Okay, I was thinking about this last night. I don't

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
I feel like this summer is when I'm feeling.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
The credit card debt real like that thousand dollars could

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Days, been on Reddit. It is brought to you by
Mary and Jane. Go try their microdosing mounts. So we're
gonna talk about modern trends that people will regret in
ten years. The top one that a lot of people
agree with is buckle fat removal. I'm gonna have Bailey
explain this because I don't fully understand this.
Speaker 5 (01:59):
Yeah, Buckle fat removal is when you get the like
the fat from your cheeks taken out, and so many
celebrities have had it done. You can tell because their
faces are super duper skinny, and their cheekbones are super
prominent and you can see like the.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Full cheekbone, not just the top.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Okay, so it's like they take away their essentially you know,
like baby face or anything that makes their face round.
They just take all of that fat out of their cheeks.
So like Miley Cyrus has likely had buckle fat rics.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Okay, because people were being like, yeah, they're gonna look
like zombies when they become senior.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
Systems because you're gonna end up losing that fat when
you get older anyway, right stop, all.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Right, go moving on from that, shaving their own completely
fine and functioning teeth for a veneers for pure esthetic. Now,
I don't know anyone who's done that, but like, I
think it's a bigger thing in like the UK and stuff.
I think that that's bigger there. But apparently that is
something people will probably regret in ten years.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
With Miley Cyrus. She also has veneers so many Celeriti. Yeah,
like Ben Affleck has Veneers. Tom has venears.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
You thought about getting veneers, right, well, I.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
Just my teeth are so small. It's not that I'm
actually gonna get veneers, but I would love to have
just bigger front teeth like the first like six, Go
and get them, no, because then they do actually like
shave your teeth down into.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
A little point that you're gonna have big, old, like
supermodel teeth.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I would.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
My dad has fake teeth. I don't know if they're veneers.
We say that there would, but that's a joke. I
think it'shington.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
You can look at certain people until they have venears
because they're too perfect and they're too white exactly, and
they're you know, they're like fifty one years old, right,
And I mean it's better than bad teeth, for sure. Yeah,
but I think bad like bad veneers are kind of
like bad plastic surgery. They just look very conspicuous.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
Actually when they're too big for your mouth, right exactly.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah, all right, these are modern trends that people will
regret in ten years. And I fully agree with this one.
The fact that cars nowadays have a screen. There's no
buttons or dials stuff in screens, yep, And it's like
not everything needs to be a screen, especially the important
functions to operate a vehicle. And this person goes on
to talk about how like when you go to an
air what you rent a car, how long do you
spend trying to figure out how to get your everything?
(04:05):
It's so frustrating. It's like, just give me the old
school radio dial. Let me tune my own radio. I like,
I might sound old by saying that, but I fully
agree that the screens.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
In cars I can't I honestly can't figure mine out.
I have a car that when I bought it, I
bought it during the pandemic. And they said, okay, well
now we're going to take you back to the tech
guy who's going to show you all the tech in
your car works. And I said, I'll figure it out myself.
To this day, I do not know when I turn
my car off, it says preconditioning, so in other words,
I guess it'll heat my car up or cool it
(04:36):
for a time that I said I'm going to come back,
I don't know how that works. Yeah, and it's like, okay,
do you want to do programm d AC or max AC.
I don't know what programm d A scene work means,
so I just turn on max ac every time.
Speaker 5 (04:51):
I just think some of those screens are going to
go out and then you're shanked, so exactly, like.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Just give us those buttons.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
So these are trends that are going to die and
like ten years or you'll look back and regret them.
The last one, which I fully agree with, as well
as oversized lips and micro sunglasses. It's like, why are
all these people dressing like sims in a heat wave?
Speaker 2 (05:10):
The Reddit user says.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
And I prime example is if you watch Love Island
this last season, the girls on Love Island literally looked
like bratstalls.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
They all had this like look.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
To them where they had huge clips and it's stick
out so unnatural. And these girls are like twenty two
years old. They're very young on these shows, so it
makes me sad.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Why did they do it?
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Because they substractive?
Speaker 4 (05:32):
Like there was one girl I feel bad because she's
getting a lot of online hate and she was like
on the show and then her mom was like, be
careful when you get back, just look like blonde with
big lips on Love Island or something. I remember she
was on the show for a very brief period of time,
but her lips were so big, and she went on
a podcast and was like, I'm okay with it, like
I think I look good, but she was. Her feelings
(05:54):
were hurt because she just people were going at her.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
And her name's Bana Bana. Yeah that's right. I should
have been, Oh gosh, it looks ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
It's wow.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Really pull a picture of a brass doll.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yes, I know it a brashed ball.
Speaker 6 (06:08):
I know.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
But if you don't, because Brad's was before, like Von's time,
for sure, do you know what basta are?
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (06:13):
But yeah, it was just when she got on the show,
it's like she's got this rock and bob. But then
I looked at her face and I was like, yo,
look like she got big fake boobies.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Dall. Well, yeah, I live for fake boobies. The fake
boobies get them.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Because then they're perky and you don't have to worry
about them saying down your belly button.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Anyway. That's Senny's been on Reddit, brought to you by
Mary and Jane.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
And if you want to try their micro docan melts,
I do have a discount code. Just put in Jenny

KDWB Strut forma. It's at Trap Farm Park in Egan
(07:44):
on September thirteenth. We'd love to have you out there,
so go do that. We'll be back in a second.
We're gonna try something we've never done on the show
before because people always go people suck, people suck, people suck,
and sometimes they do, but we're gonna do the others
and we're gonna call this people are so kind And
this is based on something that somebody did for you
(08:06):
that was so kind that they didn't have to. So
it's a different take on people suck. And we'll do
the positive side part. Radio app The Dave Ryan Show
on Katie w B. Hey, shout out to you if
you are listening somewhere else besides where our signal reaches
on the iHeartRadio app, thank you for being here. Set
a preset. I sat one, did one for the Dave
Ryan Show, because you can set a preset for KATWB
(08:28):
the Minnesota Goodbye. I set one for Cool One Wait,
and then I set one for the Dave Ryan in
the Morning Show. Because you can go back and listen
to anything that you missed, like later on today. Maybe
maybe you're listening at four o'clock in the afternoon. It's
a great time to listen to the Dave Ryan show.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
That's my favorite time.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Let's check us out. We want to do something kind
of a twist to flip the script on people suck.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
Be giuse.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
People will all say that, Yo, God, there's dog poop
on the sidewalk. People suck. But let's do something different
based on two things that have happened to me. So
I was at Great Clips and my stylist Tracy, I
love her. She knows exactly what I want. And she's like, yeah,
they discontinue this product, but I'm going to help you
figure out something similar. I'm going to special like whatever.
(09:12):
So she got this product for me. She did not
have to do it, and it was so nice for
her to do. People are so kind. Here's another one.
I'm going to Sturgis the motorcycle rally leave a week
from tomorrow. I need somebody to watch Bernie and Jennyves
would offer to but she's got other dogs and blah
blah blah. So a listener of the show, Shannon, who
(09:32):
we've met a couple of times, and she's married and
got a couple of kids, and she's got dogs, and
she came to the dog walk last week. She said,
I'll watch Bernie. Oh, and I know her well enough
to trust her, you know what I mean. And it's like, well,
I'll pay you for it. She's like, oh no, that's
what friends are for. People are so kind. So the
reason I brought this up is because I want to
(09:53):
hear your story. People are so kind instead of people suck,
which we all love to say, because sometimes they do.
People are so kind. Does anybody besides me have a story? Jenny?
I was so kind.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
I had the best day yesterday. Yesterday after a very
stressful day two days before because my battery and my
camper van died and I asked my neighbor for some
tools because I didn't have all the tools I needed
it for it.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
And he came over and.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
I start like tingering with it, and he could tell
like I just am not figuring this out, and he
just jumped in and started helping me with everything.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
So he got the battery out.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
I one and got a new one and he helped
me put the new one in and everything. And I
do not think I would have been able to figure
it out without his help.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
And he didn't expect anything in return.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
No, I did bake them cookies. I totally immediately.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
As soon as we were done, I went inside and
I was like, I'm going to bake you some cookies.
And I left him on his porch for him to
have a little snaggy at night.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
But yes, he was so kind to me.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Are so kind.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Mine is really little.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
But yesterday I got one of my tattoos touched up
like the coloring, and when I walked in, I said,
oh man, every time I come in to get a tattoo,
I always forget to hold on, Like I want to
bring like a stuffed animal to hold on too, because
it hurts to get a tattoo. And when I like
laid down to get my tattoo, the like office manager
came by with a little stuffed animal and gave it
to me so I could have something to hold on to.
(11:07):
And I didn't even ask that personally, just overheard me
say that and then just gave me one and I
held on to it real tight and it felt better.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
People are so kind. Okay, if you got one, then
call me or use the talkback feature. It's a perfect
thing for the talkback feature the red microphone on the
streaming on the iHeartRadio app. People are so kind. Just
tell me a little random act of kindness that somebody
did for you, or even send me a text too,
because you know what we do, like the bitch. I
guess on our nature to bitch. Yeah, I'm really good
(11:35):
at it.
Speaker 7 (11:36):
Yea.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
So a couple of weeks ago, I was talking about
how I want to take a list on more dates
or something like that, and a listener texted me was like,
let's do a spot you guys should do a SPA day,
and they sent me three different spas and then I
don't know how, but me going to I'm going on
a trip to Texas in a couple of weeks came
up and she was like, oh my gosh, I have
SPA recommendations in Texas too, and then she sent.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Me three in Texas.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
So now we're going to book those and hopefully just
go to Texas and vibe out.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
People are so coind.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
People are so kind, Desirae, People are so kind. What
did you see happen?
Speaker 6 (12:05):
So just last weekend, we had my daughter's grad party
and we started setting up at like seven am, and
all of a sudden, my neighbors came out and didn't
ask we need help with just came out and started
helping us, and they asked, we want to breakfast and
I said no, no, it's okay, it's okay, and they
went and got his full place breakfast anyway, and we
(12:26):
had like people setting people setting up a break breakfast
to everyone that was helping, and it was just it
was so stinking nice. I cried at the end of
the day when I thought about it, because they so
we had their way for us and they didn't have
to do that at all.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
People are so kind. Thank you think a desiree we
got text.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
Yeah, this text says I was at a black jack
table at Mystic with my husband and we were not
doing so well that night. This man hit one of
the extra jackpot games on the table and got up
to leave and tossed each of us one hundred dollars
chip and said, have.
Speaker 7 (12:54):
A good night.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Oh wow, Yeah, that's so nice.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
This time was so kind.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
My coworker me lunch after I picked her up after
an appointment.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
That's so sweet too. People are so kind.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Okay, if you got one, then let us know. People
are so kind. Use the talkback feature in the iHeartRadio
app because it's super cool. You got thirty seconds to
leave us a little note on people are so kind.
Speaker 5 (13:18):
My friend Nick, granted he is my friend, so he's
not like it's a stranger. But my friend Nick's goes
to goodwill savers all the time and he always comes
back with something for like the entire friend group that
he thinks that we would like.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Aw and in general though.
Speaker 5 (13:33):
He has us down to a t, like he'll know
exactly what to get each person, and like he'll get
He got me a sign that says come classy leaf
trashy that's like painted like orange and green with like
a margarita on the side, something I would love.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
And I didn't even ask him for it. He just
bought it for me. He's like, I knew you'd like this, So.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Think about something people are so kind instead of being
people suck, which we'll do tomorrow at this time. No,
I'm kidding. Here's one. Be you a talkback.
Speaker 7 (13:58):
I do inst the cart with my daughter and when
she was about two months old she's two now.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
There I was in a swordo in the order.
Speaker 7 (14:09):
And this random lady came up to me with her
three kids and just said, God told me to hand
you this, And it was literally eighty dollars in cash,
and I asked her why, like, why do I and
the special person?
Speaker 2 (14:21):
And she just said God told me to do it.
And I still remember her to this day.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Oh, people are so kind, are so kind.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
And here's another talk back.
Speaker 8 (14:31):
I'm a delivery driver for FedEx, and whenever I go
into this local coffee shop with their packages, they make
me a free coffee and a free water to go,
and it just really makes my day.
Speaker 9 (14:43):
You know.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Wow, here's another nice. I love that. Here's another one.
People are so nice. Every time my neighbor mows his yard,
he mows our yard too. Shout out to Matthew.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
That's so my dad does that for his older neighbor
next door.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I have some text messages here.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
This one says I recently lost my mom and needed
to go out of town for an extended period of
time to hold the celebration of life. A long time
coworker offered to donate their PTO because I mentioned I'll
have to.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Take some time.
Speaker 5 (15:15):
Really, I just thought that was extremely kind and janiturst
for her to even consider. This one says I was
overdue with my first baby and a bird flew into
my house.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Nikes.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
A few minutes later, I received a delivery from Ups,
and the driver spent twenty minutes capturing the bird.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
I'll never forget it. Wow.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Here's another text message. People are so kind is the
theme every winter when it's nose. My neighbor across the
street always plows enough of my driveway so I can
leave for work. I like this one too. We forgot
to oil our put our garbage pant bins out by
the curb. Our garbage man walked up the driveway and
brought them both to the curve. For us, it would
have been awful to go an entire week with stinky garbage,
(15:54):
and they didn't have to. They could have had the
attitude like you didn't put in by the curb, lady,
so it is your problem. Yeah, people are so kind.
Speaker 5 (16:01):
This Texas, my daughter's pet died. I borrowed a shovel
from her friend's mom, and when we picked it up,
they gave us a tiny bouquet of flowers they picked
from their yard, complete with a twine bow for his grave.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Grind.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Oh, I have one more talk back. I really like
this one.
Speaker 10 (16:15):
Yeah, Hi, I wanted to do the people are so kind.
A few months ago, I was just sitting in a
coffee shop, and I'd been having like a tough week
at work and just not feeling my worth and just summer.
Random girl, as she was leaving the coffee shop handed
(16:36):
me a little note that said like you are enough,
and it just was exactly what I needed.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Very nice. All right, we're gonna do that again. That
was kind of nice. It is KATIEWB. And now let's
get into the dirt.
Speaker 8 (16:53):
You're one stop for all the celebrity news.
Speaker 9 (16:55):
You need.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Dave's dirt on, Katie w B.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
We're let's see. I'm gonna pay a little clip of
this because it's cute the Muppets and Ozzy Osbourne actually
perform together. Here's Miss Piggy and Ozzie.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
Miss Piggy, welcome Ozzy Osbourne.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
We're gonna wrap the place down. Come one.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Okay, cute, I mean on.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Not such a lighter note.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
But there is a lot of footage being put out
there of the trial with Brian Coberger, the guy who
killed for Idaho University of Idaho students, and this statement
by one of the victim's sisters is something that I
think will go down in history.
Speaker 9 (17:39):
The truth is the scariest part about you. It's how
painfully average you turned out to be.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
The truth is.
Speaker 9 (17:48):
As dumb as they come, stupid, clumsy, slow, sloppy, weak, dirty.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Let me be.
Speaker 9 (17:58):
Very clear, don't ever try to convince yourself he mattered
just because someone finally said your name out loud.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
She also went on to say that her sister would
kick his ass because I mean, he killed her in
her sleep. You know, it's disgusting. And so she did
go on to say a few other things. But I've
seen a lot of people be like wow, like that sister,
the strength it took for her to say that I
could never get up on a stand and even keep
it together.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
No, not at all. This story is also a little
bit you know, touchy.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Malcolm Jamal order TV icon from The Cosby Show passed
away earlier this week. Well more informations coming out. He
drowned and his daughter, who's eight years old, was swimming
with him when he drowned. They got caught in a
riptide on a family vacation in Costa Rica. Thankfully, somebody
was able to grab his daughter from the rip tide
and she is okay. But whenever they grabbed, they tried
to grab him. They had to give him CPR for
(18:51):
forty five minutes, but they had to call it.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
Well, turning it around, Taylor Swift has now been made
into thirteen different wax figures, and five of them you
can find in the United States, and they each represent
one of her eras, So they're all over the place
in the United States, New York and Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, Nashville,
and in Europe Asia, Sydney, Australia.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Like, I guess the whole world loves them some.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
Taylor Swift and you can walk right up to her,
put your arm around her, be like yo, okay, let's.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Get a photo. She's not gonna say much.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
But Susan walked up through the Angelina jo Lee sculpture
in Hollywood and cuptorre boobs, and well, I thought that
was kind of funny because you know, maybe if it
was normally Angelina Jolie, Susan would not have copt he boobs. Oh,
she was really funny.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
She wouldn't have done it. If Angelina jole was actually there.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
She might have had. Mean, I don't know. If you
ever get a chance and you're like that's too touristic
and stupid, go to Madame Tussau's Museum. The figures are
so realistic it is super cool. It's a little bit
eerie because you almost expect them to be like a
real person that comes to life.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Wait for them to blink right.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
One story, Dirty's brought to you by six one two
Injured Heimer, Lammer's Injury Law. They were talking about celebrities
that regretted a role that they had. For example, the
most surprising one, Zach Effron regrets being in high school musical.
He says, I step back and look at myself, and
I still want to kick that guy's ass sometimes. But
isn't that the show that kind of put him on
the map?
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Promotion? But that kind of it is dead period. And

wanted to.
