Speaker 1 (00:00):
I just saw that my man Alan Tudik, who is
on this show a couple of years ago when his
series Resident in Alien launched, got canceled Resident Alien, and
I think there's a lot of people who need to
hear why it got canceled, right from two Dick himself.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
The you know, technology has come along and the streaming
platinum streaming model is the favored model. And we were
on broadcast television, which is an old model.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
So we all taught to talking corporate talk. It's an
old model, and we need more content.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
And the old model used advertisers, yes, and advertisers the

can't afford to do a show.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Like this anymore, Colbert, anyone? You mean this is a
resident Alien. I mean resident Alien. You come on, Trump
canceled your show because I love al Alan two. Dick's very,
very talented guy. He's a big DC guy. Right now.
I love this show. It's a fun show, Resident Alien.

(01:34):
But this is what's going on with television right now,
you know, especially as he put it, which was really
we're broadcast TV. It's a different beast. We're not on Netflix.
You know, We're not a streamer. We rely on advertising dollars,
we rely on ratings. This whole game is in the
throes of changing
