Speaker 1 (00:00):
Forres last mayor of Kingstown. I mean you're working with
the Jeremy Hawkeye himself.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Dude, absolutely, man, absolutely, Renner.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
You got to get yourself into the I mean you
clearly need to work out a little bit more. You
need a little bit more of a workout regimen. But
we got to get you into the MCU. I'm a
big comic book geek. I got the perfect character for you,
if you want to pitch it to them. There's a
character called Brother Voodoo. He was real popular in the

(00:31):
seventh All Badass Man, you'd be awesome. You got to
pitch that. You got it from Vinie Penn and New Haven.
You should pitch that to Marvel. What was Renner like?
I mean, this is quite a cast, really, Jeremy Renner.
You got Diane Weeze. I mean that's a legend. You
got Antoine Fuquapi behind you. Doesn't get better than that.
A lot of credibility here. Tell me about the show.

(00:53):
How it happened? What we can expect?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Oh man, the show is amazing. So how it happened?
You know, I had not, but I will say when
I got this audition, man, it just felt so let
you're fine. I just knew something different about this. I
took off work the next day and I really just
put all my time into it. And the funny thing
is they kept extending like the deadline, so I turned.

(01:17):
I turned my audition in early. So I'm sitting here like, man,
everybody else has so much more time to work on it,
and you know, lo and behold, man, I got the audition.
It's such an amazing, such an amazing feeling, and you know,
this is my biggest role today. It was amazing. Working
on set with Jeremy is amazing. Everybody is, Emma, Toby

(01:39):
Taylor Shardon is amazing. She Dilan is amazing. It was
just an amazing cast minutes. It was a you know,
a surreal experience for me. It's a great show and
it's like a movie, you know what I mean. But
it's a TV show, so it's amazing. But the show
talks about the McCluskey's family, the business of incarceration. It's
a crime drama. You have my because he was just

(02:00):
played by Jeremy Renner. Basically trying to keep your lines
clear between being incarcerated and those who run the prison
or those who are on the right side of the
law because whoever who runs the prison is really a
coin toss, you know what I mean, Because you had
a prisoners who can't really run the prison, and then
you have the guards who are trying to run the prison,

(02:23):
but they do a lot of different things, you know,
so you see like some police mutality. You kind of
get to see a lot of cops that are switching
side the corruption. Like I said, you get to see
the business of incarceration. And what I like about it
is not only do they just focus on what's going
on inside the prison, but they show how that also

(02:47):
effects what's going on on the outside world everything.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
You know, I gotta tell you too. People love shows
you know, odds and oranges that and you know what's
real weird. Ladies love shows out jail, like it's the
Ladies show Us about jail. So it's just a genre
in and of itself. But it's an interesting thing, you.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Know, it is, man, I actually have I got a
post from so on Instagram. There was a There was
a lady and I appreciate her for it. It was so
funny though. She said, uh, she said that I was
the finest sociopathic murderer on TV.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
She me. Yeah, that's just I just that's so.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yeah. It's cool though, but you know, even even the wire,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, absolutely, it's definitely a genre of it. And we're
talking about Mayor of Kingstown, which for me, it got
a little confusing there because I got Mayor of Easttown
and Mayor of king something.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Man.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, my son and I had this weird kind of
Abbot and Costello moment of one of us was talking
Mayor of east Town, the other one was talking Mayor
of Kingstown, and we we didn't realize we were talking
about two totally different shows. You know, they sound so similar. Uh,
so you get a nice slow burn you you could
have a good long run here with Mayor of king sound.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Absolutely, man, I think, and I think I think they.
I think we will for sure.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah. I think it's great stuff. I can't wait to
check it out. Uh and again we're talking to pe
Dog himself fores last and just take it for bring
it up to Jeremy ren right. I don't know how much.
I just finished watching Hawkeye, you know, binge watching that
one over on Disney Plus. But it's brother Voodoo. You
pitch that to Marvel, I might have just really set
you up for life. Man. You let me know.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Hey, I appreciate it so much, Vinnie, I need it,
I'll take I'll take it all.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah, I love it. Like like I said, you just
you might have to work out a little bit, but
other than that, I think you got it.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Yeah. You know, I'm working on that too. Man, can
send me if you work out playing.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
You know what the best is the picture of you
with the acts. It's like, yeah, you seem to really
need that axe. Dude, what do you even need it for?
You're so jacked. It's good stuff, man, and you're a
heck of a talent. You're about to blow up, and
I wish you the best of luck with Mayor of Kingstown.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Oh Man. Thank you so much, Bennie Man. Thank you
for having me this morning. It's been amazing.
