Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's right. We made the day ride in the morning show. Hello,
good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
I'm honestly, for a second, I was going to try
to attempt to do that thing that Dave started doing
recently because someone pointed it out. When he would like
be like it's right, scream for like sixty seconds. Mom
throws hurt in a little bit.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Oh nobody.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
I think it's the change of the temperature.
Speaker 4 (00:23):
No, it's honestly, tea drop. I got drastic so fast,
right I was. I was texting my friend Katie Cap yesterday.
Shout out Katie Cap. She had gone on like a
date with like one of her hinge dates and it
didn't go out very well. And now she's like, well,
back to square one again. Every time it gets cold,
I just think, well, I guess I'm alone again and
(00:44):
it's dark and it's cold. And I was like, girl,
I feel you because it is like once it gets cold, you're.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Like, well, be nice to have someone to hug. Yeah,
like an e or moment.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
I I not do anything right, but oh well, whatever
I managed.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Can I ask you us a question? I went to Hyvee.
What a day?
Speaker 5 (01:02):
Yeah, they ago, And I went and got a couple
of small things. Literally, I think I was making a
sandwich to lunch meat mayonnaise and lettuce. There's a There's
two people in front of me, and the one woman's
about to put her stuff on the conveyor belt. She
looks at me, and then she looks back at the register,
and then she looks at me, and she has maybe
like seven or eight things in her hand. Wouldn't it
have been nice if she just let me go in
front of her because I only had like two three things,
Because she looked as if like he looks like he's
(01:24):
gonna be here a while.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Were you in a normal lane or a self checkout?
Speaker 5 (01:27):
It was though they don't have self checkout this hyvee,
so it was like a regular lane.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Bougie over there.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
I don't think it's rude of her.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
If she had like an entire cart full that was
like filled to the brim, that would definitely be a
different situation.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
But like seven or eight items, no.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
Maybe maybe a little bit more, but it wasn't a
full car. I'm not gonna be extra city. She was
there before, you, I know, But I mean I feel
like she looked at me because she saw that I
was like in a rush and only had two items.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Because we were rush for her. You needed that sandwich
so bad?
Speaker 5 (01:57):
It No, it was just I mean it was the
short were in the shortest line. Yeah, and I only
had two things, so I had no other option but
to wait in this line. But she looked as if like, uh,
he could go in front of.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Me, but they just didn't.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
That's a former Piggy Wiggly employee in Wisconsin. I saw
people who did this quite often, but not with like
eight items. But normally if someone had a huge cart
full and they saw someone come up behind them with
two things.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
They'd be like, go, I can go in front of me.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Here almost every time, but I think it's got to
be to the point where like it's gonna take a
few minutes to get through their items for them to
be like, you can go ahead of me.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
I just feel like because the person she was in
front of me, the person that was actively at the register,
they were taking forever and we were all looking around,
So I feel like she felt my pain and could
look at me and see, oh, he only had two items,
He's gonna be even more pain sucker.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, So my thought process might have I'm not.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Going to say it would have been, because I'll be real,
I don't know if I would have let the person
behind me go necessarily, but I would have thought about
it would have crossed my mind.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
See, so the self chocolt lane usually they do have
like a limit on items, and I did go to
cup with my so I have a couple friends visiting
this weekend, and one of them got into town yesterday
and so we went to self check out. We did
have quite a few items, probably like fifteen ish, and
so I did I don't think I even remotely paid
attention though if someone was behind me who had like
(03:13):
an item, because there was a register open, so I
just went to it right away.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
I think some people just like don't notice those things though.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
Yeah, that's why I can't say that I would or wouldn't,
because I'm just so locked in on like I got
to get out of here when I go to the
grocery store. But she looked We've made eye contact, me
and her, so I feel like she could have sympathized
just a little bit.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Like I'm not mad about it, but I'm just I
wonder if could cross her mind. I mean, it would
have been nice but I'm not shocked.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
She didn't, only because she didn't have that many items.
If she would have had a huge cart fold, then
I would have been more like, yeah, they maybe could
have let you go first. But man, can I tell
you guys that I feel like I am I'm a
great host. Yeah, and in the sense that like I
will plan a lot of things.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
And so I've got two friends visiting this weekend.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
But my friend got in yesterday and I realized I
had like no food in my house.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Oh, and I'm like, well, I'm gonna make.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Us dinner and we can just run with grocery store
because weren't doing We weren't planning on doing anything yesterday anyway,
really besides hanging out and catching up. And then I'm like, man,
I'm a bad host. I have like literally no food
the fridge. There's one fly there, there is flies. There
is like a pair and a bowl, and like a
few leftover carrots. There's nothing in my fridge right now.
But like when your family comes to visit, you stock
(04:21):
up on food for them to be there, even though
I know they don't stay with you. They usually rent
to like an airbnb or something. But I was like
man I should. So I ended up baking cookies at
like a PM last night because I felt guilty.
Speaker 5 (04:32):
The maybe handful of times maybe handful that my family
has come, I think we got groceries with them because
my mom says they're always at an airbnb or a
hotel or something.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
They need groceries too, So that if.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
We're coming back, more than likely coming back to my house,
we have a plan of like, Okay, Grandma's gonna make
cheat out on is or burghers and stuff. So my
house isn't empty with a pair sitting in a bowl,
but there is stuff.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Mine's pretty pathetic. But that was because I was like
going out.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Of town last weekend for a while and I didn't
want to buy a bunch of gro and I just
genuinely didn't have time this week really to go to
a grocery store. So that house clean, oh spouseless.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Okay, I know you're still in the middle of like renovations,
so I don't.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Know, Oh, I mean yeah, I mean there's still like
counters or.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I shouldn't encounters. There's cabinets that.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Were ripped out of my wall, so my walls are
like super messy. They're not messy, but they're like not
pretty right now in my kitchen, But you know what,
everything else looks cute. And all I care about is
the sun room because that's where I spend ninety nine
percent of my time, and that's where my girlfriend and
I spent the entire day yesterday. So I was like,
it's cute in here, it's viby. I had a fall
candle going, Oh it was great. So all right, coming
(05:37):
up to in just a few minutes, we're gonna get
into War of the Roses. Miranda has a boyfriend and
they do have a child together, but her boyfriend did
something super sketchy that she's like, wait a second, do I.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Keep going with this guy?
Speaker 2 (05:51):
He is the father of my child, but I don't
know if I should keep going.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
We'll find out next what's he's up to.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
All right, So we all know that Lego sets can
be actually quite expensive, like the fancy ones that you
put together and yeah, super expensive. Well there's a new
Star Wars Lego set that is going for one thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
And I don't really know.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
This, maybe Bailly, I feel like you've talked about this before,
but like, I do you know what a good price
is for a kind of bougie Lego set.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I mean, like I'm thinking of like the Millennium Falcon,
which is a Star Wars thing that's a huge Lego set.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Yeah, they said it's it's their most expensive set ever
for Star Wars, but it's not.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
It's no, it's not a Millennium Falcon.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Well, because the Millennium Falcon because I used to get
my old boyfriend Legos all the time, and that thing
is like six to eight hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Yeah, they're prices, very very expensive.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
I haven't bought one, but I used to date somebody
that was like obsessed with Legos.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Yeah, thank god I got out of that relationship.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
I say, I actually think that that's kind of cool.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
I mean, I think it's like a fun hobby.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
I would love it if they were doing it constantly
and that's like all they did.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Sorry, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
So it says it's the Death Star and it's part
of the Ultimate Collector series. It has nine twenty three
pieces and comes with thirty eight characters, including three versions
of Luke Skywalker and two versions of Han Solo. It's
a cross section of the Death Star, so it's disc shape. Oh,
cool rather than a sphere, and there are different rooms
like the trash Compactor and Peror Palpatines, Yeah thrown, Princess
(07:31):
Leah's Holding cell, and the Imperial Shuttle Hangar.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Ten.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
It's twenty It's twenty eight inches tall, thirty two inches wide,
and eleven inches deep. It comes out on October fourth,
but apparently you can sign up for early access at
Lego dot com if you are super interested and you
have lots of money to drop a thousand dollars on
a Lego sets.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Oh, it is so cool.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
I'm looking at it right now, and the fact that
you can like separate it into rooms is really really cool.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
They just built the another Lego store in It's Richdale, right.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Yeah, Richdale, which is where I used to work at
the Disney Store. And it's funny because the Lego store
is literally right next to where the Disney store was,
and a lot of the Disney cast members that's what
we called ourselves, the Disney employees ended up moving to
the Lego store at the Mall of America.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
So now it's like will circle you guys.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
Wow, they keep trying to get me and I'm like, no,
you know who works at the Lego Store boys, a
bunch of boys.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
I'm not working with boys.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Well did you not work with boys at the Disney Store?
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Not really?
Speaker 4 (08:32):
You had like maybe like one gay guy? Yeah, mostly girls? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah, Oh that's cool Lego sep love it all right.
Well that's it for you can't make this stuff up.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
We are going to dive right into Dave's start, and
I think we'll maybe get some clips later. But man,
somebody got new music out today.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
I'm trying to go ahead. Okay, we'll get into Dave's dire.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
From Hollywood's biggest celebrities to the latest gossip at Channel four.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
It's Dave dirt on.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Katie Vaughn had first reported about this like live during
the show yesterday, but all of a sudden, Bieber had
these billboards going.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
Up everywhere, the same way he did with his album
Swag that dropped about a month ago. He did it
again yesterday said Swag two drops at midnight, and he
put out it took a while. I'll be honest, I
think the album literally came out maybe four hours ago,
because he posted that he was having problems uploading it
on Oh yeah, and so it is up. I'm looking
to see what songs people are rocking with the best, So.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
I don't know that answer yet.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
I did put it on this morning as I was
getting ready, and I haven't heard yet. The first one
off of it is called speed Demon, and I I
was vibing with it, but I'll be honest, I couldn't
play it very loud because I have a friend who's
staying with me this weekend and I didn't want to
wake her up. Yeah, it's getting ready, so I don't
think I know yet, but I did like speed Demon
so far. That was the first one. I only got
through like five of the songs, so we'll see what
(09:47):
everyone's saying.
Speaker 5 (09:48):
Yeah, if you've heard it, text five three nine two
one and we'll have clips forout the rest of the show.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
I just I don't know what songs are worth playing it.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
Yeah, there's like quite a few songs on it.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
Some people are saying that this version Swag Too is
better than the OG. So when I out about a
month ago, I hope so, because I thought that one
was a little boors streaming platforms, they've combined them all
so now it's it's a forty four song album.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Forty four I'm counting, right, now, and I'm pretty sure
this one has like twenty five.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah, the new Messes came out. He could have done
Swag one, Swag two, Swag three. Come on, Jesse, take
a page out of the Taylor Swig book. I'm going
to be a.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
Little judgy here. Like he him and Haley just had
a kid in the last year. What did you just
go like off to the by the studio for like
your entirety of your kid's first year of life.
Speaker 5 (10:34):
Well, that's what people are assuming that, or I think
he actually said it. He kind of chalked up this
whole past year of not being a great dad or
husband to the fact that he was making this album,
which is not an excuse, but I think it's what's
out there.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Wow. Okay, all right, let.
Speaker 5 (10:47):
Us know when you hear the album if it was
worth it being a deadbeat dad and as a poor husband.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
All right. Well, if you're looking to sit at home
this weekend because it feels like fall and it's cold
and it's going to be gloomy today, the rest of
the weekends can be kind of sunny. Good news for
you is that starting at Sunday, this afternoon or this Sunday, afternoon.
All five movies of the Twilight Saga will be streamable
on YouTube and loop.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Baileya talked about this like last week.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Yes, I thought that they were going to release them
in theaters too, and maybe that's still the case. I
would love to go back and see it in theaters
because that was my whole personality in college. Me and
my friend Rachel, we were like, let's go to all
of the midnight showings and we had two like guy
friends that we would drag along with us. We'd get
taco bell and sit and watch Twilight. And it was
(11:35):
always it was like one right after the other, right
after the other, like year after year. So we would
always go to the midnight showing of the Twilight movies. So,
I mean, they're terrible, They're all awful movies, but they're.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Like, I don't know, nostalgic in a way. They are.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
I'm here for it because I mean, did you read
the books? I can't remember. Yes I did, Yes, so
did I. So I loved it. And then also you
probably already know this, but the second part of season
two of Wednesday came out on Wednesday, and so you
could watch that this weekend too. I have only got
through like one of the not even like ten minutes
of one of the episodes, so I'm excited to watch that.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
Also news on Netflix, vont and I have watched this
is called Unknown Number, like the High School Catfish Story.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Or something like that.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
So now it is the second most popular Netflix show
behind a K Pop Demon Hunters, which Jenny should still
watch that I know. And it's makes sense because it's
a super shocking like twist at the end.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
You're like, WHOA, I didn't expect that.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
So people are wondering why because the culprit, the person
who did it, is interviewed in the movie.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
You shouldn't have said that.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Well whatever, I'm so sorry, but spoilers.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Yeah, so people are wondering, like, why did you want
to be involved in this documentary?
Speaker 3 (12:48):
And like, no spoilers.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
The principal interviews had been completed when that person was
released from jail, and they had more than a year
behind bars for what they were accused of.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
I don't really want to get into it because I
don't want to spoil it.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
It don't but they said it was important to them
to sit down and tell their story so that they
could see so that the audience could see their own perspective.
I mean I watched it, and their own perspective is
the wrong one. So it's kind of just strange to me.
But it was a very good documentary. I wish I
had more answers because it definitely left me with more
(13:23):
questions than answers, but very good.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
I recommend watching Unknown Number on Netflix. This has been
a little bit of local news. They shut down a
Roho for good.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Well they're changing, I know, but I.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
Didn't know that they didn't have Like they're changing it
to Chee Cheese, which is gonna pretty much be the
same thing, same owners, same type of food.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
I just didn't know they were doing it so soon.
I mean we've been talking about it for like six months,
I feel like, but you just never know until you
see it.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
But the Roho, it's this one here in the west
end of Saint Louis Park and then they're the one
in the Maple Grove. I think it's like Arbor Lake's
Center or whatever. They're rebranding already, like they're shut down
and they're transitioning.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
I just want to know if they're still going to
take row Hoe gift cards because BoNT got me one
for Christmas, and I still have ho have you not
used that? I feel like, well we have, but I
think the the one time that we went, I forgot
it and then we haven't been since that one time.
And BoNT used to like hanging out with me, and
he doesn't anymore because.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
I know where.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
See you got like a few months and and you
were like.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Well, it's a bit of a turn off. It's like
never mind done. Yeah, I've learned. I'd rather spend time
alone at my apartment.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Well, we do have some other new music out besides
justin Bieber, so we'll play this one from the kid Lory.
It's called a cold play.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Okay, I like that, but that almost sounded like Bieber.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
No, you know what that sounds like. Oh we don't
have it in the system. I'm no good at good
bus post alone.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Massage the melody and stuff. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
We do have also music from Calvin Harris and Jesse
As Ocean is the title of this one.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Oh the trap is coming in there.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
I could feel it. I could feel it. I like
that kind of music, so I'm vibing with it. It sounds
very much like a Calvin Harrison.
Speaker 5 (15:15):
And Jesse Ray is is like she's a great voice
up and comer, like be put on the Jesse Ray
is the same way Dave claims he put on Shaboozy.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
I'm gonna tell everybody right now, Jesse Ray.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Is okay, but actual subject for me when he says that, okay,
actually all right, Well that's gonna do it for Dave's
ar It's brought to you by six one two Injured
Heimer and Lammer's Injury Law coming up. Even though Dave's
not here, we still like to do something called Dave's
Bizarro corner. Now, this story that this person is gonna
come on and tell us is so funny. I'm gonna
(15:46):
call it the Mystery of the bathroom Underwear. So if
that intrigues you enough, I'm telling you stick around to
find out what the mystery is all about.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Next
