Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, this is Vinnie.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Hey Hinny.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
Irena Irenarea Arena.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
And you're calling us all the way from Amsterdam. Yeah, yeah,
this is funny to me to We're going to talk
Twilight the movie musical, which gets to the Oakdale Theater
this weekend. Big fan of Twilight myself. I saw all
I saw all of them with my daughter, who's now
twenty two.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
We can't.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
We have like a kind of a joke in the
house that we can't go by one on television and
not finish watching it right there, like if we passionately.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I feel the same, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah, just kind of can't.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Especially if it's a rainy day then we're definitely sitting
down watching it. But I don't understand this. So they
came to me, the gang from Live Nation, and they said,
are you interested in Twilight the movie the live orchestra,
And I'm like absolutely. They're like, would you want to
talk to maybe doing interview with the conductor And I'm like, wow,
I would that would really be something, And then a

(01:04):
couple of yeah, A couple of days later they tell me, look,
his schedule is just too jammed, but we have a
woman from the production crew who's the biggest who's the
biggest Twilight fan in the world? And I'm like, like,
this is the strangest interview, So.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
How good? Speak of what do you do for the show?

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah, no, I'm not like in the production crew, what
do you do? That's really funny. Our musical director, by
the way, is Shelby Restler, and she was indeed not
a fable but okay, So to explain it Twightighting Concert,
we are a production company behind Filing Concert and then

(01:49):
we basically do in house production and I'm the marketing manager,
so I basically write this strategy of how to market
Twightighteding Concert into the margaret's worldwide, because we don't just
do it in the US, but we do it in
a lot of countries. We also do it in Taiwan,
for example. We have shows on still in the UK,

(02:10):
So I think of how we positioned at globally, and
then what we do is we acquire IP from the
actual licenser, so Lions Gates, and then we work together
on making sure that their IP gets the concert experience
it deserves. So yeah, we are officially licensed with all

(02:32):
the shows that we do, and we tour those globally,
and I write the marketing e spagy for that and yes,
I am a big twilife plans.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
That's that's funny. I mean, that's that's a fantastic job.
I know. Yeah, but have you ever done interviews before.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
It's so odd that they're like, but we've got like
she works for you know, the production company or you know,
she writes the marketing, but she's also.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
The biggest fan of Twilight in the world. Are you
that big a fan?

Speaker 3 (02:59):
If you're that big a fan, what was Jacob's nickname
for their daughter for Messy? Yeah, that's an easy one.
You don't have to tell you, Irena. I still don't
kind of get what happened at the ending, they're like,
and he's with her now, right, Jacob is with Nessy?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah? Yeah, so he imprinted on her. So that basically
means that they obviously now have a bond and then
eventually I think it will evolve in a relationship when
they're off age. I think that was the gist of it.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yeah, And do you think, well we'll get those movies.
Do you think they're done?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
I think they are. I think they are. I heard
there were some rumors about a series which I've been
seeing over the last few years online, but I think
nothing is confirmed, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed there.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yeah, I mean, I want to tell you that, you know,
I'm such I'm a huge fan of the prequel phenomenon,
like why can't we get that kind of a thing.
But really, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, they're just such
a big part of it for me. It's really a
hell of a cast, you know, Dakota Fanning, just even
Dakota Fanning, she's such a badass in it.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah, everybody.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
I honestly think that they won't be able probably to
find as great as that.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yeah, And isn't that interesting because so many great films
have been able to pull off solid prequels, And we're
talking about Twilight the movie musical this Sunday night at Okay,
let me ask you this arena. Is it like we
can't be getting all five crammed into one?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Is it just the first movie?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yes, it is, in fact the first movie, so the
one that was released in twenty eight two eight, but
then in a whole kind of new way, so you
watched the film on a big screen, and that is
the founded by a lot of candles at the straight lights.
It's really a romantic setting. And then you have on
stage a twelve feet on somla and that's a mix

(05:09):
of rock and orchestral musicians, and they performed the soundtrack
while the movie plays live. So it's like, really the
music and of visuals together make the love story like
it's real, even more powerful. And it's also really nice
to be in a room with such big fans and
experience that altogether. That's what I love most about the experience,

(05:31):
if I'm being honest.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Oh absolutely, Now do we stop down for the huge
Christina Perry hit that came out of there? I mean,
and someone singing it and performing it, because I think
it popped up a couple of times throughout the movie.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Right, they would always return to that song.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
I think your parts you're referring to, right, I'm not
sure if that's from the.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
First movie, but right now that was a later movie.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yeah, it wasctly.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
No, But we have a few iconic songs that are
coming up. This is Bella's lullaby, which you see when
he's saying her like get on my back, spider Monkey.
And then you have that whole yeah, emotional Piano's piano
song will be getting that. We have Iron and Wine,
Flightless Bird obviously, and then Supermatic Black Golf from Muse.

(06:22):
Those are a few iconic songs that everyone knows.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
But I got to tell you the truth. I am
a sucker for a thousand years. It's from Breaking I know,
I'm seeing right here, it's from Breaking Dawn.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I just really am.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I can't hear that on the radio and not associate it,
you know, with the movie. And I've even seen her
live a few times, and I can't think of that
song as independent of the movie. What is your favorite
out of all five? Do you have a favorite, like
Twilight moment.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Out of all five? Wow? Yeah, I don't want to
say favorite, but you know, I don't want to spoil
anything for any well, you know, breaking down, Yeah, when
they have the plot twist with the Fies. I think
that moment is so iconic.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Say again, I didn't get it. Say it again?

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Oh, so do you know him breaking down?

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Right?

Speaker 2 (07:12):
And they have that whole plot twist with the fis
that it seems as if Carlisle dies but then he
I think it's not favorite, but it's like really iconic.
And I also obviously really loved the whole wedding scene
and that they're going on honeymoon. Love it, and then
just the first movie where they meet each other and
see each other for the first time, you know, that's

(07:34):
just so iconic.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Yeah, yeah, I love the battle scene that actually really
doesn't take place ultimately exactly.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
But my favorite moment in all of them was when
she opens those eyes and their their blood right, yeah. Yeah, yeah,
It's just a memory I have with my daughter, who,
however old she was at that point, probably seven, yeah,
maybe nine, you know, thereabouts. And that was one of

(08:02):
the more quiet films because it follows the Honeymoon. Like
you said, it was really wasn't an action packed installment,
but in the end they just left you with that
and you left the theater like waiting for that next
one man.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah. Yeah, I also remember very clearly watching that in
the movie tears there and also being like really shocked,
you know, because also the like the old Dolby sound
system and then opening those eyes. Yeah, it's a core memory.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Yeah, oh no, no, totally, And you're right to say
the Dolby stereo and that's why, you know, I think
something like Twilight, the movie musical can take place because
music played such a prominent role and the film itself
like it's an auditory experience. What are some of the
other movies before we let you go? You made it
sound like you do this. Your company does this with

(08:52):
a lot of different films. What are some other ones
you've been involved in or might be involved in.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Yeah, we do movies, but we also work on Bodoo
series and games, so we have a broad variety. But
one that's mainly mentionable that's kind of in the same
length somewhat is Dirty Dancing Concerts. Really Yeah, Yeah, it's
really nice as well, slightly older demographic obviously. Yeah, but

(09:21):
I love seeing that one as well.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Dancing could have used a vampire.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
That would have been a great plot twist if there
was a vampire and dirty dancing.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Oh my god, I think you just thought of the
best idea every.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yeah, you know, speaking of Patrick Swayze, Ghosts would be
a good one. Ghosts might actually be a really good one.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Yeah, to do.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, well, we were always looking into new ips.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
But I apologize I cut you off there. You were
just about to say, after Dirty Dancing most the other one, No,
all good.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
So you also do like it's more animation series. I
don't know if you know it. It's Avatar the less.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Araban there very popular.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Yeah, that's that's really popular. That concert also like resonates
a lot with audiences, so we do at this moment
as well in the US.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
And then we'll be going into Europe in March twenty six. Yeah.
And we also, for example, do The Witcher in concert,
which is a game.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Yeah, lots of things.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yeah, you've got a very cool gig. I'm looking forward
to the show Sunday night. My daughter doesn't say yes
to many of my invitations anymore, you know, but this
one on Sunday night, she's like, absolutely, she wants to
see this. That's very popular trend going on right now,
watching you know, one of your favorite movies but with

(10:44):
a live orchestra. Yeah, right there, it's very popular right now.
I enjoyed our chat. It's Urana, who's the biggest, the
biggest fan in the you know, in the house. As
far as I said to my daughter last night, I'm like,
come on, what's some trivia. Let's test her, let's see
how good she is. But she didn't want to. She
wouldn't play ball. She didn't want to come up with.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Anything, but I knew I could win. But I also
enjoyed our chest. Thank you so much for your time
and I hope you have a lovely time during the show.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Thanks, thanks so much. Take care now, have a great
day you too.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Bye bye
