Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Minnesota. Goodbye, Jenny and Bailey here, and today is
Bailey's birthday. So let's start off with the first email
that comes from our great pal Janita. Happy birthday, Bailey. Thanks,
she said, I forgot Dave was going to be gone,
and I had already sent in an audio rant, So
here's a written one for you, Jenny. Appreciate you, Wanita.
So neither myself nor my husband smokes weed. We both

(00:20):
did at eighteen, and laughed for about five hours straight,
even while trying to do the HIBBITI dibbity Ellael. Then
after for no fucking then after laughing for no fucking reason,
I ate everything in sight. I knew at that moment
weed ain't for me. Fast forward to today, my sister
in law, at her old age, decided now she wants
to take edibles. She told me she was coming over

(00:41):
and she was going to give me some so I
can try them. She said, it's not like smoking weed,
it's much calmer.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
I beg to differ.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
She gave me a couple, but I'm not sure how
many milligrams.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
It was.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
For a while, I was fine, Then all of a sudden,
I went to the bathroom and they said I was
in there for like thirty minutes because I was fucking high.
I didn't realize how long I was in there. But
the funny thing is that I didn't go in there
to go to the bathroom. I thought I was getting
in my truck. I sat on the toilet and was
looking for the fucking seat belt. I don't know why

(01:14):
I listened to her ass telling me it would be fine,
no more drugs for me.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Damn it.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Well that's my written ran for this week. Love y'all.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Wenny, that's so funny.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Your story is almost like ninety percent of people's stories
when they tell edibles, that's okay.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
And I don't really indulge in that stuff ever unless
I'm with like my friends, like for my friend Sarah's birthday.
She always like rents the cabin and we like drink
beer and take gummies and that's like it.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
But we're all, you know, safe at home. We have
no where to go.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
And I the thing, if somebody says, like, what is
it like taking an edible, I'll be like, well, time
doesn't exist.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah, that's what it feels like.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
And it's so like I don't do it a lot,
so I don't really know, like how it feels all
the time like I do with like beer, If I
drink three beers, I know what I'm gonna feel like
versus if I take an edible.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Who knows.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
But I always know that time doesn't feel real where
I'll look down at my phone and I'll look up
in like ten minutes.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Have past and I'm like, what what happened? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:10):
And so everything is just so why don't you being
in the bathroom for thirty minutes and not realizing it?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Hilarious? So true because time doesn't exist.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
See, and mine is kind of the opposite, because time
does exist, and it goes so slow for me when
I've gotten too high off edibles, where I will be
looking at the clock being like, okay, it is ten
eleven right now, Hopefully by like ten twenty seven, I'll
feel a little less high, all right. I look away.
Twenty minutes later it's ten thirteen. What what do you

(02:41):
It's been twenty minutes? Like why am I anyways?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
So?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Yeah, I exist, Yeah, it's weird, all right. Next one says, hello,
don't say my name. I've been wanting to share this
with you guys for a while. But she shares an
Instagram account of a realtor in Florida. That's very funny,
so we'll check that out. But then also says I
got it from Reddit. But if you have a lifetime
of a flying first class for free to one destination only,

(03:06):
where would you choose? Bailey, what do you think?

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Disney World, Baby, bring me to Orlando mco Hey. Yeah,
I would want to go to Disney World all the time,
whenever I wanted.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yes, that'd be great.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Mine would be to Bangkok because it's one of the
longest flights you can ever take in your entire life.
And if I get that first class like lay down situation,
I would go there, and then I would have no
problem taking a business or a coach seat to different
areas in the Aaysia.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Asian character at one place.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yeah, just like first class to Bangkok and then I can,
you know, jet over to the Philippines or jet over
to New Zealand or something and it's not going to
be as rough, So that would be mine. Thank you
for that question.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
All right.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
We got an email from Sarah who went on the
Big Bus Adventure with Allan Coult last night, had a
great time and want to just just make sure that
she sent us some fun little gifts and that we
got home and we did. Oh, Sarah, thank you so
much for that. We'll make sure that Dave and Vant
and everyone gets theirs because I know you sent you
literally left us things for Alyssa Vaughn's girlfriend, Susan, Dave's wife,

(04:10):
Jen Colt's wife and everything. So thank you so much, Sarah.
We will make sure that everyone gets there. She is
and they're really cute and let's see.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Also, we got junk journals, which I've never done a
junk journal, but now I know things to do a
junk journal, which is fun. And also, like, what a
unique gift that If anyone listening is like I need
to have a gift for somebody, you get them a
notebook and then all the stuff to make their own
little junk journal.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
And that's what we got, which is so cool. Yeah, yeah,
super fun. Okay, good morning, wonderful people. Again, Please feel
free to use my name. I do go buy Pixie online,
but my friends and family know me as Kendra. Last
time I wrote in, I mentioned that sometimes you might
have to say things you don't mean. I just want
to thank you for correcting me. As an avid critic,

(04:57):
I sometimes assume the worst in public figure famous people
like you. This is an issue that I have been
working on, so I appreciate you setting me straight. Yeah,
they Pixie had written and I think honestly the last
time when Day was gone and said that, like, you
guys have to say a lot of things that you
don't mean, and we were just saying, like, that's actually
not true. We really do state our opinions and what

(05:18):
we believe in. We don't get into the weeds of
a lot of things because if we did then it
would become arguments. But anyways, it says happy birthday, Bailey.
I hope your weekend is filled with fun, friends, laughter
and love. And so this is a strange segue, but
I have another commercial truck driver PSA for your listeners,
if that's okay. Four way flashers are for your protection

(05:40):
as well as ours. When we flip on our four
ways in traffic, it's to let everyone behind us know
that there's something coming up on the road ahead. Oh,
usually it's a slowdown on all the lanes, so quickly
whipping around us might be hazardous. Sometimes there's debris on
the road or an accident in the lane we're in.
Don't be scared. Just slow down and look around. We'll

(06:01):
all be fine as long as we're paying attention and
driving with intention. Stay safe out there, friends. Thank you
as always, love you all and wishing you happiness. That
once again comes from Kendra slash Pixie.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
I didn't not know that about the four way flashers,
like that there's either been coming up, because I always wonder,
like yesterday when it suddenly like downpoured, I was driving
home from debate and it was soup like suddenly like
flash flood rain.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
And there were so many people with their flashers on.
And I always thought like, oh, it's hard for me
to drive normal speed because it's raining like cats and
dogs out here, So I'm gonna put on my my
little flashers there. But I've seen people, you know, driving
with flashers. I just assume something's wrong with their car,
and so I always thought that that's what it was.
And I know that's probably part of it, Like I'm
driving slow because there's something wrong with my car.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
So I'm going to put my flashers on.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yeah, But I didn't think it was like a warning
for like there's something coming up.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, I I just got a random taxl on. Oh hello,
see if I have anything else. So it's a random
text and it is from a six one two number,
and it says Jenny, I need Oh well there's already
grammatical errors. Oh no, Jenny, I need AT talk to
you as soon as possible.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Who is it?

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I'm assuming it's spam. Yeah, but it does come from
a six one two number. So that's where it's kind
of like door respond I'm not going to Okay, absolutely not.
But it didn't make me nervous at first that I
was like, I need to talk to you as soon
as possible. But it says I need AT talk to you,
so I'm gonna assume it's spam. Oh but yeah, if
you get a if someone texts you, I need to
talk to you as soon as possible.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
What the what do you think?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
You think something's wrong? Okay, anyways, I don't know that person.
It's probably spam. Next email, this says hello everyone. It
comes from Thurston. Heard the call in about the girlfriend
who does cosplay. I have done Halloween costumes for years
and did my first comic con costume contest just for
funds to use This is how it goes. You line
up early to meet the judges. There, you can show

(07:57):
pictures of your project in progress, if it starts up, start,
if it starts up and runs, or anything. I did
Indiana Jones with the boulder trailing behind on an RC
car chassis chases. How do you say that?

Speaker 2 (08:11):
I don't know, but it's like a remote control car.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Okay, I asked you want to see it run? Judges,
would we in total agreement? Store bought costumes are disqualified.
From there, you line up for the big stage contest
and walk across the stage with your creation. Winners are
picked and group picture after. So yeah, a little insight
on how those contests work at Comic Con cool so

(08:34):
neat to me.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
So I was like, definitely on the team of the
girl who did cosplay because that is so creative and
takes so much work and effort, and like creativity in general,
and I think we should celebrate creativity period.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah, Okay, there's an email. This is so funny. There's
an email that was sent in like on Monday that
we haven't gotten to because it was an image and
Day probably was like no, but it's titled Jenny Doppelganger.
So at first I'm like, well, let's.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
See another one.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Let's see what it is this time Jenny Doppelganger. She's
kind of hot that side profile though. Did Jenny book
a modeling gig. Have a great Monday, Sarah. And there's
a screenshot of something and it is me. It actually
physically is me because my friend he just launched at
hat brand called or Outfitters, and he had asked me

(09:23):
if I would help model for the launch of it,
and so, yes, that is actually h Sarah. That's me
in that photo.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Gosh it looks just like so.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yes, you'll see if you follow them, you'll see a
lot of stuff of me, videos, pictures and stuff, modeling
the hat for my friend's hat brand.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Wearing your own clothes, which I appreciated.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yes I do, Yeah, I wear my own clothes. It
was I mean, the hat brand, the whole thing is
being like authentically you and whatever. And I am an
outdoorsy person, so that's kind of where like I fit
in with their marketing and their launch and stuff. So
I did a photo shoot by a lake with like
a tent and stuff with them, and it was super fun.
I have never done a photo shoot quite like that before,

(10:05):
but it was really fun so like the heat of
the summer, it was very hot. It was like a
Friday night and I'm wearing yeah, I'm wearing like a
flannel and leggings and a hike. Yes, so it works
out they did. They definitely made it give that well,
to be fair, that was when we had awful Canadian
smoke and so when we did the photoshoot, we had
a bonfire going and one of the neighbors like called

(10:27):
and was like, you need to put that out immediately.
Remember this. We got in trouble for that, and so
we had to do like whatever we needed with the
bonfire as quick as we could because we had to
take put it out. So anyways, Sarah, thanks for sending that.
That's too funny. All right, Well that is actually it
for emails today. It's Bailey's birthday. She talked about this already.

(10:48):
But once again, you're doing a frog and Toad.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
I'm doing a party tonight. We're going to a brewery.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Me and I have eleven people that said that they're
going to my little party tonight. It is frog and
Toad themed. So we're just doing kind of like forest
Creature Cottage Core just for fun, like why not?

Speaker 2 (11:06):
For fun?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
And then we're going to see improv and the improv
people that we're going to see I know and love
them and I see them all the time. So I
messaged one of them and I said, what do I
got to do to get my name implemented into the
improv show tonight? And they said done. So I will
be a character in the show tonight.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
For my birthday.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Oh that's so fun.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
I'm not going to be in it. I'll just someone
will be like hey Bailey, and that's me.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yeah. What else are you up to this weekend? More
birthday stuff or not?

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Really?

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Really, I don't have anything really tomorrow. I'm like volunteer gardening,
which is what I usually do. I work at the
Renaissance Festival on Sunday, so if you're coming out, come
say hi to me at the Danger Committee red Tent.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Other than that, though, yeah, I don't really have plans.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
I have a friend who was like, do you want
to go to the Renaissance Festival on Saturday, And I'm
just like no.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
I want to drive all the way there and no. Yeah,
So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Maybe I'll bop around maybe I'll go to you know,
sell some of my clothes somewhere and try and get
stuff done.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
I don't know, or just sit around.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yeh knows.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
The world's my oyster. It's my birthday, by hey, what
are you doing?

Speaker 1 (12:08):
So I'm heading back home to Final Lac, Wisconsin, which
I have not been home since either end of March
or beginning of April. I don't really know. So it's
been a pretty long stretch of not seeing my family.
I've seen both of my sisters randomly. It's a long
story why. My older sister was in town recently, but
then my younger sister, her and I did an Iceland
trip together and her and I did some stuff in

(12:31):
the up over Labor Day weekends, so I've seen them. Yeah,
but i haven't seen my parents in a hot minute,
so I'm excited or my niece or nephew. And it's
my nephew's birthday, so I can't wait. He is such
a little shit and I'm excited to see And I
feel like they grow afoot every time I see home,
because I just don't see them for a long periods
of time and it makes me really sad. So I'm

(12:52):
excited to see them and be there for their birthday
because I miss so many of those big life moments
with my family being five hours away. And yeah, and
then honestly, I'm helping my sister out with a bunch
of stuff tonight. I believe as soon as I get
into town, she asked me to come over and help
her with setting stuff up. And I don't remember. I

(13:12):
think there's a theme to the birthday. I can't remember
what it is. But my sister's one of those moms
that really makes things very magical for her kids, and
so I'm excited to see what she's drummed up this time.
She always does a fun balloon arch a lot of
times that she creates herself. But yeah, their house has
been under construction for a hot minute, basically since they
moved in a few years ago, because they always remodel

(13:34):
any house they've lived in. So I do not know
what the condition of the house is right now. I
think the kitchen's still torn up a bunch in the
main area that we hang out in, but we're pretty
much used to it. We've spent the last like three
Christmases in like areas where there's like it's just the flooring.
There's like the carpet was ripped out already. You have
to wear shoes in their house right now, is like

(13:54):
kind of the situation. But that's it. And then Dave
and Vont are both going to be back on Monday.
Daves out at the iHeartRadio Music Festival this weekend, Invant
went to Jersey for a wedding. So yeah, we've all
got kind of busy week. But we're low on emails
now because we've gotten through it almost all of them.

(14:14):
So if you want to send us an email, we'll
definitely get to a bunch of them on Monday again.
