he was all he lived in the house,

(08:03):
so Ed would say to him when he would go out,
this so that he could, you know, put the leach
on him and bring him in. And he was Ed
went out empty the garbage. His focus went there. He
came right in the house quick to this woman, myself,

(08:25):
the three of us just stood there in awe as
he staged away.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
That's amazing, you know, I read. I want to see
if I got this right. I think it was Dale
Evans who said right, who said if animals don't go
to heaven, I want to go where they go? Write
something along those lines.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yes, Oh yeah, we have always been animal lovers, have
always been well.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
I got to tell you, I feel kind of a
weird piece just talking to you. I don't know why,
I don't know if I'm supposed to. I'm glad we
finally connected.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I'm so glad we connected.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
And thanks for sharing so much with me, and I
wish you luck. And again I'm sorry for your loss.
But it's been nice to talk to you again, Lorraine.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Thank you, very nice to talk to you.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
All right, take care now, goodbye to
