Speaker 1 (00:00):
The song is too short. It's such a good song
that I wanted to be longer. That's my current favorite
song right now. Is just looking up the chords for
it for my ukulele. So you know you might be
eating for a little treat. Just let you know. We're
talking earlier about how couples will make deals. Susan did
a big inconvenient favor. She had to make her trip
to go get something in shockapye and I said, all right,

(00:21):
I'll load and unload the dishwasher and fix the screen
that's been laying on the backyard for months, and I'll
take care of that one because she's been nagging at
me to do that one. So we made a deal.
Jenny was talking about how she would make a popsicle
deal and a popsicle you know, it's a thing that
the couples do for each other. And normally think about
woman just giving a popsicle to a guy, But a
guy can also give a popsicle to a woman, you know, sure,

(00:42):
so sometimes people trade things for a popsicle. What deal
have you made with your partner? And I'll give you
that keyword for post malone and jelly rolling just a second,
Molly down up in Ramsey. What kind of a deal
did you make? Molly, Good morning morning.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
My husband is a big NFL football guy, so we
have to order red zone for the NFL season, and
so when he orders red zone for the football season,
I always get to pick out an article of clothing,
a blanket, or a new water bottle.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Okay, that's cool. So red zone is like a subscription
to watch NFL.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Games, right, yeah, all of them, like split screens, never misplace.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Ah. I love that see, and it doesn't always have
to do with a popsicle. Sometimes it's just for like
a water bottle or new clothing. Thank you, Mollie, I
appreciate that one. We got a bunch of text messages too.
I'm not sure we have talkbacks or not. We do
have a couple of talkbacks, so we'll check and see
what have we got for text messages.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
This is anikapee from Minneapolis. She says, my deal with
my partner is that he can leave all day Sundays
during football season as long as he does the dishes
all week long.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Oh okay.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
The tex says I made a deal with my husband
that if our third child was a girl, we would
be done having kids, even though I wanted more. We
have two boys, and we didn't find out the gender
of our third until they arrived.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
And it was a girl. This one says.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
I promised my husband I would stay in the Army
National Guard until I was forty to try to get
lieutenant colonel retirement. Oh wow, even though I hit twenty
years of service at age thirty seven and could retire
then as a trade.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
He promised to give up his.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Dream of naming our son bubbafinitely worth it.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Stop there, that is so interesting, Bubba. I hope she
made lieutenant colonel. That is badass. Good for you. We
had to do the keyword really good. Gorsid pick ups
a keyword for post malone and jelly roll. We do
this every thirty minutes. It changes every thirty minutes, and
this hour's keyword is malone. I'll spell it for you
for the slow people in the back, m A lne malone.

(02:45):
But you don't need to spell it, you just need
to say it. Go on the iHeartRadio app, roll it
up the talk back feature, tap the red microphone and
then it's really easy to do. If you've never done
it before, it's really easy to do and just say
the keyword is loan and you are in for post
Belone tickets and jelly roll the big ass Stadium tours
what they're calling it at us Bank Stadium NACKX Tuesday Night.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, we've got some more about deals that you made
with your partner. This text says, my deal with my
husband is that I would grow out my hair if
he learned how to braid it.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Okay, cute, So he'd be like, Okay, I want you
to grow your hair out. Grow your hair out if
you learn how to break it all right.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
This Texas deal with my spouse.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Last night, I wanted to go to an impromptu dinner
with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. Made
the deal that if he did kid dinner and bedtime
by himself, I would do daycare drop off and pick
up the rest of the.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Week and pick up.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
And then, speaking of popsicles, this person says I tried
to make a deal for a new kitchen aid mixer
for twelve monthly popsicles.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
He did not take that deal. Well, what.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
That's a good amount.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
It's a lot.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
That's one a month. That's a popsicle a.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Month, twelve twelve monthly.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I changed my mind. Okay, now there's some understanding here.
Twelve in a month, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
You deserve a kitchen mixer pie.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
That is that is three a week. That's three popsicles
in a week. Your jaw would get sore from all
those popsicles.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
This Texas.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
When we had little babies, I would clean up poop messes.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
My husband would clean up puke messes, and that.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Was the deal. Oh, what kind of deal do you
have with your partner? And I think that you know,
it's a give and take. Relationships are always kind of
a give and take. This text says at Katie WB one.
My deal with my husband is he cleans the litter
boxes and I do the laundry. Okay, maybe he really
just hates doing laundry and she hates the litter boxes.

(04:36):
By the way, do not text the keyword in. I
probably misled you by spelling the keyword. Don't text the
keyword in. Use the talkback feature, open up the iHeart
radio app. Heck, listen all day if you can on
the iHeart radio app. Just keep it playing in the background.
It's good company. Even Seacrest is good company.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Even Seacrest.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah, and then and then fallon and colt even better
company in the afternoon. So use the talkback feature. Don't
text that one in this.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Text says my husband hated changing poopy diapers, so we
would barter and he would do a load of laundry
or a load in the dishwasher every time I changed
a diaper.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
That seems that's a lot. Think how many times you
change a diaper?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
A lot?

Speaker 4 (05:14):
That's a lot of chores done.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
What did you What kind of a deal did you
make with your partner, whether it involve popsicles or not,
because then couples make deals all the time. Remember the
keyword this hour is malone. Use the talkback feature in
the iHeart Radio app so you can win, win win.
I'd love to send you to that concert. We'll be
back in a second. We've got the Daily Bailey in
just a minute on one on one point three kd WUB.

(05:39):
What's on the Daily Bailey? Anything good?

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Well, it was just.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
World Cocktail Day, so we're talking about go to cocktails.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Whoo party.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
I can't wait to hear this whoo okay coming up.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
On YouTube and the iHeartRadio app. It's one on one point.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Three kd W b Hey, you're never more than thirty
minutes away from jelly roll and hoobastank tickets. I said
that because I've said that a million times, and I
want to make sure you're paying attention. You know, damn well,
it's not who stank, it's jelly roll and post malone. Okay,
you know I'm just checking because you hear me say
it all day long. You're never more than thirty minutes away.

(06:14):
And after a while, it's kind of like a stank
in your house, like the cat box. After a while,
you don't notice it anymore. See, you to stop paying attention.
So I will throw you off by saying you're never
more than thirty minutes away from winning tickets to see
the new Red Panda is coming back to the Minnesota Zoo.
And you'll be like, wait, wait, I thowts jelly Rolling
post Belode. You're right, it is, but I'm just trying

(06:36):
to throw you off, Like you know, switch gifts, Switch
it up?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Switch are the switch red? Switch it Panda coming back
to the zoo.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah, there's Red Panda is coming back to the zoo. Yes, yeah,
they were in the dells.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
They were on vacation.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
They're coming down. That's kind. Yeah, I saw some pictures
of the fires up in northeast Minnesota. It's it's awful.
It's like devastating. Over twenty thousand acres have scorched up there,
and hopefully we get some rain in the next couple
of days that'll help the fire fighters combat these fires.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yeah, I felt bad because I was I was saying,
how oh, it's so hot today and the day before
and the day before.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
But at least it's a dry heat. But the dry
heat is what makes it be flammable.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yeah, we're gonna do the Daily Bailey Jenny here, so
we're gonna talk about the Daily Bailey. But I would
just remind you another keyword coming up in a little bit.
We'll also have there's a big day of dirt today.
A lot of the time, Jonah Murray is in the
dirt today. He is, so I just love joning. He's
a local kid. He was in Why Don't We and
he's really struggled in the business, not with talent or

(07:36):
success necessarily, but just how the business is just a
cruel machine of grind you up and spit you out.
So we got some Jonah Ray clips coming up on
Dave's Dirt. In a few minutes on KTWB, another pop
star that's that has had a rough Justin Bieber is
in the dirt. They're doing a big documentary with TMZ
about Justin Bieber's I don't want to say downfall because
I don't think he's fine. It's decline is decline, Yeah,

(08:00):
and I hope he bounces back and I hope he
does well. And then of course the Menendez Brothers and Diddy.
You're all in the dirt. Some very salacious, lurid stuff
with Diddy, and we won't get details, but you can
look them up. I mean, I came home yesterday and
Susan's like, did you hear what Diddy used to do
with his girlfriend? I'm like, not really, and she's told
me and I was like, huh have you heard?

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Yeah, it's awful. I don't want to recount it.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
No, of course not. All right, let's do something fun
the daily daily.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
All right, we're talking cocktails.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Yesterday was World Cocktail Day, and so I want to
know what your gotail go to cocktail is. And then
I've got a really cool cocktail builder and we can
build some cocktails together.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Okah, okay, all right.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
So first of all, when I was twenty two, I
loved a sex on the beach. That stuff was so good.
Anything with malibu and pineapple.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
If you give that to me, now, I'm gonna throw
up because I drank too much of it and I'm
gonna gross ew.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I was that way to quila sunrise. I got suit
on tequila sunrises in high school. Can I have them?

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Never again?

Speaker 3 (09:01):
But now you know, Moscow mules delicious, Whiskey ginger is delicious.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Do you have a go to cocktail day?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Yeah? Usually a gin and tonic because I can't think
of anything else. It used to be whiskey sour when
I was turned twenty one, and I'd be out of
a restaurant to be like, oh, I'll got a whiskey sour.
Then in my Vegas era, when I lived in Vegas,
it was a white Russian. Oh yeah, just like kolua
and milk.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
I get those at weddings because the word white, isn't it?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Sure? Yeah? But now it's just kind of a gin
and tonic. Jenny and diet once in a while go
to cocktails.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
If I'm going out to have like drinks, drinks, I'm
just a vodka soda kind of gal and I'm going
to a fancy place. I love a good old fashion ooh,
an espresso martini delicious as well.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Oh martini, I'm gonna switch market martini.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Well, I have a website. It's called cocktail builder dot com.
Super easy, and all you have to do is type
in the stuff that you have in your little like
bar cart or in your kitchen, and it can tell
you what cocktails you can make with it.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Fun.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
So let's think about what we have, Dave, think about
your bar cart or your little bar.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
I don't know if you have a bar at home,
but give me an alcohol.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Okay, you vodka, grapefruit vodka, great, greape fruit vodka, probably
Scotch and the.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Gins, Scotch and gin. Do you have any like mixers?

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Mum? Seven?

Speaker 4 (10:24):
And you have seven?

Speaker 1 (10:25):
I say I don't, but let's say I do.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Okay, Okay, great, great, I'm gonna put in sprite because
seven ups on an option.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
All right.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
This website sounds like something college kids would do, where
they just take whatever they have and be like, yoh,
it's a cocktail.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
I use this often because I never know what to do.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Okay, so you can make a handful ready to make
cocktails with grapefruit, vodka, scotch, whiskey, gin and sprite. Oh really,
you can make something called Christmas Tree Water, which is
one part dry gin and three parts sprite Christmas tree water.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Make one called the Nikki six, which is whiskey and sprite. Okay, seven,
and so is sprite and whiskey.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Okay, okay, a lot of.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
These are only two I want that. Here's one.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
What is the website? This is fascinating called.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Cocktail builder dot com.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
This cocktail is called a zoot.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
It's got sprite, gin and whiskey that you mix all together.
Six ounces of sprite, one ounce gin, one ounce whiskey
is a zoot and then you put that over an
ice cube. It even tells you how much you're supposed
to make, like how much of each ingredient to make,
and the instructions on how to make. It's cocktail Builder
dot com and celebrate World Cocktail Day.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
He's also World Chiwawa Day to Day.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
George Lucas, the genius behind Star Wars. You got a
birthday today? How old is George Lucas?

Speaker 4 (11:41):
I know because I put it together. But Jenny can
guess genius behind Star Wars. So I'm gonna say he's
seventy eight.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Pretty close. He's eighty one years old. There is a video.
We talked about this at Ukulele Club last night, speaking
of old people that we love. Dick Van Dyke will
turn one hundred this year. Now. He's still mobile, he
can still dance, he's totally lucid, totally lucid, sharp as attack.
And there's a video of him with Chris Martin and
I guess it's just beautiful. Chris Martin from Coldplay sits

(12:10):
down and writes a song with Dick Van Dyke and
I haven't watched the whole thing, but it's just very sweet, yes,
and I want to watch it. It's on my phone.
Go look up on YouTube Chris Martin and Dick Van Dyke.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
I've watched it as very sweet you.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
I love Dick Van Dyke. He's just like a niche
interest of mine. I just love him.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
He turns one hundred this year and he's still around.
The guy in Freaking Mary Poppins is still around, still
kicking it is. Mark Zuckerberg is forty one years old
and Kate Blanchett is fifty six. It is Online Romance
Day today, so good luck Jenny. Jenny is prowling on
Hinge all the time looking for new men or women

(12:50):
or whatever. She's up for anything.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
I can say, maybe women yet this point.

Speaker 6 (12:54):
Girl.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Okay, good, all right, good go find that with Jenny.
She is a big booty loot.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
I'm not.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Can I tell you something that actually is factual. It's
the fact that I do a fitness class once a
month called Jenny's Fit Club and sign up for it
opens today at one pm. So if you go to
Dave Bryanhow dot com, I'll have a sign up sheet there.
It's happening next Wednesday. We work out at Flight in
Saint Louis Park, which it's a StairMaster and strength training class.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
It's a lot of fun.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
You go at your own pace and we're doing it
at one pm next Wednesday, and sign up opens at
one pm today.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
You can either follow me on Instagram.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
I'll have the direct link there at Jenny katwb or
Dave Bryanshow dot com.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Okay, by the way, Jenny and I are going to
be at the New Cub, the brand New Cub, the
flagship store in Burnsville giving out free stuff and hanging
out and saying Hi. This Friday from three until five
at the cub in Burnsville. Be right back on KATWB
with unlucky wedding months. This is serious stuff, the luckiest
and unlucky wedding dates, according to an astrologer. So if

(13:58):
you believe in that, we've got the dates not to
get married this year coming up next on Katie WB.
If you are getting married or thinking about getting married
sometime this year, have dug up the dates that you
should not get married. Staggering two point one million couples

(14:19):
got married in the United States last year alone. Wedding
season is coming. Brides are gearing up for the most
important day of their lives. But what if the date
you chose to say I do could determine how lucky
your marriage starts off. So there's an astrologer that worked
to uncover the luckiest ununluckiest wedding dates of twenty twenty five.

(14:40):
And when the stars are in a sweet formation, it
promotes romance, commitment, and happiness. And there are the luckiest
days for marriage. Now I will for what it's worth.
I don't believe not even a tidbit in astrology. I
think it is. It's kind of like one of those
things that we didn't know anything about life back then,
so we thought that everything was determined by supernatural things,
and now we know that it's kind of what you

(15:02):
do and what you don't do in your life and
the choices that you make. But here are the luckiest
dates to get married. May is the luckiest month to
get married, with six lucky dates and only two unlucky ones.
The closest upcoming unlucky date is May seventeenth. But luck
is on your side, Bailey, if you chose to marry

(15:23):
Bradley on May twentieth instead Bradley.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
Bradley's the man that I've been seeing dating.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
The enthusiasm and her voice.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
You've been on a couple of dates of them now too.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
I've been had two singular dates with brad You smooch yet.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Shave your legs before you go on the date?

Speaker 4 (15:43):
No, I shave my legs yesterday, though you didn't see
him yesterday.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Okay, gosh, you when you gonna see Bradley again?

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Probably not until next week?

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Oh good, Well, there's hope on the horizon. I don't
know November is the unluckiest month to tie the knot,
with only twenty one one lucky dates. Friday is the
luckiest day of the week to get married. As Venus
the planet eleven beauty rules on Friday year. Okay, can

(16:10):
I run something by you?

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
A friend of ours is getting married on New Year's Eve.
And the first thought I had was New Year's Eve.
What a rude day to get married on, because that's
New Year's Eve.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
And my wife said, you're stupid. I said, I'm listening.
Tell me why. She said, what do we do every
New Year's Eve? We sit at home and we watch
Ryan Seacrest. We don't do nothing. And I'm like, well,
we go to dinner, we go to ikes. Well yeah,
she said. What they're doing is they're giving us a
chance to party and celebrate and do something on New
Year's Eve.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
And I said, I'd never thought about it that way.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
Yeah, I wouldn't mind.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
I wouldn't mind a New Year's the Eve wedding because
I feel the same way. I would be like, oh, oh,
New Year's Eve, what an inconvenience, But the same exact thing.
I always plan things to do and then I never
do them, or I go and do them and it's
no fun.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
So you know, it's always fun a wedding. A wedding
is always fun. I'd like to go.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Someone aren't always fine, Well, I think that someone ins
have a lack of DJ and hype and so people
like end up believing at you know, nine thirty or
ten or something.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
That would be sad if I was a bride or
a groom and I had a wedding and I started
noticing people leaving early, and I did it. Susan threw
me a party one time and people started leaving early,
and by like a couple of hours into it, nobody
was left, and it was it was hardbreaking. Was it
was my surprise fortieth birthday party and I had a
room full of I've never told this story, it'll make

(17:31):
me cry, but I had a room full of people
and I was like, it was totally surprising. I really
had no idea, and a couple of hours into it,
the room was empty and it was like one couple
that felt sorry for us, and they're very sweet. They stayed.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
Was it at your house or at an event? Okay?
Bar okay?

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Yeah, yeah, but leaving a bar is a little bit
easier than leaving like a house party. I feel like
so like a bar is an easy, like in and
out kind of advice.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
That what it was a lot of people like, Hey,
we're on our way to the show, we're on our
way to a concert or whatever.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
Yeah, like.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
It was. It was, it was. It really was hurtful.
But I didn't take it. I did take it personally.
What am I saying? I did take it personally, clearly
say I take it personally. Yeah, but I would say,
let's go back to something better. Advice. Your DJ is
key to your wedding. Do not skimp on the DJ
because the DJ is the one who fires up the crowd,
knows what songs will make people dance, introduces the bride

(18:24):
and the bride or the groom or the groom or
the bride and the groom or whoever he calls in
the wedding party, hypes everybody up, does some funny stuff.
The DJ is key to your wedding. Do not get
a DJ that hasn't done hundreds of dances.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
Yeah, Jordan that used to work on the show does
Djane and he is booked constantly because people know how
good he is he's booked like two years out. I
feel like wow. But that's like how good certain DJs are.
And then you find the one who's free any day
of any any Saturday, Friday, Sunday, that one you might
now want to boo.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
You probably don't want to do them. And also with
DJ companies, a lot of them are sketchy because it's
a guy with some equipment, some speakers and a turntable
set and blah blah blah. But he's busy, he's off
fishing that day, so he gets his buddy to do
it for him.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
So make sure you're getting the DJ that's done dozens,
if not hundreds of weddings. That's my best wedding advice.
Happy wedding. It is National Chihuaha Day today, so shout
out to Kevin the Chihuahua who listens every day to
the Dave Ryan in the Morning Show. Shout out Kevin
bart Tons the Dirt including Joana Murray kind of being
real about the whole why don't we thing, And we'll

(19:32):
cover that coming up next on Dave's Dirt along with Diddy,
Justin Bieber and Kesha On the Dirt. We got a
keyword right now for you for post Malone and Jelly Roll,
the keyword is you ready roll. So go on the
iHeartRadio app and open that up and then tap that
red microphone and then you say the keyword is roll

(19:53):
and you can win the tickets for the big show
they called the Big Ass Stadium Tour and that's exactly
what it is. Come to US Bank Stadium next Tuesday night.
It's a weeknight. But you know what, you got to
live a little bit. Yeah, you'll be out, probably getting
bed by about midnight or so screw that. You know what,
You only live once. Take a nack l o. You
only live.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
One Yolo, you should take patent that or another one.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Fomo.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Yeah, what does that mean?

Speaker 1 (20:17):
I just got the acronym. I don't really have a
meaning yet. I just I just got the acronym.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
Can I say something about Yolo? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (20:25):
I saw something recently that I liked a little bit better.
It's you only die once. You can live every day.
So kind of like take Yolo out and you're not
gonna say, Yomo, you only doo yo Yoda die ones.
But I like that a little bit better than Yolo
because you can live more than just once.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Yeah, throughout your life, you really do.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
You live every single day, right, Yeah, So make the
most of the day or take a nap, take a nap.
So anyway, the keyword right now is roll, So go
do that. On the iHeartRadio app, we're the talk back feature.
There is so much dirt to get into. It's brought
to you by Hammer and Lawyers in Heimer and Lammer's
Injury Law. Let's get started, and now from the world's

(21:06):
most unreliable sources, it's Dave's Dirt on Katie WB interesting
article about Kasha and her song TikTok that blew her
up to stardom in two thousand and nine. She said
she thought it was horrible. She said it was embarrassing,
and she's like, come on, I'm brushing my teeth with
Jack Daniels. It's just a stupid, stupid song. And she
said I tried to make it more stupid as I

(21:27):
wrote it, And she said, I couldn't believe it blew
up and became a big song. But really it was
such a big unusual song that it really just I mean,
it was kind of like that shaboozy song. It was
so different that it just kind of captivated everybody and
made her a big star. So I thought that was
kind of interesting. Jonah Murray is a local kid from
miss Still Water, m and he blew up and he

(21:48):
was huge, and then he was in Why Don't We,
And then the band kind of just it didn't tank.
They did really well, but then the management and the
band members could not get along. So here's Jonah on
a pot podcast, being very real and really revealing about
his experience Why Don't We?

Speaker 6 (22:06):
And I was in It ended in twenty twenty two
because our management suited us for fifty million dollars.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
You know.

Speaker 6 (22:14):
We've had some conversations about like doing the Taylor Swift thing,
like re recording everything, yeah, putting it out maybe under
a different name.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Why didn't We? Why can't We? You know, I like
the band name Why Can't We? Yeah, I hope they
do something with that. Also, Jonah talks about some serious
mental issues.

Speaker 6 (22:30):
I had a psychosis episode. I was like fully out
of reality for a few days, and I like had
to go to the er there for like on a
twelve hour hold, like tried to run out of their
security grab me like it was scary. It was also
hard to then like realize you're so wrong about something.
Also not trust your own thoughts after that.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Just what a good human. He just seems like a
very sweet human. And again the man the music industry,
it is tough, rough and tumble out there, it really is,
and it'll take somebody as like amazing, how I mean
you think about these celebrities that die young because the
music industry just chews them up. Kurt Cobain, a bunch
of other ones in Amy.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
White thirty two year old, clubs that would seventy twenty six.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
Actually I'm not sure, but it's like a lot of
them die at twenty six years old. Justin Bieber is
also creating a lot of speculation and TMZ is doing
a documentary about Justin Bieber, and it really is kind of,
I don't know, shocking about how Justin has gone from
this cute, little cherubic little kid to kind of he
looks like he's got some problems. He looked like he's

(23:34):
got some issues everything from finances. Apparently he's in the
hole for millions because of his canceled tour a few
years ago where they gave him a bunch of money
to tour in advance and then he canceled the tour
because he couldn't take it anymore. So now he owes
them and they bring sued and this person suing and
that thing, and then his we don't know about his marriage,

(23:55):
but then he's also in kind of an odd church
that who knows what's going on.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
There, just like what's going on with Justin Bieber going around.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
A lot of that. Yeah, Diddy, the story about Diddy.
What do you know about the Diddy trial.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Well, I know that they so Cassie Ventura, who was
like his girlfriend at the time of all of these
like allegations, she testified yesterday and her Yeah, the things
that she said that happened were pretty rough, pretty bad.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
I'm not going to like recount all of them because.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
No you can't. I mean, it's disgusting and it's way
too X rated. Yeah for the radio.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
And we were talking earlier that she's only thirty eight
now and Didd he is fifty five, and so when
this was all happening, she had to be have been
super young, and you know, didn't feel comfortable like leaving
that situation, didn't feel like she could also probably you know,
was super influenced by his power and you know, all
the stuff that he was doing. You can't really get

(24:49):
out of that situation once you're in it.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Yeah, and especially I mean when she was young, and
let's say we all usually get a little bit smarter
as we get older. And I think she looked at
Ditty and thought, oh my god, I just love him
so much. And who cannot be seduced by fame and
power and wealth of somebody like Diddy. And then later
she realized that she just could not get out.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
That and she feared for her career, which is kind
of that's another the whole power play thing, like, well,
if you don't do this, then I will blackmail you later.
And so the fear of blackmails can be super you know,
not a great thing.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
So we'll cover more of the Diddy trial as we go.
The Menindez brothers are also they are possibly a step
closer to freedom, and I really have no issue with that.
I think that they have been in for a very
long time. Yes, what they did was horrific, and basically
they've served thirty five ish years or so, and they

(25:45):
seem like they're not a harmed to the public or
a danger to the public.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
So I mean they've been in prison. So how do
you know that?

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Well, I don't think that. I mean there's certain people,
like you know, certain people should not be let out
of prison. They're still dangerous. They are not in any
way rehabilitated. They are a mess and dangerous. And you
hear about it all the time. Somebody's out on Parola.
They just got out in prison and then killed their girlfriend.

Speaker 6 (26:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
I don't think these guys are going to kill anybody,
that's true.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:12):
I think what I had seen this morning was that
they they're sentencing as fifty years to life now, so
it's not just life in prison.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Oh really Okay, so it's a lot.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Potential fifty years to life and then from there. Also,
did you guys see the new couple alert with who
Cardi B's dating? No, kind of has some local ties
to hear in Minnesota.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
Stefan Diggs.

Speaker 5 (26:32):
He used to play for the Vikings, and they apparently
made their public romance live at the New York Knicks
game last night and so Monday night, sorry, I apologize.
And so they were hole in hands getting all cozy
court side, and I love how people The New York
Knicks games are the games that you will see all

(26:53):
the celebs at because it's New York. Unfortunately, the Timberwolves
don't get as money celebrities. It's either like had a
Clippers game or a Lakers game, or a New York
Knicks game, and the Knicks are actually doing well. So
I mean that makes sense that a lot of celebrities
are going to their games this year. But I kind
of am shocked by that because I always thought she

(27:13):
was going.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
To just end up with whatever Migos guy she's with.
I forget which one it is. Is it allset?

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Oh yeah, I think so, yep. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
I kind of always just assume that they're just going
to get back together, always like they're going to break
up and then get back back together, break up.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
Get back together.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
But this is the first time I think she's had
a legit boyfriend since ever, saying she's not gonna be
with him anymore.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Katy Perry Updates show was last night at Target Center.
There was some weird like I gotta know, equipment electronics
res stampoos that kept people out of the stay of
arena until later in the night they finally got in.
I think something that somebody said something fell from the
ceiling during soundcheck, which thank god they caught that. That
could be somebody who's like, you know, kid or mom

(27:57):
or you ever getting clubbed in the head by a
speaker or a light grit or something. So they found that.
And all the things we hear about the show are good,
if not great.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Yeah for that waiting time, the waiting time.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Yeah, so, Ted, who used to work here at KTBB,
said he gave it three out of five stars. He
said it was great, but nothing really blew him away. Okay,
all right.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
He was also upset because her like teenage Dream songs.
He said that she only played little clips of that
and that album has some of her biggest hits.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
That's what people come to see.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
So frustrating.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
Yeah, like, we don't want to hear the new stuff
that doesn't even get played on the radio.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
Come.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
I love it when no it's true. I love it
when you go see an artist that gets why people
are there. They know you're here to hear all of
my radio hit songs. So if you go see an
artist and they get it because the art, they get
so tired of playing the same song. She's probably played
California Girls in concert hundreds of times. And she's sick

(28:53):
of it. But that's why I'm there, and so it's
really valuable when you mean an artist that gets that
Wolves are in town tonight. They are playing Golden State tonight.
I want to say, tip off is eight thirty, Yes tonight.
Target Center seats are very expensive, but come on, it's
the playoffs, it's the Wolves.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
If you want to go, you should pay up the money.
Why not.

Speaker 5 (29:14):
I was gonna say yesterday we were looking up seats
and I'm sure that maybe they're even more or less today,
but I think the highest price was like thirteen thousand
dollars for straight court side seats. Lois was still probably
a few hundred for probably the last for the league.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Yeah, but you're still there. I mean to talk about
energy in the crowd tonight.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
If we win this one, then what happens then?

Speaker 1 (29:35):
No? Okay, no, no, no, it is we could win
the Stanley Cup.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
Though we win the Stanley Cup, wint Year, stop it
on there.

Speaker 5 (29:45):
It's called the NBA Finals. People are gonna literally text
it and be like, you.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Idiot, I thought we're in the finals. Is this not
the finals?

Speaker 1 (29:52):
It's for the Lombardi Trophy.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
Oh yeah, the Lombardi Trophy.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
It's a big statue of Vince Lombardi.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
Yes, yeah, who's that.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
He was a famous construction worker.

Speaker 5 (30:02):
Oh my gosh, don't disrespect the packers like that.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Oh Darius, every chance I get, I'm over it with
you too.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
You are never more than forty minutes away from another
keyword for post malone and jelly roll. So hang on
for that. We'll do that in just about five or
six minutes.
