CT's The Little Pub Announces Yet Another Location

I was very excited to see that one of my
favorite restaurants is coming to my town. I thought it
was just going to be the second one. Have you
ever heard of the Little Pub? The Little Pub is insane, man,
I just think about them and I get hungry. The
food is so good at the Little Pub. It's an
old Sabrook. I get so excited on Fridays. I mean,

I'm just such a foodie when they put the weekend,
like coming up this weekend, I'll go through everything meat loaf,
sliders and this egg rolls and unbelievable comfort food lo
and behold their Connecticut based chain. I had no idea.
I thought it was an old Saybrook restaurant. It's got

a like an old old school phone booth out front.
It's very new England. I'm late to the game. I
realized gang they are in Root One Food run my
last book, which was a good couple of years ago.
Come to find out, not just Old Sabrook, Stratford, Wilton, Fairfield, Renwich,
Westport and now Branford. But I'll tell you what my

quandary is. So they say each location features an English
cottage style exterior, and it does fit so well in
Old Saybrook, like where it is in Old Saybroo. It
just works, man, You'd think you were in Sturbridge Village,
you know it does. It has that look, cozy interrier
and bar, even the cocktails are just out of this world.

And they just announced coming to Branford. The location though,
it's the Old Dragon East, which was kind of a
legendary Chinese restaurant for a good long time. Man, it's
not the most quaint location though. I don't know what
to do here because a jaunt up Route one to
Old Saybrook like this was something I've loved doing these

last couple of years. My daughter loves it there too,
and I'll say it time for a little little Saybrook
run which you know where I'm at twenty minute drive
and we love it, you know, glass half empty, half full.
I look at it now, it's gonna be like right
down the street, no leaving town. I don't know if
I love it or if it ruins this fun little

skirting up we hit the little shops that Dot Root one,
you know, the antique shops and the consignments that what
have you. You know, there's so many great little it
robs us of all that now it's going to be
two minutes away. The tie smash burger, sesame, tie season smash, patty,

melted jack cheese, smoked bait, smoked bacon bits, teriaki tariaki,
saute onions on a brioche bun. I'm all about the
well yeah, I know right, it is the age of
the briochepun. Not for you. How about Hurricane Alley wings,
crispy wings and a tangy Carolina gold barbecue, honey drizzled

little buttermilk ranch on top. Or the fried chicken go
Boom bowl. Those fried chicken bites tossed in a garlic glaze,
piled over herb excuse me, fried brown rice and topped
with avocado, ginger pickles, a drizzle of boom boom sauce.

I don't know what I'm gonna miss, the driver, but

I can't live all right, Let's look at a weekend specialist,
a little pub calling Doctor Barbecue. I saw this one.
It's brisket slow cooked in doctor pepper. What is going on?
Melted chaddar beer, battered onion rings around the sandwich, smoked horseradish,

brioche bun because they know, they know it's about the brioche.
The go go beef bowl, Go chu jang ginger, soy tenderloin,
beef tips, sautata onions over a pile of wasabi mashed potatoes.
I gotta go straight there. Long Wharf egg rolls, bria
cheddar jack cilantro, crunchy egg roll wrappers served with a

and in. It's coming to Branford, but it's robbing me
of my ride to Old Zaybrook. I don't know what
