Speaker 1 (00:03):
Shout out Mandy for letting her. You know, we know
who rules the radio station.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's Mandy.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
So if there's a new Taylor Swift song, Rich probably
has to call Mandy and say, hey, Mandy, it's me Rich.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
It's me right, it's me Rich.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I'm gonna play this new tailor should we play this
song on KTWB And then maybe maybe I don't know. Anyway,
Mandy said play it, so we played.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
It, and wife yes, but he has to say hey, Mandy,
it's Rich when he calls.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Her, just in case, you know, never know.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Hates me boss shack on kd WB. And yesterday we
talked to Cassandra and I was worried that she if
I knew that, if she didn't call back this morning,
it would be bad news. But it must be okay
news because Cassandra is back on the phone after getting
a little trouble down at the office because of what

(00:52):
she did during a meeting.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Hi, Cassandra, Bye, you guys.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
It's like she's got her tail between her legs.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Well a little bit, a little bit. So let's recap
Cassandra because there's some people that didn't listen yesterday to
hear how you got in trouble at work?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
What happened?

Speaker 5 (01:12):
So basically, I was in a zoom meeting, a boring
meeting at work, and I send a message to what
I thought was my work bestie, but you know, asking
what your favorite peorn category is, and well, I accidentally
sent it to the entire meeting, so all fifty people
in the meeting saw it.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
How long did you now, when when you send it,
does it sit there or can you retract it?

Speaker 5 (01:39):
You cannot retract it, So it sat there and I
you know, it's one of those things you send it
and you realize and it's your heart just thinks.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
See, if I had been on that meeting, I would
have immediately written back juicy booty. That would be my
and that would be my answer. Did anybody write back
any answers on this or did they just let you
sit there?

Speaker 5 (02:01):
No? People ignored it, like it was so awkward and uncomfortable.
Just everybody pretended that it wasn't there.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Okay, Yeah, I would have been like, I don't see anything,
so you're in a panic. The rest of the meeting went,
how much longer did your boss call and tell you?

Speaker 5 (02:22):
Well, I mean when it happened. There was probably like
twenty minutes left of the meeting. But you know, I
immediately after the meeting heard from my boss and was like,
you know, and she was like, I don't have time
to meet with you today, but tomorrow, you know, right
like tomorrow, right away, we're going to meet and talk
about this. So that was yesterday.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
The meeting was yes, tell me what happened, all right?

Speaker 5 (02:47):
So, I mean, she was obviously really serious. She was like,
this is highly inappropriate and goes against our policies for
talking about stuff like this. You know, what were you thinking?
And I I wasn't about to lie at that point,
so I was just like, you know, I didn't. I
thought I was joking around. I know this's inappropriate to

(03:07):
joke about it. You know, I shouldn't have even been
thinking about making that joke on a work platform. But
so you know, I owned it. But basically I was
written up and I have to now write an email
to everyone that was in the meeting to apologize. And

(03:28):
I'm like, what do I say in this letter? Like
what do you what would you guys say in this letter?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
H what would we say?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Like?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Well, I would say we were in a.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Very different environment.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
Yeah, so I feel like we would probably make a
little bit of a joke out of it, but I
don't think that you're allowed to at this point.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Now your job.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
You just use some emojis like the the emoji with
the tongue out like my dad ops.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Be sincerely, apologize, be professional, sincerely apologize, keep it short,
and you know, I think the thing about apologizing is
once you apologize, only a jerk is going to keep
ripping on you for doing it. So once you apologize,
what else can they say? Well, yeah, you're stupid and
you should bad, bad, bad bad, So just apologize, sincerely,
keep it short, be professional, and everybody gets it. Everybody

(04:22):
has had thoughts like that in a meeting and maybe
not that specific thought. Everybody, Yeah, not that specific thought,
but it was funny. And you know what, and people
like you at work. I can tell you're a likable person.
So you just write the letter, keep it short, and
then be done with it.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Yeah, do you have a plan, Cassandra, what's your plan
for writing this email?

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Honestly, I might. I might use chat GPT help me
at least help you know, format it or get an idea,
because I mean this is the most embarrassed that you guys,
this is the most embarrassing thing I've ever been through.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Somebody did text in saying and the email you to everybody,
you should add the link to pornhub at the bottom
of the email.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
My god, you know what, you're human. It's funny if
somebody did that at our work. You know, we're we're
at a radio station where we actually can search unsavory
things at the radio station and nobody. I mean, it
depends on how unsavory you're going to get. But yeah,
but if you work at like, you know, a US

(05:25):
bank or something like that, probably going to be a
different story. Ask chat GPT to write it, and I'm
glad you still have your.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Job me too.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
Thank you guys for you know, talking me through this
and being there. Yeah, you guys are there for all
of my life moments, so figured i'd let you know
about this one.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Funnily enough, that's Cassandra's favorite porn category talking through it.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Shut up daily, put that leg over there. No, not
not there.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
I did not think exists. I don't know if it
does or not.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
But thanks, laugh or cry laugh about it.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
You got to laugh about it becauseandraw thank you glad
everything turned out. Okay, all right, couple of things that
we we've always got something coming up here on KWB.
I'm gonna get you that keyword for Kendrick and Sizza
that's coming up in seconds. But we got a brand
new Lady Gaga mix. This is like a Mega Mega remix,
the Power Remix. It's eleven minutes long.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Is that right?

Speaker 6 (06:25):
That's correct because she has an album coming out tonight,
so you can hear it on KATWB tonight, I believe,
because it releases that midnight Eastern, so that's eleven o'clock
our time, correct.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yeah, yeah, exactly right.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Okay, so we'll do that coming up next only on KTWB.
Let's do the keyword and then we'll come right back
with Lady Gaga super Mega Mix on KTWB.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Kd WB Bryan Show on kd WB.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
We're the Twin Cities number one hit music station, so
it's not a surprise we get this giant extended Mega
mix of Lady Gaga. Super cool. It's basically what kind
of like to I don't know, recognize her new album.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
Yeah, well, I mean it's not gonna have new music.
It's kind of just to like throw back all of
the amazing songs that she's done in the past, and
then to hype us up for this album release that's
happening tonight on KATWB.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Good night, okay, eleven o'clock tonight on KTWB. Yes, yeah,
so you hear tonight?

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Here it is the extended mega mix Lady Gaga on
kd WUB. It is a like a mega mix of
Lady Gaga. Then people are texting it's like, I don't
listen to Lady Gaga all the time, but man, she
has some bangers. Another text at KTWB one says, I
didn't realize how much I liked Lady Gaga until you
played this mix.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
So super cool.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Good.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
If you want to hear a new album, it's going
to play in its entirety tonight eleven o'clock released at
midnight East Coast eleven o'clock our time tonight on kt
WB because we're iHeartRadio and we have all the connections
and we're gonna get it for you before and nobody
else does tonight at eleven o'clock. So maybe put an
alarm on your phone if you're up and and thanks
for all the comments.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
On that Mega mix. We'll be back.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
We've got your keyword for Kendrick and Sizza in a
few minutes. And there's a board game that is it's
been around forever. We all love it, but it's making
some changes and people are upset about it.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
And other people are like, that's kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
It's a game you've played, you love it and you
know it, and we'll talk about it next time. You
can't make this stuff up on katiewb popoly. But they
also get very touchy when any changes come to it.
I mean, it's like, come on, it's Monopoly. We love it,
we grew up playing it. People play it wrong. I've
told you this before. People go it goes on too long.
It's because you screw up the free parking thing. So

(08:39):
people have a rule that all the money in the middle.
When you land on free parking, you get the money
in the middle. Is that how you play it? I
don't remember how.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
I played it. I don't think I ever.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
Actually followed the rules exactly how you were supposed to know.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
When was the last time you played Monopoly, Dave?

Speaker 1 (08:54):
I can't remember exactly, seriously decades, but I grew up
playing it was one of my favorite games. But it
would go on forever because you could be almost bankrupt,
but then you'd land on free parking and get all
the money in the middle. That's not how the game
is played. You're supposed to slowly go bankrupt without some big,
you know, windfall to rescue you. But let's talk about
the change to the game that people are mad about.

(09:16):
Has Bro says there's a new monopoly called Monopony app banking,
So basically there's no banker, there's no cash. Everything is
done on an app on your phone. So everybody opens
up the app and you log in and now you like,
buy this property's like oh by park place, and it's
taking to take money out of your you know, your
your budget, and then when you land on it with

(09:38):
a hotel blah blah blah, it pays it. So it
lowers the chance of cheating, which you always you know,
your big sister always cheated and like said, oh, the
rules say that I get the hotel for free, you know,
and so you can't really cheat.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
But then people are mad mm hmm. People are like, it.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Doesn't teach my kids about math and how to handle money.
And then some other parents are going my kids don't
have a cellular device.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Yes they do, they do. Come on, stop it.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
And the good news of the classic Monopoly is still
be sold. There are hundreds of millions of copies of
that original game out there, not to mention Star Wars Monopoly,
Simpson's Monopoly, Harry Potter Monopoly, all the other versions. I
think I bought a Star Wars Monopoly and I never
opened it. It's like, oh cool, Star Wars, and then

(10:29):
I never opened it.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
Dave, can you remember, like the last board game that
you purchased. I'm trying to think of the last board
game that I purchased.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Question, Bailey, That's really a good question, because.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Do we really purchase those anymore? I think I know.
I purchased Scrabble.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Okay, yeah, I purchased Code Names, and that's kind of
like a newer one, and that one's really fun.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
But I can't.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
I always go through that isle at Target and look,
I look at all the games and I.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
Think these look cool, these look fun. Do I buy them? No? No,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
No.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
I'm also settlers of Katan, which is I was really
into it for a few years and years back, and
it really is fun. It's just a matter of, like,
you know, finding somebody to play with. It really is fun,
it's simple, and it's really an engaging, communicating kind of
a game that is not.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
A simple game.

Speaker 6 (11:19):
Gosh, the one time I played, I hated every second
of it because it took way too long to even
try to understand how to play it.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
She's so wrong.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Okay, I'm gonna tell you in my version of your story. Yeah,
So we were here with the family, and my son
in law Marcus is like not a board game kind
of a guy at all. So I'm like, hey, everybody,
we're gonna play Settlers of Katon. He's holding the pint
glass of beer. I can still picture him, and he
lets out a really heavy sigh, like but he sits down,

(11:48):
and fifteen minutes later he's got He's like, who's got brick?

Speaker 2 (11:52):
I need brick. I don't want your wheat. Who's got coal?
I need coal?

Speaker 1 (11:56):
And it was fun and it's funny and it's interactive,
and it's it's Jenny, you.

Speaker 6 (12:00):
Just gotta giving this like twenty minutes even to set
up the board because they had some extended version of it,
and it just it was just so obnoxious. And then
people were still not understanding the rules when it was
their turn. They didn't know at what point they could
ask for the brick or whatever.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
It was too complicated for my like, I will stick
with sorry, thank you so much. I get it.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
You know what it's like any board game, if you
learn from somebody who knows how to play it, as
opposed to learning from the instruction pamphlet, That's that's where
it becomes hard because you look at the instructions.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
It's thick.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
You're like, oh my god. But if you sit down,
I could teach you how to play it. I know
how to play it, and you'd be going, I want brick,
Who's got brick? Who's got coal? Within ten minutes, you
would who's breaking the last game? Brick is hot? I
want brick. I think I bought Coda, which is a
really cool game. Coda it's like a code breaking kind

(12:56):
of aa' the last game. Yeah, it's really cool. I've
also bought the one with the railroads. Oh, ticket to
Ride what's it called? Ticket to Ride is a really
cool game, and really you can play Ticket to Ride
on your phone. There's an app version on your phone
there's also an app version of You can play app
version on your ocula of uh Settlers on your oculus quest.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Did you know that?

Speaker 4 (13:21):
I didn't know that, but now I do.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
You can have Who's nerdier than Bailey?

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Right now, you dummy?

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (13:30):
What is?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Let me know?

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Yeah, someone said Clue that they just bought the game Clue,
which is a great game.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
It's an older game, so hey, go off, Queen.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Someone else said, Jenny's idea of a simple game is Candyland.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
Yes, yeah, yes, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
That's great. You actually kind of resemble the Queen and Candyland, Jenny.
I don't remember her name, but she's like a little
ice queen and she looks like you.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
I think the last game I bought a Cribbage, but
that doesn't really count as a board game.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
Queen Frosting.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
But Cribbage is really cool too. That's another great game.
So I'm such a game person. I love games. I
go out a couple of times, like a month, and
play cribbage with some friends here and there. But I
got all these board games in the closet. Susan's not
a board game kind of a person. I don't know.
So we should have a katably be game night and
all get together in the sky room and play Settlers

(14:25):
of Katan.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Like three people.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Would show up.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
Already.

Speaker 6 (14:30):
You already know I'm not in for this because I
have my foot down about a morning show game night
at Dave's for like months now.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Jackos come over and fun though. I love that it
is so fun.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
Hey, this is what you guys can do.

Speaker 6 (14:46):
You can put it on d R TV and I
can watch it from the comfort of my home and say,
good job, Bailey, that was.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
A good move. And I'll watch it.

Speaker 6 (14:56):
I'll like chime in every once in a while with comments.
I'll be like, oh my god, you're killing it and
you're like and you guys would be like Jenny Vonce
out of the game, and I'll be like, oh, shoot,
there must be a delay.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
By the way, Vaunt is off today. He is at
his great grandma's funeral back in New Jersey. I do
got to give a shout out to everybody who donated
yesterday for Joy for Josie. We did a big fundraiser
and we raised about eight thousand dollars with the match.
It's now sixteen thousand dollars. So thank you very much
for all your donations yesterday. We really appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
I'm better looking, Dave. Start on Katie WB.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Katy Perry is in trouble.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
I mean, it's so interesting that she's having struggling so
much in her career and she can't sell tickets and
she can't get a hit song on the radio, and
she's tried to make a comeback and it's just stalled
multiple times. So she went to Taylor Swift and Taylor said,
you got to do a better concert. You gonna have
wardrobes and lighting and the story and blah blah blah.

(15:53):
And it's like, I don't think that's the problem. I
don't think that people are going to they're just not
going to her shows.

Speaker 6 (15:59):
She has why it is, but I feel like she
already has a very eclectic show. It's very showy, like
lots of different set changes, lots of like fun outfits. Yeah,
she probably doesn't have maybe the storytelling that Taylor Swift
might have, but like, I don't know how you turn
I kissed a girl and I liked it into a story,
But you know whatever, it's a story in its own Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Exactly, Yeah, so basically she's having trouble selling out the
arenas that she's booked and just having trouble getting songs
on the radio. But you know, my thing is, I've
been on the radio for a long time. Pop acts
come and go. I mean, think about somebody who was
really big, like I don't know, Green Day, you know,
I mean, is Green Day ever gonna have another hit
song on the radio. Well, I don't know, probably not,

(16:41):
but you know, they're still around. Katy Perry can still
be around for years. She just might not be as
huge as she used to be. Celebrity couple is breaking up.
George and Amal Clooney are separating, according to the Tableloyds,
Oh mysy New York. Yeah, he's in New York preparing

(17:02):
for his Broadway debut. She is teaching at Oxford in England,
and it's caused them to grow apart. Now, remember these
are the tabloids and this is Dave's dirt, so it's
not necessarily confirmed, but I wanted to give you the
little scoop on that just in case it happens.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
Funny, I just saw an interview with George Clooney recently
where he said that he was like shocked that she
even gave him a chance because she's just like so
intelligent and accomplished in every way. Not that obviously, George
Clooney isn't accomplished, but he was like, I can't even
believe I landed her, blah blah blah. And I just
saw that interview with them, So I think this is rumors.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
It could be, could be.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Dave Sturtys brought to you by six y one two
Injured Heimer and Lammer's Injury Law. The cop that arrested
Justin Timberlake for drunk driving last year has been named
Officer of the Year in Sagharbor, New York. His name
is Michael Arkinson and he led his department in arrests
and summonses. So I'm not sure if that's how they

(18:04):
quantify how you become the officer of the year, but
interesting that he's still in the news.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
He kind of sucked though. It's like everywhere he goes,
it's like, yeah, yeah, that's a guy that the roasted.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Jo Justin Timberlake's like, just let me shut up and
eat my donuts. They like donuts.

Speaker 6 (18:19):
They do love to you know what, Dave, you just
brought up a good fact for police officers that there
are great deals at holiday station stores, including a bakery
deal where you can get two ring donuts plus a
medium hot coffee, but also.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Their three dollars meal deal.

Speaker 6 (18:32):
Yeah, Johnsonville brought with a coffee or a polar pop,
whatever you like for three dollars.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Wow, and police officers three bocks.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Is that a typo?

Speaker 4 (18:41):
No, it's not a typo.

Speaker 6 (18:42):
I know we did five dollars meal deals last month
and now was three dollars. We're just making it cheaper
over here now and we as if I own holidays, Yeah,
we're just out making it cheaper.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
David d'cufany's going to host a History Channel series called
Secrets to Classified that's kind of like a real life
X Files. Each episode is going to focus on secrets
that we would like to dive deeper into, for example
Area fifty one, and he said, I've always been drawn
to exploration of the more complicated aspects of our lives,

(19:14):
leading into conversations that dig below the surface and unlock
a more interesting story. No word yet on when that
is going to premiere, but it sounds kind of interesting.
In other dirt Fryfest organizer, this guy Billy something or other.
Fire He says that Fest two, you're right, thank you
Firefest this guy who blew the first one. It was

(19:38):
so funny ten twelve years ago. And watch the documentary
if they have it on Netflix. Yet they're so interesting
about how it was just awful. He says that Firefest
two is going to happen.

Speaker 7 (19:49):
First, fire to is real. Second, we have incredible partners
letting the festival. They're in charge of all the logistics,
productions and operations. This includes an incredible productions feam in
Mexico who does not frout. There is no way they
would ever take on a fake festival.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Why is it yelling at us? That's what I want
to know.

Speaker 6 (20:12):
That in the fact that like I just feel like
I'm part of an MLM scheme. Yes, yeah, it's gonna
be great. You should definitely sign up. And it's like, wait,
but how do I actually make money?

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Hey, beauty boss babe, Oh you will.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Oh You're gonna be laying on the beach in Tahiti
sometime soon. Yeah, yeah great.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Jennifer Garner is not getting back together with Ben Affleck.
Being married once was enough for her again insiders tell
us that it's ridiculous to think Ben and Jenna rekindling
ten years after their divorce. She is quietly dating a
guy named John Miller and co parenting with Ben, who's
been unattached since leaving Jennifer Lopez.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
So that's that story.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Uh, and Cey Street has laid off Big Bird and
Oscar the Grouch. Now that's not exactly true, but they
have had to do some layoff because they're I guess
their distribution deal is not as lucrative and now they're
owned by HBO or something, and I don't really know,
but it's they've got so much competition now. When you
were a kid and watched Sesame Street's been on for

(21:13):
fifty six years, when you were a kid, it was
really the only kids show on other than Mister Maybe Dave.

Speaker 6 (21:21):
I'm gonna have you reconnect just because you're kind of
out right now, so I'm gonna have you reconnect.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
But to end that story, no, they aren't actually laying
off like Baker or Perfectly Elmo or anyone. They are
still employed.

Speaker 6 (21:34):
It's just that Sesame Street isn't doing as well as
