Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, so we are back with doctor Chasm Kazeroonian, Connecticut's
own Ah and I appreciate you taking the time to
return to the show. You did get so it continues.
It's a week later, and the feedback you're getting, the
appreciation you're getting from folks in Iran or here in
America who have a vested interest in what's going on

(00:23):
in their homeland, you got a lot of love. I'm
glad you noticed it.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yes, I'm humbled by all the support. But the truth
is that I think that I speak what is on
the mind of many Iranian Americans in the aspora or
within Iran.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
What I've noticed in the past week are kind of
uncovered as I continue to dig deep and speak with gentlemen,
you know, have guests on like yourself. Is I didn't
realize just how David and Goliath, the whole movement is
it really is. I don't know how big the numbers are,

(01:00):
and I don't know if you would be able to
hazard a guess, but it's the people fight. It's raging
against the machine, organized group of people principled and taking
on a regime. Very David and Goliath, and I think
that's why maybe you voiced some of that skepticism that
you did last time you were on.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
So I'm delighted that you're bringing up a very important issue,
you know, and this is what I was trying to
get across in last time, and every opportunity that they
get that instead of trusting the Iranians and Iran's revolutionary
guards with guns in the streets, the United States and

(01:44):
the rest of the world should listen to the Iranian people,
should listen to their voice, and should listen to their
true resistance. Organized resistance. You know, every day tens of
thousands rally in western cities to support the majority in
the half, which we call m K and the National

(02:06):
Council of Resistance of Iran. Inside Iran, there are thousands
and thousands of resistance cells cells being anywhere from two
to three to two larger numbers within Iran who are
leading the protests in the streets of Tehran and other cities,
and under Mariam Rajavi's leadership, are the leader of the resistance.

(02:32):
They the resistance, have uncovered secular secret nuclear sites, has
exposed human rights abuses, and laid out a really clear
plan for change. No. We talked about last time that
we talked, we talked about her ten point Plan, which
is essentially what they refer to as a Bill of

(02:54):
Rights for Iranians. It has very prominently in it a
future government that has no giocracy, no monarchy. It has
it offers full equality for women, for minorities and their
rights for environmental care, and above all, the secular, non

(03:22):
nuclear republic at peace with its neighbors. And we also
talked about over four thousand lawmakers worldwide. And the bye
part is a majority of the US representatives in the
House with the House Resolution one sixty six that they

(03:43):
have already endorsed. These are not token support. These are
really broad, meaningful, strong support.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I appreciate that you just used the word neighbors too,
while I had said last time we spoke that, I
just think it and it's in America's best interest and
Iran's best interest that iron find freedom, find democracy. I
think it will benefit our relationship in the long run.
But when I look at Iran and continue doing my homework,

(04:15):
I just see that they're there. I mean, they've got
a documented track record of repression and terror attacks in
the Netherlands. You know, they don't play nice with many
so what are those relationships like this with this regime,

(04:37):
with Iran's neighbors.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Ion is using its neighbors as grounds for expansion of
its terrorism, and terrorism for Iran is very strategic. It's
not something that they do randomly. It is something that
is tranned out and Iranian government invests really well, really

(04:59):
big money and on these expansionism and whether it is Iraq,
whether it is Afghanistan, Suria, and that basically the West
Bank or Gaza, whether it is in Yemen or you
mentioned European countries, but also Australia. And there has been occasions,

(05:24):
there have been cases when Iranian operatives have attempted terrorist
actions within the United States. And Iran does this for
several strategic reasons, above all because it detracts attention from
what is going on inside Iran, from the repressions, and

(05:44):
from the building their nuclear arsenal. Just imagine, just imagine,
if Iran, as as evil, Iranian government, as evil as
it is, is equipped with nuclear arsenal, then then they
become a major force in the world. And just imagine

(06:10):
how much they want to impose their will, their evil will,
to the rest of the war. They must be a
stop and in doing so, I think that listening to
the Iranian citizens, Iranian peoples, not not the armed factions
of the regime, matches and then their organized resistance matches

(06:33):
US values and interests. You mentioned that it gives Iranians
control over their future and gives America a partner that
that keeps its promises.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Yeah, well, that's why I began this whole series. It's
turning into if you will, How do you feel doctor
about this band that just went into place because Iran
included in as far as Trump banning nationals for twelve countries,
it includes Iran, and will that could preclude that could

(07:09):
preclude many an important uh you know, voice from being
heard in Iran from America US getting anywhere helping really
in any way.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Yes, I truly understand that bands like this might might
hear some Iranian people, but I think it is important
that we keep our eyes on the ball, and the
ball is how do we stop the Iranian regime from
expanding its terrorism. They are not shy about sending their

(07:42):
agents and the lobbies and the advocates to the United
States or any other country, and they must be stoped
by by any means. No, we have been advocating that
the revolutionary class should be in the in the terrorists list,
not only in the rightense States, but everyone. We have
been advocating that all the organizations, all the companies that

(08:06):
have dealings with revolutionary gods should be banned. We have
been advocating that basically Iran should be banned their financial
organizations and vehicles should be banned from being able to
to buy arms and and and the United States have
never attempted to stop sending medications or stop Iran from

(08:33):
buying medications or food, but Iranians, Iranian government must be
a stop from from selling their oil to get the
money and support revolutionary guards inside Iran and their taxi
forces in the region.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
And I was just going to say, you just mentioned
just two big biggies right there, oil and big pharma,
you know, meds and oil. We have to see to
it that that that continues to go back and forth
before human lives. I think our priorities are are in disarray.

(09:10):
And by our I mean America's it's big pharma and oil.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
But I think that about all priorities should be stopping regimes,
Irnian regimes, sure, export of aerism. I'm repeating myself, and
I apologize.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
No, no, none at all. That that's what I meant
by priorities. Yeah, that's absolutely what I meant. Let me
ask you this. So when I post our exchanges and
I get the feedback and I look, I see, you know,
sometimes I'll see hashtag n CRI, I of course National
Council of Resistance of Iran. Then I'll see hashtag n

(09:48):
CRI alternative. Fill me in on that distinction.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Basically, n CRI National Consolar Resispense. Every're on their their
their website, and I invite your listeners to visit. The
website is ncrdashran dot com. And we believe that, we
truly believe that this is the only democratic alternative to
the Iranian regime. This is the only organized alternative that

(10:18):
opposes the current regime. But beyond that, it has a
very well defined plan for the future of Iran, for
transition to a democratic society and a democratic country. So
that I think that when when you see the World Alternative,

(10:39):
it is within that context.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Again, it's doctor kasm Kazeroony and we will continue with
our coverage. Thank you again for your time, Sir
