Speaker 5 (06:51):
See, I think she's going to be younger because Forever
twenty one wasn't really a thing when we were in
high school.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Maybe a little because.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
I was maybe like twenty one when I was shopping
at Forever twenty one. She was in high school, So

very nineties brand, and Baby Doll Tea is obviously that
could I wouldn't it be wild if Beth says that
she graduated this year, because that's kind of.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
What kids wearing now say she's forty five.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
You think forty five?
Speaker 4 (07:44):

kind of like we're psychics here, Kaida.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
What else was there? Anything else? Yeah? Yeah, there was
Abercrombie and Tommy Hill figure.
Speaker 1 (09:15):

thirty six years old.
Speaker 2 (09:22):

County seats?
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Oh my gosh, okay, just direct your feet to the
county seat. The jingle, yeah, county seat has not been
in business for a long time. I'm gonna guess you're
probably fifty five years old.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Ooh, I'm forty seven.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
Oh okay, Oh dang.
Speaker 2 (10:03):

that makes sense.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
How does it make sense just.

metropolitan area.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
Kids that drew up yeah and over.
Speaker 3 (11:01):

a little bit younger than us.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
So I'm going thirty one. Okay, thirty thirty one.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
I am thirty three.
Speaker 5 (11:36):

of the middle of nowhere, Stephanie, No, I was shocked. Yeah,
(13:01):

that check mark. Yeah, no, he doesn't have a check mark.
I don't think.
Speaker 4 (13:10):

Ice is out.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
We're Minnesota's it's fine. Uh So let's talk a little
bit about on one place that's not it. Yeah, let's
talk a little bit about what's going on this weekend,
because I know there's it's a long weekend, and uh
we know the Memorial they weekend is for us to
remember and honor the people who have died for the country.
But it's also a big recreational weekend, so there's people
(14:38):
going out to do different things. But there's also a
lot of things going on here in the Twin Cities.
Speaker 4 (14:42):
Let's find out what's.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Going on, Stephanie that we can do rather than sitting
around playing on a phone.
Speaker 6 (14:47):
All right, I'm back with the top five list, and
I think I'm gonna Number five is going to be
the wild card weirdo one.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
So I love that.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Their niche very specific.
Speaker 6 (14:55):
Lord of the Rings Day Tomorrow noon to ten at
Inboundber They're gonna have live music, a vendor market with
all the like Lord of the Rings trinkets, a costume
contest theme drinks, trivia from one to three and.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
They're doing trivia online on dates and these are also
on your Instagram too.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yes is Stephanie dot Rosner R O S E N
E R.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
Okay, Yes, all right. Number four is for the curvy ladies.
They're having a clothing swap at our Bitter Brewing. It's
a backpocket vintage does a vintage shop, so they're getting
all the girls bring your clothes sizes fourteen and up, accessories, jewelry,
all that kind of stuff, and then you just bring everything.
They're doing it outside so they'll have a ton of space,
and then you just kind of shop what other people brought,
(15:42):
and then they'll donate.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
The rest too, and it's free, right, Like you don't
have to pay then for other people's clothes.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah, that's so awesome gathering. Yep, they have great beer
at Arbiter two. Cool place.
Speaker 6 (15:53):
Yeah, tomorrow, one to five, Okay, carry on all right.
Number three it's for the cat lovers in Minneapolis. Here.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Let me get you ready. I'm ready.
Speaker 6 (16:03):
Kiddy yoga at Smash Park in Rooseville. I think I
did puppy a couple of weeks ago, but kittens. Everyone
in Minneapolis and the Twin Cities loves cats. Two sessions
ten am and eleven tomorrow. Basically you just do yoga
for forty five minutes and then there's little kittens running
around the room and then you get fifteen minutes like
take photos and stuff.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
That I was I was picturing a cat doing the
child's pose. Yeah, not happening.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, they might know, they might you might be in
child's pose and they're making little biscuits on your back.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
They'll jump on.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
A goat yoga just yoga with goats walking around.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
I mean, it's not yoga.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
It's just goats jumping on you and you pretending like
you're doing like the cow pos or what.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
I don't know what the posts are.
Speaker 6 (16:43):
Actually one of those goat yoga's happening this weekend at
Forgotten Star.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
So you can find that. Oh nice. Oh yes, okay,
So it's.
Speaker 6 (16:50):
Twenty five dollars and part of that goes to the
rescue that's bringing the cats.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
It's called Twin City's Pet Rescue.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
Oh nice.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Super cheap.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
I mean sometimes there's you know, companies that have it
like sixty bucks a sessions.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
So this is pretty cheap in compared to it.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Yes.
Speaker 6 (17:04):
Number two is Twin City Skaters is like a roller
skating group. They have a ton of skates and they're
setting up at the Rock in Saint Louis Park. It's
like an open air event venue. Okay, so you just
calm show up.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
It's free. They have skates of all sizes.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
They're skiing every bar whatever.
Speaker 6 (17:19):
Yep, exactly. That's a Memorial Day from five to eight pm.
Ooh at the Rock. Okay, I'm gonna write that down too.
I mean that's fun. And they'll have raffles and prizes, games, food,
all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
So it's just the Memorial Day party. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
And then number one, I heard you guys talking about
this earlier is the kickoff to the State Fairs going on.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
A lot of people don't know about it.
Speaker 6 (17:38):
When I talk about on social media, they're like, I
didn't even know this was a thing.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Yeah, this is great. Like I hate the heat there,
I hate the crowd.
Speaker 6 (17:43):
So they're gonna have forty food vendors and like thirty
you know Minnesota base companies selling merchandise, music, entertainment, free parking,
The Giant Slide will be open. Sweet Marthas will be there.
This is my best tip for Minneapolis people is the
best egg girl in the city is from Quavette, and
they'll be the stand quaveet It's a they started in
(18:06):
northeast Minneapolis. They have like a takeout place so you
can eat into. They're kind of expanded in recent years now.
I think they have a place in Brooklyn Park and
at Saint Paul. I think they do too. And it's
spelled to just because it's hard to pronounce. But it's
que space v I E T.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
I always get a Vietnamese coffee there every year, and
then I usually get their wantons too.
Speaker 6 (18:26):
Yeah, everything they have is phenomenal. They have many that's
a mile long. So if you like that kind of thing,
I'd check them out.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
And so Bailey's go tomorrow, today and tomorrow and tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
Yeah, I'm so excited.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
And honestly, if if I can put in my own plug,
Mini donut beer at the Ballpark is the best beer
that has ever been created.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
It's tasty, it is so good.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
So I recommend the mini donut beer at Ballpark at
the kickoff to the face. Probably maybe all they have
all their vendors, like all the food vendors on their websites.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
You can check out if you want, but it looks
like most of the staples are there. It's nice. Yeah,
I love it.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
In Cash missed any of this? Can you run down
the one more time? Stephanie is here to tell us
what to do this weekend besides sit at home.
Speaker 6 (19:09):
Number five is Lord of the Rings day at Inbound
Brewing Tomorrow noon to ten pm. Number four is the
they called the Fat Bodies Clothing Swap, but I just
feel like that's weird. But it's for curvey girls. Size
is fourteen and up, Bring your Clothes Swap. Number three
is Kiddy yogat Smash Park tomorrow morning. Number two's Memorial
Day Skate by the Twin City Skaters at the Rock
(19:30):
in Saint Louis Park on Monday night. And number one
is kick off to the State Fair.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Nice, big stuff going on this week, going on.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
For the people that are in town. And we can
follow you on Instagram, Stephanie. You can what's your Instagram again,
Stephanie dot Rosner R O S E N E R.
Every week I post ten to twelve ideas of what's
going on for that week. So one of my favorite
things is following Stephanie. Is that now we just send
back and forth, like look at this cool thing, cool stuff, alert, yes,
old stuff, look at this cool stuff.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
I don't want to make it awkward. But Bailey wants
to buy a house, and you help people houses.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
I do em buyers are my specialty. I've been doing
it for twenty years.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Oh yeah, I don't want to make it awkward, like,
oh you two are a cute couple, you should date.
Speaker 6 (20:07):
Well, everyone knows the realtor too, so it's it's a
hard business.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
But okay, just got to make more friends and.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Give Bailey one tip for buying a house or anybody
else who's buying a house, first time home buyer.
Speaker 6 (20:16):
If you're a first time home buyer, it's very competitive
right now. I would buy in the winter because you
can get you can negotiate things, repairs, price change, you know,
stuff like that. Right now, you got to come with
your best game to get and like the best houses
are gone and they're getting you know, five to ten
offers at least.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
On day one, they'll get five to ten offers and
you'll offer asking price and somebody will pay like you know,
x amount over asking price because that's what it takes.
Speaker 6 (20:40):
Yeah, I lost the two houses in the past two weeks.
They're both gone. Had an offer the first day over
asking price. Done deal like everything they want, they just
breaking it in.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Wow, I'll wait till the winter.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
There a good idea, Stephanie, thank you very much, thank
you coming in. This is one on one point three
Katie WB. We're gonna play a song by Alex Warren
when we come back. What are we going to do
to when these tickets?
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Jenny, Well, we did this earlier, so I think we
stick with it. Because Alex Warren was born on September eighteenth,
so we wanted the eighteenth.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Caller to call in.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
And you have to be a big Alex Warren fan
because this concerts huge and it's sold out and if
you want a ticket you got to literally drop like
three hundred dollars for it.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Okay, So here's an example, little role play. I'll be
the DJ. You be the caller that doesn't know what
you're about to win? Okay, ring Hello, katib Hi, Hi, yeah, Hi,
what are you calling for?
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Uh? Did I win?
Speaker 4 (21:32):
Well? What do you think you won?
Speaker 3 (21:34):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (21:35):
You tell me? Bro no works.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
You need to be excited, So we want Alex Warren
fans to call in. So if you're very excited, we'd
love to get you the ticket. So that is one
of the prequalifiable qualifications is you've got to be a
big Alex Warren fan to.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
See the show tonight. Call her number eighteen.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
What's the number six, five, one nine eight nine KDWB.
That is Alex Warren and we are giving away Alex
Warren tickets right now. If you are calling, you can
stop now because we do have call her number eighteen.
Why number eighteen, because he was born on September eighteenth.
We figured, well, why not? Why on the phone right now,
Lucky call her number eighteen, moments away from winning these tickets.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
Mimi, good morning. Oh wait, I can't hear her.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
Oh are you there?
Speaker 4 (22:26):
I can't can't hear Oh my god? Did she hang up?
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Did it disconnect?
Speaker 4 (22:31):
No?
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Hello, hello, Mimi. I'm messing with you. I'm just Memi.
I'm just playing. I'm playing with you.
Speaker 5 (22:41):
Memi.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Sounds like she is about to have a heart attack.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
You better stop playing around over there, David.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
This is this is what. This is what radio people love.
This is our dream winner. When somebody is so excited
like this, rather than where to pick him up. Yeah,
all right, you're gonna pee yourself.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
You don't.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
Me me.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
You can't be crying yet. Okay, you need to wait
at least till you get to the concert.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Memi, we love you. Catch your breath. You don't have
to do anything else. We're gonna get you your tickets.
We're gonna eat ticket over it to you to eat eat. Yeah,
well you know what transfer. Yeah, we'll do a little transfer. Okay,
you have a good day. Breathe, breathe, Okay, okay, bye,
don't hang up, don't hang up? Are you still there?
Speaker 5 (23:32):
Me?
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Maybe did she hang up?
Speaker 7 (23:34):
No way?
Speaker 4 (23:35):
Did you me? Me?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Just put her on hold for a second.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Okay, maybe she put the phone down to go pee.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Well, looks like she hung out. She'll call back. If not,
me me call back.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
We know who Mimi, We know who Mimi is.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
All right, Mimi, we love you. We'll get your tickets
for you and more coming up, I believe, pretty much
all day. We'll have more tickets all day.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Nope, actually just during our show.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
But what you can do now is go to Katie
WB's Instagram and you can win a pair of tickets.
We have a post on there. It gives you the
directions of what you have to do. You probably have
to like the post, share it, all that stuff. But
go to one on one three Katie w B. You'll
see a beautiful picture of Alex Warren and then you
can enter that way as well.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Okays, very cool. Let's get on with it.
Speaker 8 (24:16):
And now the stories that TMC and people magazine won't
touch Dave's dirt on kd WB.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
All right, let's get started. It's a weird day for dirt.
But we do have new music on Friday, New Music Friday.
Joe Jon has got a new song called Honey Blonde.
Let's check it out. And then also Alex Warren and
jelly Roll have a new song. It's called Bloodline. Now
what if Jelly Roll showed up on stage tonight And
(24:48):
Benson Boone's got a new song it's called Mama Song
on New Music Friday.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
It sounds like Adele, it really does.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
All right, we're gonna eat be eating burgers this weekend,
very likely wont By the way, I saw your picture
of you like grilling burger. Vunt's on the phone right now.
But you were grilling burgers last night for the first
time ever grilling in your life.
Speaker 7 (25:16):
Yeah, I've like helped my step mom here and there,
but I've never done it. So last night it was
the first nice day we've had in what feels like forever.
So listen and I went downstairs in our apartment building,
got some burgers and some hot dogs from high v
took a little time to learn how to light the grill,
which is funny because they make it so simple. It's
just like the ignition button. But we did it successfully.
And let me just say, your boy needs an apron
(25:37):
that says like chef daddy or something. Oh geez, if
you think about something to get me for my birthday,
Chef Daddy.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Chef daddy. By the way, a big anniversary in showbiz today.
Bailey and vont have been here for one year the
morning we made and so Clint Black wrote a song
for you, guys. Legendary country artist Clint Black wrote a
song for you guys.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
Would you like to hear it? I would actually like yeah,
let me let me play it for you. Here we go.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
One year ago today, this station made a big mistake.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
We wanted to get someone good, but we had.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
To get what we could take. A crazy cat lady
an a loud mouthed little kid.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
That's me. We should kept Drake ground, but look kid,
what we did.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
Kind of happy anniversary.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Bailey in Vaughan wants you to be funny, but it
turns out you counts.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
You talk a lot of the bs, and you talk
about your cats.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
But I love you, bo.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
So I'm here for that kind of happy anniversary.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
You two are so charming, and if Katie w B
don't work out, they're.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Hiring it all of the gardens.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
Happy anniverse for you guys.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Thank you, Clint Black Many Yeah, Mission Impossible opens up
this weekend. Leelo and Stache opens this weekend. I'll give
you one little tip that we've been watching the Lacy
Peterson American Murder and it's it's good. I mean, it's
it's as good as you would expect it to be.
So if you're into true crime, that might be something
you want to check out sometime in the next few days.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
So, Megan the Stallion in Glow Rilla, we're in.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
A little bit of a fight recently because earlier this
week Glow had reposted an Instagram story about being grateful
and she had put a song of Tory Lane's attached
to it, which is the person that Megan the Stallion
was dating and he.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Shot her if you remember that in the story.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
Yeah, so yeah, he was convicted of shooting Megan back
in twenty twenty when they were dating and the two
so Glorilla and Megan stopped following each other on Instagram
for a minute, but then since Glow has clarified that
it was an oversight on a quick repost and she
deleted it and they're following each other once again, so
that'd be I was very short lived.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
It just lasted a solid six days.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
Ic See, we were talking about Jo Jonas having new music. Well,
he's been spotted out with a mystery brunette in New
York City and so he just had his like really
kind of messy divorce from Sophie Turner, and he said
that he was nervous to jump back into the dating
pool and he didn't really want to see anybody. But
apparently he's been spotted with a mystery brunette. Joe, if
(28:36):
you're interested in brunettes, hit me up. I have brown
hair naturally, and I don't go to New York City,
but I do hang out in Minneapolis.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
So, well, you said messy divorce. What was messy about it?
Speaker 5 (28:48):
Just that it was like contentious, I think, and because
she's from England and he's obviously from here and they
have children, okay, and so I think it's just the whole.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Like custody thing. Yeah, he wants them to have like ports.
There's a lot of like layers to it. That I
think is what makes it a little messy.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Also, probably her relationship with Taylor Swift. Yeah, didn't Taylor date.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
Yeah, Joe, Yeah, forever ago if you were Okay, so Dave,
you and Susan get divorce.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
One of you has a relationship. Okay, that's not what
I set you up for.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Continue, you guys get divorce, but one of you actually
has a really good relationship with Taylor Swift. But the
other person is the one who is the bad person
in the divorce. Does the person who has the relationship
with Taylor Swift win? You know if somebody wins in
a divorce. Someone always wins in a divorce.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Oh yeah, yeah, the one who has Taylor Swift. Yeah yeah,
the winner, Yeah, still comes over and hangs out.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
So Sophie wins.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
Yes, I guess that's what I'm kind of was trying
to get. I feel like she kind of won because
she got to be a part of Taylor Swift's girl gang.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
So we have the car, the dog, I'll take Taylor.
Speaker 7 (29:56):
Speaking of new music, Charli XCX said, uh, probably not
gonna do any any time soon. And if she does,
she said, quote, it'll probably be a flop, which I'm
down for to be honest, because you know, last year
was her big year with the Brat Summer. You've seen
that ugly green basic logo, and the album was good.
It did do a lot, and I don't think she well,
she doesn't even think she could top it. I didn't
(30:16):
think Charlie Xx had much before this album personally. I
know she had the song Boom Clap, but other than that, yeah,
I think that was Charlie Xx's peak.
Speaker 5 (30:24):
Sorry, not sorry, I guess you know, it would be
fine to like not have the pressure of doing like,
you know, Brat Summer all over again.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
So I see where she's coming from.
Speaker 5 (30:32):
Where she's like, if it's a flop, it's a flop,
then I don't have to.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Worry about it.
Speaker 7 (30:35):
But wouldn't you want, as like a new emerging artist
to you know, now this is my peak or not
my peak, but like now I'm on top, Let's keep
doing more, let's keep striving.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Yeah, maybe she should talk to Taylor Sabrina.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
It's such a competitive business, it really is. I mean,
that's why artists don't slow down, because as soon as
you slow down, there's fifteen other artists that are there
waiting to take your place.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Especially like female pop artists. There's a thousand other ones.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Thousands, Hey, I get some of the very important to
mention today. A director over at New Horizons our teacher
of the day up in Lino Lakes. It is Holly Clover.
Miss Holly is the director at New Horizons. And I
think it's New Horizon, honestly because my kids went there
to New Horizon Academy and they loved it, So shout
out New Horizon.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
They're located all over the place.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
But also there's only one that is lucky enough to
have Heidi Clover, and that's up in Lino Lakes. Our
teacher of the day today
