Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dave Ryan Show is now on YouTube every morning starting
at seven am.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Just search Dave Ryan TV and we're all bad. I
was going to don't miss anything last week. Everything's good
last week. It's gone mostly part of last week all
of this week because over in Hawaii, you heard of it.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
It's nice over.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
There, warmish, Yeah, nice fight e uh huh. We had
a nice time. People are like, what you do. I'm like,
I don't know. We laid around a lot, played golf. Yeah,
we played golf a couple of times. And we went
on a chocolate factory farm tour that was kind of cool.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Cool lot. Did you go to a lou hour?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
No, we didn't go to a luau. Lou hours are
They're overrated. I'm gonna be honest with you. If you
if you've been to one luau, you've been to every luau. Okay,
First of all, they're like, oh, you gotta try the poi.
You try the poi and you go that's gross because
it's like a mashed potato, but it's gross. And then
you see the guys with the spinning fire sticks and
that's pretty cool. They got a ukulele and a hula
girl up there and He's like, Okay, you guys ready

(00:55):
to head back to the room now. I see it's okay.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
You mean to what you've been to.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
A hula before, Bailey, I've been to a luau.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
That's what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Yeah, lu luau.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
When I was fourteen, we went to Hawaii, me and
my sister, my mom. All right, Yeah, it was a
fun trip. But when you're fourteen, you're like the ugliest
you've ever been. So the pictures of me and my
sister are just like.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
So I wasn't cute. I love to go back and
look hot instead.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Uh, that's funny.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I gotta give a shout out to somebody who's the
first time listener, Lauren, who is listening in the car
with your boyfriend and they've never listened to the show before.
So shout out, Lauren, Welcome to the Dave Ryan in
the morning show. I put up a couple of pictures
of us in Hawaii. This is what I decided. I
didn't want to make the trip all about taking pictures
and posting them on the gram. Yeah, you know, I

(01:43):
wanted to kind of enjoy it because it's like and
I also feel there's a tiny little part of me
that feels like, if you go to Hawaiian and you
post pictures on social media, you're kind of showing off.
And I don't ever want to give And I know
that everybody goes to Hawaii or goes to you know, wherever,
but I just feel it's kind of like buying a
brand new corvette and putting pictures of me and my
brand new corvette online.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
So what about all the pictures of you, like showing
off your biceps.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Like that's different.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
No, because did you see the the first trap Jenny
of me with the bicep on the Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I know you probably were like Susan.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Now that's exactly why I did time rip my shirt off,
sucked it in. Anyway, it's good to be back. Thanks Ridy,
who was very nice and uh and sent text messages
and I appreciate that. Speaking of text messages, we've actually
had a lot of people bring up something on the
show that they're like, I didn't notice this at first,

(02:37):
but it's become more and more and more apparent. And
a friend of mine even asked last night, said, myself
and some coworkers are wondering about something that's going on
on the show. Can you talk about it. I said, well,
it's not really my place to talk about it, so
we'll let Jenny talk about this.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Yeah, I thought, please get through this part without crying,
but I'm not time.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Andrew and I are no longer together. Uh. We broke
up about a month ago.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Honestly been one of the hardest months of my life.
He was my person, my best friend, just someone I
laughed with constantly to the point of cry and I

(03:33):
really thought that, like, he was it for me. But
things just don't always work out, and you know, we
did end things, and yeah, I have been struggling a bit.

(03:54):
I won't lie. I come in and I try to
laugh and have fun on the show show, but behind
the scenes, all three of you have seen me cry.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
And I go home now to.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
An empty house that I used to share with this person,
and it's been it's been really hard.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Oh, buddy.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
He was just such a huge part of my life,
as you guys obviously know, and I pictured this future
with him, So I'm not only morning like losing this person,
but also like a future I thought we were gonna
have together. And I know people go through break ups

(04:52):
a lot, but this one is definitely.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
One of the hardest.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
I mean, I've spent the last five plus years of
my life with him.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Sorry, it's okay, I'm I'm I admire you for talking
about it. There's so much that I want to say,
but the last thing that I want to do right
now is to be that friend that tries to give
you advice, because there I will only tell you that
I think we've all, if you're old enough, you've been
in a relationship where it's like this is the one

(05:31):
I can see. Not only do I love them now,
but I love the idea of that future us and
those trips that will take and the experiences that we'll
have together, even if it's just like laying in bed
and touching each other's feet, you know, just all the
things that you look forward to. And now not only

(05:52):
is that presence gone. And I'm not trying to rub
it in, Jenny, but I'm only, you know, expressing it.
I think the empathy that a lot of people have
is that future goes away too, and now there's a void.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
There's a void where that future was.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
And you know, somebody will, some mean, well meaning person
will come along and say.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
There's plenty of fishing machine, or.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
You'll find someone that's not helpful, and you don't want
to find somebody else. You want that person, I think,
and I don't want to speak for you, but I
think that there's it's just one of those It's one
of those things in life that just sucks, and there's
no the best way that the best way to get
through it is to go through it, not try to
avoid it. People will try to avoid things by not

(06:35):
thinking about it, or you know, getting together with somebody
else right away. And I think that you know, and
I don't want to give you advice, but I think
that we all know that sometimes the best way through
something is to get to the other side, is to
go through it. Have you gotten a lot of people
who have been melt well meaning and like oh Jenny,
Like I can see Cindy because she loves you, your

(06:57):
mama calling you up and saying everything is fine, you
just need to go out on another date.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
No, no, no, quite the opposite. I mean, we were
very infiltrated into each other's lives. So you know, I've
spoken with his mom, and my mom and my family
are shocked that this is happening. They also thought that

(07:24):
we were going to be together and so yeah, it's
it's been hard, a hard time. I have a really
good support system that has been there for me. But
it doesn't take away from there's the feelings you feel

(07:46):
when you're by yourself.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
No, it's true, and it's so lonely it is.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
There's a loneliness that is like a This is one
thing that I've noticed about love. It's so freaking important
to us. What are nearly all songs about love or heartbreak?

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Love or heartbreak?

Speaker 2 (08:08):
This is either a song telling you how much I
love you, or it's a song telling you how much
I hurt that we don't have that love anymore. Love
is that important. So when you hear somebody like Jenny
going through this, it's like, yeah, because it hurts, and

(08:29):
most of us get it. If you've not ever understood
this feeling, trust me, one day you will. And it's
not like when you break up when you're eighteen years old.
And not to diminish the pain that when you break
up and you're eighteen years old, this is a five
year relationship time, which is.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Which is a long time.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
And when you're eighteen or twenty years old and you
break up, somebody got it hurts.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
It hurts.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
I know somebody whose daughter broke up and they were
just crushed and then two months later they were fine
because you're eighteen and you're twenty one or whatever. But
at a certain point in lie it really does hurt. Well, Jenny,
we're here for you. Thank you, and I think you
We did bring in some shots of Fireball.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Oh yes we did, and I think Bagpiper coming and
as well.

Speaker 6 (09:15):
Jenny. I know it's literally just four hours out of
your day, but you know, I hope that we for
the time that we're here, I can, you know, take
your mind off of anything and everything.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Yeah, I mean I will say that.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
You know, people reach out to us and say that
we've helped them through hard times in life, and that
this show has definitely helped me through hard times. Sometimes
I come in and I can't be on my A
game because I feel like how I feel right now.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
But I love coming into the show and being here.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
With you guys because it at least gets my mind
off of things for at least four hours a day.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Absolutely, Well, we're here and a.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Lot of text messages are coming in. There's tons of
love from people for you.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah, we appreciate that. Read some of those Jenny, that
might help you out just a teeny tiny bit. Maybe
we are going to come back in a second. On KTWB,
we do have other things that are cheerier, hopefully like
Jon tickets we have no phone screen or Friday. We're
doing one Hit Wonder Friday. I want you to think
of a one hit wonder because we're going to play
one a little bit later on. Thanks for being here

(10:15):
the Dave Ryan Show. We need each other. Yeah, and
we appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Go to YouTube and search Dave Ryan TV.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
I do need a haircut though, Yeah, you look rough.
That's not what a friend is supposed to say. You're
not supposed to you. It's like, no, you've got this, buddy. Yeah,
go ahead, And boy, I think I need a haircut.
I'm sorry, so sorry?

Speaker 4 (10:38):
Can I try again?

Speaker 2 (10:40):
No, we're done with you. Getting a shout out to
It's a big day to day. Happy birthday. Shout out
to Kenneth. It is his golden birthday today, the big
one one from the fam squad. We love you, Kenneth,
and happy birthday from everybody here. On kd WUB Auto
Show starts this weekend.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Today is today.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
I'm gonna be at the auto show later today from
noon until two, handing out Jonah Murray tickets, saying, Hi,
do a little magic tricks for the kids that they
come by, given directions information like where's the Forde section
down this way to the left bathroom. That's exactly right.
So at the auto show, Seriously, it's gonna be a
great week and go to the auto show, get out

(11:19):
and look around and see what's out there. Maybe it's
time for a new car auto show downtown Minneapolis at
the Convention Center this weekend. And I want to say
next weekend as well. Follow me on the gram and
I got some pictures and videos of some of the
cool things that are down there at the auto show
today noon until two. But it goes like all weekend,
all right, seven twenty four On KATIEWB, we're doing We're

(11:42):
gonna do a talkback Tuesday or not not talking. I'm sorry,
dot to have time. It's facial Friday. Every day has
a name here, I'm able to be facial Friday. Do
you want a facial Yes, you just let us know
on the talk back feature, Open up the iHeart app,
tap that red microphone button and tell us why you've
had a tough week and why you want a facial
and this is like a high end facial.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Jenny's got the info on this facial.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
Yeah, so you're gonna get a hydropacial from the Face
Foundry and then also you get a clear silk laser
for from Lasery.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
So two to different.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
So this sounds like something where you're going into a
dark room where they have like a little lamp in
the corner, little music playing.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
They're like, okay, go ahead and lay back. Okay, just relax.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Next thing, you know, you're snoring because it feels so
and it actually snored during the facial one time and
it woke myself up.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
So this is like, this is embarrassing.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
Snored loud enough to wake yourself up.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Yeah, yeah during the person standing right there doing.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Your face, so relaxing a hydro facial yep, hydro Do
you know what a hydrofacial is?

Speaker 5 (12:44):
It's it basically sucks all the gum out of your face.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
It's like a like one of those Oh seriously, it's
like a vacuum. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
So all the black heads and pustules and the air
and all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Yeah, okay, anyway, where does this get done? Jenny, way
to give this place a plug.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Hydro facial You're going to get at face boundary and
then the clear silk laser is at.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Lasery very cool. Why do you need a facial? Use
the talkback feature tell us why you've had a rough
week or rough morning or whatever, and then at the
end and say, and so that's why and I need
a facial something like that on the talkback feature will
play some of those back in a minute. Pretty vulnerable
moment on the show a little while ago that we
kind of want to respond to because Jenny was addressing

(13:27):
something that so many people have kind of noticed over
the last month on the show. And it's so interesting
how people kind of like, we have like this connection
with you who listened to the show because you know
about things in our lives and you notice, like when
something's like, well, what's up what happened with Bailey and Trip?

Speaker 3 (13:47):
People?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
I mean, I'm not asking, but people noticed, like, you
know Bailey and talking about Trip in a while, Vaughn,
what's going on with Alyssa? Have you gotten engaged to
that girl yet? That type of thing? Dave, did you
get a new dog? Because Josie died? And then people
started to notice that Jenny had not talked about Andrew
in quite a while, and he came up like every

(14:09):
two or three days on the show.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
Yeah, yeah, I Andre and I are no longer together.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
We broke up about a month ago.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
And yeah, as I said a little bit ago, it's
been really hard.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
I lost like my best friend.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Oh buddy, I totally get that.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
And I think that you know, when you see somebody
on Facebook and they say, you know, this is my
best friend, I'd marry this person all over again, And
I think that is when you really have it. I'm
not trying to like rub it in at all, but
I'm trying to make sure that you know that. I
think we understand that when you lose somebody like that,
that's that's your person, that's the person that you think

(14:50):
about all the time, and when something happens good or bad,
that's the person you call or text. And so we
understand and not trying to rub that in.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
We had a lot of text messages that are sending
lots of.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Here's my favorite, here's my favorite.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah, now that Bailey doesn't have a boyfriend and Jenny
is single, you two should move in together because you.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Did say that, so you're not alone, they said. My
seven year old daughter said, Bailey doesn't have a boyfriend.
Her and Jenny can live together to not be alone.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
The wisdom of a seven year old.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
I mean, they're not wrong. Save money.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah, here's one. I'm bringing donuts over about a half
an hour for Jenny and the crew. F Yi, a
donut shop owner balling in his delivery van is not
a great look. I hope you can at least giggle
over the visual. Thanks Jenny for sharing your genuine feelings.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
And you're not alone.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Yeah, someone says, my heart breaks for you, Jenny. I'm
sorry you're going through this, but you're a strong, beautiful woman.
This too shall pass, which a lot of people are
having the same sentiment.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
They say, take strength to be vulnerable. Don't ever forget that, Jenny. Yeah,
lots of love for you.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
Of course, even though I'm barely able to talk to
these tears right now, I appreciate every single text that
has come in, but I I just want to say that,
you know, I.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
Wish him the best.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
I don't he was still like a huge part of
my life, so I really hope he continues on and
has a great life.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
Ahead of him. It just didn't.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
You're a bigger person than me.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
I'm kind of trying to make a smile and sometimes
I'm not very good at it.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
That's my instinct though.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
When somebody is like, you know, sad, my instinct is
to lighten the mood a little bit, and sometimes that
doesn't go off very well.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Yeah, a lot of people want to give you hugs.
They're sending hugs from all around the state of Minnesota
and beyond.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Thank you. I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Here's one.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
As a mom of an adult child, I just want
to come down there and hugger. Beautiful Jenny is beautiful
inside and out. Love you, Jenny Huggs. I will tell
you this about Jenny. The person that you hear on
the radio is really Jenny. She really is that nice.
She's wonderful. She listens to my boring stories, like Jenny,
we ran out assault last night, and Jenny will.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Be like, tell me more.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Oh, I love it.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
Yeah, I can bring some over, to bring some over.
And I'm going to tell you this.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
A lot of radio people they put on an act
and they put on this fakey, faky mask, and Jenny did.
There's no there's no fakiness in Jenny at all, basically
what you hear on the radio, And I think it's
true of everybody on the Morning show. You know, none
of us are perfect, but I think that what you hear.
One of the things I'm really proud of about this
show is there's no divas on this show. There's nobody

(17:32):
who's like really nice on the radio but kind of
a snot in the hallways. And Jenny kind of exemplifies
that that she's just nice.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
She's just nice.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Yeah, she's just nice. You're a good devil?

Speaker 5 (17:48):
Yeah, isn't an it all over my microphone right now?

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Gross?

Speaker 4 (17:54):
IM sitting there.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
So don't put tissue paper like into your eye. Your
eye will suction it to I just like I've been
wiping because of course we're too poor to have Kleenex
around here, so I'm using tissue paper and it likes
suction to my.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Issue paper like that your wrap presence with Oh.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
No, sorry, Like why am I saying tissue paper toilet.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
Paperlet toilet paper toilet paper? Don't get it too close
to your eye.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
Your eyeball ol suck onto it and not let it out.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
So you know, we we we hate to say well,
let's move on to other things. But at some point
we will have to talk about other things. So, but Jenny,
we're here for you, and Jenny is not always the
most outward you know person with her you know, like,
because Jenny doesn't want to burden us with her things
that are going on, whereas me and Bailey we have

(18:40):
no problem with burning any other people.

Speaker 4 (18:42):
I guess what.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Okay, All right, let's move on. We got some talk backs.
We get some talk backs on the talk back feature.
Why do you deserve a facial? This is a hydro
facial from face face boundary and then what's the other one?

Speaker 4 (18:57):
There's another rasor removal.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
No, no, just a clear silk lazer and that's for
your face.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Very cool.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
So leave us a talk back and let us know
why you need a facial and then we'll do Uh.
We got some old von's got someone already here, we
go check it out.

Speaker 7 (19:13):
I need a facial because my self care day went
horribly wrong.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Yesterday.

Speaker 7 (19:18):
I bought a waxing kit off of TikTok shop and
I tried to wax my ar kits yesterday for the
very first time. I basically took off my first layer
of skin.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Yep, took.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
School mats hurt so.

Speaker 8 (19:36):
Bad today and that's why I need a facial.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
All right, what else we got bought? We got more?

Speaker 4 (19:46):
Good morning.

Speaker 9 (19:48):
I have had a rough week because my four year
old has had a meltdown every single day this week
because of bullies at her preschool. I am so over
it and the teachers are doing nothing. And that's why
I need a facial.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
You do need a facial.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
That's tough because in preschool they have not learned the
concept yet of being kind because their little minds are like, well,
I'm gonna go ahead and pick on her because she's whatever.
She's there, Yeah, she's around, Okay more talkbacks is another one.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
My name's Amanda. I'm from Bloomington.

Speaker 10 (20:30):
My week has been awful. My job has three employees
when we typically have like ten to twelve because somehow
everybody got the same week off, so I've been working
over time. I've been having a horrible time. And to
tap it all off, my dog threw up this morning

(20:52):
and I stepped in it.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
That's why I need a facial.

Speaker 6 (20:55):
Oh gosh, she has another one.

Speaker 11 (21:00):
Jenny vont Bailey. I need a facial because I've had
one hecta a year divorce. Just don't to pay a
bunch of taxes. I used to get one every once
in a while, but it's been so long I just
can't afford it.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
I would love to have a facial.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
And then we're still getting a bunch of play one
more for now, Okay, sure we'll do some more in
a minute.

Speaker 12 (21:23):
Hi, guys, my name is Dressed. I feel like I
really need a facial because I work in the pick
you and the nick you as the Children's hospital, and
it's been quite over off week for me. I would
just really love being a nice, relaxing next moment.

Speaker 10 (21:40):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Let us know why you need a facial. We'll pick
one within another half an hour show. And if you're
not here because you're at work or at school or whatever,
don't worry. We got your phone number, we get ahold
of you, and we will let you know that you
won your facial on Facial Friday from KDWB.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Let's do this.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
It's a Dave Ryan Show, one on one point three
kd WB. Gwyneth Paltrow is on the dirt today. She
says she wishes she had more.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
My dad used to.

Speaker 9 (22:06):
Say the only regret he had in his entire life
was not having more kids.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
And I felt like that for a long time until
I got yours too.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
Oh you know, I got to tack on.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
That's it. Oh, that's it.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Okay, that's it all right. Will Shaboozie ever have another
hit song? He had the biggest song of the year
last year? Will he have another hit song? Check this
one out? This could be. It is called Blink Twice
with Miles Smith. I kind of like it, kind of
like it. Lina del Rey, I love Delray. She got

(22:43):
a new song called Henry Come on, here's Lana and
Jelly Roll's going to a new one called Dreams Don't.

Speaker 10 (22:52):
Die out of Crowd.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Like all of those this week so kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Dirt is brought to you by sixty one two Injured
Heimer and Lammer's Injury Law. Did Betty White live to
be almost a hundred because of what she ate for breakfast?

Speaker 5 (23:13):
She loved drinking vodka on the ice and eating chocolate
cake for breakfast.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
Like a real true legend. That's crazy, yea, she lived
a very long time.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Yes, write that down, Jennet. Yeah, vodka and chocolate was
it chocolate cake? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (23:31):
Don't they haven't they?

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Isn't it a thing that you can like put vodka
into chocolate cake and then it makes you know, like
chocolate cake vodka.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Is not a thing.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
I have never heard of it that no.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
I think you might have dreamed that I did dream
It sounds good.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
That's okay. That is the dirt.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
We're going to get right into No Phone Screen or
Friday on KTWB. We do this every Friday. Give you
a chance to get on the radio and talk about
whatever you want to talk about. You want to bring
something up, ask a question, confront us. I don't know,
maybe you maybe not confront us. I'm like, hey, Dave,
you owe me twenty five dollars.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
You looked at me sideways the other day and I'm
mad about it.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Then get on the phone sixty five one nine eight
nine KDWB for No Phone Screen or Friday. And thanks
for all the nice supportive messages. I mean seriously, hundreds
of messages for Jenny. And you know, Jenny's gonna probably
read to everyone. She doesn't respond to you.

Speaker 4 (24:22):
I'm trying to respond to everyone, So thank you, Jenny.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Here's a text that says, Jenny use all the time.
In the world to focus on you. I was with
mine for nine years. We broke up last year. I
still struggle a lot. I don't say that to make
you feel worse, but to say you're not alone. You're strong,
even if you don't feel right. Now, take time for
your own self care and do all the you things.
If you need a hiking friend, here's my number, early fortis,

(24:49):
early forties, pretty dope single female.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Lol. Really though, all the good vibes are coming your way,
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
I do need a hiking front now, Yeah, to take you.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Up on you know, you know what you mean, like me?
You need a dog?

Speaker 4 (25:05):
Well, she has dogs that she takes care of.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Yeah, yeah, I've.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Thought about it, but unfortunately I need to keep watching
dogs because my financial situation has also changed drastically.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Now, uh, and that's another thing.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
All right, Well, let's move into no Phone or screen
or Friday and see what happens on KTWB. The rules
on no Phone or Screen or Friday they are about
the same as all ways. You're live on the radio,
just let the phone ring until you hear us pick
it up, and then you're live and then you can
say anything you want to. Of course, there's no swearing
because we got the dump button. If you try, it'll
be a cute prank, but it won't work, and then

(25:39):
you can't plug like your kid's event or your you know,
your church bake sale or anything going on this weekend.
So just and no shout outs either. Yeah, no shout
outs because you know we want to do something else.
We'll do shout outs another time.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
Have a plan.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Six, five, one, nine, eight nine KTWB. You are on
the radio. You're first up.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
What is your name?

Speaker 9 (26:00):
Hi?

Speaker 13 (26:00):
I am Kaylee?

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Hi, Kaylee? What's up today?

Speaker 14 (26:03):
Hi?

Speaker 15 (26:03):
I just wanted to say this to Jenny.

Speaker 14 (26:06):
I got out of a seven.

Speaker 15 (26:07):
Year relationship and it's very hard. But just know, Jenny,
you were Jenny before.

Speaker 16 (26:11):
You're with him, and you will be Jenny after.

Speaker 13 (26:13):
M Yeah.

Speaker 15 (26:15):
Yes, I love you guys, and I hope you guys
have the best Friday.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
Thanks, thank you, Katie w B. No phone screen for Friday.
What is your name?

Speaker 4 (26:25):
MICHAELA?

Speaker 3 (26:26):
MICHAELA? What's on your mind? Mikayla? Did we lose you? Wow?

Speaker 2 (26:33):
There goes Mikayla. All right, Hello, Katie w B. You're
on the radio. What's your name?

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Shall I'm Michelle A?

Speaker 4 (26:40):
What's up, Hi, Jenny, I am so sorry.

Speaker 15 (26:44):
I feel for you, dear, and BoNT I got a
bone to pick with you.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Oh uh oh.

Speaker 16 (26:51):
This time every time I call him for Jonah Murray,
you either make me color eight, color nine, or I
just missed it.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Oh you got to be called ten.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
It's so funny because there's been so many people we've
been giving out these tickets all week.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
They'll be like, oh, I called Monday, Oh I called Tuesday,
and then they become called tends e. I keep calling Michelle, Yeah,
will you'll get it?

Speaker 3 (27:10):
Yeah, you have a good one.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Michelle by Michelle Katie WV no phone screen or Friday.
What's your name, Glori, what's up?

Speaker 13 (27:19):
Well?

Speaker 8 (27:20):
I just got done watching uh oh go White. Yeah, yes,
I just got done watching that, and I would not
have guessed who they actually killed off.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
You know, I finished watching it last night.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
We won't give any spoilers or anything, but you know,
somebody dies because in the very opening episode there's gunshots
like boom boom, boom boom, bole, like this is his shootouts.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
You're like, who dies?

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Kind of a surprise, lots of lots of good twist
CITs again wouldn't you say I would say that.

Speaker 13 (27:52):
I'm like, oh my goodness, yeah, I would.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Have never guessed me either.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
By the way, the guy who plays Rick, the creepy
ish kind of a guy with the half bald hair
and the and the young girlfriend with the teeth, you
know who I'm talking about. He's in a comedy called
Vice Principles, and he's so funny and it's so funny
to see Rick, who's kind of a very dark character
on White Lotus, be so funny and Vice Principles.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Have you seen that show?

Speaker 8 (28:19):
I have not, but now I'm gonna have to go watch.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
Go check it out. Watch one episode. You'll either love
it or hate it. I loved it.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Susan thought it was stupid. So all right, no phone
screen for Friday. You're on the radio. What's your name, Brianna?

Speaker 3 (28:31):
What's going on?

Speaker 7 (28:33):
I have a question for y'all. I'm wondering. So Dave
is obviously like the number one guy, the radio show host,
and I feel like Bailey like chimes in a whole lot,
which is awesome. Do you guys have like a hierarchy
to where Bailey's like your secondhand girl, to where she's
always kind of like egging you wand for things, and
Vont and Jenny are just in the background, or like,

(28:54):
are you guys all able to just talk freely?

Speaker 1 (28:57):
And the last one the last one, Yeah, the last
one sitting right across from Dave, so I can look
at his eyeballs the whole time.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
So that's why I chime in.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
She won't shut up? Is the problem?

Speaker 4 (29:06):
What do you mean I won't shot is the problem?

Speaker 2 (29:09):
I want to take I want to take a sock
and I want to stuff it in her face. And
I'm like, Jenny, what do you want to say? And
Bailey will say I'll tell you what Jenny to say.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
And I'm like God, and.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
I'm v what do you want to do? What do
you want to add to the show? And He'll be like,
well I and then.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Bailey, I've been considered.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
So but you're right. I mean at the at the
head of the herd is your boy, Dave. Ryan's the
grand Pooba the pooh ba.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
I missed you. The boy was sure nice to sleep in. Yeah,
did not get up at four thirty with the waves
of the ocean.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
It was great.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Thanks for calling in no phone screen for Friday. You're
on the radio. What's your name?

Speaker 3 (29:49):
My name Isa, what's up Atena?

Speaker 8 (29:52):
I just wanted to call and say, Jenny, you made
me cry this morning.

Speaker 16 (29:58):
I've been in your shoes.

Speaker 8 (30:00):
And I just want to give you the biggest hug
because I know how it feels. I also wanted to
say that Bailey, you're hilarious.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Thanks, love your cat and thank you me too.

Speaker 13 (30:17):
Oh my gosh, he's just the cutest. And I hope
you guys all have a wonderful weekend.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
We're going to try our best.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Yeah, thank you, Yeah, Yeah, I'm gonna be at the
auto show. Kick it off the weekend at the auto
show today from noon until two.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
About it.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
It's the auto Show, Come on.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Shout out to Catherine from my sister, from another mister
and miss it mother. The Let's see it says, the
workday needs to GTFO so we can get to our
Mexican food and sleep over. Love from Christine.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
I love that. Okay, uh more on no phone screen
or Friday. You're on the radio. What's your name?

Speaker 15 (30:54):
This is Carman. I'm glad to see mister.

Speaker 14 (30:56):
Vacation parents have been Hi.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
Yeah that.

Speaker 16 (31:01):
I have an idea, so when you're gone being all
vacation and the group does so well. I think we
need to use Jenny's jingle when You're gone.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
I'm all for it. I don't care.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
I try to be respectful and I don't be respectful.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Nobody else is respectful when I'm gone. No, no, I
don't care.

Speaker 16 (31:20):
No no, no no, you said jingle, Yeah, you don't
endorse it for twenty four seven when he's gone, Okay, I'll.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
Think about it.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
MS jingle right here.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
This is my favorite because she's so inspiring on three
Dave Ryan Show. Jingle Yeah, just saying yeah, I.

Speaker 16 (31:45):
Don't hear nothing.

Speaker 3 (31:48):
Carmen, are you still there? Hello?

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Hello, I can't hear you. Hell, Hello, Hello Carmen. No,
Miss Jenny, I can't hear you.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Hello.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
You're so full of crippart.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Go beating?

Speaker 3 (32:02):
No phone screen or Friday, you're on the radio. What's
your name? What's that? Tracy good?

Speaker 5 (32:09):
Good?

Speaker 13 (32:10):
I have another signing question for you.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
Nice.

Speaker 5 (32:15):
Is the soup a serial or aerial?

Speaker 6 (32:19):
I've been saying this because Jenny's been arguing that what
do you say is a soup, Jenny?

Speaker 4 (32:23):
Or isn't a soup?

Speaker 9 (32:24):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (32:24):
Well, I think that chili is a soup.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (32:26):
So I've been arguing, if we're gonna make that argument,
then cereal is a soup. It's the same like consistency.
But Jenny disagrees this.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
These are these types of things. Just don't bother me.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
And I like to, you know, relax, focus on other
things like relaxings.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Free food out of the kitchen, getting free food. That's
what you missed.

Speaker 5 (32:47):
Somebody left like big bags zip block bags of chips
in the kitchen. So Bailey's been eating chips every single morning.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Like the video of you giving her chips the other day.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
Yeah, for the video, but basically Bailey grabbed the miss
and as they were sitting in the kitchen and every
morning I look over and in the commercial break shot
hammer and chips.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
Well they were that's my girl.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Okay, I got it. By the way, Shout out to Vinnie.
Vinnie is ten years old today. Happy birthday, Vinnie. No
phone screen or Friday. We're putting people on the radio.
You call us at six five, one nine eight nine KTWB.
You say pretty much everything anything you want to. You're
on next. What is your name? Anna? What's up?

Speaker 8 (33:25):
Yeah? Hi, I just got back from a conference and
I there was lots of accent, So Boston accent, Texas, British, French.
And I'm curious if you guys had to sit through presentations,
who what accent would you love to sit through?

Speaker 13 (33:41):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (33:41):
Man, I'll go Australian.

Speaker 5 (33:44):
Yeah, Jenny, I'd say Scottish because aren't they kind of
like the funny ones that swear a lot.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Yeah, Scottish or Irish? Yeah, those two.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
I think for comedy's sake, I would choose like a
Boston accent, so in somebody who's maybe a little bit
more nasal, that would be a really interesting presentation.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
That would be horrible.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
And I'll just go like the stereotypical Jersey accent because
it sounds nothing like that in real life. People are like,
he going from Jersey and that's just not That's not
what it is. I'm from Jerseys so.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
I'm walking.

Speaker 15 (34:17):
What about you?

Speaker 3 (34:18):
On the phone? What do you think?

Speaker 13 (34:20):
Oh?

Speaker 16 (34:21):
I did love the box An accent.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
It was so it was mesmerizing to listen. She fell
in love.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
Yeah, thank you, Anna appreciate it. No phone screen for Friday.
You're on the radio. What's your name?

Speaker 3 (34:33):
It's what's up?

Speaker 13 (34:35):
I just want to say, Jenny, I am so sorry.

Speaker 16 (34:38):
I love you so much.

Speaker 14 (34:39):
You made me cry this morning.

Speaker 13 (34:41):
Oh thanks Funita, don't leave before I ordered you some
Crumble cookies so you can draw your sorrows in the
dr in.

Speaker 5 (34:49):
A crumble Cookieana, you are too kind to us. I
feel like you need to if you could put it
on your taxes. How much money you spent on us
in the morning. The charity donations the day, Ryan shall Yeah,
charity for sure.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
By the way, jan Nita, your rant today on the
Minnesota Goodbye probably my favorite one you've ever done.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
So thank you. Baby mom.

Speaker 13 (35:09):
You know what I met at you because you're take
me on vacation with.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
You next time.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Just don't tell Susan or your husband and we'll go off.
We have a good time. We're going to Tahiti next time.

Speaker 13 (35:17):
Okay, Oh man, I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
It's gonna be awesome. Have a great day.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
One Nita my check out the Minnesota Goodbye and one
Nita's ranch. She does a weekly rant and this one
is about people. I don't want to spoil it for you,
but it was my favorite one she's ever done. Check
out the Minnesota Goodbye. It's our after the show podcast.
Just go on the iHeart app. And Search Minnesota. Goodbye,
A couple more on no phone screen or Friday. The
phones are burning up, Katie WB you're on the radio.

(35:44):
What's your name?

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Hi?

Speaker 13 (35:46):
Many Miss Jassaka, what's up Jess?

Speaker 16 (35:49):
Hi?

Speaker 15 (35:50):
So, I just wanted to ask a question because I
have a two year old and a four year old,
and whenever we go to indoor playground or outside, we
always have some kid that might be bullying my kids.

Speaker 16 (36:03):
Or hitting them, and I'm not sure how to handle it.

Speaker 14 (36:06):
My mama bear comes out and I want.

Speaker 15 (36:08):
To fix it, but I wanted to see what the
appropriate things to do.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
I don't There's no parents on the show except me,
and we really never had too big of an issue.
How old are your kids?

Speaker 16 (36:22):
Two and four?

Speaker 3 (36:23):
Two and four?

Speaker 2 (36:24):
I think at that at that age you get to
intervene because they're babies. I mean, they don't think so,
but they're babies. I think you get to intervene and
take your kid out of that situation and be the
mama bear because you are the protector at that age.
If there's seven or eight, you know what, I don't know,
then it might be a little bit different story. But
in two and four, I think you get to jump

(36:44):
in the middle and say hey, no, And if the
other parent gets involved, then you'd be like, no, your
kid was like, you know, throwing dirt at my kid.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
Yeah, teach your kid to be a better person, period, because.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
I will say, like, I was bullied a lot when
I was a kid, but my mom probably didn't like
teach me how to you know, address it until I
was like an older kid. So I agree with Dave
that they're babies, so like, get in there, get your
foot in there, move it all around.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
The best advice that I had for bullies, like in
junior high or high school. And this is terrible advice,
and some teacher principal is gonna get mad at me,
and I don't care. The first time you fight back
with a bully and punch him in the face, they
leave you alone.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
They just do.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
That's what I learned every time that like three or
four times that a kid would bully me. I've told
you the story a million times about the kid who
used to make fun of my bad skin and I
punched him in the mouth and he had braces and
he started to bleed profusely and he started to cry,
and he goes, this is tenth or eleventh grade.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
He goes, Dude, I'm supposed to hit a kid with braces.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Well, I just did, and I curled my fist up
and I said, you can only take so much s.
And let me tell you, that kid never bothered me
again ever. Were you're the only person he bullied or
was it like a situation, No, he was. It was
the weird situation vaunt where he wanted to be in
our friend group. He was kind of a tertiary friend,

(38:02):
so he was trying to impress the other kids by
kind of chasing me out of the friend group.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
So I wasn't going to have that if he was
the school bully.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
When you finally punch him out, I just imagine like
a movie, everyone's like Dave, Dave, and they put you
up on their shoulders.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
They just had a parade, Dave bully.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Good luck with that. Yeah all right, Katie, but be
one more, no phone screen for Friday. What's your name?
You're on the radio? Uh huh, Okay, this one's been
ringing a really long time. Let's do a couple of more, Katie.
Would be you're on the radio, what is your name?

Speaker 3 (38:34):
Morning?

Speaker 13 (38:35):
It's Matthew Monto solo.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
Hor are you guys?

Speaker 7 (38:36):
Matt?

Speaker 4 (38:37):
What's going on?

Speaker 12 (38:38):
So?

Speaker 13 (38:38):
This one's this one's for Bailey. Bailey, you kind of
took me through like my nineties early.

Speaker 7 (38:43):
Two thousands with your boss and accent.

Speaker 13 (38:45):
If you ever need to have a second skit, you
could totally.

Speaker 14 (38:49):
Pull off Jane's from Friends.

Speaker 4 (38:50):
I've had that.

Speaker 13 (38:51):
Oh my god, oh my god.

Speaker 4 (38:54):
I've had that a lot. Thank you so much. I
keep pitching it every week and Dave never likes it.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
Still don't.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
Why not a good one?

Speaker 3 (39:02):
My bit for Bailey is called the Quiet Game.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
What's the Quiet?

Speaker 3 (39:06):
That's where we see how long Bailey can.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
Be quiet always? That doesn't sound fun? Thanks Matt from Monticello.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
Goodbye Matt, Katie w B. Thanks for waiting so long.
You're finally on the radio. What's your name?

Speaker 13 (39:20):
My name is?

Speaker 3 (39:21):
What's up? What's up?

Speaker 13 (39:24):
I just want to say that I really feel like
Bailey and Jenny to do a segment on like a
modern day version of the Golden Girls and Laverne and Shirley.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
Oh, Laverne and Shirley. You guys are gonna have to
explain those things to me because I don't know that
I know what that means. Yeah, I don't know what.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
Lavernon Shirley was a show from the seventies.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Yeah, it was two girls that lived together and they
were always trying to, like, you know, meet men and
date and that type of thing.

Speaker 4 (39:51):
What would the segment be like Stacy the Golden Girls? Okay, okay,
the modern dy version of the goolden Girl. So we
would just chat about it like a chat about stuff. Okay,
all right, do that sounds good? Jenny? We can zip
it over there.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
Yeah, I'm fine, No, give me a break, I'll take it,
all right, Katie. Last phone call, no phone screen or Friday.

Speaker 14 (40:12):
What is your name, Pamela?

Speaker 3 (40:15):
What's up, Pamela.

Speaker 14 (40:17):
I'm just calling to say sorry to Jenny's I feel
so bad. I've been listening to this for a long time,
but she made me cry today, so I just wanted
to say sorry to.

Speaker 4 (40:29):
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 5 (40:30):
That's very kind, and I'm sorry for anyone I've made
cry today. I am the same person and if I
hear someone crying, I will start crying.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
I missed it. What happened?

Speaker 9 (40:40):
Like?
