NEW HAVEN: 13-Year-Old Killer

Changes needed. I'm about to do the story of a
fifteen year old. They got the murderer, he's thirteen. That's
the New Haven you want. A thirteen year old arrested
for shooting and killing a fifteen year old student just
a couple of weeks ago. We reported it here September

twenty seventh. They made the arrest Friday morning at the
residence of the thirteen year old. Just think about thirteen.
I remember my man at thirteen, that kid, that kid's
head was in the clouds. He believed in superpowers still,
he believed that was a possibility. This kid, all he
knows is violence. It's all gunfire, gunshots, that's commonplace, gun violence, death.

But it's all you know in New Haven. And that's
how the mayor will speak about it. Though, Ah, they
knew each other, that's it. That's that's his view. When
year old gets popped by a thirteen year old in
the city where he's mayor, where crime is rampant, violence
is rampant, and he wants to talk about it, not
like it was in twenty eighteen. The fact that it's

going down it matters to me. Then he said that
to me because I'm like I don't really care that
there's a you know, it's down compared to twenty twenty.
Well I do, like a total politician. Well I do.
A fifteen year old got gunned down by a thirteen
year old, and you'll say they had a beef. In
other words, they're black, inner city where gang violence is prevalent.

Maybe it shouldn't be. Maybe we work on it not
being that. Maybe we vote in someone who'll care about that.
New Haven streets are the least safe they've been in
my fifty eight years. That's it. Somebody posting right under
the story, someone should tell this truly failed mayor that
if he just ignores the number one problem in the city,
it's not going to get any better. Here's proof it's

only gotten worse. Thank you. The lack of comment on
such an insane story is very telling. The fact that
this isn't national news is even more telling. Shot on
school grounds by a thirteen year old. News flash, the
left does not actually care about black people, and I'm
one of them. Tried and true new Haven are saying

this guy does not represent us. You can do something
about this come election day. I hope that you will.
I might take the Wednesday off after election. I may
take it off. Yeah, I may take it off because
I can't have my son continuing to go into the
city unless there's real change, and if that change doesn't come,

and take the day off and have a nice breakfast
and try to relax.
