Age Yourself with a Clothing Brand

Listeners call in to tell us what brands they wore in high school and we try to guess their age.

into in high school? Try to guess how old you are,
and then we'll see if we can do okay at
this one, because there's all kinds of different ages listening.
Maybe you remember wearing jor Dash Have you even heard
that brand?

high school?

So?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I wore Forever twenty one clothes and packed un clothes.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
Oh, she would be like a little email girly but
close to our age, Shell Bailey.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
See, I think she's going to be younger because Forever
twenty one wasn't really a thing when we were in
high school.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Maybe a little because.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I was maybe like twenty one when I was shopping
at Forever twenty one. So if she was in high school,
so I'm gonna say she's probably like twenty seven.

I'm going thirty, Kaylee.

I am twenty five.

We wore Jenko jeans and Baby Dollge's who I.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Don't know what Jenko is.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Janko J's They're like, they're a very nineties it's a
very nineties brand, and Baby dollph Tea is obviously that could.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I wouldn't be wild.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
If Beth says that she graduated this year, because that's
kind of.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
What kids wearing now. Say she's forty five, you think
forty five? Forty five? Yeah, okaycause if she graduated in
the nineties, she was born in nineteen eighty Ish, right,
I'm gonna go forty forty five. I think that's valid.
How old are you, Beth?

Forty two?

Speaker 4 (01:40):

I feel like we're using our brains, you know, kind
of like we're psychics.

That's a you thing, Dave, that is a me thing.
You would have been born then about nineteen seventy five.
You are probably close. You're pushing fifty. How old are you? Eric?
I am forty there.

Wow. What it was about. It's a brand of jeans,
wasn't it, Eric, Yeah, it was a brand of jeans.

You used to roll him at the bottom, you know, And.

Oh, yep they were the ish back in back in
eighty four whenever it was, I don't know. Thank you, Eric,

And Nicole, oh man, the biggest coolest brand was silver jeans.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Silver jeans, Okay, no googling, Jenny, Well, I just I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
It's silver jeans.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
What else was there anything else? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, there was Abercrombie and Tommy Hill figure.

Okay, so two thousand and five ish, so she was
in high school and too, so she graduates. You are
thirty six years old.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
I think she might be. I want to say, you're
a little bit older than I am, So I'm going
to go thirty eight.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I agree. Thirty eight.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
You guys, that's super close. I'm thirty nine.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Wow, we're getting.

This is actually it's kind of fun. Hello, Hey, Heidi, Hey,
what did you wear in high school? What brands?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
County seats?

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Oh my gosh, okay, just direct your feet to the
county seat exactly the jingle yeah, county seat has not
been in business for a long time. I'm gonna guess
you're probably fifty five years old.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Ooh, I'm forty seven.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Oh okay, dang.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
One of the first jobs I ever had, what mall
Mall of America? No. I also was going to say
contempo contempo casual, so oh I even know what that is.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, nice county seat.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Have you never heard direct your feet to the county seat?

The biggest one for like American Eagle, Hollister, Abercrombie.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
She's got thirty four, she's thirty four or thirty three
or thirty five?

Thirty four?

Speaker 3 (04:28):
I am twenty eight?

Speaker 2 (04:29):
What they were still big back in that time.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Wow, maybe I was updated, but I still liked them.

Are you from a rural area?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Okay, that makes sense.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
How does that make sense just because the rural area
is a little bit behind the metropolitan area.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Kids that drew up Yeah and over.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Yeah, yeah, school kids and as many options too, So
only like the really big stories like Maurice's was huge
and fond of Lac Wisconsin. You can still find those
in rural towns.

Yeah, really, yes, Okay, a couple of the more Hello, Leah, hy,
good morning, Good morning Leah. What brands did you wear
in high school?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Hollister and air Apostle Yeah thirty okay.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Air Apostle came out a little bit later than like
Hollister and Abercrombie, so I feel like she could be
a little bit younger than us.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
So I'm going thirty one.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Okay, thirty thirty one?

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I am thirty three.

Okay, Wow.

I were Guess and your Ball.

Okay, Guess and Jibo. Huh. You graduated and probably ninety
which would have made you born and say you are
fifty three years old.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Oh my gosh, you're so close. I graduated in ninety one.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Oh wow, nice job.

We did way better than I thought, we did way better.
