Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dave's hoping they name a snowplow after him, but they're
not sure they can fit stupid, lazy.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
And ugly with that hair on one snowplow, Katie w B.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
I saw the.
Speaker 4 (00:12):
Big Snowplowski go past the other day in the West.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Is that one?
Speaker 4 (00:17):
That's the first time I've ever seen one of them named. Yeah,
there's like a banner all across the side that says, like,
what names there.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
The big Snowplowski? I like that, that's funny.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Do they all have names or just like the one
that like wins every year?
Speaker 5 (00:31):
No?
Speaker 4 (00:31):
I think they several of them top like five like
choices that win, but I don't know how many are
actually named around the scene.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Yeah, there's definitely more snowplows than there are names. Yeah,
it'd be like running out of names, like okay, snowplow
eighty six, eighty seven, eighty eight, Katie, Will you.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Be good Mourning?
Speaker 1 (00:48):
It is your Christmas wish station, counting down to Christmas,
which is now just about nine days away. Hope you
had a good weekend, whether you're watching football or whether
you're doing your shopping or visiting with friends or caroling
or partying and whatever. We got a little celebration coming
up later on this week. We'd love to have a
high school choir come in. Kind of a tradition we
(01:08):
do every year on the show where we get a
local high school choir to come in and we can
probably squeeze thirty people in the studio you really needed to,
we probably.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Could and just sing a few Christmas carols.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
So if you will, you know, if you are with
a high school you're in choir, ask your teacher or
if you're a teacher, you want to come down to
the radio station whenever it works for you. You want
to come down at six am this week, we'll push
on at six am. You want to come down at
nine am, We'll put you on at nine am. But
we'd love to who do we have last time? I
know we had chan Hassen come in not too terribly
long ago, but every year we get a different school
(01:40):
to come in and do like a couple of Christmas songs.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Yeah, I'd have to look back to see who was
in last year, but yeah, we did have someone in
last year and they've always been so good.
Speaker 6 (01:49):
Anytime we've had a choir in.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
It's just kind of festive and kind of cool. What
do they do if you want to come in? If
you're a choir teacher or your in choir, what do
you do?
Speaker 7 (01:56):
Jenny?
Speaker 6 (01:57):
You can just shoot me an email. It's very simple.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
Just Jenny at katiewb dot com and we will coordinate
a time and day for you to come in. We
can make really any day this week work and besides
the times we have Christmas wish, we can make any
time work this.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Week absolutely, and another Christmas wish comes up in about
thirty minutes on KATIEWB.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Right now, Oh, let's.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Wake up your brain a little. Think fast to day's contestants.
All the Way from Minnesota, Bailey, Jayham Bailey, tell us
something about yourself.
Speaker 8 (02:25):
Well, I love cross stitching and it takes up some
time when you're watching television.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
You created, oh vought All the way from Secaucus, New Jersey.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Vonn tell us something about yourself.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Oh, well, I've recently redeveloped a sneaker addiction, and I
almost bought a pair of Crocs yesterday along with a
pair of Jordan's that I did buy.
Speaker 6 (02:45):
That where we're from in New Jersey Checaucus.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
That is a city.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
That's not where I'm from, but Secaucus is like, he
only knows that because it's on the train on the
way to New York.
Speaker 6 (02:52):
Really thought you made that up for a second. I
was like, wow, look at you.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Here we go. Your first category in think Fast is rapping.
Not Christmas rapping, but rappers. I will give you a clue.
You identify the rappers. Shout out their name when you
think you have it. This rapper was married to Kim Scott. Okay,
Travis Scott. Oh, I thought that was a decent guest
(03:18):
to think about.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
It is correct, but you you're too slow.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
I'm glad I knew that it was a shot in
the dark. This rapper was married to another Kim Kanye. Yes, okay.
This rapper was in a movie called Cool as Ice.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Hello Cool Jay.
Speaker 6 (03:36):
No, I don't know any rappers.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Oh god, my guy.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Here we go with another rapper. This rapper's real name
is Calvin.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
About Oh, that's Curtis Calvin Clyde Calvin snoop, snoop, snoop.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Here's an easy one. You guys will get this one.
This rapper is from Canada. Drake yep, oh, come on, Bieber,
here we go. Bad ideas for Christmas? Candle sense now,
these are bad ideas for a Christmas candle sense, so
it's not gonna be cinnamon or cocoa.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Okay, Christmas, Okay, here we go.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Bad idea for a Christmas candle scent. Give me one
starting with p po tang? Did you just say you did?
You said what I thought you said? Write it down?
Write it down. That's a when that works? He would
work better. Yeah, okay, I was.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Thinking about the Gwyneth Paltrow candle.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Well, I get it. Bad idea for a Christmas candle
scent starting with d do doo doo dooo works nice. Also,
dog dog would be a good one.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
It's like a dog.
Speaker 7 (04:55):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
By the way, when we came in the studio this morning,
it smelled like weed in here By and I both
noticed a faint scent of weed here in the studio.
Next one, okay, bad idea for a Christmas candle scent
starting with L lasagna. No, both of those are good.
Actually yeah no, not candle.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
I feel like you can give it to either of them.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
No, no, no, no, litterbox would be a good Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
You'll never get this, but but we'll try it anyway.
A bad idea for a Christmas candle scent starting with
the letter eggs. I'd written down exhaust fumes. Here's another
tricky one. A bad idea for a Christmas candle scent
starting with dung dong is a good one. Yes, okay,
(05:47):
I said dong also works?
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Is that well? Yes? Mom?
Speaker 1 (05:54):
It sure is children's toys. Here we go, classic children's toys.
You plug in pegs and it lights upright. Yeah, Bailey, okay,
you adopt this classic doll. No cabbage patch doll wores No,
not American girl, but nice drive four four four. This
(06:15):
doll has a little sister named Skipper Barbie. Yes, Bailey,
you got it. You race this toy on plastic hot wheels. Bailey,
what's the score now?
Speaker 3 (06:27):
I have six? Vont has four? Game point me, game
point you.
Speaker 9 (06:30):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Christmas movie. I give you a line, you give me
the movie. Here we go, the best way to spread.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Christmas cheers to hear?
Speaker 10 (06:45):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Is it the movie or the loss? The movie? Got it?
Speaker 11 (06:50):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (06:54):
What's that bro?
Speaker 6 (06:55):
Your grandpa over there?
Speaker 1 (06:57):
From the show Good Times? When Jane died Florida, the
mom says.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Damn, damn, damn, oh my god, and.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Left an indelible mark On. Anybody who watched TV back
in the day where that show was on. Jan's kying.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
I think he wanted to quit the show, so they
killed off his character, and Florida said, damn, damn, damn,
just like that. Yep, just like that.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Christmas Movies, I give you a line, you give me
the movie. Guys are eating junk and watching rubbish. You
better come out and stop me.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Jenny.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Yes, next one, nobody's walking out on this fun, old
fashioned family Christmas.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Anybody know it is that National Lampoon's it is? Yes,
here we go.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
This one's a cute, sweet one in the easy. I
never thought it was such a bad little tree. It's
not bad at all. Really, maybe it just needs a
little love.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
I know you got it. Bailey, it is Charlie Brown
Christmas last one.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Over the years, I got to be quite a connoisseur
of soap. Bailey's busting stop it, you know, let somebody
else play.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
Vont you know what it is?
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Is it a Christmas store?
Speaker 12 (08:26):
Yes?
Speaker 13 (08:29):
That is it?
Speaker 3 (08:29):
For things fast and ipe. You had fun.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
We'll be back in a second with one hour commercial free.
We're gonna start off with the three best Christmas songs
the three best Christmas songs all coming up on one
on one point three.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Kd w B. Stay right here on the Dave Bryan
In in the.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Morning Show. Stret is brought to you by Nicola Law Offices.
We have a Christmas wish coming up in just a
few minutes, and I'm very excited about this one. It
involves little babies. We love ones and we love them all.
We love the ones that involved little baby. Brian Austin
Green weighs in on the Megan Fox Machine gun Kelly
split bo Okay.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
That's a shame.
Speaker 14 (09:07):
I'm heartbroken about it because I know she's been so
excited and the kids are so excited for life and
the change and all of that.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
He also talks about how he holds for the best
for them in the future.
Speaker 14 (09:21):
I hope that the best outcome that could possibly happen
happens for her, for the baby, and for our kids.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
What do you think that looks like?
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Time will tell them.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
We'll see, Okay.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Malcolm in the Middle is coming to Disney Plus with
new episodes. The voice you're hearing is Walter White, who
apparently is not a real character. I thought he was
a real character in Breaking bad. But apparently he played
the dad on Malcolm in the Middle. I guess I
thought he was a drug dealer in twenty five years
since we premiered Malcolm in the Middle. I'm so excited
(09:55):
that I may have Pete just a little different. Excuse me,
I'm sorry to me. Always gonna be Walter White, I
just always will be. Taylor Swift got she turned thirty
five last week, So Travis Kelcey went out shopping. Where
do you think Travis Kelsey went shopping for Taylor's gifts? Lemon,
no Spencer's Spencer in the backlet to the back of
(10:18):
He got her one of those lamps that has little
fiber optic lights on. Oh, and he also got a
candle in a funny adult shape, which he thought was
really funny. Yeah, and then he got a mug that
said I'm always tired. Yeah wow, because he's an idiot.
Speaker 6 (10:34):
What a fun relationship they have.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
So cute.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Here's what he really got her. He got her a
bunch of thirty five luxury flower arrangements, a sixty thousand
dollars Rolex, and a kiss t shirt made shirt.
Speaker 6 (10:47):
Keep there that doesn't feel right?
Speaker 3 (10:50):
I made that up.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Owen Wilson joined Travis Scott on stage at Rolling Loud Miami.
On Saturday night. Owen started a movie called Rolling Loud,
about an overprotective dad who takes his thirteen year old
son to the festival. Has anybody heard of the movie
Rolling Loud?
Speaker 2 (11:06):
No?
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Okay, I've heard of Rolling Rock. Beer No, no, No,
great beer. D Loves Bailing Rock.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
All the Speaking of movies, I saw a couple of
both airplane movies over the weekend. We watched Carson and
I watched a dumb movie called Flight seventy five hundred,
where it looked like they rented an airplane set and
made it up as they went along. But it's it's
called Flight seventy five hundred and it's compelling enough to
keep you watching, but it's also very stupid. Then we
(11:35):
watched Carry On with Jason Bateman.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Oh, how was that?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
I heard so many people talking about it.
Speaker 12 (11:39):
It was good.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
It was Netflix good.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Yeah, you know exactly what I mean.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
So like, like, I'll watch this once because so I
can say I'll watch it, but I won't.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Go back to it. Right, it's Netflix good.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
But then again it came up how Jason Bateman as
Susan's one of her two Hall passes, Jason Bateman along
with Casey from Yellowstone.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
But then I said, if you really love Jason Bateman,
let's go back and watch Arrested Development. And she couldn't
get into him because he was too young.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Oh old Jason.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
He wants old, fifty year old Jason Bateman instead of
thirty year old Jason Bateman.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
I would agree with that. I think he's aged very nicely.
The younger version of him, he just kind of looks
annoying older any sex appeal?
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Okay, all right, I'll buy that one. And this is
Quentin Tarantino is angered Yellowstone fans because he says the
show is basically a soap opera.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
And then I kind of agreed. Yellowstone.
Speaker 12 (12:31):
I didn't really get around to watching Yellows in the
first three years or so, and then then I watched,
like the first season.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
I wow, this is great.
Speaker 12 (12:37):
I've always been a big Kevin cost fan. But at
the end of the day, it's all just a soap opera.
They've introduced you to a bunch of characters and then
everything is just the compellingness of the soap opera. So
the difference between is I'll see a good Western movie
and I'll remember it for the rest of my life.
It built to an emotional climax of some degree, but
(12:57):
there's a payoff to it.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
But there's not a pay off on this stuff. I
kind of agree.
Speaker 8 (13:04):
I'm still gonna watch it, though I still haven't started Yellowstone. Yellowstone, Yeah,
but I still want to watch it because now I've
watched all the prequels and I feel like I have to.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Well, it just becomes really over the top. Like Kevin
Cosner gets shot like forty seven times, then like the
next episode he's just fine, like it never happen, and
then like the bank building blows up, and then Beth
is like fine afterward, but she's still got a nasty
scar on her face.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Oh but it's like a hot scar, like it's in
the right place.
Speaker 6 (13:28):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, I say that.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:31):
It gives her character more character, not that it needed anymore,
because she is a lot.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
She is a lot.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
She's my favorite character on Yellowstone for sure. And that
is the dirt brought to you by Nikolay Law Offices.
We're gonna come in, well, we're gonna do it. Take
a quick break and they're gonna start off with a
Christmas wish, So I'm not sure what that break is
gonna consist of, but we're gonna bring in our Christmas
wish person. And as you're listening live, you will hear
this wish granted on KATIEWB. Christmas Wish coming up next
(13:59):
on EWBT Mascara Alert. We'll be right back. Believe in
the imagine of the Holidays. Dave Ryan's Christmas Wish. Good morning, Laurie,
Good morning. How long you've been listening to KATIEWB. Laurie,
oh years, years since you were a little kid and
called in to request Madonna.
Speaker 10 (14:17):
Probably when my daughter was in high school. Okay, so
fifteen seventeen plus years ago. Okay, gotcha. Thank you for
doing a Christmas wish. You are doing a Christmas wish
for my daughter and her husband. They have a child
that was born with many health issues, and so I
talked to you.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
We talked last week. We did and we talked.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
I mean, the challenges that they've come across have really
been pretty incredible, I mean, very very difficult challenges, and
we want to help out with a Christmas wish and
some of the things that you think they might need
that might bring a little joy to their holiday. To
deliver the Christmas wish is our friend Brandon from College
(14:59):
Muscle Movers. Brandon, good morning, good morning, Thanks.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
For getting up early. Brandon. What part of town are
you in right now?
Speaker 1 (15:05):
We're in Zimmerman.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Who Zimmerman? Okay, didn't we do another one in Zimmerman?
Not too long? We did one in Becker, which is
kind of up that that way too.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Okay, well, Brandon, thanks for helping out. Brandon is our
safety net if they do not answer the phone. And
then Brandon also brings in all of the things that
we are bringing to this family. Brandon, stand by and
we'll let you know if we need you.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Okay, o, good.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Thanks for all you guys do College Muscle Movers. I
always want to give them a plug if you were
thinking about moving. They give you fifteen free muscle boxes
and an on time guarantee with every move that they do.
We're gonna call Erica right now. Erica is your daughter,
It's my daughter. Okay, that's called Erica right now.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
So what did you tell Erica this morning to try
to convince her to answer a random phone call.
Speaker 10 (15:53):
She thinks that I'm delivering laundry that I had done
for her. Okay, that's a good way to put it.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Also super nice. I'd love it if someone did my laundry, honestly.
Is that your Christmas wish?
Speaker 5 (16:05):
Yes? Okay, Oh, this is Hi.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
I'm looking for Erica please.
Speaker 13 (16:21):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Yes, she is upstairs with one of the kids. Can
you give me a second, Yeah for sure. Yeah, oh,
thank you. Okay, I think you might have an idea
what's going on here? But that's her husband. That's her husband, Josh.
But he's really gone, Josh. Okay, Josh, are you still there?
Speaker 12 (16:39):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (16:39):
He set the phone. Yeah, he's just running it ran upstairs. Okay.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Sometimes people find out and it's not the end of
the world. If people find out about Christmas wish. I
think Josh thinks you're the laundry guy.
Speaker 8 (16:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Yeah, they probably think it's a doctor's office.
Speaker 10 (16:55):
Hi.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Is this Erica? This is Erica.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
The story about the laundry being delivered, that was all
a ruse, a ruse. This is actually Dave Ryan on
the radio over at Katie WB. I'm sitting here with
your mom right now. Hei, Mom, Hi, kiddo, would you
have any idea why we're calling this morning, Erica.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Well, i've heard your radio station before.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Yeah, yeah, so you know that we're probably calling with
a KATIEWB Christmas wish, and you would be right. Your
mom wrote in about your two little ones, and she
wrote us that three little ones, three little ones, and
she is going to read the letter right now.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Erica, have you got a minute?
Speaker 10 (17:41):
Yeah, okay, mom, Our daughter. Erica and her husband had
twin boys a year ago in April. Elliott was born
at five pounds three ounces. Besides being premature, he was healthy.
Jack was born at two pounds eight ounces with several
health issues. He had field growth restriction and was also
born with a rare condition called oeies. His intestines, liver,
(18:03):
and bladder were on the outside of his body. He
has spina bifida and his lower organs did not completely develop.
At five days old, he had his first surgery to
put his liver and intestines back in his body. He
is our little miracle. After four months in the NICU,
he was able to go home. Erica has taken unpaid
leave from her position to care for him. Her husband's
(18:24):
medical did not cover Erica's MSS medication. It was more
economical for her to take Cobra for the coverage this
year in twenty twenty four. It has been a high
monthly expense for them, especially since she has not been
able to work very much this year. Jack has been
in the hospital for approximately fourteen weeks and has had
four major surgeries, one being very major, including five surgeons.
(18:49):
Having two other children at home to care for, she
missed visiting Jack only a couple of the days out
of the fourteen weeks. They live approximately an hour away
from the hospital, it has been a lot of driving.
Jack has regular visits with neurology, urology, primary pediatrician, physical therapy,
feeding therapy, GI doctor and dietitian, orthopedic for his club
(19:10):
feet and ampho braces, and other specialty appointments. He had
seen palmonology and he had worn a helmet. They have
many weekly appointments. Jack has an italyostomy bag, a G
tube that bypasses his stomach and goes directly into his intestine.
He does not eat anything by mouth. He is on
a continuous twenty four hour feed. He has a second
(19:31):
G tube for his bladder, a tube for his stomach
that relieves stomach acid and he wears AMFHO braces. He
has had infections and rashes on his skin from linking
tubes until his major surgery. His bladder, being on the
outside of his body, also had to be cared for.
Erica is an amazing caregiver. She is exhausted and never complaints.
(19:52):
They are wonderful parents in this situation that they're in.
Erica's husband is a police officer and he volunteers with LIMA,
which means he volunteers his services for feign officers funerals.
I'm asking for them to be blessed with things that
are time saving and make things more convenient for Erica.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Thank you to Katie W.
Speaker 10 (20:12):
B and the wonderful staff for making Dave Ryan's Christmas
which is possible to the business and individuals that support this,
and thank you for choosing their.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
Family four months in the nick you right, yeah about that.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
When you had your twins, did was there any indication
that there would be health issues?
Speaker 7 (20:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (20:40):
We found out pretty early on, but probably abound twelve
twelve weeks is when we first got the indication that
something was wrong.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
And I think it's one of those things where nearly
everyone listening who has kids the experiences pretty you know
what to expect. You have a kid, If you have
a c SEC, you're in for a day or two.
After you bring your child home, you put him in
the little crib, you do the feedings, and it's all
kind of routine. And you'd had another child before. How
old is your oldest one?
Speaker 5 (21:10):
He's four?
Speaker 3 (21:11):
He's four, And that's Wilson. What a great name.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
And then Jack was Elliott was fine, and Jack was
I mean two pounds and eight ounces.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
That's so tiny, just such a tiny little baby with.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
All of the health issues and surgery, serious major surgery
with five surgeons.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Did you say, the last major surgery and the.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
One major surgery to put his organs and intestines back
inside his body.
Speaker 5 (21:43):
But yeah, there's a lot of repair to his organs.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
And he's home now, yep.
Speaker 5 (21:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
And how is he doing.
Speaker 5 (21:53):
He's doing all right. He's working hard, physical therapy and
all his appointments to catch up.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
I'm pretty sure I saw a picture. You sent me
a picture, didn't you, Laurie. Yeah, is a smile.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
He's a big smiles all the time. He's a big
smile or he's a happy boy.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
He's pretty happy.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Well, we know there's a lot of challenges ahead with
the insurance and medical costs, and you're not working right
now because you're home taking care of little Jack. Yeah,
and not just Dak, but also his brother Elliott and
Wilson as well. And I think sometimes people forget when
there's a sick child, the other children still need that
(22:31):
love and attention. Tell me a little bit about Elliott.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
He's so funny. He's into everything. He's really really smart.
I mean we can tell him to throw his diaper
away and he goes right to the garbage, cancer away.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Such a sweet age. About a year old, then nineteen months, okay,
And then tell me about Wilson too. He's four.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
Yeah, he is in pre school and he's into race cars,
cars and even cars racing.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
He's very social, very social.
Speaker 1 (23:11):

easier with some things for the kids and things for
you and for your husband also, Josh. So let's start

is that right?
Speaker 1 (24:31):
Three?
Speaker 10 (24:32):
Yes' one around a tube, one to protect a skin, yeah,
and then one that the bladder go was directed into.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
So he wears three.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
You were talking about, LORI about the challenge of like
the leaking tubes and it's like that caused a rash
and skin irritation, and this is just something that you'd
never think of. Just another thing that the f keep

and when we got home, he said, everybody else has one,
but we don't have one.
Speaker 3 (26:39):

Speaker 5 (27:17):

that when he was through all of his surgeries and
well enough, that I wanted to bring him to Disney World.

you can spend in Disney on whatever you want when
you make that trip, and I hope it's soon. And
then the rumor has it also Laurie said that you

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Is this true?
Speaker 5 (27:46):

down there.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
We've reached out to our good friends at Warner Stellion
and they're going to give you a large capacity wash

Speaker 3 (28:29):
So there's some things just to you know.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
The biggest thing I think we want for you is
to just continued progress for your little guy and and
you know, to help you just know that you're loved
and supported by so many people, because this is a
challenging road and there's there's more of the road to travel,
and we just wanted to feel give you some joy
(28:54):
and support with Christmas Wish.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
Okay, okay, oh my gosh, I'm you tell us.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Well, we're happy to do this for you.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
And thanks to your mom Laurie for helping us learn
about your family, and we wish you and your family
nothing but the best for Christmas.
Speaker 5 (29:12):
Thank you, thank you, mom, Well, thank you so much. Yeah,
thank you for everybody who's doing it. And this isn't
included in that long list you just gave us.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Well, you're so welcome. And I think one of the
things is that you know everybody who's a parent. I
just want you to sit for a second and just
think about how blessed you are that you brought home
a perfectly, happy, healthy baby. That is, yes, they are
a challenge to take care of, but if they're happy
and healthy and you know, everything's great, then think about
(29:49):
how blessed you are. And I think that's one of
the things about Christmas wish is we forget how fortunate
we are because we find something to complain about, and
when it turns out, we have very little to complain about.
And you don't complain, Mom says, you don't complain, You're exhausted,
but you still don't complain. Oh yeah, it may be
here in there and maybe here and there. Hey, there's
(30:11):
a guy at your front door. His name is Brandon,
and he's going to bring in most of the presents
that we have for you for Christmas Wish, and anything
else will be delivered.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
Okay, oh okay, thank you.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Okay, I'll let you too, say goodbye, have a good day.
Kado will drop your launderft tonight.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Christmas Wish is presented by Holiday Station stores. Like I said,
refer every fuel purchase through tomorrow. So if you got
to get gas, there's a gas station over here, and
there's a holiday over here, go to Holiday because they're
supporting a Christmas Wish. Of course, Treasure Island Resort and
Casino one of our big presenting sponsors. They fork out
a lot of support for this for Christmas Wish. And
(30:50):
thanks to the Prairie Island Indian community for support for
fifteen or more years and they've been such a great partner.
Youth Link is our charity partner, and the Choice Bank
is our banking partner, and of course College Muscle Movers.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
Thank you, Laurie, Oh, thank you. Thank you so very much.
You are welcome, and that is Christmas wish. On one
oh one point three kd.
Speaker 7 (31:11):
Eric had away about him that put a smile on
everybody's faces, and he had a laugh that was contagious.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
He truly had a heart of gold.
Speaker 7 (31:19):
After many months of fighting a rare form of stomach cancer,
Eric passed away. I'm linly, leaving behind his wife Amy
and two young children, Maddie and Mitch. And that is
why for my Christmas wish, I'm asking for his name
to be able to go somewhere together.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
Thanks so much.
Speaker 9 (31:36):
I'm wishing on a stop and trying to believe that even.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
Though it's fun, he'll find me Christmas.
Speaker 8 (31:47):
Well.
Speaker 13 (31:48):
Five years ago, Jason slipped on wet grass and hit
his mouth on the bumper of a truck and broke
his front tooth. He is very self conscious about it
and has not given a full smile and a picture.
Since it would mean a lot Jason to have his
bread tooth fixed and it would do wonders for self esteem,
had to mention the fact that it would be great
to see this month and this this Christmas.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
We'll hook him up with doctor David, who's front tooth fixed.
Speaker 15 (32:11):
Okay, everyone comes raise all this Christmas.
Speaker 8 (32:21):
It's hard.
Speaker 9 (32:24):
My sister and I would like to nominate Joey and
Julie for a Christmas wish and Aprilly had a beautiful
set of twins born. Jaden has been doing very well
until recently. Surgery is extremely risky for her. They give
her chances at surviving a surgery at less than fifty percent.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Julie had wanted a little girl so badly.
Speaker 6 (32:41):
She said, Jane is the most perfect.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
And beautiful little girl she could have wished for.
Speaker 9 (32:45):
She said that she wished Jane's heart was as beautifully
built as her face. We would love for them to
be able to get family portraits done for Christmas. They
just don't have the money for something like this, and.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
That is what we're going to do for your family
with Christmas wish. She has cost We see, Christie good.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
We got a Christmas wish from your friend Natalie at
work and she told us about how you had been
laid off and your son Tyler was he was going
to get a Wii for Christmas, but then you got
to spend that money on college tuition. But he was
very understanding, and we said, okay, well, let's grant your
friend Natalie's Christmas wish and get him a wi So
(33:40):
will you take this Wii and give that to Tyler
for Christmas?
Speaker 11 (33:45):
Sang, Well, I've got a little guy, Austin in my
class is just incredible. But unfortunately this past summer he
lost his dad and it's been heartbreaking for me to
(34:08):
watch the days where he comes in in the morning
and I know that it's really bothering him. The thing
that inspired me the most to do this is at
our parent teacher conference, I shared an essay that Austin
wrote about the best day of his life. And the
best day of Austin's life was the day that he
got to spend with his parents at the water park.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
And your wish was for a day at water Park
of America for Austin and his family. So they're going
to give Austin and his family a weekend at water
Park of America with the room and with the food
and the water park passes and pretty much everything they
need for a great weekend out there.
Speaker 11 (34:47):
Well, there's just absolutely wonderful.
Speaker 5 (34:49):
That really touches my heart.
Speaker 15 (34:52):
Team Ristmas comes to time, that's all like one when
Christmas comes
Speaker 9 (35:10):
To time,
