Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dave Ryan Show on Katie W. B.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Bailey had a good thought the other day, what feeling
would you bottle up?

Speaker 3 (00:07):
And the one that I thought of, like very first one,
was the feeling of getting on the bus for a
field trip, like in high school or not college, high.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
School, middle school, elementary school.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Like the energy behind, like the smell of the bus,
like the gasoline exhaust.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
We're going to.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Fat yeah, either Valley Fair, like we're going to the
History Center.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Wherever you're going. It's exciting.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I would love to bottle that up and then just
like I'll smell it.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I would say the first day of vacation when you
wake up and go I don't have to go to
work today, or when you go to a water park
and you're in the locker room, you change into your swimsuit,
you walk out and you smell that pool and the
splashy water and you're like, oh, screaming like happiness of
so great. Let's do talk back Tuesday. Let us know

(00:55):
what you would bottle up if you could. What feeling
would you bottle up if you could.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
My name is Melissa from Mound, and the feeling I
would bottle up is when you it's winter, and you
go south and you hit a tropical destination and you
go outside for that first time and you smell and
feel that humidity in the air, yes, and you feel
the sun on you. And I would just love to
be able to feel that every day in the winter

(01:20):
in Minnesota.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
I love that. Here's a sweet one.

Speaker 6 (01:24):
I would bottle up the very first time I ever
woke up next to my partner. I would love to
bottle that up, just like the excitement, the newness the lob.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Bottle it up the very first time. There's one.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I would bottle the feeling of sitting in a hot
tub outside in the snow, drinking a hotkaker.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
That's a good here's wild.

Speaker 7 (01:55):
Ally from East Bethel.

Speaker 8 (01:57):
I would bottle up the feeling of becoming a mom.

Speaker 7 (02:00):
For the first time.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Oh, okay, nice one.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Here's another one, hey, guys.

Speaker 7 (02:04):
If I could bottle up a feeling, it would be
walking into my grandparents' host and feeling the worms and
the smell of the wood burning stove burning in the
family room and having soup going on the stove, and
seeing my grandpa watching cowboys.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
And my grandma and her pajamas.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Oh, I feel like we all have the same kind
of childhood with the same kind of grandparents.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Jenny, what would you bottle up? What feeling?

Speaker 9 (02:31):
I would probably bottle up the feeling of waking up
as a kid and walking out on Christmas morning to
see presents under the tree from Santa, because I just
it was just such a happy, happy time and like
it's still fun, but as a kid, it just was
so different.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
You know, it's like magical when you're a kid and
you can't sleep the night before and you wake up
in the middle of the night and all of a sudden,
you wake up and it's really there and it's Christmas.

Speaker 9 (02:55):
Your parents are like, go back to sleep. It's four
in the morning.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Vaught, what would you bottle up?

Speaker 10 (03:01):
We used to go on, like Bailey said, a lot
of field trips when we were younger at summer camp.
But when you jump in the pool for the first time,
it just feels refreshing on your body, like how chilly
the pool is compared to how hot it is, and
you were just having the time of your life swimming
with all your friends.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
It's so fun. I have another talk back. Oh, I
also like, sorry, are we playing one right now? Let
me play.

Speaker 11 (03:21):
Hi This is Candice, originally from Gurney, Illinois, home of
six Flags Great America and Gurney Mills Outlet Mall. The
feeling that I wish we could bottle up is nostalgia
related to special days at school, So the days when
the TV would be rolled in on the TV cart thing,
and then the day in gym class when we would

(03:43):
play with the parachute.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Thanks the party, the parachute out.

Speaker 10 (03:50):
You throw it up and then you try to run
under it and you sit on it so that where
the air stays.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Oh my god, at you.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
As like a theater person, like when you're going out
for the curtain call at the end and the lights
are blaring at you and people are applauding you and
you bow that. I would love to bottle that up
because it definitely makes you feel great. And I'm sure
it's the same for like sports, if someone's cheering for
you after you did a play or whatever, having that
like support of a crowd.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I don't think if there's anything specific to this buzeness.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Yeah, I don't really, I don't know. I mean, I
don't know, honestly.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
The first couple of times I was on the radio,
like when I grew up and I got to be
on the radio station that I grew up listening to
when I was seventeen years old.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
It was surreal. It was like, wow, I'm on this
radio station.

Speaker 10 (04:36):
Yea, it is super cool. I think you can confirm.
I guess Dave or Jenny. When yesterday right, we did
a bit on The Daily Bailey and I forget what
it was, but somebody mailed us pictures of something that
we did on the Daily Bailey and it was like, Yo,
people actually listen to this and to this show where
when people come to the fair and they tell us
how much we mean. I think that's a dope feeling
because it's like wow, like in this room, it's the

(04:57):
four of us, but we're talking to you in your
car or if you're home, and it's just so cool.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
I think that is such a wonderful feeling when people
come up and they go, I've been listening to you
for so long, and then they always say, I know
you hear this all the time, and let me tell you,
it never gets old. Because what do we all want
in life? We want to feel like we mean something
to somebody. And I think when somebody tells me that
this show is meant something to them over the years.
That's gold. That makes my day. I'll never stop telling

(05:24):
me that, even if you're making it up, even if
you have to lie, tell me anyway, Well you just
wore these in a couple of seconds, what feeling would
you bottle up? Leave a talk back with that red
microphone on the iHeartRadio app and we'll play you back
in a minute. What is on your radar this week?
It's one of one point three KDWB. I'm going to
throw out what is on my radar? Usually I like

(05:48):
fall back on an app or a TV show or
something like that. This time I on my radar is
a local business called Monk of Beans. Is Monk of
Beans over in Hawkins went there the other day, just
kind of on a whim. I was going to, like,
you know, I got done to the HI and my
friend Melanie and I was like, okay, let's get together.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
We're gonna play cribbage.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Where do you want to go? I said, well, let's
go to Caribou. She said, let's go to Monk of Beans.
I said that sounds weird. What is this place? Monk
of Beans? And so it's a little coffee shop. But
they also have wraps and keys and doughnuts and muffins
and things like that, and it's just like a real
it's like your grandma's kitchen.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
That's the best analogy.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
The chairs don't quite mash the tables, and tables don't
quite mash the drapes, and it's just kind of a mishmash,
but not in a gross way.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Yeah, And the people there are super nice, And they
did not pay me to say this. I did not
go in and go I'm Dave Ryan and I'll talk
about you on the radio if you give me free coffee.
I mean I would, but what if they said no,
That'd be embarrassing, right, exactly, So, so I paid full price.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
We enjoyed it.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
We sat there for a couple of hours, played cribbage,
and they were super busy, but not like annoyingly busy.
Monk of Beans on my Radar, Jenny on.

Speaker 9 (06:51):
My Radar is a show called Younger. You can watch
it on Netflix. There's quite a few seasons out, so
there's a chance you've already seen it already. But I
think it's being like pushed on Netflix right now because
it was like a requested like watch for me, But
it's basically like a forty year old divorce mom who
lies about our age to get a job in like
the publishing world because they're only hiring young, like out
of college people, so like it's based off of her,

(07:13):
just kind of lyne and pretending like she's like twenty
six year old. Twenty six years old.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Okay, right, Bailey.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
What's on your radar mine is the Chan Hassen Dinner
Theater because we talked about it last week about how
great the steak is there, And I'm going to see
Grease this Friday, which is starting or it already started
last January, I don't know, but it goes literally until
like October fourth, so it goes for forever. You have
tons of time to go see Grease. I saw it

(07:40):
the last time it was there and it was really great.
And also the chan Hassen Dinner Theater has great food.
Get the steak or the chicken chan It's delicious. And
also theater, So okay, what's on your radar mine is a.

Speaker 10 (07:52):
Black owned coffee shop in a downtown It's called a
Mocha Mama's Coffee. It's in the Minneapolis Central Library first
of all, the one in Moka Mama the owner and
she works there. She is the sweetest soul on the
earth and probably the best latte I've had in a while.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
It's called Mocha Mama's Coffee. Okay, So once again, mine
is another coffee shop. I'm gonna screwed it up. Monka Bean,
Manka Bean, Maccabean's Little Coffee Shop on Main Street in
downtown Hopkins, very charming.

Speaker 9 (08:18):
Mine is sho on Netflix called Younger.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Mine is the Chanhassen Dinner Theaters production of Grease and
Their Steak.

Speaker 10 (08:24):
And mine is a black owned coffee shop, Mocha Mama's
Coffee in nick Littmore.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Okay, so go check those out on our radar this week.
It is one of one point three Katie WB We're
still doing tell us why how you met?

Speaker 4 (08:39):
To get married?

Speaker 2 (08:39):
We're gonna do this in just I mean, you'll be
married in less than two weeks. You'll get married here
on the radio station and you'll get bands from Weddy
Day Diamonds. I will perform the ceremony. You can video it.
You can bring along your friends and relatives. We'll pitch
you if there's too many people we'll do it in
the sky room. If it's small enough, we'll do it
here at the studio so you can be on camera,
because it cool to do it on camera. Yeah, And

(09:02):
if you want to do the do this, all you
to do is go on the talkback feature on the
iHeartRadio app and tell us how you met. And if
it's a very sweet story about how you met, that'd
be super cool. We'll pick the best one and we'll
give you the wedding from Wedding Day Diamonds. We're gonna
play the lyrics shuffle in a little bit. This is
one of our favorite games of the week where we'll
say something like, give me a song with the word
day in it. Give me a song Jenny with the

(09:24):
word day in it.

Speaker 9 (09:25):
Right now, guys, had a bad day.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Good one, Give me a song with word trip trip.
I have no idea, and that's the challenge of it.
Sometimes it's easy. Sometimes I don't have one.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
No, no, no, no, you just train to Clarksville.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
But it's not last trip to Clarksville.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
We'll do it next on Katie WB Hang on, wait, wait,
we're doing this? Are doing this first? What are we doing?

Speaker 9 (09:53):
Yes, we are going to play this first.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
We're going to play this first. Let's do It's Bracy
Abrams on Katie W B.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
One on one point three. Hey, d double ub. It
is cold outside today with a high of twelve there.
But this is the heart of winter, this is the
this is it.

Speaker 9 (10:09):
It's soup season in time for some chili.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Well, we had to shut up.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
A minute ago we had a discussion of the ranker
did the top ten soups, and number one was chicken
noodle no real surprise. But then chili didn't make the list,
and I said, well, because chili's not a soup, it's chili.
It's chili. Beef stew made it right, But that's weird
because I don't think of that. I think as that
as beef stew exactly.

Speaker 9 (10:30):
So you can go vote on our pull on Instagram
if you're on the side of me. I think Bailey's
on my side too. That chili is a soup.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Yeah, I mean, as far as I'm concerned, it's in
like a soup family. So as long as it's family, yeah,
I'm going to consider it a soup.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
You know, I don't think so.

Speaker 9 (10:44):
When you hear your family, when you hear that's Olive
Garden slogan, thank you, but you can go vote on
that on Dave Ryan Shows Instagram story.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
What's the voting at right now?

Speaker 9 (10:53):
Well, I don't want to talk about it because not
a lot of people have seen it.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Yet. People have seen it, they need to vote. It's
not a lot of people.

Speaker 9 (10:59):
They need to go vote to decide whether Chili is
a super or not. And if you say it's not,
you're wrong.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
I'll tell you right now why she doesn't want to show.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
The results are The results are a day Jane, early.

Speaker 9 (11:08):
Start, Okay, it's an early start. We have to wait.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
It's a bit about a half hour, Jenny.

Speaker 9 (11:13):
Okay, how would you literally give a half hour if
we were voting for a president right now? Absolutely not.
Get at least a solid twenty four hours, at least
the length of an Instagram show installson.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
No, if you're concerned, you you would want twenty four hours.

Speaker 10 (11:27):
The show is called the Dave Ryan Show. Dave would
like to know, like right now, it's forty five percent yes,
chili is a soup.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Fifty percent No, it is not close.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
I mean, that's nothing you complain about.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, you're only forty five percent wrong or fifty five
percent wrong. Don't worry about it. We'll be back at a second.
Lyrics shuffle is coming up next on KD doub Ub.
Give me a song has word sunshine in it.

Speaker 10 (11:48):
Sunshine sunshine, Sunshine is sunshine.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
There's a bunch, it's a sunshine day. I'll go talk
on sunshine.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
I love this. Of course you do such a good song.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
We'll be back with lyric shuffles. Fun.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
It's coming up next on Katie w B three Katy
w B. Let's do a lyric shuffle and Jenny is
gonna give us a word. We got to come up
with a song that's got that lyric in it. It
is vaunt versus me, Dave. I'm ready when you are, Jenny.

Speaker 9 (12:22):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
This is Dave's word.

Speaker 9 (12:28):
Falling.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
I keep on falling in and out a live you
got it?

Speaker 9 (12:35):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (12:35):
That Alicia, Yep, that's pretty close. I thought he was
going to do that.

Speaker 9 (12:40):
You kind of did. Like the intro part. Okay. It
looks so good at the GRAM the other night, and
her speech is amazing.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
All right, here you go, vont.

Speaker 10 (12:55):
Best uh, best I ever had, best I ever had
because she hold me down and every time, I let
the break Drake, what was that? You never seen that
soldier boy interview? We just like Drake. Oh my gosh,
so legendary.

Speaker 9 (13:11):
First round, it's side one to one. We are on
the second. This one is for David.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Ready next.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Because I want you next, I want you next?

Speaker 1 (13:35):
What is that? What was it supposed to be?

Speaker 9 (13:37):
I want you back?

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Is how it goes next? I got nothing, honestly, Oh my.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Gosh, oh my god.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Oh okay, gotcha?

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Okay, no points on that one.

Speaker 9 (13:53):
This is for font.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Done, so tell me what you've done for me. That's
the Charlie Pooth song.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
I get what you lately?

Speaker 9 (14:10):
Does get that point?

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Okay? Good? Nice?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
This is David.

Speaker 9 (14:14):
Round three, vond has to Dave has one. This is
Dave's turn.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Mess Mess, don't mess around with my heart, with.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
My heart, get out of here. I'm a mess.

Speaker 10 (14:39):
Who sings that? That's how it goes. I'm trying to
think of who that is. It's like Iggy as sailor.

Speaker 9 (14:43):
You have to give me more than that.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
I'm a mess.

Speaker 10 (14:47):
It's called it's called I'm a mess. Another for a fact,
don't get you don't have to give it to me.
I just I don't know who it is.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Get that one.

Speaker 9 (15:00):
I don't think he gets that. All he said was
I'm a mess and the're gonna go and.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
That is kind of yeah. I knew the melody.

Speaker 9 (15:07):
And Bailey can decide doesn't get.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
The point, he'll get it.

Speaker 9 (15:11):
Dave won Vont three and that was a steal for vant.
So now we're back to Vont starting this round.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
M M.

Speaker 9 (15:24):
Blinded.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
I'm blinded by the lies.

Speaker 10 (15:28):
Oh I can't see your touch.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
That is that? Okay? Okay at that part, you're right, Yeah,
you're right.

Speaker 9 (15:35):
Yeah, okay, yeah he does see it there. Okay, Vont
has four, Dave has one.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
I feel good? Am I Lucky underwear on?

Speaker 9 (15:45):
I think mathematically you can't win at this point, but
we're still going to do this final round.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
Let's do it. I like it.

Speaker 9 (15:49):
This is for you, Dave can I I got nothing?

Speaker 1 (16:01):
I can you stand the rain?

Speaker 4 (16:06):
Can you feed the.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Hey?

Speaker 9 (16:15):
What's going on with you?

Speaker 4 (16:16):
Just difficult round? The lucky otherwear on? Yeah, borrow your
lucky underwear the show.

Speaker 9 (16:23):
Well, we'll give you this one, but you have officially
one at this point. Here's a word for you.

Speaker 12 (16:28):
Though found found, we fell in love and a hopeless
placed round.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Seriously, that was that was a blow out a playoff games.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
The best I've ever done it.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
This round. I think twenty twenty five is gonna be
I come back here could be all right, good job,
Thank you, Jenny. It is take the craye just ahead
of Dave's dirt. Next it's called sports car k.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
D w b.

Speaker 8 (16:58):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
We've got until like a week from today to get
your entry in for the Valentine's Day wedding. We're doing
a wedding here on KTWB and all you gotta do
is tell us why or how you met, and then
you might get the wedding from wedding day. Diamonds live
here on KTWGB.

Speaker 12 (17:16):
Hi.

Speaker 8 (17:17):
My name is Ashley, and how I met my fiance
was in good Oldson City. I was born and raised there.
He moved there after college and worked at a pizza
place that I worked at, and that's how we met.
And here we are fifteen years later, for beautiful kids.
And what sweetens this deal is our technically anniversary is

(17:40):
to twelve ten. Pick me, please love you?

Speaker 4 (17:43):
I say, hey, you know what's been a good chance. Okay,
so how did you meet?

Speaker 2 (17:47):
We'll pick the best one, whether it's like funny or
touching or heartwarming or whatever, and we'll get that person
here to the studio. Got to be available next Friday,
Valentine's Day to come in. You can bring your friends
and relatives or whatever and we will get married. I
can Mary are you right here on KTWB wedding bands
from Wedding Day Diamonds. Here's another example.

Speaker 13 (18:05):
By my name is Nancy and my partner and we've
met through Tinder, but we first met at a target
because I need to go grocery shopping, and then we
actually first met in our lives was when we were
ten years old at my church and his sister was nephews,
our people I grew up with at my church. And
now we're four years deep with a one year old

(18:27):
and we still haven't gotten married.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Okay, well let's get your Okay, if you're going, I
want to do that. Maybe you want to propose between
now and Valentine's Day. Maybe you've been engaged for a
while or whatever your situation is. Go on KTWB on
the iHeartRadio app and then tap that red microphone that
is the talkback. You got thirty seconds to leave a message.

Speaker 9 (18:47):
Your best source of entertainment news. According to Dave Daist
on KATWB.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
It's brought to you by six Pine two, Injured, Heimrol
and Lammer's Injury Law. Final Destination Bloodlines comes out on
May sixth teenth. Vont and I will be leaving early
and we're gonna go see the movie as soon as
it opened. Very excited about that one. For some reason,
Stephen Tyler is singing again. I'm not sure what the
context and lead singer of Aerosmith here he is singing again.

(19:34):
Stephen Tyler's got to be like seventy five years old
or something like that.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
When they say like, oh, he's singing again. Did he
ever stop?

Speaker 9 (19:40):
He had to damage his vocal cords and he technically
retired last year.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
I see, okay.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Conan O'Brien talks about why he's doing the Oscar hosting
gig again. Here's Conan.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
I'm just saying yes to things that I wouldn't have
done before.

Speaker 9 (19:57):
I'm a black belt in karate, now I'm a licensed neurosurgeon.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
I mean, there are all these things I'm doing now
that I didn't think I would ever do before.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
There's a movie called Kind of Pregnant. With Amy Schumer.
Have you heard about this one? Yeah, She talks about
the message behind the movie.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
I did find that people treat you a little and
people kind of just smile at you in like this.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Kind of weird way.

Speaker 6 (20:18):
Once you have a baby, you understand it because you're
like thinking, oh my god, your.

Speaker 9 (20:21):
Real life's about to change. But yes, and so my
character wanted, you know, could people be nice to me
and give me their seat on the subways.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
Apparently for a second time.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Justin bald Don Dony has mentioned that Taylor Swift in
his lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Now he's
accused Blake of leveraging Taylor's star power and their close
friendship to gain control of making it ends with us.
How basically, she said, yeah, I can probably get Taylor

(20:53):
to give us her song My Tears Ricochet for the
movie trailer. But maybe I will and maybe I won't.
So I'm not sure legally what that has to do
with anything. But the judge is really annoyed with both
of them for giving all this information to the press
and letting him get tried in the press. So the
judge says, if you don't stop this I'm gonna move

(21:13):
the trial date up because the trial is not until
a year from this March. So wow, most memorable super
Bowl halftime shows we're talking about Kendrick Lamar, perfect timing.
He won an armload of literally an armload of Grammys
the other night performing the Super Bowl on Sunday, and
Billboard listed the greatest Super Bowl halftime performances of all time.

(21:34):
These are in chronological order, not best to worst or
anything like that. Janet Jackson justin Timberlake. I still remember
watching that one. Paul McCartney came the next year. He
was the NFL's safe choice. The year following Janet Jackson's
big performance, Prince in two thousand and seven, it downpourt.
I think it was in Tampa, I think or Miami,

(21:54):
and he did Purple Rain during a downpour. It was
really really cool. Katy Perry back when we love Katie Pear,
apparently we don't anymore. But she did twenty fifteen Lady Gaga.
She stood on the stadium roof edge, and if I
remember right, didn't she zipline down to the field.

Speaker 9 (22:10):
I don't. I wouldn't say zipline. I feel like she
just like repelled into.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Ojaor something like that.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
And then twenty twenty two Doctor Dre and Friends with Eminem,
Mary J. Blige, Snoop Thitty Scent and Kendrick Lamar were
some of the big Super Bowl halftime shows.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
The best one was the in sync Britney Spears aeroson.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
They didn't mention that one that it must have been
before two thousand and four.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Oh it was so Yeah, that one was so good.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
So good?

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Are you gonna watch? Who here is not going to
watch any of the Super Bowl?

Speaker 5 (22:45):
Me?

Speaker 4 (22:46):
You're not going to watch any of the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
I don't really have there's I have no horses in
this fight.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Game, dogs, the hunt, or skin in the game.

Speaker 5 (22:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
I don't have any skin in this fight in the sea.
I don't have any skin in the scene.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Okay, Yeah, I'm gonna watch it, I guess because I
don't really have.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
You got nothing else?

Speaker 4 (23:04):
I don't really have anything else to do.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Do you want to go do something? You want to
go hang out? He did, until should we go hang out?

Speaker 2 (23:10):
No?

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (23:11):
All right, okay, well let me change your mind.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
The voice she is returning to Carrie Levin tonight I
believe and Ginny was way into the Bachelor.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
A little rundown of the Bachelor last night.

Speaker 9 (23:25):
Yeah, I just think that Grant the Bachelor's kind of
an f boy, and I think he's there for the
wrong reasons. And usually you say that about the contestants,
not the actual bachelor or bachelorette. But I don't know,
he's just rubbing me the wrong way. He's saying twice
on last night's episode. It makes me feel like he's
just trying to become famous somehow.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Probably, Well, don't you think a lot of reality show
stars that is kind of.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
What they do.

Speaker 9 (23:46):
I think a lot of like the contestants on shows, sure,
But when you're actually picked to be the bachelor or bachelorette,
usually you are a good person who's trying to find
someone to marry.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
But don't think you want to get a villain in
there once in a while just to stir things up.

Speaker 9 (24:00):
Not the person that's okay, not the main guy.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
Would you tell a close friend that they have bad breath?
According to a survey about half of us, definitely or
probably would. But would you tell a close friend if
they were in a toxic relationship? That number is closer
to seventy five percent. On the other end of the spectrum,
only one third of us would tell a close friend
they're overweight. Across the board, Millennials are more likely than

(24:27):
other generations to share a harsh truth, so particularly if
a friend drinks too much, interrupts people too much, or
has bad be Oh so, last.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
Story in the dirt.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
If you're in somebody's house and they say I'll offer
you a glass of water, do you say yes or
politely decline? If you're like most women, you probably say
something like I'm fine, thank you, but a TikTok. Creator
The Womanhood Guide says that women often refuse because they
don't want to put anybody out.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Can I get you a glass of water? You want
something to drink?

Speaker 8 (24:57):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (24:58):
No, no, I'm fine, fine.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
But except the drink is a small way to start
embracing the idea that you deserve to receive things. It's
not just about hydration. It's about shifting your mindset to
be more open to receiving kindness and opportunities. Start taking it.
Learn to receive. You have to start teaching yourself that
you don't have to hustle and grind for everything. So
next time, take the water, coffee, or tea, you whatever,

(25:21):
and enjoy it. It's a step toward feeling more valued. Plus,
I will tell you that the person offering it feels
great because they can do something.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Nice for you. And there's a rule in my book.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
I wrote a book called take a shower, show up
on time, and don't steal anything. And I said, when
a kid has made brownies or cookies and they go, look, Aunt, Bailey,
I made brownies. Do you want one? Even if you're full,
even if you don't like brownies, You take one and
you eat, and you eat it and you comment on
how wonderful it was. Because they want they don't care.

(25:54):
It's not about whether you want the brownie or not.
It's about making that little kid feel good.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
And if you say something like, oh no, that's got
too much sugar, too much fat in it, then that's
also bad.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Just eat the brownie and say thank you. Well would
you say it to a kid? Oh I have you
met any of my family like, oh I can't eat that?
Does that have gluten?

Speaker 2 (26:12):
So if you're if your little niece makes you something
in her easy bake oven and it's not all the
way done, it's got a thumb print, and dryer lint
in it. Yeah, you take it anyway and you go
eat it. Ah, that was really good.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
And if you don't want to put it actually any rout,
just go no no, no numb no good oh no,
they're little enough then they know pretend eating.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
I guess that is the.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
