into a little think fast. Okay, yeah, Jenny versus Vaughan.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I've got Thanksgiving words and I've got basic holiday words.
These are any words. I'm not even going to give
you a letter. I'm just going to ask you for
a word. Okay, I'm good, all right? For Thanksgiving category,
name a main dish that isn't turkey. Ooh, I'm gonna
give that to vaunt with ham because that is a
main dish.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Stuffing I would say is a side literally love ever
had ham at Thanksgiving? You have it, but it is
something you have or I would have accepted as well.
All right.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Name a pie that isn't pumpkin apple? Ooh want with apple?
You guys both said it, but was faster.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Sorry? You Name a starchy side dish potatoes? Yes, indeed?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
First, Okay, that's what I was guaranteeing that someone would
forget that.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Name a side dish that's green, green bean? Who you
give your headphones on? You are preparing for Thanksgiving meal
right now, so I know this is top of mine
for you because you and unless are doing your little
meal tonight. Are you sure your headphones are working? And
you celebrated with your family this weekend? So oh shit,
just making sure that you're listening.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Name a specific kind of salad potato that wasn't very fast?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
And also, that's a dumb question. I guess, not question answer.
How was that answer? I did? I didn't think, but yes, potato.
I was thinking a salad. I know it's called potato salad,
but it's not really Yeah, I was.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
I was looking for something more fun and fancy free
with that. It's fine, you guys, don't worry. I didn't
want you to like sweep this entire game here. Okay,
So vot has four right now, vont has four.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Jenny, you have zero, all right?

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Name a festive drink.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
I have.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Cranberry juice. Okay, tell me what coquito is.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
It's a rum mixed with coconut and it's like.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
A it's like an eggnog. Right, I'll give it to
you for when you go to Jamaica. That's what that's
on me. Okay. Last Thanksgiving word?

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Name a side dish that uses cheese that isn't mac
and cheese.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
I mean, okay, what do you have for an answer?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I mean you could have included like mashed potatoes because
some of them has cheese in it if you want,
or there's other things that have cheese, you know, like
some salads have cheese. It's fine. I wanted to see
what you guys came up with. Apparently nothing. Okay, So
these are any words that have to do with the holidays.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Still no letter? Yeah, I was like, not a lot
this time? Okay. A holiday type of transportation car the
Polar Express. I don't know was that the answer? Okay? Yeah,
like a sleigh or like the Polar Express. I thinking
like traveling for the holidays, like you get into a holiday.
Oh yeah, I don't know, you are Maybe you know what, Jenny,

(04:17):
I'll give you one. I'll give you part fast. I'll
give you fast on that one. I said car pretty quick.
She said it real fast. Okay, Okay. On a sexism
going on.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Holiday, a holiday rich person pastime ski sure not rich.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
I don't know it is.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Yeah, I'll give it to you, Jenny, even though those slow,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I'm just I want you to come back to the
rules that you go.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
It's the holidays, all right, this is a holiday poor
person pastime, caroling. What did you say? Study sledding? And
you said Caroline as you guys were like right on
top of each other. I don't think either of those
are poor people activities. I feel like they are, yeah,
pretty much free get a box and slide down in
a box.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Caroly, you're just trying to get Jenny ahead because.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Answer you want to cry about it because I was
about to give you Carolyn, because I thought you were faster.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Okay, it's also that even cheaper than sledding.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
I would that point or not do. Whatever you're gonna
do has a point. I'm sorry, Jenny, but he was
a little bit faster. Okay. Whatever. Vont has six, Jenny
has two. You see how I'm being a good sport
over here. Yeah, you know, you just accept that you're
gonna lose. No, I think I'm being a good sport
all right.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
The sweet holiday treat Wow, okay, Jenny got cookies with
that one.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
I feel like I got that one. Yeah you did, okay.
Something to do to warm up?

Speaker 4 (05:37):
That's the face slip by the fire, okay, Jenny sop
by the fire. You guys are okay? Jenny has four,
vont has six. Get game point for vaunt here all right?
A winter sport that was definitely Yeah, I got the
slow right out.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Before winter though. I mean I said it too, but
I mean it's sport there, There is a sport in it.
Can you compete with letting?

Speaker 6 (06:03):
Though?

Speaker 4 (06:04):
I mean toboggan next guest, how no one said tobogganing?

Speaker 2 (06:11):
That's okay, Vine could take the Yeah, do you want
to give one or two? I'll give you one more? Okay.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Something to do during the holiday seasons at night time, Jenny,
See Christmas lights, Yeah, that's what I have. See Christmas
lights or caroling? You know, I honestly, somebody reach out
to me. I want to be a caroller and no
one ever gives me the opportunity. So I want to
walk over to people's doors and wear a little outfit

(06:36):
from like eighteen seventy five, stopping you by myself.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
I'm not going alone. I want to look like a
little mupp at Christmas, Carol Lady, anything through the door.
If Bailey just show me. But all of a sudden
she starts singing, they'd be like, what one more sleep
till Christmas? Okay, thank you Bailey for thank you guys.
That's the day. VOD congrats you squashed me. My brain
is not working clearly. She's on holiday break already.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Okay, Howey birthday shout out to Chloe. She's eleven years old.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Today, Tappy birthday, birthday girl. All right here coming up
next we have this is the final chance to get
in the keyword for winning winning the Billie Eili's Trip
out to l A. We have a few chances this morning,
but these are your last chances. If you haven't played yet,
get your phone out, have the iHeartRadio app downloaded. It's free,
and we'll give you that keyword. Next, it's time for

(07:30):
the pod Lot's Hear Advance.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
I love that you let that play out. You don't
want to be the typical DJ that just and talks
over the end of a song.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
It does have a long outro though, I was like,
all right, I gotta play it.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Bench I was waiting for you. I was like, you's
gonna let this roll out for starts to pot today.
I want to roll back to something Bailey said about
an hour or so ago. We played that new Edge
Sheer and Christmas song yep, and it was kind of sad.
Can you play it for me real quick?

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Well?

Speaker 3 (07:53):
It was like very sad and slow, which is not
usually what we expect from Edge.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Here and here's a little clip.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Is much?

Speaker 2 (08:01):
And Bailey, what did you say? I said that if
you're writing songs or all you're doing is like I
wish I had you back then? Boo, who shut up?
That's what I said. It's a crazy statement.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
You know, many great songs there are about people saying
oh I miss you.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Well, I'm not.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Saying that there aren't great songs, but it's just kind
of like, Okay, if she left you, she left you
for a reason, bro, maybe because because you're a big
fat boohoo.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Okay. I feel like if the roles were reversed, if
this was a woman saying this. You wouldn't say the
same thing. No, I would. I would.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
I want one hundred percent say the same thing, because
sometimes it's like, Okay, they're just not that into you. Yeah, okay,
maybe you put in ten ten years of your time. Okay,
that's fine. Well I hope not either. Maybe put in
ten years of your time they left you. Are you
gonna boohoo about it and wish you had them back?

Speaker 2 (08:43):
No?

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Yeah, put on you put on some new shoes, go
buy yourself new shoes. You walk outside and the sunshine.
You walk, and you go to the bakery. You get
yourself a cinnamon roll. You down that cinnamon roll, and
you play I'm Walking on Sunshine.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
It's not that easy for some people. Some people just go.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Some people go through a hard time dealing with breakups,
and their their medicine the therapy is music. Shall we
go through a list of some of the greatest breakup songs?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Okay, let's start off with this classic.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
That's not a that doesn't count. That's not a boo who,
I'm So sad I want you back song?

Speaker 7 (09:16):
This one.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
I would say, again, I don't think this is like
a boo who I Want You Back.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
It was literally called it's literally called when I was
your man.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Yeah no, he's he's he's looking back on it and
he's like, you know what, maybe I should have been better.
So it's actually a self reflection, growth, personal growth song,
not a boo who I Wish I had you back?

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Okay, here's another one I should know.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
Still over all this time, I'm still into you and
we've been together for so long.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
This isn't even a breakup song.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
All right, I'm gonna I still have more, but texting
songs that to prove my point. If you're just tuning in,
Bailey said that if you're making a song that goes boo,
who you know, I miss you, I Want you back,
go sit down somewhere.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
And so you're on the side of like it's okay,
Like you're starting to stay saying like it's okay to
have these songs and like feel in your feels and stuff.
But Bailey is saying you need to get over it.
I'm just like, yeah, I don't sit in like wallow right.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
I just it took enough time to sit down and
write an entire song over being boohoo.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
I'm sad that I'm so alone now. I have never
felt more connected to music though, than when I've gone
through a breakup. That's what I'm saying. I'm telling you,
like words, hit, lyrics hit different when you are heartbroken
and you hear a song that describes exactly how you feel.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
See, I just turned my day around. I'm gonna listen
to something happy. That's what I would do, And I
love that for you.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
But I mean, I have gone through some awful heartbreak before,
so I just feel like there are days where you
don't even want to get out of bed because you're
so heartbroken, and so that music like really it's like,
oh my gosh, someone else has experienced this. I can
hear it in the lyrics.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
You know.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Well, I'm good for you guys. Soho, Biley, you're so bitter, bitter.
Clearly I'm not better.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
I think you're better if you're sitting in bed going
boo hoo.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I'm so sad. No, I'm just better. You're broken up
with Script. What's he supposed to do? Bailey? And what
is he supposed to do?

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Put on a new parent jeans, get outside, get yourself
a cinnamon roll, buddy, a cinnamon roll. Yeah, day around,
turns your day around, turns your day around. The Jackson
five literally has a song called I Want You Back.
We're getting so many text messages about.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
I'm sling this one that came in? How about this buddy? Sorry,
Tony Braxton, I love you. Oh that's a good one.
Kind of forgot about that one. Let's see what else
do we have? Hurricane by Luca Combs. Oh, that's a
great song. Unfortunately I don't have that one like pulled
up at this moment.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
Let's see, I just played Driver's License. Somebody said we
Belong Together by Mariah Carey.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
I feel a little bit scorn that.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
Bummer.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Oh, this share Lloyd one two is really good. It's
called want You Back?

Speaker 4 (12:13):
About that one, I'd like to read a text message saying, Bailey,
I worry that you rush through sad feelings and they're
still going to be there. It's okay to be sad
and sit in it. I do love your positivity and
cinnamon roll cure for everything.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Yes, I do agree it's okay to be sad. First
of all, I don't like that made Monsters the Pot
into Baileysters the Pot. I don't appreciate that it really
threw me under the bus here, like you really put
it on you deserve the pot today, because I was like,
I don't really feel like sponsor in the pot, right,
and so I don't really feel it.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
That's fair, But I don't necessarily rush through sad feelings.
I would say if I'm in a relationship because someone
else said Bailey's never been in a relationship over text, no,
if that's false, I've been in quite a few, thank you.
But I don't rush through it. I just don't want
to waste my time being sad and like, oh I
can't eat because I'm so sad because Sean left me.

(12:59):
I just I just you have to do.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
I feel like you haven't found the right person then,
because truthfully, I also have gone through plenty of like
short term breakups where I was like whatever, I'm over
it in a day. But when you really find someone
you love and they break your heart, you don't just
get over that. You imagine your entire life with them.
And I feel like you you did everything. You were there,
you were each other's best friends, and then suddenly one

(13:23):
day you aren't even like speaking to each other, Like
who do you call with your day? So I feel
like in those moments, I think there's different kinds of heartbreak.
There is heartbreak that you can be like, Okay, it
was a relationship. It kind of sucks we broke up,
but let's move on. But then there's heartbreak where like
you couldn't have imagined your life without.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
Them, and then they're taking you off guard if they're
breaking up with you and you don't even expect. It's
exactly I was gonna say, you guys are really coming
at me, and I am just having an opinion, okay,
like if you guys are allowed to have one.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
I'm not saying that you're wrong in your opinion. I
just feel like you maybe haven't experienced the heartbreak that
other people have experienced.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
I mean, I also think that makes me look like Bailey,
you haven't had these same experiences as all of us,
and we're more worldly than you.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
No.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
I just think I deal with it differently. I would
say I've only been heartbroken one time, and prior to
that heartbreak, I would have laughed at everyone too who
was I did laugh. My sister would be crying for
like weeks after heartbreak, and I'd always be like, why
are you not just getting over it. And then once
I experienced it for myself, I was like, WHOA, Like
this is a little.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
Bright different, No I get I feel like be sad.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
I think you guys could be sad.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
I think people who are coming at me over text
right now saying I'm so insensitive and telling depressed people
to cheer up. That's not the case I'm saying. I
don't like these songs that are like, oh I wish
I had you back. I just don't like those songs.
But like Bruno Mars when I was your Man, that's
a self reflection song that's like a you know what
I could have been better and then moving on and
being better moving forward.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
I just don't like the well this Christmas, all I
want is you back.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Like although when it comes to Usher, I don't know
if that's what burned, but some combo for another day.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Don't be bringing Usher into it like that. Listen, we
all experienced feelings differently. Bailey's not wrong in her beliefs,
and like everything that she's saying, we're not wrong in ours.
Everyone just experiences things differently. You never see, Yeah, I
love the Notebook and that's what I watched. If I'm
feeling sad.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
I watched Not Live Without Her, and when she finally
came back to that house with the White Shutters, they
literally had spoiler alert, twenty years later they died together.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
They all died in the end. Spoiler couldn't live without her?
Dang really spel All right, well, Vaughan, thanks for making Bailey,
sir the pot today that Bailey was not expecting that.
I can't really see what thanked me today. Honestly, I
feel real attacked.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
I can always be a villain, Okay, it's hard to
not all heroes wear caves.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Okay, let me live, guys, let me screw the haters
settled out.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Yeah, let me live.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
All right, Let's get into Dave's dirt crack the Dave
Ryan Show one on one point three cage.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
So I saw this all over like Instagram and social media. Yesterday,
people kept were saying that Ariana Grande made way more
money than since the Cynthia arrivo on Wicked, and so
they're I mean, they're publicists whoever. They spoke out and
were like, no, it was equal pay. The reports of
pay disparity between the two are completely false and based

(16:23):
on internet fodder. The women received equal pay for their
work on Wicked, which makes sense. And also, I mean
Cynthia was more of the main character than Ariana anyway,
so if anyone was going to be making more money,
But I feel like people were saying Ariana made more
money because she was more like she was a bigger
celebrity in most people's eyes, But they said that that's
not correct.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
So why do people on the internet feel so inclined
to have convos about other people's money? Like I just
think it's so funny the speculating, oh, this person makes
this month annually and so what some people work harder
or deserve more than others.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Easier for you to say because you are in the
you're a male, and it has been different for women
most of the women conversation. I was just thinking because
sing that, like you're saying, in general, the conversation about
people talking about money on the internet, it is a
little bit different for women because there is still like
women make less to the dollar than a may.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
You're right, and I don't disagree with that, but like
Cynthia Rivo, I would argue, I would agree with you. Yes,
Cynthia Rivo not only has a Tony already to her name,
not saying I don't know if Ariana Graude doesn't, but
like Cynthia Arriva was more of the main character in
the movie, right, No, for sure, I don't.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
It's it's speculation that people just like to get into
I feel like people like to take two people who
actually get along and put together an amazing movie and
try to put pit them against each other. Yeah, internet does.
It's just it's whatever. It's people who have too much
time on their hands, is what it is in my opinion. Okay,
let's see what else we got going on today for
Dave Sara brought to you by Nikolay law Nicki Minaj.

(17:53):
She has an album and tour announcement coming, she said, apparently,
she posted on social media. Yeah, our next official album
is coming out. Of course, you'll be notified of a
tour in twenty twenty five with the album, but not
necessarily the tour will start in twenty twenty five, so
she might be holding off till the next year. Someone else.
Adele she relives Vegas box set style. So Adele's the

(18:17):
Las Vegas residency is done, but fans can soon relive
it at home. So Her three hundred and fifty dollars
box set called Weekends with Adele arrives February seventh. It's
a three record set that comes with a fifty six
page photo book inside a fold out box that mirrors
the Weekends with Adell stage and the box includes confetti

(18:39):
directly from the show. So the twenty one songs on
the set were recording were recorded during the one hundred
show run, and it includes bancer in between songs, so
it's not just songs on the records, but three hundred
and fifty dollars. That's kind of a lot, Like isn't
there going to be a documentary you can probably watch
on Netflix for free? Probably? Yeah, It's like I feel

(18:59):
like that's a very reduced price, right. Do you remember
when Adele did that.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
I don't know if it was Netflix or whatever, but
somebody proposed and Adele was behind them. This was maybe
like in the last handful of years. It was like
Adele Special and somebody proposed at the Adele Show, but
it was in like pitch black, so they didn't know.
And then Adele was like hey, and she was like,
oh my god, it was so beautiful.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Right, I you know, I feel like I see proposals
like that quite often. So it was at her concert,
is what you're saying, Bond?

Speaker 3 (19:27):
Yeah, it was like an Adele special I think in
England or something.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
It was so beautiful. Can you imagine getting if you
went to your favorite musicians concert? Would either of you
ever want that? Like you go see your favorite musician
or like maybe a Broadway player are you Bailey, I
don't know, or a musician? Would you ever want to
be proposed in the audience in front of a ton
of people? Get me up on? Okay, this is my dream?

(19:51):
Can I explain my dream?

Speaker 4 (19:52):
I stole this from my friend Sarah, But I want
to be in in a musical or a play with
somebody who is going to propose to me. We're both
in the play. Maybe we play lovers in the play.
And then during curtain call, we're all bowing. It's the
closing night. We're all bowing. People are like standing outvation. Wow,
they love it so much. And then the guy that's
gonna propose to me comes. Somebody's like, hold on, before

(20:13):
everyone leaves, I really just want Can I just take
a moment and then proposes me on stage during curtain call?

Speaker 2 (20:18):
In front of an entire audience. Yeah, you sign me up,
so you have all of that. Yeah, that's all play out. Yeah,
that's all gonna that's a blue print. She's gonna roll
out and show Trip next time they get together.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
Yeah, he's got to be in a play in the
same play as me, for sure.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
I don't think Trip's gonna propose to me. It doesn't matter.
I never know. They've only been dating for a little bit,
they're not even that So there's that as well. You're
going to see him for Thanksgiving, though I don't know.
Maybe she might be hanging out with them, but you know,
so maybe speaking of if you're making things giving tomorrow
and you're like, all right, I got so much to cook,

(20:54):
why don't you swing by Holiday Stations for Us today
and just get their five dollars meal deals so you
don't have to worry about cooking today and just save
all that for tomorrow. You get a personal sized pizza
with a twenty ounce Pepsi pop for just five bucks,
So save yourself some time today, go get that deal,
and then go to work in that kitchen tomorrow. Yeah, baby,
that's what I'm saying. That as in the kitchen. That'll

(21:16):
do it for Dave's dirt for right now. Coming up next,
we're gonna do no phone screener Wednesday. We haven't done
it in a couple of weeks since we had go
group Friday and boy band Friday the last couple Fridays,
so we thought, why not throw this in here. Today
Today's our Friday basically, so you can start calling in
right now for no phone screener Wednesday. It's six, five one,
nine eight nine, katiewb. We do not screen these phone calls,

(21:36):
so you can call in and talk about whatever you like.
That's next. All right, it's time to do a little
no phone screen or Wednesday. So if you want to
call in right now, we are not screening these phone calls.
We just asked that you don't call in to plug
your business or do a birthday shout out. If you
have anything like birthday shout outs, engagement shoutouts, or anything
like that, you can text those into five three, nine

(21:59):
to one on All right, you guys, ready, let's get started.
Good morning. You're on no phone screen or Wednesday. What's
your name? This girlfriend, Anita? What do you got for
us today?

Speaker 5 (22:16):
I'm wishing you all a happy, safe and fun Thanksgiving.
Oh and I just want to say, because I'm not
going to be doing a ranch this week because Thursday
I'll be turned up.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
That's right, Okay, I love that, Janita. Are you cooking
for the family? Are you going somewhere else and putting
your feet up?

Speaker 5 (22:37):
Oh? We're doing. Everybody's bringing dish.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Everyone brings his dice, Okay, so.

Speaker 5 (22:43):
It's not a burden on one person.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Everybody's bringing something that's smart. I love it. Well, Janita,
you have a great Thanksgiving. Janita is one of our
favorite people. She always contributes to the Minnesota Goodbye with
Lovely Rants and you've never heard it. You need to
start listening because they're the best. So happy Thanksgiving, Mona.
Thanks Okay, let's see Katie w B. You're on no

(23:08):
phone screen or Friday. What's your name, Carolyn? Carolyn? What
do you want to talk about today?

Speaker 4 (23:14):
Well?

Speaker 8 (23:14):
I just want to put on your guys's radar a
cool new sport. Well it's not really new, but a
lot of people don't know about it, Ultimate Frisbee. And
there is Ultimate Frisbee coming up. There's clinics coming up.
You can go to Minnesota Ultimate to look it up.
But it's a cool, non contact, co ed sport for
kids of all ages. And I saw my nephews and

(23:35):
niece play this past spring. Super fun, super challenging for
the kids, but also working on bringing them together. So
I just wanted to put that on your guys's radar.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Cool. Love it when people call in with radar things,
because you know, we always have ones and sometimes we don't,
so sometimes we need help from other people. So all right, awesome,
thanks so much for calling in the wrong buttons here,
Katy w B. Is no phone screener for Friday? What's
your name?

Speaker 5 (24:03):
Hey?

Speaker 8 (24:03):
It's lovely, Lovely, lovely.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
What do you want to say today?

Speaker 9 (24:07):
I want to say happy, a Thanksgiving and a dance.
I hope you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I
love the video. Guys are putting your hair like Avery
on Grunde.

Speaker 6 (24:18):
By the way, lovely, lovely.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Who do you think did the best?

Speaker 8 (24:22):
I think Jenny did.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
She's blonde.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Okay, makes sense longer than.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
I feel like I would have given it to Bailey,
But then I think Fonts was definitely the funniest. And
if you don't know what you're talk what we're talking about.
You can go to our Instagram Dave Ryan Show and
you can see us do the test us us. There
we go. You can see that it's from the Wicked movie.
Katie w B. You're on no phone screen? Or Friday?
What's your name? It's Wednesday, by the way, did it

(24:52):
like three times? I was like, I didn't want to
correct you each time. I think it's Friday in my head, Allie,
you said that's your name? Correct Ellie? What do you
want to talk about?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
I just need to follow up on yesterday's fit where
we call it or I talk that tuesdays?

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Yeah the X yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
My pet and I texted this in. But the fact
that my husband wears the old Navy flip flops.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Like everywhere, I was gonna say, ally, oh, so he
doesn't wear them in the winter, No, okay, but he
wears them everywhere. So are we talking like weddings?

Speaker 10 (25:28):
No, not that far, okay.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
But everywhere else.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
I just don't like them.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
We go to a brewery, get a beer, he's wearing
flip flops. You go to the grocery store, he's wearing
flip flops.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
Pretty much, let me just say old Navy around summertime
has some great deals on flip flops. I think only
like two three to box yes, like five yes, and
they always have every color.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Some design.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
I feel like the part that goes in between your
toes is like super thick.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
So you're like, yeah, I will admit I have like
three pairs. I don't wear them that often and I
don't wear them to everywhere, but they're like my quick
go to I got to run at the store. Ali,
do you want like a solution for this situation or
you're just saying this is an ick and you're probably
never gonna change him. Okay, we got it all right, Ali, Thanks,

(26:12):
thanks for calling in. I have a great Thanksgiving. Thank you,
Katie WV. You're on no phone screener Wednesday. What's your name?

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Hi, my name is Amanda.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
I don't know what do you got for us today.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
I would just like to say that anyone that is
looking to give a pet or an animal over the
holiday season, UH, just connect with the person who want
to give it to make sure it's a gift that
they're willing to take on the responsibility for. And UH,
look at the impound shelters or rescue animals over the

(26:45):
cities right overflowing, especially this time of year, and that
should always be the top priority to get those animals home.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
For me, man, I don't know if you've called them before,
but we had someone on last December who wanted to
get their mom a puppy for Christmas or something.

Speaker 7 (27:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah, And the other sister was like, no, this is
such a bad idea, like and the other one was like, no,
it is. And multiple people like commented who work in
either as vets or work for shelters. They were like,
you should never give an animal as a present. Would
you say that that's accurate? It's not a good I
know you said to reach out to them at first,
but do you feel like, just in general, it might

(27:22):
not be the best idea.

Speaker 7 (27:24):
I would say if if you are one hundred percent
confident that this is something that they have wanted and
are ready and responsible for, then it's acceptable. But if
it's just a gift and you're not sure how they're
going to take it, then absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Oh yeah, I agree with that for sure. Yeah, look
at your shelters, help rescue an animal this holiday season
if you're looking at doing that, because that's very important.
Thanks Amanda, Thank you. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
So the number six five one nine eight nine kW B.
By the way, we're doing no phone screen or Wednesday
because it's a Friday Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Thank you, Von. Good morning. You're on no phone screen
or Wednesday. What's your name, Carrie? Did you say carry? Carry?
What do you want to talk about today? Carry?

Speaker 10 (28:05):
I just learned the most awesome way to make massed potato. Okay,
tell us more super fun and easy. You just literally
roll the entire potato into some boiling water until they're done, okayeing,
no dicing, and then you take it out and cut
it in half lengthwise and put it over a baking sheet,

(28:28):
and then you squish the potato into your bowl and
then the skinner's left, and then you just set the
skin aside and make the mashed potatoes as you normally would.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Wow. So you're saying that once you boil them and
you cut them lengthwise, that the skin's just gonna fall
off once you like smash them down.

Speaker 9 (28:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Wow, amazing convenient. I hate peeling potatoes. I hate sweet
potatoes all the time. I hate doing that. Oh my gosh,
this is fantastic information.

Speaker 10 (28:58):
My new thing I wear.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Carrie, you're saving a lot of people time tomorrow at Thanksgiving,
so we very much appreciate you calling today. Thank you
have a great day.

Speaker 3 (29:07):
You know, one of the most adult things I've ever
done was go buy a potato peeler, a really good one.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
You don't have one. You are at that age. Wow,
you are at that age where you get excited about
like nice like that, like I got a blader today.
You guys, Katie WV it's no phone screener on Wednesday.
What's your name?

Speaker 10 (29:27):
Hey, guys, It's Carmen Hike Carman.

Speaker 8 (29:30):
How are you great?

Speaker 5 (29:32):
So?

Speaker 6 (29:33):
I know some of you have heard my story because
I wrote in I think it was last week, but
BoNT never did and the rest of the world has.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
M h, what's your story? What do you want to say?

Speaker 10 (29:43):
So?

Speaker 6 (29:44):
What have I've been back?

Speaker 8 (29:45):
What a week now?

Speaker 6 (29:46):
From Texas? I went to the Jelly Roll concert. I
wanted to talk about a great Thanksgiving story, a great blessing.
I was next to a couple that was so bring
in two hundred and sixty five days of sobriety. Jelly
Roll saw the sign that they're holding up and he

(30:07):
held it up to the crowd. They cheered. He's saying
winning streak and dedicated to this man.

Speaker 7 (30:12):
His name was.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
Also Jason Oh. And it was just an amazing story.
And you never know what strangers are going through. Yeah,
always just be kind and generous to these people, to
anybody actually around you. And it was just one of
those incredible, amazing moments. And it was great to celebrate

(30:33):
his sobriety with him. And I just wondered to share
my wonderful story to start your Thanksgiving weekend, right, Carmen.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
That's amazing If you haven't, because Carmen will email us
on the Minnesota Cvisis sometimes we'll read Carmen's emails on there,
but not necessarily on the show. But thank you for
calling in and saying that. I think that is a
great thing to talk about today for the day before Thanksgiving,
you know, yeah, you can get us all teared up
over here. Well, every Thanks Givvy, and I hope you
have a wonderful rest of your day, you guys. Thank you.

(31:05):
Katie w B. You're on Katy w B. Talk to
him no phone screener Wednesday. What's your name?

Speaker 10 (31:13):
My name is Gavin N.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
What's going on? Bailey? It's kind a nice voice on
my way to work.

Speaker 9 (31:19):
I just wanted to call and give a shout out
to my friend Scaddie.

Speaker 8 (31:23):
It is his thirty fifth birthday today.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
Scatty.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
His name is Scatty.

Speaker 7 (31:28):
His birth name, oh Jake, Okay, we call him Scatty Scott?

Speaker 2 (31:33):
Did he get that nickname? If I told you, guys,
I would have to kill you. Oh No. I felt
like that was going to be the answer we were
going to get. That's why I had to ask, because
nobody goes from Jake to scat Scaddy. I'm going to
jump to a conclusion right without all good story, call
me back, I'll tell I wants to call me back,
I'll tell him, okay, but then you'll kill me. I

(31:55):
have Bailey call you back. Okay, Yeah, okay. We'll shout
out to Scatty and shout out to you for calling
in for everybody. All right, have a great day. All right,
we're gonna wrap up no phone screen or Wednesday in
just a second. Here, we'll do a couple more calls. Hell, no,
you are on no phone screen or Wednesday. What's your name?

Speaker 8 (32:13):
Danielle?

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Hi, Danielle, what do you want to talk about?

Speaker 6 (32:16):
I am just calling with a PSA about salt use.

Speaker 5 (32:20):
In the winter.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Okay, for everyone to reduce.

Speaker 7 (32:22):
Their salt use, because one teaspood of salt permanently pollutes
five gallons of water.

Speaker 6 (32:27):
It's bad for the environment and bad for your pets.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Are you talking about salting like on the sidewalks because
of snow or what are you talking about specifically?

Speaker 10 (32:34):
Yes, a salt use on your sidewalk and your.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Drive with Yeah. Okay, so reduce your salt use. But
are you saying we can still do the salts because
we don't want to slip and fall, just like, don't
go crazy with it.

Speaker 6 (32:46):
Yeah, I mean buy a shovel that has a metal blade,
or buy one of those ice picks and try to do.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
That first ice pan.

Speaker 8 (32:52):
It's too cold.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Salt doesn't work anyways.

Speaker 10 (32:54):
Okay, Yeah, conscientious about your.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
Salting in the environment, that's true. Yeah, psa. And it'll
save you money too, because salts, right, you got to
go out and buy that stuff, so yeah, you know
you could get instead of a nice pick. That sounds
fun actually. Okay, thanks for calling in, Katie w B.
You're gonna be the last call today on no phone
screen or Wednesday. What's your name, It's Michelle.

Speaker 6 (33:16):
Oh heyche Michelle, Happy Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Happy Thanksgiving? Michelle, what are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Speaker 6 (33:24):
I am cooking the turkey and I've learned to let
everybody else pitch in.

Speaker 8 (33:29):
This is my favorite holiday.

Speaker 6 (33:30):
I took it over after my grandma passed away.

Speaker 8 (33:33):
Over two years ago.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
Michelle, A have a I have a challenge for you
if you're up for it real quick. Okay, Okay, you're
making a turkey, and I don't know if you heard,
we have a live turkey in the building, like down
the hall, like ky one o two on the kind
of three. You and I are going to do our
best turkey impressions.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Okay, hey, let's hear it. Okay, are you ready?

Speaker 3 (33:51):
All right?

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Bayley comes down? Okay five four three two one. Wow.
I think was better. Wow. Yes, I would argue that
she was. You guys got to get more guttural here,
you guys. Oh sorry, Michelle, thanks for calling in. Happy Thanksgiving.

(34:13):
Have fun to your holiday. Awesome. Okay, all right, that'll
do it for no phone screen or Wednesday today. Now
we're going to jump right into what's on your radar.
This is something we do every week where we talk
about something that's kind of on our radar right now,
whether it's a TV show, a book, an Instagram account,
whatever it might be, we kind of let you know

(34:35):
what we're into. So I'll start and just say that
I went to this new Christmas market at the Northwoop Green.
It's kind of a newer spot in the northw Oop
in Minneapolis, and it's just like the one that's at
Union Depot and St. Paul, but it's brand new this
year at Northwoop Green. It's called Chris Kindle Market and
it's open now through the weekend before Christmas, so December

(34:57):
twenty second, So it's open only on weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
But it's super fun. There's little cute shops you can
buy ornaments from. I got some doughnut ornaments I'm super
pumped about. But great food. You can get some hot
mold wine, some hot coco stuff like that at it.
And then there's live music, lots of activities. People asked
if it's kid friendly. There are kid activities. There's like
a little ceramic painting station And did my friend and I,

(35:20):
who are thirty four years young, go do that while
there were five year olds around us? Absolutely? We did that.
I brought home a little Christmas tree. Follow your bliss? Okay,
Bailey was on your radar online this week?

Speaker 4 (35:31):
Is there's a play called Steel Magnolia's at Yellow Tree Theater,
which is an Osteo which is northwest of the Cities.
It's like the play version of the movie starting Dolly
Parton and Julia Roberts and everything, and it runs through December.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Twenty seconds but twenty second if.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
You go, there are two scenes where a radio plays
on set and you hear a DJ, and that DJ
might have a familiar voice. Oh okay, and it's gonna
maybe it sound kind of like this voice happening rat now. Anyway,
it's a play that I got to be in two scenes, and.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
So I would they say, So you're you're in it.
I'm in it. I'm the radio DJ.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
So yeah, that's Steel magnim World, Steel MAGNOLDI is a
Yellow Tree Theater in Ossio.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
That's what's on my radar. Love it all right? But
what do you got?

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Bailey is gonna love what's on my radar. It's on
my TikTok feed. It's sweeping the nation. It is the
Tree of Wisdom from the Wiggles. So if you haven't known,
and we talked about like the whole the bouncing balls thing.
Now the Wiggles have a new mascot. He's called a
Tree of Wisdom, and he just goes crazy. If you've
heard this song before, this videos of him on TikTok

(36:37):
just dancing so absurdly in the music videos, and you
can tell even some of the other Wiggles are like, Oh,
I didn't know this was happening, and it's just so funny.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
He's like doing what I could.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
I only compared to the Harlem Shake and I can't
wait for you to see it when I posted on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
It's so funny. He's like going viral everywhere. Honestly, more
iconic than any TV character in the world. Wow, I
was gonna say that's a crazy stay, but you know what,
I agree, Tree of Wisdom. All right, Well, we post
these on our Instagram story. If you're wondering what these
all are, we'll post those up in just a few
minutes here. But once again we'll go around the room.
Mine is the Minneapolis Chris Kindall Market that's happening at

(37:18):
North Floop Greens, just like a Christmas market. You can
go to on the weekends.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
Minus Steel Magnolia's at Yellow Tree Theater that runs through
December twenty second.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
And Mine is the Tree of Wisdom from the Wiggles
if you want to watch. The music video of the
song is called Rattling Bog by the Wiggles.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Okay, perfect Well, it is Thanksgiving tomorrow, so technically we
gotta we gotta get in some of our classic Thanksgiving songs.
So how about a little Butterball
