Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, we have someone on the phone.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
We got to get to She had texted in and
I was like, hey, can we call you and talk
to you because you made a bit of a bold
statement on texting. And so we have Jenna on the
phone right now, and Jenna, you have a little bit
of a message for Vaughnt.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (00:16):
I just think mostly that big rings that don't sparkle
are hideous. And I heard or that Vont might be
proposing to Alyssa soon, and I just wanted to say
that please don't get her just a big ring, because
it's not nice, Like so many people just get rings

(00:38):
that are big but they don't actually sparkle. And I
don't even care if it's five kids. If it doesn't sparkle,
it's a piece of junk.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Okay, Okay, this is like out of love Field here,
So you're basically saying, like, you know, von has mentioned
recently that he's been kind of talking to Alyssa. You
guys talk about your future together and getting an engaged
in stuff, and you know, you guys talk about these things.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
You're not quite.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Ready for that yet, but you are looking in the
near like year or.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
So to maybe get engaged.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yes, so you're you know, you haven't brought up much
about rings specifically yet. But Jenny, you're saying that it
doesn't matter how big it is. It really matters if
it's like shiny.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
Yeah, yeah, if it doesn't sparkle, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
If it's big. How do you how can you tell
or what's.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Because I know nothing about rings.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I do think that there are.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Yeah, I was gonna say, Jenna, do you have experience
with this yourself, maybe you can explain it.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (01:41):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
So I have a really good friend of mine recently
got engaged, and everyone's doing and awe at her gigantic rings.
But then it looks so cheap because like you can
tell that the cut in the quality of your garbage,
and it's just big. No, like it doesn't sparkle.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
It's not nice.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
See, I've seen people with rings like this, and like
I said, I know nothing about like what the cut
or the how many carrots? I know none of that means.
But I've seen people with big old rings. I just
thought it meant like if it was big, that it
meant it was like super sparkly, that there were hell
of diamonds in it.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Oh no, that's not.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Really not true.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
No, you have got to like look into the cut
and quality of the ring in order for it to
be like sparkly. And so you could get a ring
and that's two thousand dollars, that is one carrot, and
it well, I don't know, listen, I don't know cost things,
but let's just say a two thousand dollars ring. It's
one carrot and it's very sparkly. And then you could

(02:40):
get a thousand dollars ring that's also one carrot, but
the quality has clearly gone down.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
If it's half the price, and it's probably.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Not gonna shine as much, it's going to look a
little bit cheaper. I definitely like, I feel like this
is kind of something that happens when people are a
little bit younger, and you are pretty young. Yeah, still,
so when you're like twenty four to twenty five, you're
getting engaged.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
You're just like, I want a big ring.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
And then you see rings later in life that people
get and you can tell that the quality of the
big ring they got when they were twenty five is
not really the same as someone who got maybe a
little bit of a smaller ring later in life, but
it probably costs more money.

Speaker 6 (03:17):
So I this is because I don't know anything about
rings either, But like, is this like if you have
a diamond and then it's like, you know, a square
or one of them like rectangle cuts. I think that's
called like radiant cut, and it's like flat on top
versus a diamond that has like multiple faces, like you know,
it's like cut in a bunch of different ways. I
can only assume that the one that has multiple faces

(03:39):
is more sparkly.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Is that the cut or No, I'm not.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
A diving person, so you're probably asking the wrong person.
I'm sure someone untexting could probably answer. But there are
quite a few texts coming in, and someone said this
ring thing is very true. My ring is small, but
it's super spark the other as someone else said, the
three seeds of diamonds cut color and clarity. So you

(04:08):
don't see carrot size in the three seeds. You see
cut color and clarity. And I mean there's different levels
of diamonds people are saying as well. But basically Jenna
called into televant, don't get alyssa a ring that's just big,
because you know, she wants to show off this big rock.
Get her one that's of quality size, and maybe you'll
need to go down a little bit then, or sorry,

(04:30):
of quality cut, and then you'll need to go down
a little bit in size because you can't exactly afford
that huge ring and also get the quality and cut and.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Stuff of it.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Well, I'm looking at the text message. It says, this
is the craziest take I've ever heard. Does that mean
if it was a ten dollars ring that sparkles, it's fine?
And that's kind of the question I had, not being rude,
just being naive, I guess, like not knowing.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I mean, that's what you're saying, kind of.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
An essence Jenna.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
So this is this person said, this is the craziest
thing I've heard. Does that mean if I it was
a ten dollars ring that sparkles, it's fine.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
I don't think that's what Jenna saying.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I think what Jenna's saying is that you can clearly
tell a difference between something that's of quality that shines
versus something that is less quality and doesn't shine.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
But it might be big.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
Exactly, yes, exactly, Just don't get it. Just please just
get some in quality. Ten dollars is probably not quality.
But I don't know if you can even get an
appraisal for a ten dollar ring, but I would definitely
get one that is from a jeweler.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Can I ask Jenna or Bailey or Jenny are you listening?

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Would you say something if your ring was like big
but not shiny or just not particularly the ring that
you wanted? Because that's a problem I think I've thought
about every now and then when I think about proposing
to Alyssa, is like finding out the ring that she
wants without obviously making it obvious. So if I got
you a ring that you didn't want, would you say something.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
To me.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
If it was just big and not of quality? I
mean probably yeah, I would say something, it needs to
be pretty and sparkle.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Jenny Bailey, Um, yeah, I mean I would definitely say
something if I didn't like my ring. I don't think
that I would ever end up probably being with someone
they don't know me very well if they didn't somehow
find out, Yeah, figure out what I like ahead it.

Speaker 6 (06:19):
Does she have a Pinterest board because you could check
out her wedding.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
It's like the one thing that women still use Pinterest
the most wedding board.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
Yeah, we're getting a lot of text messages apparently when
it's like the faces that I was talking about is
they're called facets, and the you want something that's multi
faceted a diamond, And apparently emerald cut is the like
least complex cut of a diamond and will have less scintillation.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
That sounds kind of sexy. Someone else said they totally
agree with the collar. Also, lab grown diamonds are still diamonds.
You don't need a natural one. Someone else said, my
rings isn't huge, but it's a good size and it's
so sparkly, good quality.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
People compliment it all the time. Awesome.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
And this person says, some jewelers give you a window
where you can trade it for something else if she
isn't in love with it.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
That's cool, Okay, nice. Yeah, we do have Andy on
the phone. Andy, you apparently have some ring buying tips
for us.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
What do you got, Andy?

Speaker 7 (07:20):
So when I got engaged, I went back to the
jewelry store four or five times just to compair a
couple of different diamonds I had n't set aside because
I just wanted to keep looking at him. I'm the
guy looking through the little eyepiece, and I took my
price range, and I found three different rings that or
three different diamonds that were kind of all around the
same price, but one of them could have been a

(07:40):
little bit bigger, but the quality was a little bit better.
One of them was a little bit smaller, and the
quality was way better and the clarity was way better.
So I decided to kind of take my price and
meet in the middle and find one that I found
that was all equally quality and clear with less cracks
or blemishes. I guess I would call it. And then

(08:02):
fast forward about two years later, I was able to
get one of the lab grown diamonds and upgrade to
an actual bigger diamond for the same price.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Oh very nice.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Well, I'm going to take Adye with me whenever I go.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
An show you.

Speaker 6 (08:16):
Actually, he seems like he knows a lot of stuff
about it, more than.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
You, more than I do.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
So, Andy, are you married now or you're engaged? Andy?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
There, I think we're rating some connection issues, But Darren,
I want to ask him more questions and see what
is Beyonce thought.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
A lot of people are saying, though, if you take
a Lissa wedding ring shopping to get an idea of
what she wants, but then just like, don't tell her
like this is the one I'm gonna get you. I
want to say one singular thing though, that I've noticed
on the millions and billions of people that I'm on
Facebook with or are like, I'm engaged, here's my hand,
whoever picked out their ring didn't actually like figure out

(08:55):
how big their finger was, because I've seen so many
women's hands with their engagement ring that is fighting for
its life on their because it's so tight and so
as that's my advice to you.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
Vant.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Yes, the diamond probably cut, color clarity, that is important,
but the ring size, the actual fit, is so important,
so that in her pictures she doesn't look like she's
got like a sausage with a ring on it, because gosh,
oh that oh. I always feel so bad for these
girls with their hands that their ring is just too small.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Yeah, Jenny, Andi's back on the phone. Oh you can
ask them.

Speaker 7 (09:31):
Okay, well, I'm married, but I was very particular on
what I liked and what I chose for her. I
know a lot of women always wanted this big, extravagant diamond,
and I think that's kind of how the conversation started.
But I chose something that I would be proud of
what I got her based on what I was actually

(09:52):
liking what I'm giving her for such a special occasion.
But like I was saying, I upgraded to a lab
grown one, it's the same thing.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
It's just in a lab Did you ask her what
she wanted?

Speaker 7 (10:03):
I just knew the cut. I knew she wanted a
princess cut. But I mean from there, I just I
just went crazy and kind of chose what I thought
was the best one for what I'm buying her, not
just some big old diamond that wasn't even gonna shine.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Or yeah, okay, got it. Well, thanks Andy for colling
us back.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
I appreciate it. There's so many, so many coming right now.
You can take that. So I think like.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Jenna kind of started the pot a little bit with
her bold statement. But I mean a lot of people
agree that it is important to be cognizant of the
cut and the clarity and stuff and not just wanting
to get a huge carriage, because that doesn't always mean
like the shiny, sparkly, beautiful ring.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Jenny fairly, do you think we'll ever get diamond rings, Jenny.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
No, Oh, bigger isn't always better, is the more of
this story.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Bigger is always been neither of us ever, you know,
I'm just kidda.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Guess we will. We will get our diamond rings someday,
buy them for ourselves. Yes, we will. We'll get them
some day.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
But if you ever have a random, bold statement you
want to make yourself, you've always truck us in and
we'll give you a call. Just so you know, we'll
probably call you out of nowhere at seven in the morning, ye,
or you can always email us Ryan Show at katiewb
dot com. All right, coming up next, like sister the
pot every single day, So we're gonna have on to
say something crazy that fires you up.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
On katiewv B today, Brian in the Morning Show. Hello,
good morning. I'm Jenny.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
I am an or original original, I'm originally that's the
word I was looking for from Son de Lac, Wisconsin.
And I've lived up in the cities. Now, at what
point do I get to call the city is my
home because I've been here fifteen years.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Yes, I think that's good.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
So this is my home now and you can't get
rid of me. I'm here for good. No, I'm just kidding,
but I went to the uf M, so I stuck
around ever since and now I work on the Dave
Ryan Show and for fun, I like to do house projects.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
That's my new thing.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
I'm the total millennial who used to party all the
time and now she likes to do DIY projects around
the house.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Where can we see those? You can see it on
my Instagram if you want.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
At Jenny and katwb I'm gonna put together what I
just did of my kitchen in the next couple days
because I've just spin a shop and I'm super happy
with how it turned out.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Billy, tell us about yourself.

Speaker 7 (12:20):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
My name is Bailey.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
I live in Uptown Minneapolis and I like long walks
through expensive neighborhoods. I work here on the Dave run
In the Morning Show, and I also coach a high
school speech and debate team. I have a cat. His
name is Cap. He's named after my friend Katie Cap.
Shout out Katie Cap. You can follow me also on Instagram,
and please do at baileyon air. I do think I'm

(12:45):
going to I don't necessarily have house projects like Jenny,
but I think starting this week I'm going to start
trying on everything that I own in terms of clothes
so I can determine what I need to get rid of.
So I think I will be documenting that entire thing
on my Instagram at Bailey on it, and I'll be
like today, we're gonna try on all of my pants.
So if you want to see all of my pants,

(13:05):
or all of my winter dresses or all of my
summer dresses, etc. I have a lot of clothes. I
have a problem, and I'm not proud. Fine, fun, tell
us about yourself. Hi, my name is von Ttavious Carl Leak,
my actual name. It's all my diploma, twenty three years old.
I've lived in Minnesota for like two years now, so
I'm nowhere near the threshold to say that I live

(13:26):
in the city. Y.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
No, not yet. We got twelve more years on it.
I love cooking.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
My girlfriend and I love cooking, specifically Puerto Rican food.
But you know, we don't limit ourselves because the sky's
the limit. I don't eat greens, nothing green, and I
don't care how old I get, I will forever say
I don't eat green things that includes kale, macha, lettuce, celery,
gross I've opened my horizons to watching horror movies. I
was never a horror movie person, and now I realize

(13:52):
that they're not really scary. So if you have any
horror movie rex beginner or like intermediate level, text me
at five or three ninety two one. See my Journey
of life on Instagram at vant leak the Village. Used
to watch The Village and go follow us the show
on Instagram at Dave Ryan Show. The video that we
posted yesterday probably our best video we did on Tuesday,
May twenty seventh, the best video.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
It's pretty good. I like it a lot.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
If you ever wanted to see us as babies, go
see it there.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Yeah, all right, well we're gonna get into Vonsters the pot.
Bond does this every single day where he says something
that his twenty three year old brain thinks is right
but we all know is usually wrong.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Bob, what are you starting the pot of today?

Speaker 4 (14:30):
Well, I want to talk about aquariums and how they
are overrated.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Aquarium is not a good date.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
It's not a good just like, oh I want to
go to an aquarium, Like, it's just not fun.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
It's like mini golf. Mini golf is also not a
fun date.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
An aquarium's not a fun date.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Money.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
You could have more fun playing actual golf than you
can an aquarium, because what are you doing. It's just
like it's a sea animal museum. You're just walking around like,
oh look, okay, next, oh look.

Speaker 6 (14:55):
Yeah. It's a great date vat because not only do
you get to see a bunch of cool fish and
you get to be like, who check out that shark whoo.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
That kind of stuff.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
Maybe they have, you know, those like touching pools where
you can touch something squishy that's fun, and then you'll
be like, oh here, let me take your hand, touch
this weird thing, and then we're both touching a weird thing.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
And then you could do that without going to the aquarium.

Speaker 7 (15:20):
Girl.

Speaker 6 (15:22):
Main point about how great an aquarium is the lighting.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
The lighting is perfect.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
You're gonna look amazing in an aquarium because you've got
that soft blue glow.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
No, No, it's a great it's a great date aquarium.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
It is boring.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Well, I mean they're not.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Exactly yeah, I mean a zoo's not exactly that exciting either.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
I feel like, but I feel like.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
At a zoo you could do a little bit more
like you can feed some zoo animals, and you can
like pet I don't know a pig, or ride a horse,
and even in that like that's some people can still
argue that's blond.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
What kind of zoo are you going to.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Something?

Speaker 6 (16:00):
Okay, okay, you're going on to a petting zoo on
a date. If I was picked up for a date
and he's like, guess where we're going to the zoo
and it turned out to be a petting zoo, I'm
walking home. I'm walking home because I don't want to
watch sad little animals walk around in a pen. And
you'd be like, get on this pony, get out, get
out of here. I'm walking home.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
And you think an aquarium is even more fun?

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Would you get I feel like for a date, you
have to be going to do an activity, not just
walking around like.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Oh, look at the seahorse, Oh look at those.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
But however, you're on a date where you want to
be able to be having conversations with a person.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
So it is the perfect.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Thing where you're doing something that's not so consuming that
you can't have a conversation still with.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
The person you're on a date. So aquariums actually seem
like a great date. You know what, the aquarium?

Speaker 4 (16:47):
You know what else you can go look at and
then still have a conversation. On a date you can
watch paint dry, Jenny, Is that a good date?

Speaker 1 (16:52):
No, Paint's not going to be swimming.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yeah, okay, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I don't think that that's a good equivalent to compare
it to. But I would disagree with you on this one.
I think an aquarium date would be pretty fun.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
I think you just are are a basic AFB.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
That's what you are.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
No, because I've went on some interesting days. I've taken
Alyssa on dates. We went roller skating, we went to
escape rooms. Those are fun.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
So you have to be doing an activity almost kind of. Yeah,
let's go through the text messages some people set up.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
It is good.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
Somebody said, uh, I used to like vomp, but he
just hated on my two faves. I'm hurt the disrespect, right,
he's another one because I said that petting zoos or
I said, I got petting zoos.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
You can pet animals Como Zoo, you can ride the camels.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
See Whyeah, I don't know if I've ever seen they
don't do those things. Oh, this is cute.

Speaker 6 (17:40):
This person said, I had my first kiss in under
the shark tunnel at the Mall of America and see life.
See an aquarium is the best place to have a kiss.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Okay, No, because it smells like fish. No it doesn't.
It doesn't in some areas. Yes it does.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
That's when the zoo smells like fish.

Speaker 6 (17:58):
I went to a wedding once at the zoo, and
I thought, oh cool, a wedding at a zoo. This
is gonna be so dope. No, it smells like animal.
It just smells like monkey. Oh it was awful anyway. No,
I think aquariums. I'm stirring the pot today by saying
aquariums are just a bad just activity, not even.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Just a date.

Speaker 6 (18:15):
Someone detects and saying going to a movie is a
far worse first date.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
You can't have conversation. Yeah, that's not a good first date.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
Definitely not a first date. But I just aquariums as
a whole. They're just boring snooze fest. You're boring snooze fest,
all right.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
Someone also texted, in unrelated I heard if you don't
eat greens, you die. Because you don't eat greens and
you don't go to the aquarium so it's not looking
good for you.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Somebody said, does New Jersey of zoo because I'm from
New Jersey. Yeah, we have, well, the Philadelphia Zoo, which
is the biggest zoo, and there you can pet animals,
you can ride the hot air balloon. There's so many
things to do, so at least it's a little bit
more adventurous.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Oh yeah, yay, this guy, I know. Fun. Well, you
did a good job.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
You did what you're supposed to do on this bit,
which is stirring the pot. You definitely did do that.
If you're wrong, yeah, even if you're wrong. But one
thing I think we can all agree on is when
you get a three dollars meal deal from Holiday Station Stores,
because it's so worth it. It's only three dollars and
you get your choice of a Johnsonville hot dog brought
or a hot snack and Freeedolay chips and a polar
pop or a coffee oh too, and only for three dollars.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Just think about that.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
So skip your aquarium admission feed and go to Holiday
Station Stores get your holiday three meal deal, and then
you guys go to a park with that.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
There's a much better way to spend that money.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
We'll picnic at the park.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
I love a hot snack. Somebody texted, what is my
girlfriend think of aquarium?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
She loves them.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
Last year when her dad visited and he took us
to the one downstairs in all of America, she was
living her best life.

Speaker 6 (19:38):
I was like, eh, good, maybe you should listen to
her period.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
All right, Thanks Bob for doing the best bit ever,
which is stirring the pod and getting people riled up.
Do you forget hurt that, like, you know, you upset
so many people that you think that the Twin Cities
might just like be like.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
Wow, I do think people hate me sometimes because when
people come up to me like the Fair or in
them All, the first thing they'll say to me is
like I said, I first starts the pot that.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
I that I don't turn right on Brandon. People be like, oh,
I was stuck behind you. Somebody wasn't turning.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
So I'm like, uh, I don't know if they're going
to try to like stab me after that.

Speaker 6 (20:12):
I don't think that they would go to that extreme,
but I mean never say never never.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
All right, thank you Vaughan for stirring the pot coming
up on. You can't make this stuff up but we're
going to chat about the average American only feels this
for nineteen days a month. So think about this. You
only feel this nineteen days a month. On a typical month,
there's thirty one days, So what do you feel the
other days? We'll get into that coming up next. All right,

(20:44):
So apparently the average American only feels fully healthy for
nineteen days a month.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
So think about it. There's about thirty thirty.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
One days in a month, and nineteen of them you
feel quote fully healthy. So this has to do with
just this doesn't really have to do like mental health
or anything like that. It's more about how your body feels,
your digestions like that. So in a typical week, you
really only feel healthy for about four of the days
and the other three you feel that's healthy, and so

(21:16):
it's they specify what people are feeling.

Speaker 6 (21:19):
Number one is fatigue, I think makes sense. Yeah, tired
all the time, I.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Think coming off a three day week, and for us,
I feel like, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
I feel more tired this week than I normally do
when I got that extra day. But maybe not because.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
We're resting too much. Yeah, probably slowed down too much.
So people struggle with fatigue about thirteen days a month.
Mood changes that's ten days per month, digestive issues nine
point eight days per month.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Man that would have gone up higher if it would.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Have asked me headaches seven and a half days per month.
And people were asked how they're feeling right now, and
only twenty eight percent felt completely healthy at the time.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
That kind of it's a little bad. Yeah, I know
you were wondering, how are you feeling? Do I feel?

Speaker 2 (22:03):
On a scale of one to ten, where's your health?
Ten being you're in good health. One you're not feeling
very healthy. Where are you at well?

Speaker 1 (22:11):
I'm gonna say a one because my neck hurts a
little bad. You're already you're at a one just because
of your neck.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
It's such a whiss.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
I turned my neck.

Speaker 6 (22:18):
I turned my head a little bit too quick this morning,
and now I got like a crik in my neck.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Welcome to your third I know it hurts, yeah, probably.

Speaker 6 (22:25):
Like a like a nine because I'm fine otherwise I
don't think I'm ill.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
But what do you feel today? One to ten?

Speaker 3 (22:32):
I feel I would say like an eight.

Speaker 4 (22:34):
You know, I grew up since like I was seven
years old, getting migraines, which is such a terrible thing
in general, but as a seven year old, because you're
so helpless, so I know how to, you know, do
certain things to control. Like there was one time I
was eating just a bad way, so I had to
like fix that and it cured the headache and kind
of just my mental like, I feel just good about myself.

(22:56):
It sucks, though, migrains Jenny, how are you feeling. I'm
scaled one to tip.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
I'm at like a four. Well, I'm on the least
healthy siety.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Yeah, because I did too much this past weekend, and
I think because of that, I caused myself to get
a little bit sick, Like I don't I do genuinely
feel like I have almost a little cold right now.
I just told Bailey and vant this that I have.
So I was out of town this past weekend and
I took the camper van out and there's.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
A heater in it.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
However, the heater it works, but it only works on
like super high heat.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
Right now, I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
So it was either eighty five or no heat at all,
and eighty five was uncomfortable. So I'm sleeping through the
night and I'm waking up in the middle of the
night freezing because I don't have the heater on. And
then I started feeling like that's sore, itchy, throw vibe.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Or whatever coming in. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Yeah, And then like, you know, I'm sleeping in a van,
so like it's a very comfy bed in the van.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
However, I was by myself, so.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
You know, you're I don't know, I guess your awareness
is up, and so you're just like you're not in the.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Comfort of your home, you're sleeping in a van.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Yeah, So I would say, I'm just not feeling the
best because I'm tired that I have a cold.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Oh buddy, I just.

Speaker 6 (24:01):
Want to buddy, Are you gonna go home and take.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
A nap today? Yes, I am.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
I just I have a few things that I have
to do today, so nap time won't come in until
probably like three pm if I have time, But.

Speaker 6 (24:12):
Make sure it does prioritize your health because Dave's on
vacation this week and want I can't.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Do it long.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Yeah you're so, yes, I'll be fine. I don't feel
like six sick. I just feel like a little bit
of a cold, you know what I mean. So all right,
that's gonna do it for You can't make this stuff up.
Coming up on Dave's Dirt vant One saw movie last night,
we're gonna talk about Leelo and Stitch. Also uh, two
reality stars.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
They've been in prison.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
They were sentenced for twelve and seven years, but they
recently got pardon.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
We're going to get into the.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Details on that one and who they are coming up
next on Dave's Dirt.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Today Ryan in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
So I just want to mention that Dave and myself
are going to be out at cub in Burnsville over
by the burns Center next Friday from one to three pm.
So this is the brand new flagship store that they
completely redid. We were out there a couple of weeks ago.
We had such a good time at so many people.
But I just want to say that we're gonna be
out there again next Friday.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
So what is the June six?

Speaker 2 (25:17):
I believe, my gosh, can't believe it's all our June six,
June already June six.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
We're gonna be there one to three.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Pm, and we would love for you to come out
and say hi if you're free. And then Bailey also
has something coming up this Friday.

Speaker 6 (25:31):
Yeah. So this Friday, I'm going to be on the
Date Night Podcast, which is just a thing that goes
on in Minneapolis at Grays in the North Loop. I
think it is a ticketed event, but if you want
to come and watch.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
It, you most certainly can.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
Where there's like essentially a bachelor and he goes on
three ten minute dates and then by the end he
chooses somebody to go on a second date with. And
I'm one of the three ten minute dates, and I
am a last minute fill in for someone who had
a scheduling conflict.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
So I'm just gonna go in for a good time.

Speaker 6 (26:01):
Not a long time probably, but yeah, if you want
to either show up, it's at Gray's in the North Loop,
or if you want to watch it, it's on Twitch
the Date Night Podcast and they're also on Instagram. I
think it's the Underscore DNP And you can check me
out there and judge me based on whatever I'm wearing.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Because hopefully it's so cute, stob, It'll be cute.

Speaker 6 (26:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
Also, this Friday, I'll be putting out an interview with
this dude, such a dope human, which sucks because I
want to meet a celebrity.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
That's just the a hole to me. But Alex Morn
was literally the kindest soul ever.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Yeah, so we we talked for like fifteen minutes before
a show. That interview be out on our YouTube channel
this Friday day, so you go find details about it
on my Instagram. I'll probably post like a little teaser
clip before the actual interview at vant leak.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Okay, love it all right?

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Coming up next, we're going to be getting into some
Daves dirt on KATIEWB.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
It's in Hollywood, Dave's Dirt on KDWB.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
All right, Dave's Dirt is brought to you by six
one two in Jerdaheimer and Lammer's Injury Law. So I
did watch the show sometimes, but I don't think Bailey
did Von.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Did you ever watch Chrisly Know's Best No? I never
heard of it, Okay.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
So basically it's a reality TV show that was on
e and it followed the life of the Chrisly family.
Will Todd and Julie Chrisly have been in prison because
they were serving for tax evasion and defrauding the banks
of thirty million dollars, and they both served two years
of their twelve and seven years sentence. However, they were

(27:33):
recently pardoned, so their daughter Savannah went on Instagram and said,
the President called me personally as I was walking into
Sam's Club and we're getting some clothes together for mom
and dad getting their room together upstairs. I'm just speechless
that they got pardoned.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
So they have been pardoned.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
The Christie's attorney released a statement saying that President Trump
recognized what we've argued from the beginning, which is that
Todd and Julie were targeted because of their conservative values
and high profile. So I don't know if you have
proof that you invaded thirty million dollars. I don't know
if that's what the issue is. But anyways, I'm not
gonna lie. Though their show is really funny. I did

(28:13):
watch it. I did enjoy it back in the day. However,
have not watched it in probably fifteen years.

Speaker 6 (28:19):
Well, speaking of back in the day, I'm always on
the train that hopes for a in Sync reunion. Yes,
and Joey Fatone has something to say about it. He
says that we're all going to have to wait a
little bit longer for an in Sync reunion because it's
not even in the works yet, and that he and
everyone else who is in in Sync haven't even talked

(28:39):
about it yet, even though I swear they're hinting at
it constantly all the time. You think like, oh, this
is the year, this is the year for the inn
Sync reunion.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
And he said that the five.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
Of us need to get together, and that day has
not even happened yet. Everybody's everywhere in the world, and
I think it's more important to get everybody in person
as opposed to just getting on a chat or a
phone call, which I see. I understand. I'm going to
blame Justin Timberlake. It's your fault, Justin. I want an
InSync reunion. I've gone to three InSync concerts in my

(29:11):
young child life, and if they reunioned. If they reunioned,
me and my sister would go cuckoo bananas over it.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Was it Backstreet Boys or Instinct that was your first concert?
Spice Girls with Spice Girls, That's what it was. Yeah,
you got to go to so many cool kinds. I
won't go to anything.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
I know. My mom was really nice to us in
that sense there, I mean in all the senses, but yeah,
I went to Spice Girls. I've gone to Ricky Martin.
I saw in sync three times. Town, I saw twice.
Oh my gosh, o Town, oh Town, And I think
I won Otown tickets on KATIEWB, which is wild.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
So anyway, insanc funny.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
Maybe think about a reunion signed Bailey, Thank you Bailey J.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Bailey J.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
This has been in the news for a little while now,
but Southwest Airlines is going to start charging for bag
basically used to get two free checked bags anytime that
you flew with Southwest, and now here's some people in
an airport reacting to the new fees.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
Now, I'm used to paying for the forty five dollars for.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
The bags, so it won't make any difference to me as.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Someone who finds and has to check bags.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
I guess that will in fact home I think about
choosing Southwest or other airlines.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
They've got to do what they're gonna do.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
I'm not worried about.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Okay, So some people are upset.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Some people are like, well, we pay for bag fees
everywhere else, but I think the Southwest fares were a
little bit more expensive to compensate for the lack of
bag fees.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
I don't know if that's true, but I was gonna
say that has to be because what.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Yeah, so that's why. And then I also think that
they might be changing. I have to google this, but
I think they might be changing how they do their seating.
So you get placed in a group and then you
just pick your seat.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Right, Well, isn't Southwest always been picked your seat?

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Yeah, but I think that might be changing oh as well,
but maybe not.

Speaker 6 (30:58):
I'm honestly the one the one time that I've flown Southwest,
it was to like a big National History Day tournament
and you pick your seat, and I sat next to
a kid who talked about calculus the entire time, So
three hours of just like, let me explain calculus to you.
Oh my gosh. It was awful. And I wish I
had an assigned seats so I.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Didn't have to say, well, kid, good news is if
you ever do fly Southwest again, they are phasing out
their open seating policy. They begin a signing seats in
early twenty twenty six, so this is still a while,
but that yeah, I was very confused because I've only
flown Southwest in the last couple of years. I was
so confused when they're like, yeah, get in your group
and then you.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Just choose yours somewhere. Yeah, I was like, what.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Dave always flies southwest, so he is very used to that.
But for me, there's a new TikTok trend called thank
you text.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Let's hear about it.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
No, when someone texts you right after you get home
from hanging out with them and they say like, I
had a great time, so nice to see you.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
What a gift from God. I don't even have to
have anxiety and panic for the next five hours. Abot,
I messed up.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
I always have certain friends who are like that. So
my friend if anytime I hang out with her, she
was like, it was so fun spending time together, and
she sends me like a long text. And my cousin
that used to live here in the city is we
would go on runs and she was like, Jenny, great
to see you, Like I'm so excited for your future,
like you know, you talk about what's happening in life whatever,
and so those people. I want to be that person,

(32:22):
but I hate texting.

Speaker 6 (32:23):
Yeah, I'm the person who just says, can you text
me when you get home? Yeah, I'm that person.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Yes, And I'm like that too in terms with safety,
But I'm not the person who's reaching out, like being like,
oh my gosh, it was so good to see you, like,
have a great rest of your day.

Speaker 6 (32:37):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
I did have a friend over the weekend.

Speaker 6 (32:39):
She texted me and she was like, hey, just wanted
to reach out really quick, saying that I've been thinking
about you a lot this weekend and I love and
miss you. And I was like, that's the nicest thing
that's anyone I've ever done for me, So honestly, hey,
maybe everybody challenged themselves to text one friend just saying Hey,
I'm thinking about you and I hope you're doing well.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
Kisses, love, love, all that kind of moot.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
Cheese, Yeah, I guess it's nice.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Last night I went to go see Lelo and Stitch
and it's the new live action once so I was
a bit like, we'll see okay, is.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
That your phone? I'm sorry, Oh my.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
God, in my laptop hello. Oh yeah, sorry.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
I was going to see Lelo and Stitch, great ten
out of ten movie. I was worried because it was
a live action and people have fifty to fifty feelings
about the live actions. I think the person that played
Lelo the little girl, she was phenomenal. I think the
girl that played Naughty was phenomenal. And the way that
they're making uh like I don't know, just the characters
in the live action, like obviously Stitch isn't real, but

(33:37):
like they it looks so good. Yeah, Like even in
Lion King, the fact that they had the lines with
facial expressions so good.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
The animation was it was dope.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
It's not animation. I don't know what that word is,
but yeah, yeah CG. I think yeah, CGI, the CGI
is so good computer animation. Yeah, neat.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
I'll probably see it eventually.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Maybe you need to go see it. It's definitely good.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
I mean, I don't know what it's being rated on
Rotten Tomatoes, but I've heard only good things from people
who have seen it.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
I heard that it made more in its opening weekend
than the original movie made, and its entire box office
round really well, it's really good.

Speaker 6 (34:08):
I feel like Leylo and Stitch was kind of like
a sleeper and then people got really into Stitch and
cause I if you didn't kN I used to work
at Disney World like twelve years ago, and the Stitch
fandom is insane. Yeah, so huge, but it's kind of
like a like a cult following kind of like the
Goofy movie, Like not everybody loves the Goofy movie, but.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
The people who love it really do love it.

Speaker 6 (34:31):
And same thing with Leelo and Stitch and people love Stitch.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Yeah, yeah, I love a good times. All Right, that's
going to do it for daysert for right now. Coming
up on the day Ride in the Morning show, we're
gonna get into a little bit of group therapy.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
So this girl's dating a guy.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
They've been together for like six months, and he really
checks every single box that she is hoping for except
for one that's pretty important in a relationship. So she's
trying to figure out is he going to change or
does she need to just give up on this relationship
and Chap we'll get into that coming up next on
group therapy.
