Speaker 2 (02:59):

Speaker 1 (03:00):
You literally said something something. This is to the words karaoke.

giving you that.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
I'm sorry, I'm crazy.

Speaker 7 (03:10):

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Okay, I'm keeping an interesting right now.

Speaker 7 (03:21):

Speaker 5 (03:22):
We're literally seconds away from your next keyword for a

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Not give you tho tickets away in just a second.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
All right, final round. It's tied three to three. This

Speaker 6 (03:38):
Pretty. I feel pretty, so pretty.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I feel pretty and witty and gay, and I pity
you can.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Sorry, good job.

Speaker 7 (03:50):
Which ones are show tunes and which ones are regular songs?

Speaker 3 (03:52):
I just know anytime I think of a show tune
in my head, I think pick something else, and then
I thought I have nothing else.

Speaker 7 (04:00):
So that's what I pay West Side Story. It's great,
love it.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Okay, you gotta get this one, and then we'll go
to a tiebreaker if you do. Okay, here we go.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Gotta gotta be gotta nothing.

Speaker 7 (04:20):
I gotta feeling my.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Gosh, man, an easy one for you.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
I'm sorry, does it matter?

Speaker 7 (04:28):
Robbed the points anyway, Jennifer, whatever, All right?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I have to be strict sometimes. Okay, justice, That's all
I gotta say. They used to call me headmaster Jenny
on this show.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
Is that what they used to call you?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Seriously, they did. They called me headmaster Jenny and then
that one away. So okay, enough of that. Congratulations Bailey one.
Today you are the winner. Don't worry.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Next week you'll play Dave and you'll probably beat him. Okay, okay,
all right, we're gonna give you those tickets for two
for Tuesday, it's Halsey in the weekend. Halsey's gonna be
at the Summerset Amphitheater and the weekend's gonna be at
us Bay State. We're gonna make it easy this time.
It's six five one nine eight nine katw B. That's
our phone number. What do you do? You dial it,
you call and if you're calling number ten, you're gonna

(05:09):
win the tickets to see both Halsey.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
And the weekend. So it's number ten. I know it'sn't
an easy Bailey.

Speaker 7 (05:16):
I could play that.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Yes, you have fingers, you can dial it six nine
katiew B and then we'll get caller at number ten.
All right, and we're gonna jump right into a war
of the roses. This is a classic War of the
roses where he boops his bands. Yes, you heard that correctly,
Hit boops his bands.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Why do people want to hear their drama on War
of the Roses?

Speaker 2 (05:37):
We have no idea, but boy are we glad they do.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
War of the Roses starts right now. I'm KTWB.

Speaker 8 (05:45):
All right, here we go with War of the Roses.
It's an engaged couple. So sometimes if we do an
engaged couple, you really hope it works out because you
don't want something ugly to happen. You never know what's
going to happen on War of the Roses, even though
you can kind of predict.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Sometimes.

Speaker 8 (05:59):
Let's talk to Callie and find out what's going on
with Daniel and why you're here on KDEWB.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
What's up?

Speaker 9 (06:06):
CALLI okay, hey, not not super optimistic about the situation. Basically,
Daniel is we've been together for about five years. Uh,
wedding is next fall. He's an avid runner. He runs,

(06:26):
it doesn't matter rain shis know. He's like the postal
service and he's training right now for Grandma's And a
couple of weeks back, he came back from his training
and rushed into the house and went straight to the
bathroom and I was like, you know, babe, what's up, Like,
are you okay? He's like, don't ask, and so at
that point I was like, well, you have to tell me.

Speaker 8 (06:45):
And because if he says if he runs, because you
get as a runner, you do. If you're out for
a run, you come in, you're sweaty, but your partner
knows and you don't run right for the shower. So
he rouses suspicion when you say, what do you do?
What are you doing? And he's like, don't ask. So
did you get sprayed by a skunk?

Speaker 9 (07:04):
From what happened exactly? That's what his look made me think, like, okay,
something happened. So he tells me, He's like I crapped
my pants, and I'm like, uh, okay, Like I mean,
it happens. I know what happens to runners quite frequently.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
It actually does.

Speaker 8 (07:21):
Yeah, when they're doing a distance ron and their belly
gets it churning and you don't want to stop and
you're four miles from home.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
It does happen.

Speaker 9 (07:29):
Not rhyme, I tell you, yeah, not a big deal.
I kind of find it funny, like I suckle. Whatever.
Life goes on For the following two weekends that he
did the same kind of training, same exact thing happens,
and he runs in and he's like, oh, I crap
my pants and I'm just like, oh, what's going on
with your bows? Dude, Like this cannot be happening. Something

(07:50):
is wrong. Yes, And so then I was like, Oh,
are you sure you didn't just cheat on me in
the car or something, And the way he looked at me,
it was just I feel like this moment where I
think back on it, I'm like, Okay, that was weird.
And then he said, oh, how did you know, and
then kind of like laughed it off like it was
a joke, but it was the timing was not appropriate.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Timing was off.

Speaker 8 (08:13):
So if he really did crap his pants three times,
and then you're like, what are you doing to it?
So when you said make out in the car, I
think what you're referring to is he met somebody in
the car or what do you mean made out in
the car?

Speaker 9 (08:28):
Well, like hooked up with somebody in the car. Okay,
you know, like that's that's kind of like the joke
that I was saying. And then the way he reacted
kind of fueled that suspicion. And I was just saying
it as a joke because I thought it was very
suspicious that he keeps crapping in his pants as a
you know, thirty year old man.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Well, let me tell you, the older you get, the
looser your bowels or that I'm just saying. I get older.

Speaker 8 (08:54):
You get to be about thirty two thirty three, you
can't even like lean over to pick up your cup
of coffee without pooping your.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
So you becomes multiple centimeters dilated like a no.

Speaker 8 (09:06):
It's like your o rings don't close anymore. So you
got that little like you know, that stopper, you know
what I mean, like a little stopper. The stopper comes out,
so you lean over to tie your shoe. Next thing,
you know, you got to run to the shower and
change your pants and take a shower. A thirty two okay,
all right, all right, but let's get serious again. So

(09:28):
you you, I mean, you do have some real suspicion
and this is your fiance. So as much as we're
laughing about it, it's kind of serious.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
But I would believe the poop story.

Speaker 8 (09:37):
Yeah, but that's when you said, I can't necessarily believe
the poop story because something else happened.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
What happened then?

Speaker 9 (09:45):
Right this past weekend, I was visiting my mom in
Grand Forks and he posted a picture of himself showing
off his beard that he just grew. And on his
Sapple Watch, I could read a message that had been
sent and it says one of I zoomed in and
could clearly read wanna bang as a sent message, and

(10:05):
I'm just like, like, what is going on? Like this?
This can't be two.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
Extremely really weird.

Speaker 9 (10:13):
Things happening all at the same time. And it's just
red flags. Red flags. And that's when I message you guys,
just think if you can help me out.

Speaker 8 (10:22):
So when you send a text on an Apple Watch,
it shows the name at the top of the Apple
Watch screen.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
What was the name?

Speaker 9 (10:29):
It wasn't a name, It was a phone number only.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Okay, so did you call the phone number?

Speaker 9 (10:34):
I couldn't because all it was was the area code
and then the first three digits, but the last four
were cut them and like what you know what I mean, like.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Who is this?

Speaker 8 (10:45):
Because you really, you really can't send a message to
anybody that says wanna bang without the rise of arousing suspicions.

Speaker 10 (10:52):
It's also just beyond suspicious that it would be a
non saved number like that to me tells you everything
you need to know, because if you were writing that,
like as a funny joke, then you would have a
funny joke with that with a friend, and a friend
you would have their number saved as their name and
your phone.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
So I don't know about Yeah, it's weird.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
All right, Well, here's what we can do.

Speaker 8 (11:12):
By the way, we do have a picture of that
Apple Watch text, okay, and we're gonna put it on
Dave Ryanshow dot com so you can take a look
at it.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
It's not good.

Speaker 8 (11:23):
I mean, you can play detective work if you want to,
but we're going to erase out the phone numbers so
people won't like start calling around.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Trying to find people.

Speaker 8 (11:31):
Okay, perfect, So go look at that on Dave Ryanshow
dot com.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
And here's what we'll do.

Speaker 8 (11:35):
We'll call Daniel in a few minutes and we'll do
with the rosesploy where we say who who do you
want to send roses to?

Speaker 4 (11:41):
And then hopefully he'll say you.

Speaker 8 (11:43):
But if he doesn't, then you've got some information, some
pretty powerful information. We'll come back with Part two of
War of the Roses next on KDWB, and now the dramatic.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
Conclusion of War of the Roses.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Well, a girl can hope one on one point three KDWB.

Speaker 8 (12:00):
We're gonna make a phone call in a second. We'll
get right to that, but let me recapplication missed it
really quickly. So a woman called in I think your
name is CALLI, and she said, something's going on with
my fiance. He's a runner, he's been training. He's one
of those people that runs like in bad weather. I
just know he's out all the time. I admire those people.
But she said, there's something weird been going on. He'll
come back from his run, and a few weeks ago

(12:21):
he went right to the shower, and usually he comes
in and doesn't run right to the shower. She's like,
what's going on with you. He's like, you don't want
to know, and she says, well, now I really want
to know. He's like, well, I was running and I
mess my pants, which does happen when you're running. It's
not a common thing, but it does happen, especially with
distance runners. So she's like, okay, funny whatever, laughs.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
It off.

Speaker 8 (12:43):
Happens again a few days later and then happens again
a few days later, and she's like, are you are
you really taking a shower because you missed your pants,
or are you meeting somebody out in the car somewhere.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
To hook up?

Speaker 9 (12:53):
Ha ha ha.

Speaker 8 (12:55):
And by his reaction, she was like, that's not how
he should reac Yeah, so then she got suspicious. She
goes out of town I think she said Grand Forest
or Fargo somewhere this past weekend, and he posted a
picture of his new beard, and he's like showing off
his beard. She looks at his Apple Watch and there's
a picture on there, or it's like a text that

(13:15):
says let's bang on his apple Watch that he had sent.
So she's like, okay, what is going on? We're gonna
make a phone call.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
I want to, by the way, not let's just have one.

Speaker 10 (13:30):
And the picture of the apple Watch is up on
Dave ryanshow dot com.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Oh, there's picture up online.

Speaker 8 (13:35):
Okay, because I know she sent it to us, So
it's now up online for everybody to see on Dave
ryanshow dot com.

Speaker 10 (13:40):
I double checked because I was panicked because while you
were out, accidentally posted someone's name on an image, and
so it is marked out the phone number.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Portion good, thank you. Let's make the phone call right now.

Speaker 8 (13:51):
Then we'll talk to Jonathan Fogel on his whole thought
on War of the Roses on KATIEWB.

Speaker 10 (13:59):
Daniel, I really want to thank you so much for
your time. We always appreciate feedback. And we're going to
send out a dozen long stay romantic roses for you,
so they'll look like they're coming directly from you. We'll
have no association with them. Who would you like to
send those roses to?

Speaker 8 (14:14):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Whant you send them to?

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Uh?

Speaker 10 (14:21):
Okay, and you can attach a card if you would like.
What would you like the card to say?

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Yeah, let's just say love whatever it is we have gone.

Speaker 10 (14:33):
I mean, this is like none of my business, but
I am bored here at work.

Speaker 6 (14:36):
What do you mean like what we have going?

Speaker 10 (14:38):
Is that like someone you're kind of seeing or is
this like you're hoping because I've been in that situation before?

Speaker 4 (14:47):
Whatever?

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Okay, Okay, I get it.

Speaker 8 (14:52):
Yeah, Okay, you know surprise if you like surprises, Daniel?

Speaker 4 (14:58):
What?

Speaker 8 (14:59):
Yeah, this is always the weird part. It's kind of
a surprise. And you know, people say they love surprises
or they don't like surprises is a surprise part, because
we're gonna turn your world all topsy turvy for a
second here, Daniel. Because we weren't really calling with a
legitimate survey to send flowers to Leanne. We were put
up to this by your girlfriend, your fiance, Calli. And

(15:23):
when I say we were put up to this, I
mean the Dave Ryan Show on KATIEWB radio. CALLI called
us and said, hey, I think Daniel's been up to something,
so we want to see who he sends roses to.
And you sent roses to lee Ane. And here's the
funny thing, like more of a surprise is Calli is
listening to the whole thing, So she heard the whole thing.

(15:45):
So if you're thinking, oh thank god, CALLI will never
find out, she already knows.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Calli are you there?

Speaker 9 (15:51):
I am yeah, So I'm not a I'm sorry. I
don't know what to say.

Speaker 10 (15:56):
Well, maybe you could start by explaining yourself. You know, Daniel,
who this person?

Speaker 4 (16:01):
Well it's it's it's okay, all right. I mean, we're
just friends.

Speaker 9 (16:05):
You can relax, just friends. Like number one, why why
would you send just friends a dozen romantic roses and
not your fiance?

Speaker 7 (16:17):
And who are you.

Speaker 9 (16:18):
Texting with the question want to bang? And three? Have
you really pooping yourself? Or are you just coming home
guilty and needing to shower right away?

Speaker 4 (16:27):
No, it's it's fine. I'm just trying to reach out.
Let me try, let me try to help you out
a little bit. Here.

Speaker 8 (16:34):
So she saw the message on your phone, on your
on your Apple watch when you took a picture of
your beard, and I'm looking at it right now too,
and it says clearly there's something that looks like a
picture or video before that. Then after that it says
want to bang? Is that was that also sent to Leanne?

Speaker 1 (16:51):
No?

Speaker 9 (16:53):
Who did you send that to?

Speaker 8 (16:55):
Oh? Well, there he goes. I think he was put
so much in a corner, with so much evidence against him.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
How are you CALLI?

Speaker 10 (17:02):
I mean, that's your fiance, that's that's I mean, that's
a shock. I mean you felt it. But I think
you always hope that you're going to be wrong when
you have a feeling like that, You know.

Speaker 9 (17:12):
Guys like I'm not like completely surprised, like things haven't
been good for us for a while, and like you
always hope that this isn't the situation, and you know,
like the relationship is going to work out and everything.
But I'm like, I'm surprised, but I'm not surprised just
because of how things have been going with us. And yeah,

(17:34):
just start over. I guess you know, like crazy ran
show one on one point.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Three, Kati w B.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
You know what time it is.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Time to get you in to see the Weekend as
well as Halsey because it is two for Tuesday. So
we are giving you a pair of tickets to both concerts.
But we are going to play a little game and
it's hosted by the one and only Von. It's about
to be cookout season, grill season, all that good stuff.
I just hosted a cookout, a Memorial Weekend cookout yesterday.

(18:08):
So we're gonna play something called are you Invited to
the Cookout? And Vant I'm gonna take you. Have you
take the lead on this one. Explain what are you invited?

Speaker 2 (18:17):
The cookout is?

Speaker 7 (18:17):
Thank you, Jenny. Are you invited to the cookout?

Speaker 5 (18:19):
Is a vont Leak created game or ask your questions
to see if you'd get invited to the cookout.

Speaker 7 (18:24):
In the words of Dave Ryan, this is not.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
The white people pick a nick, No, No, this is
the black folks function the cookout. So I'll give you
a sample question and then you will call six five
to one nine eight nine KDEWB with your answer to
see if you can get in the Halsey or the Weekend.

Speaker 7 (18:36):
All right, Jenny Bailey.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
Yeah, sample question Mama said, stop running in an in
and out of his house before you blank and I'll
give you some multiple choice. Hey, mama said, stop running
in and out of his house before you is it
a hurt yourself? B let my good air out? See
let a fly in? Or d break my screen door?

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Oh okay, I'm going to b.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
B let my good air out of your Bailey. I
guess I women support women. I'm gonna I'm gonna say
B because Jenny said B.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
Yes, Mama said stop running in and out of his
house before you let my good air out.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
You almost had me on that one because I thought
you're gonna do like like all of the above, because
I thought A was also could.

Speaker 7 (19:14):
Have been the answerted yourself. No, don't let my good
air out. That like the air conditioned air.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Yeah yeah is high.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:21):
So now you'll call and answer that same type of
question that will get you into the black folks function
six five one ninety nine kdw B.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
So we'll get you on the phone, but while grabbing
some listeners for the contest we're going to talk about
is National Sunscreen Day. Bailey and I are pretty big
advocates of wearing sunscreen only because you know, we want
to make sure that you take care of that skin.
So you're going to get into why the throng dang
hold on, I gotta I gotta move some stuff around.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Sorry, guys, you're doing a really good stay without dave around.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
Yeah, kd w B.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
So for National Sunscreen Day, there was a poll posted
online asking people if they would do this for a
stranger at the beach. And what that is is if
someone walked up to you, Bailey and was like, hey,
excuse me, do you think you could like get my
back with the sunscreen?

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Would you say yes a stranger. If it was a woman,
then yes. If it was a man, no.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
What if he was hot with a six pack?

Speaker 7 (20:25):
No, I would still feel weird.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
I don't know, but honestly, probably yes, because I would
feel so weird saying no to anybody.

Speaker 7 (20:33):
Yeah, if he walked up to me he's like, hey,
could you please get this.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
I'd be like, inside, no, but I'm like, sure, okay, Okay.

Speaker 7 (20:42):
It would be weird though.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
What if he was a bigger gentleman, hair everywhere, like
like can barely see his skin, he's so hairy, but
he still needs help with his back? Are you feeling
obligated at that point because you're in an uncomfortable situation
to say yes?

Speaker 3 (20:59):
I think regardless of who asks, it would be an
uncomfortable situation in some sense, and so I I want
to say I would say no, but I would probably
feel bad enough that I would say yes regardless. If
they were like, could you slather this all over my back?
I would be like absolutrutely not abs the fruitely not
it's not gonna happen. Yeah. But if they were like,

(21:22):
can you just get this one little like could you
put this on my tattoo that's on my shoulder, I'd
be like, sure, buddy, you go, okay, bye.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Okay, Well after checking out this pole, you would be
in the I don't know you kind of went back
and forth, but those thirty six percent of people said
that they would do it, and sixty four percent said
that they would not put sunscreen on a stranger's back
if the stranger asked the bold, bold, bold thing to
do if you got walk up to a stranger at
a beach and are like, hey, can.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
You get me whatever? Like, just think about that ahead
of time.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Think about the position you're putting that person in, especially
in Minnesota where we're too afraid to be like no,
right exactly what we.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Wouldn't ever do? That would be like sure, sure, okay.

Speaker 6 (22:04):
Eyes like yeah, that's fine.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
So anyways, all right, that's gonna do it for You
can't make this stuff up. Let's get back into are
you invited to the cookout?

Speaker 2 (22:14):
You have someone on the phone.

Speaker 7 (22:15):
Yeah, we're gonna talk to Demi.

Speaker 5 (22:16):
You see if she's gonna get invited to the cookout
aka Halsey in the Weekend.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Okay, good morning, Demie. How are you today?

Speaker 3 (22:23):
Hi?

Speaker 9 (22:23):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
Okay, Well, first, Emi, you have to answer a question
if you're invited to the cookout?

Speaker 5 (22:29):
Okay, okay, Demmy, have you ever been invited to the
cookout before?

Speaker 4 (22:34):
Demi?

Speaker 2 (22:35):
I've got the wrong button in Oka.

Speaker 7 (22:37):
Demi, can you hear me?

Speaker 9 (22:38):
Yes, I can hear you.

Speaker 7 (22:39):
Have you ever been invited to the cookout before?

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (22:42):
Oh okay, what dish did you bring?

Speaker 9 (22:45):
I just brought a bottle of tequila.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
Yeah, so far she's invited so far.

Speaker 7 (22:51):
But let's get you these Weekend and Halsey tickets.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
All right, Demi, Let's just say, my kid is nagging
me at the cookout. He wants like a Huggy's juice
and he won't stop nagging. I see to my kid,
keep it up. What should my kid do after I
say keep it up?

Speaker 6 (23:05):
Not keep it up?

Speaker 5 (23:06):
Yes, as soon as I say keep it up, stop
whatever you do and stop nagging me, stop poking me.

Speaker 7 (23:14):
Oh, Demi, you are invited to the cookout.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
I love this.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Congratulations, Demi.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
So you not only win tickets to see the Weekend,
but you're also going to be seeing Halsey. Now, I
know you're probably excited to see both of them, but
is there one that you're kind of a little bit
more excited to see.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (23:32):
I really loved the Weekend, but he was so weird
on the idol, he said.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
Demi. I am the same exact way.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
Like every once in a while they do hook us
up with tickets and the nose bleeds. Okay, so I
might ask for some nosebleed tickets to the Weekend because
I also would like to see him, but I also
am a little bit like, oh, I hope he's not
like that in real life.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
But awesome, Well, congratulations Demi. We'll get you down home.
We'll get you. I'll set up with those tickets you
can win.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Take I guess every thirty minutes two for Tuesday, happening
all day long here on Katie w B where you
win tickets to see the Weekend and tickets to see Halsey.
So keep on listening for your next chance to win.
Coming up on Dave's Dirt BoNT got to interview Alex
Warren on Friday, so we're gonna talk a little bit
about that. He's got some clips from his interview with Alex.
And then also the AMAS were last night.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Did anyone watch it? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (24:23):
No, But there were some highlights I saw on Instrumental
Boozies trending for something that we'll get into in the Dirt.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Yeah, So we'll get into some of the AM highlights
as well. As one of the big artists made out
with three different people on stage during their performance, and
I saw a clip and personally I thought it was hot,
So we'll talk about that next Sunday's Dirt.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
It is Dave's Dirt.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
And before we jump into that, I just want to
make sure we give a big shout out to our
teacher of the day.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
May is Teacher Month.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
So what we've been doing all month long, someone's nominated
a great teacher in their life. And today's teacher is
Shannon Junk and so miss Jung. She teaches first grade
at Otsego Elementary School, and Shannon Stacy nominated you. You
are a winner of one hundred dollars visa gift card
and loaves of bread thanks to Country Hearth. So shout

(25:13):
out to Country Hearth for making that happen, and thank
you to you Miss Jung for being.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
An amazing teacher.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Let's dive into the dirt first. We're going to cover
a little bit of the AMAS last night.

Speaker 11 (25:25):
Now.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
The only thing, I'll be honest because I was super
tired when I got home from I was out of
town this past weekend. I was super tired and didn't
really watch TV, just scrolled on my phone a little bit.
But I did see a video of j Low making
out with a bunch of people during her performance here's
a little clip of her performance.

Speaker 9 (25:44):
And day.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Fucking I'm on a day and.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Akay, so she made out with three of her dancers.
I think the first one was a guy and then
the other two were girls.

Speaker 11 (26:02):
I think.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
So I feel like she was trying to pull a
little bit of a Madonna.

Speaker 7 (26:05):
Yeah Madonna, Britney spears.

Speaker 6 (26:06):
She's having in the moment. Yeah, but it's been done, j.

Speaker 7 (26:09):
Lo, It's been done.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
But it's been done.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
But I'm all for it.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
I thought it was pretty hot personally, but you know.
And then Jannat Jackson performed on TV for the very
first time in seven years.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
Wow, fun were so much fun. CIRLP streams. This was
so cool.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
One of the the bigger conversation, I guess bigger moments
from last night. Billie Eilish swept the floor literally got
every category she was nominated in. She won seven awards,
but wasn't there because she was touring. She's in Europe
right now, Okay. And then the other thing, Beyonce took
home Favorite Female Country Artist and Cowboy Carter won Favorite
Country Album. And right before I think they announced it,

(27:02):
it was Shaboozy and Megamarony and Jenny of the clip
for me of Shaboozie's going viral for his reaction when
Megmaroni says this certain thing in her introduction, here's a clip.

Speaker 11 (27:12):
Untry music has been an important part of AMA history.
The very first year of this show, the award for
Favorite Male Country Artists went to the Great Charlie Pride.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
That same year Favorite Female Artists went to Lynn Anderson,
and this award went to the Carter family, who basically
invented country music.

Speaker 11 (27:30):
This year's AMA nominees in that category are very impressive.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
So Megamaroni said, the Carter is meaning Beyonce and jay
Z And she said who pretty much.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Like no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, June Carter.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
No, right, So that's why people are crazy because Shaboozie pause.

Speaker 7 (27:47):
It was like, huh oh that laugh low key missed.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
No, they're talking about the Carters that are from like.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
The nineteen twenty twentieth.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Yeah, so I was gonna say no, it is a
family from the early nineteen hundreds that had songs like
Wildwood Flower, Wabush Cannonball, Like I don't know any of
these personally, but I don't know old school, like the
old old school country.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
So no, not beyond and that's why Shaboozi.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
Then me and Shaboozi were just as confused because he
like looked at the prompter real quick and did that
little because he thought they were talking about Beyonce and
jay Z.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
All right, Oh well still, I mean, I guess we
don't know what he thinks. It'd be really nice to
get his point of view on it, be like, what
did you think she said?

Speaker 7 (28:31):
And then what do you what did you interpret it as?

Speaker 6 (28:33):
That's what I'm.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Confused about because she specifically said that same year Favorite
Female Artists went to Lynn Anderson, and this award for
Favorite Country Duo or Group went to the Carter family,
who basically invented country music. So they were talking about
the origination of the award. Sure, so I don't know
context clues alone, you should have understood that they weren't
talking about Beyonce.

Speaker 7 (28:53):
Maybe he's yon Maybe he just wasn't paying attention.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Maybe he wasn't I see.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
I personally took it as he thinks that someone else
invented country music, not the Carters. I took it as like,
there's some other artists out there that's an og that
he thought invented.

Speaker 10 (29:08):
Country music back in like the early nineteen hundreds, right.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
I don't know if that's it feels weird he thinks
about the nineteen hundreds, but like the nineteen twenties.

Speaker 5 (29:16):
So Mishaboozi and I are on the same page because
I was like, what, you're a little confused.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Okay, VN you had brought this up yesterday, but Sissa
had brought out Justin Bieber to perform Snooze at her
Grand Nationals tour. Here's a little clip of it. Okay,
well that's bad concert audio, but Justin Bieber is there.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Tell us your thoughts on it.

Speaker 5 (29:42):
A lot of people are talking about it for two reasons.
One because Bieber looks a little drugged up, which we
know he has may or may not have been battling
a lot lately. There's no confirmation, but he just kind
of looks nuts. This is big, though, that Bieber's back
on stage, because we know because of his you know, sicknesses,
that he hasn't been performing or and putting out music,
and so the fact that he's back on stage is

(30:02):
low ki a good sign. But people were really talking
because he looks all up on Sizza and like she hand,
like she goes to, I don't know, like hold his
hand and he starts kissing it kind of oh, and
it's a little bit intimate. And we all know that
he's been kind of making his wife, Hayley Beaber look
bad lately, but people are like, what's going on here.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Justin So okay, I understand like in a musical performance,
especially if it's kind of sexual, you do kind of
portray that. Because I remember at the Super Bowl Half
Him show, what was it two super bowls ago that
Ushered performed with Alicia Keys and they were all or
rubbing up on each other and I kind of was like,
I don't like this, Like Alicia's married, I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Ush's married. I can't remember.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
But anyways, I thought it was kind of weird. But
then I was like, well, it's a performance, you know,
the song is like this whatever, So I sort of
get that aspect. However, the state that Justin Bieber seems
to be in and the issues that seem to be
being speculated about him and his wife, you probably shouldn't
have been doing that.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Yeah, it seems like a weird choice.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
To make in that moment, and I like that vont
was like, I have so many feelings about Justin Bieber
at any given time, somebody has to.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
Because I love Bieber and I'm glad that he's an
advocate for how I guess child stars or I guess
child artists. You know, they get kind of corrupted this system,
how much they work when they're so young. He's big
on that with Billie Eili's like he's protective of her.
But it's just sad to see. Might I say, the
demise of Justin Bieber.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Like the downfall, the decline, the decline, Yeah, an inevitable downfall,
but we're not sure yet.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Well, moving on from that.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Britney Spears is justifying her private jet cigarette.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Now you guys maybe heard of this over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
She went and lit up a cigarette in the middle
of a flight. No matter what kind of airplane you're on,
you're not supposed to smoke. As far as I know,
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe there's some people, like some very
very wealthy people who get away with whatever. But she
went to Instagram and said, my friend put a cigarette
in my mouth and lit it up for me. I

(32:05):
was like, oh, so this is a plane where you
can smoke, and the flight crew alerted the LA authorities,
who met with Brittany, and she claimed in her post
that I thought officials greeted me as support.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
I was like, wow, I feel special.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
And she apologized for her mistake and confessed it may
have been caused because it was my first time drinking vodka.

Speaker 7 (32:25):
It's her first.

Speaker 6 (32:26):
Time drinking vodka.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
I don't know if I believe that. I already believe
that either.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
But she also said that it was kind of much
that the flight attendant reported her like, it's a little much, girl,
you're smoking on a plane.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
So we got to get to this because.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Von got to interview Alex Warren, who is one of
my new favorite artists as of recent I love him
so so much, and he was in town performing at
Uptown Theater on Friday. Vonn got a little interview with him.
Tell us about it, Von, or play with some of
your clips.

Speaker 5 (32:55):
Yeah, I asked Alex Warren because he got to be
a year married, but he's only twenty four. I thought
he was just a bit older, like twenty seven, and
he's been dating his girl, his wife cover for like
five or six years.

Speaker 7 (33:06):
So I asked him.

Speaker 5 (33:07):
I said, give me some advice for getting married as
young as you are. And here's what he said.

Speaker 12 (33:11):
I love it when my wife and I fight, like truly, and.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
She hates it.

Speaker 12 (33:14):
Why do you love start laughing and smiling when we
start fighting? And because my wife is one of those
people who doesn't want to necessarily tell you what's on
her mind. And when we get to fight, when we argue,
she's mad enough to tell me exactly how she feels, okay,
and so I know exactly what I what I can fix,
you know, And so it's so beautiful. And I think
it's so healthy to fight and have arguments because when
you do, you're able to undeniably, Like so many people

(33:37):
are scared of hurting each other's feelings and so they
kind of tip to around things.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (33:40):
Yeah, it's so beautiful the amount of communication you can
have when you fight, which is such an interesting thing.
It's like so many people dread it, and I love it.
And she gets so mad because I'm like, this is
so healthy.

Speaker 7 (33:49):
You're in the ridle of a fight. She shot a
proper point and you're just like.

Speaker 12 (33:52):
Yes, no, it's so funny. I'm like, get yeah, I'm
like point for Skryffindor.

Speaker 7 (33:57):
Which is so interesting.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Just I don't know.

Speaker 7 (33:59):
I just I've never thought like it's healthy to fight.
I've never thought that.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
I would say I agree with that to an extent.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
It sounds like they fight in a healthy way.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
So that's good if you like realize things during a fight.
But if someone's saying things in a fight and they're
being like evil about it, then that's not healthy. Like
if you're finally revealing the things that upset you, but
you're doing it in a.

Speaker 7 (34:23):
That you've been sitting on for months and months.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
I don't know, Like, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
It sounds like I said, they must fight in a
healthy way, so that makes sense for them.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (34:32):
Also, he said that one of his favorite I guess
pastimes is going into aisles at Target and buying any
type of electric vehicle. And if you've seen some of
his shows, I don't know if he did it uptown,
he rides in on like a pink pony scooter, and
so he talked about that, and this clip certifies that
me and him are besties.

Speaker 12 (34:48):
Yeah, happens every time I go to Target and we're
saying we're at Target, I'm like, okay, I'll be right back.
I want to go check out the electronics. So I'm
always looking at new stuff. I'm like, wow, that's like
the thing I always did as a kid. It's what
I do now that I have money, is I'll go
and see if there's a cool electronic I want to
buy it.

Speaker 7 (35:01):
I saw the pony outside.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
Yeah you like that?

Speaker 7 (35:03):
Yeah about that at Target?

Speaker 4 (35:04):
I too.

Speaker 12 (35:05):
But right, they're expensive.

Speaker 7 (35:08):
By the way, I can imagine. That's why I don't
have one.

Speaker 12 (35:10):
Oh my god, it is three hundred and fifty dollars
per I'll buy you a pony door. Don't play camera now, mother,
I will send you a pony.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
Well, I'm so proud of you just hearing these clips,
because you sound like you're actually paying attention to what
he's saying, whereas a lot of radio DJs are like,
how can I make this about me? Or like I
didn't pay attention to anything he's saying. I'm just going
to go to my next question.

Speaker 5 (35:33):
Yeah, I mean it's I mean, I've interviewed not as
many artists of you, but you know, I've interviewed a
couple of artists, and what makes it easier for me.
You know somebody young doing is Alex Warren's just genuinely
such a kind soul and talking about just life and.

Speaker 7 (35:45):
Not just tell me about the new song. Who do
you want to collab with?

Speaker 2 (35:47):
For sure?

Speaker 4 (35:48):
Awesome?

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Well that's going to do it for Dave's Dirt. It's
brought to you by six one two, Injured Himer and
Lammer's Injury Law. Coming up, we have your next chance
to win it tickets to see Halsey and the weekend.
It's two for Tuesday, so make sure you're here for that.
But also it's talk back Tuesday. So I want to
know what weird quirk does your pet have? For instance,
we asked us on Facebook. Jessica said, my cat will

(36:08):
grab a mouthful of food from her dish turn and
put it on the floor, then decide which pieces to eat,
leaving the rest behind. It really hurts hurt stepping on
pieces all the time. Another person said, my great Dane
mix loves car rides, but he will not get out
of the car because he's afraid of everything, so he
will only get out of the car at our house

(36:29):
or at one specific park that he likes. So leave
it on the talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app. What
weird quirk does your pet have? You Just go to
the iHeart app.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
It's free.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
You hit the red microphone button and you have thirty
seconds to record that. But keep listening because we'll have
your next chance to win tickets for two for Tuesday
