Bridgeport City councilman Castillo arrested again, charged with mishandling absentee
ballots during a city election. Does he change the elections results? No?
Has it happened twice, yes, two election cycles, twenty nineteen,

city Hall in New Haven right now to oversee marriages

harvesting voters ballots during both the twenty nineteen and the

Connecticut Chief State's Attorneys Offen posted a press release late
Friday afternoon that accused him of illegally taking possession of

absentee ballots during the September twenty twenty three primary when
he was on the ballot and was campaigning in support
of Gannam. His defense attorney and a shucking turn of events,
has not returned phone calls. AHA. As far as it's
no comment city, Bridgeport is a no comment city. I

mean Wanda sat on the stand. Every question that she
got asked pass passed. She didn't. She was asked, if
I recall correctly seventy five questions pertaining to the video
footage of her stuffing ballots and answer two of them.

I think I recall reporting here. They say that Castillo's
become one of the most well known defendants to be
charged with abusing Bridgeports absentee voting system because of his
position on the city council and because he's been accused
of it in back to back mayoral elections, same as Wanda,

same mayor. Mayor Joe Gannam had this to say about
the whole thing, and the governor himself, Governor Ned Lamont,

this just scandal in Bridgeport. He had this to say,

comment on it. It doesn't even say anywhere that they're
trying to get them to comment on it.
