and talk about anything you want. Ask a question, make
a comment, complain anything you want. There's only a couple
of rules. We don't do shout outs, and we don't
do plugging your event like you got a yard sale
this weekend over on I don't know Kya Huga Avenue.
We are not gonna do a We don't do shout outs.

(00:23):
We don't do anything like that. If you do anything
like that, you will immediately be cut off and you
will hear this sound. Did you say the rule about
kids got to be at least sixteen? Yeah, we adore kids,
but a lot of time Mom wants to get her
adorable little Susie Lynn on the phone just so she
can hear Susie Lynn on the radio.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Now she is adorable.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
There's no question, but call me now six five one
nine eight nine kd WB.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
All right, you guys ready, Yeah, no phone screen Friday.
Call her number one. You're on the radio. What's your name?

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Number one?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Hello, Janita? What's up?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
So I got something for you? Jenny and Bailey.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Okay, this is not for you.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
I'm stealing off of your cookout routine. Okay, So you
dress up really nice. I mean you got on your
best outfit. Most people will say, oh man, you look
nice or oh man, that's a nice outfit. What would
a black.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Person tell you, Yeah, you have your Sunday Best on.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
You look fire?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
No, okay, Dave, but I would say Sunday Best was
a really good guy.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Repeat it one more time, Waneda.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
So you got on your best outfit. I mean you
got on the best fit you ever made, you ever had,
and I mean you just looked fine.

Speaker 6 (01:39):
And a black person will say to you, what I
think it's just something chill, like like where'd you get
that outfit from?

Speaker 2 (01:47):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Where are you going?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yes, because they want another reason where you go?

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Like that, Black people don't say you look nice, you
know you look good. They just ask, well, So if
you got on something really nice and the black person
says where are you going, that means.

Speaker 7 (02:00):
You look good?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
There you go.

Speaker 8 (02:01):
Jave says that to me a lot of times too,
when I like no, Usually he's like, you got an
interview later.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
I look a little bit nicer than normal, got an
interview with it? What's your interview?

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Twins Pro Shop. Yeah, okay, thanks, hate to have a
good day.

Speaker 5 (02:13):
I didn't get that job.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
By the way, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
No phone screener Friday. Anything you want to talk about?
What is your name? And if you're not there, we
just move on to the next one.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
That's fine. Katie w B. Hello, you're on no phone
screener Friday? What is your name?

Speaker 9 (02:28):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Here you it?

Speaker 5 (02:29):
It was Uriel?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Okay, what's up?

Speaker 10 (02:32):
Uriel? I want to say, uh, congrat to Dave on
a thirty second anniversary. And then I wanted to ask
how long have the rest of you guys been in
the radio industry and how did you guys get into it?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Well, first of all, thank you very much. We'll do
this really quick.

Speaker 7 (02:46):
Yeah, I've been in it for one year and I
got in it by chance.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Jenny, I've been in radio for about ten years.

Speaker 8 (02:54):
And I started interning with Dave in college because I
saw a tweet and intern John that used to work
on the show said hey, can you come at five
am on Tuesday morning? And I was like, for like
an interview? He's like no, like a shadow, and then
I was hired. I didn't even interview.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Wow, nice, I did radio all throughout college, and I
had an internship at Serious XM and then professionally radio
for almost two years now.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Nice, okay, thank.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
You very much, Katie'll being no phone screener Friday. Turn
your radio down to the background. What's your name?

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Hi?

Speaker 9 (03:22):
My name is Cory.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
What's up? Corey?

Speaker 9 (03:24):
I just want to call in and say that ro Hoo.

Speaker 8 (03:26):
Is my favorite restaurant.

Speaker 9 (03:27):
I go there all the time with my friend, specifically.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
For the case though the catho is bomb but sad news.
I heard a rumor that it's turning into a chee
cheese and it's no longer going to be a ro Ho.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Yes, please, that's not true.

Speaker 7 (03:43):
I think that is true. But the food is going
to be the same. I think it's just the branding
that's changing. Yeah, I think it's literally the same owners too.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Yes, I think it is too, Yeah, because.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Chee cheese used to be like Mexican, like lower quality,
like microwave fast food.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Oh no, And I don't think I think it's just
this one Roo in Saint Louis Park that's changing. I
don't think the one. I think there's a rowan Maple
Road that staying the same.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Oh hey, good news thing very much, Katie, will you
be no phone stream or Friday?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
What's your name?

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Hey, it's Rick.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Hi, Rick, what's up?

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Yeah, I'm calling in. Uh because four or five months back, uh,
maybe a little bit more. Uh, there was a bit
about somebody calling it or sending a piece of mail
that was all cryptic and saying something about Bailey. I
know what you did, that kind of thing. Yeah, and

(04:33):
I miss the next part about it. That was probably
the following day, where it was I think unveiled what
the deal was.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
So, yeah, I know exactly what's talking about. Rick.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Somebody wrote in and said, if you don't tell them,
I will, kind of like, I know what you did
last summer. And then it turned out, well, who's it about?
Turned out it was about Bailey, And so then you
went on the air the next day and they're like, okay,
I'll tell you what I did the next day.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
Yeah, And then I decided I didn't I didn't care
too because it's my secret to keep. So I blocked
the person on all socials and whatever, and they haven't
reached out because I think it was a lot of
people were on my side and they were like, if
we find out what this is work on our riot
Rerise at dawn. So I think they decided not to
say anything publicly at least, or if they did, I

(05:18):
didn't see it because I blocked them.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I made up some rumors though, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Would you say about me you killed?

Speaker 8 (05:26):
I did have seven toes?

Speaker 5 (05:29):
I have ten, thank you?

Speaker 4 (05:31):
But whatever it was, but I would I hate it,
did not know what it was. If everybody else.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Did, don't worry. I'll I'll tell you in private later.
No you won't.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
All right, We'll thank you. Rick Katie would be no
phone screen or Friday. You're on the radio. What's your name?

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Amanda?

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Hi, Amanda time.

Speaker 9 (05:51):
I just was curious when it's like the shift change
between you guys, and then when Sallin and Cold come
on the air and it's.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Like Ryan Seacrest, Yeah, what is that?

Speaker 9 (06:03):
I get so confused and I'm like, who is this?

Speaker 4 (06:05):
What is that?

Speaker 10 (06:07):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
All?

Speaker 6 (06:07):
Like?

Speaker 4 (06:08):
iHeart radios? Like I don't really understand.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
I'm not sure I understand the question.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
He works for iHeart Ryan Seacrest does.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
So it's basically so it's like, you know, Ryan Seacrest
does a great show. He's got a lot of pop
culture stuff in there. Everybody knows him, so they put
him in the middle of the day. But he's not
he's not live sitting here in this space Eagle Studio.
It's all pre recorded, but it's still it's a decent show. Yeah, okay,
thank you very much, Katie WB you're on no phone
screen or Friday?

Speaker 2 (06:36):
What's your name?

Speaker 10 (06:38):
Hey?

Speaker 11 (06:38):
It's happy Friday. It's been a minute, you know, busy
with non important things.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Yeah, all of us are.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
What's up?

Speaker 6 (06:48):

Speaker 11 (06:48):
I just I just want to let people know this week,
and it's if you have kids or you know, the
go fishing for free. I usually do it, but now
I have an excuse if the game organ stops me.
You know, take your kids fishing. It's free for adults.
And also if you're driving in chanhassen, be careful. There's
two snails fighting on the corner. They're really slugging it out.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
For a second, I was like snails fighting one. I
was like, what, no phone screener?

Speaker 2 (07:20):

Speaker 9 (07:23):

Speaker 6 (07:30):
The Room of Chia broke up or whatever.

Speaker 5 (07:33):
That I'm single. I am single?

Speaker 6 (07:34):
Yeah, Oh, whether you should have me.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
From from town? Where where have you been anyway?

Speaker 6 (07:46):

Speaker 6 (08:05):
It's cool, man, It's all love. It's all love.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
That's not true. That's not true. I haven't heard from
my man in months. I'm wondering where you was at.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
DJ Boogy. You moved down to Texas and you didn't.

Speaker 6 (08:15):

Speaker 2 (08:57):

Speaker 4 (08:59):
I want to know how often do you guys use
ce tips in your ears?

Speaker 6 (09:03):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (09:03):
After I shower to get the water out of my
ears every day, I mean just after I shower.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Yeah, once a month.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
Yeah, I'm like, if they're feeling a little crusty, I
get in.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
There with Jenny not as often as I should. What
about you every day?

Speaker 4 (09:18):
But I feel like I shouldn't.

Speaker 8 (09:19):
No, you're not supposed to use ce tips. You're just
pushing the crap into your ear, you see. I don't
like push them in hard.

Speaker 7 (09:25):
I just get the water, Like I wick out the
water from my ears after I shower.

Speaker 8 (09:30):
Now I'm feeling like there's like Duncans grubs.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I don't know, Katie WB no phone screen or Friday.
What's your name?

Speaker 9 (09:42):
It's Carmen.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Everybody Carmen, what's up?

Speaker 9 (09:46):
So last week I got a puppy.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
I saw your puppy. Yeah, I saw your puppy. I'll
follow her on Instagram.

Speaker 9 (09:54):
And can we just say having a puppy is like
having a newborn all over again.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
How's the puppy tree?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Yeah, well, it's like in and out.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
You got to clean up messes. They're very playful. They
want to chew things.

Speaker 9 (10:08):
We'll call I'm litter training because the type of dog
I have. They don't like things on their belly. I
got a mini docs and and in the wintertime, they
don't like snow on their belly. They don't like grass
on their belly. So I'm motor training. Or she's doing
halfway decent. But my god, at least she wakes me
up in the middle of the night to go to
the bathroom. Otherwise I'd have a mess in my bed.

Speaker 7 (10:32):
They're so cute, and they got their big little pads
and their little faces.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Didn't you send Susan? Didn't you send Susan a picture
of it looked like a German shepherd.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
But it was white.

Speaker 9 (10:44):
Yes, beautiful dog.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Name is Tofu right Tofu? Yeah, Tofu.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Yeah, I'm trying to convince Susan a dog for Father's Day.
All right, no phone screen for Friday. You're on the radio.
What's your name, Paula? That's all right, we'll move in
the next one. No phone screen or Friday six, five, one, nine,
eight nine kd WB.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Hello, what's your name?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Tiffany?

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Tiffany? What's up?

Speaker 3 (11:09):
So during the night I thought something crawling on my arm.
When I woke up, it was a tick before so
I heard fall and say that one on olive this
year already? Okay, I just want what I need to know.

Speaker 8 (11:23):
Oh man, my sister just had one too, like a
week ago.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
It's always a surprise.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Could you feel like a little tickle and then you
look and there's like a tick on your arm?

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (11:33):
I know that you're supposed to like pinch them, because
we used to get ticks all the time when I
worked on the farm. And if you want to kill one,
you either have to like split it in half with
your fingernails, which is super gross. Or what we did
was we'd take a piece of scotch tape and we
would put the tick on the piece of scotch tape
and then fold the tape over and then it would suffocate,
Yeah and die.

Speaker 8 (11:53):
Are you supposed to kind of hold on to it too?
And Kate like certain kind of ticks to make sure, like.

Speaker 7 (11:59):
Yes, but if you put it on tape, then you
could hold on too, I guess you could.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Yeah, thank you a lot.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
A couple of more calls on No Phone Screener Friday,
then we'll wrap things up. Hello, you're up next on
No Phone Screener Friday. What's your name?

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Sarah? Tara? Sarah yep, Okay, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
I want to know.

Speaker 10 (12:18):
Did Jenny ever start her only Fans Jump Rope page?

Speaker 5 (12:22):
I did not, thank you for asking.

Speaker 8 (12:25):
I had to go through a process of verifying my identification,
sending pictures of me with like my ID, my ID
next to my face, just pictures of the ID, and
it kept saying that the ID pictures weren't working. And
I've tried multiple different things, saved them as like a JPEG,
p ANDNG like all my Yeah, and so I kind
of gave up for a while.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
I'm not saying I'm not going to do it.

Speaker 8 (12:44):
I just like got frustrated with the process and so
I haven't started it.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Don't quit, Jenny, go do it. It'll be a hit.

Speaker 5 (12:52):
I'm going to keep chasing that dream.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Okay, a couple of more calls and we're going to
wrap it up. No phone screener Friday. We're basically if
you've never heard it before, we don't screen the phone calls.
We put you on live. We have no idea what
you're calling about. We just trust you not to get
too crazy. Let's find out what's next. What's your name?

Speaker 9 (13:14):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (13:15):
So I've been listening to you guys literally my whole life.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Well, thank you, but.

Speaker 9 (13:21):
Recently I've been listening to a segment on.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Wait say that, Say that one more time because the
music cut you off. You've been listening to a segment.

Speaker 9 (13:30):
On what it's called Brick and Jubile in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
It's based out of Seattle. Yeah, and they do.

Speaker 10 (13:36):
A segment that I listened to on repeat called the
Second Date Update, And when I listen to them, I
feel like.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
I'm cheating on you guys.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
So I'm wondering if you guys would ever do the
Second Date Update segments.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Well, we actually started that.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
That was our idea, and everybody around the nation stole
it from us, but we didn't call it Second Date Update.
We call it two sides to every day, and we
didn't until we kind of got tired of it. And
then other radio stations, including one here in town, stole
that bit from us and they call it second Date
Update and it's it's it's been a little bit frustrating
that I don't feel that I should give away the

(14:08):
bits that we come up with for other shows to
use on their show.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
So but Brooke and jew I don't. I don't think
they're togethering.

Speaker 8 (14:15):
No, no, I was gonna say, what you're watching is really
really old content from them, because Brooke is on a
show by yourself and Jubiled does a different show on
his own. So stuff started going viral of their Second
Date updates and that's why everyone started watching that stuff.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
But that's from like ten years ten years. Very both
very talented, both wonderful people. But I do feel like
I am owed some royalties or something for copyright infringement.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
You should sue, Can you sue?

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Hey, thanks for calling, have a good day, bye bye,
And that is going to do it.
