Speaker 1 (04:06):
I get a story that I'm gonna tell you where
I totally put my foot in my mouth by saying

Speaker 4 (04:12):
I was out of town.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
And They're like, oh, it's in the middle of the

Speaker 1 (04:21):
We are at the fair until three o'clock. Jonah Moray
is going to come by a little while. He just
called said he's in traffic and stuck in traffic. Yeah,
his traffic is the worst I've ever seen.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
Was. I mean, we all drove in at like eight
thirty this morning, and we definitely were standstill for a while.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Yeah, the entire time.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
But shout out to all the people who have come
by and said hi, stood in line to say hi,
and we love meeting people. To come by the fair,
and we're gonna do Jonah Moray. We get a chance,
we'll do some like giveaways here at the fair. Get
a chance. Come by, Bailey. What are you gonna do
with you when you're done at the fair? What are
you gonna do at Where are you going to? Bambarama?
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Thank you for asking bline to miny donut beer. I've
been dreaming about it all day and everyone walking up,
I'm like, hey, you like beer, Well you're gonna love
the mini don't it beer?
Speaker 7 (05:04):
So I can't wait for that.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
I had the dill pickle iced tea a little while ago.
Speaker 7 (05:08):
It's so good, so good, Yeah, delicious. Thanks for letting
me try it.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Appreciate it absolutely.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Come by the State Fair, enjoy yourself, give yourself some
extra time and be patient because traffic is not the best.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
And we'll see you at the fair.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Live in the State Fair.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
It's KD W B.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Mike is BoNT, I'm Bailey. I So Jonna Murray is
gonna be here any minute.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
He called us and said that he was stuck in traffic,
which is it's pretty usual. Yeah, you gave me a
key early. I don't know if I should give the
like to get here on time.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Well, I mean, who knows what it's like now this morning.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah, I came straight down Como.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
I put in a Nicos, which is like a Mexican
restaurant down the road, and they just came straight up.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (05:46):
VN just said.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
He was like, we're like, where am I supposed to go?
Speaker 2 (05:49):
What am I supposed to do?
Speaker 3 (05:50):
And then he walked in here. He's like, yeah, it
took me no time at all, because yeah, I helped
you through.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
It, bro, you and Dave had so many detours. Yeah,
and then I did it, so we made it crazy.
Jonam Moray's on the way.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
He might bring his girlfriend, who might try to beat
Bailey up because she's been she's been in indirectly hitting around.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
I can take her probably I mean, I have a low,
low center of gravity, so I could probably.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
Let's respond to that, jar Joonahmurray is gonna be here
in a little bait. It's gonna do his new song,
play some games, do some giveaways.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Come by it you're.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
Kind of hot shirt or at a KATW booth at Carossel Park.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
We'll see you soon.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
It's KATWB KATWB live at the Fair with a very
special guest. Jonah Moray's mom is right here with us
at the fair. High Mom, Hi, Jonah's gonna be here.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
In a little bit. Do you have any memories with
Jonah coming to the fair as a kid.
Speaker 8 (06:35):
Absolutely, even when he was a baby, I'd walk him
around the fair and the stroller and we'd do sixteen
hour days, all.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
The kids so amazing. We're gonna do his new song
here in a second, right.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
What is it called. It's called Hearts Back Home? And
what is it about?
Speaker 6 (06:49):
You know?
Speaker 8 (06:50):
Yeah, it's about having wishing that you could be in
two places at once and kind of reminiscing and wishing
you could be home with family.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
Some of the Minnesota's on Jonah Murray at Heart's Back
Home on k d WB just.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Thrilling the crowd with some magic tricks here at the
Minnesota State Fair.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
How to go, Bailey?
Speaker 3 (07:10):
I love magic and it was very magical. I don't
know how you did it.
Speaker 7 (07:13):
It was extraordinary.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
There's more to come and Jonah Murray is going to
be coming up in a little while here on Katie,
will you be vont What.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Are you doing at next one? We're done to the fair?
Where are you going?
Speaker 5 (07:22):
I kind of want to go see if I can
drink myself not to death, but see how many of
the new drinks I can try and get a little tipsy.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
Okay, that's my boy?
Speaker 2 (07:31):
All right?
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Good job.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
So you know you never know who you're gonna run
into it at the Minnesota State Fair. Oh my god,
look it's it's it's Jonah Murray.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Hello, Jonah, Hey, Hey, how's it going.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Jonah is a buddy of the show and was in
Why Don't We for years? You're from still Water, But Jonah,
I want to go back farther to your boyhood.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
You come to the State Fair. What do you remember?
Speaker 2 (07:50):
I used to be an ice delivery boy at the fair.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
So an ice boy.
Speaker 9 (07:55):
Yes, an ice boy. You might see one if you're
walking around the fair. There's like a big cart with
a big pile of ice, and some some.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Kid is walking around with all this ice.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
That was me.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
So you're like fourteen fifteen, sixteen years.
Speaker 9 (08:09):
Old, Yes, and I worked the entire time and maybe
made six hundred seven hundred bucks and it.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Was the biggest I mean, it's a big deal.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Thirteen years old.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
That's bad. I'm read that sounds like some hard work though,
because ice is not light. You can't around buckets of
ice are pushing a cart.
Speaker 9 (08:22):
Yeah, it was hard work, but it also you know,
I remember back in the day, I would come over
to the kitty to b B booth. I would wager
with the different like uh, the different boots around and
I'd get like a turkey leg because I'd give them
extra ice. And then I take the turkey leg over
to one of the katy to B B DJs.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
And you know, oh yeah, and get like a T shirt. Yeah,
whole thing. I was like a barterer.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
There's a lot of bartering in the fair because like
the workshop on his stick, people will take something to
the apple pie on his stick people.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
It's crazy. Let's talk about your fair foods.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Joanah, give me, like, in no particular order, your top
ish fair foods.
Speaker 9 (08:57):
Top ish fair foods. I gotta go with big fat
bacon number one.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
Now that's surprising. I love it. That is an unhealthy choice.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
I know, but it's good, okay.
Speaker 9 (09:06):
And then Tom Minidus okay, and then Sweet Martha's okay,
and then the fried pickles.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
The fried pickles are astounding, okay, incredible? What are yours?
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Mine are definitely pork chop on a stick. You're gonna
make fun of me because one of them is fried smelt.
Do you know what smelt is? Never it looks like
a bait fish. Okay, it's a fish. It looks like
a bait fish. And if it's about smelt smelt, then
it's about this. If you cut a sharpie in half,
I'm looking at sharpie right now. If you cut a
sharpi in half, that's about how big they are. You
dip them in tartar sauce and it's like a fish stick.
(09:38):
But then i'd say probably after that, that's like your
favorite thing. That's my second favorite thing. Yeah, don't look
at me that way, for you're giving me a weird look.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Ray, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
So then as far as attractions anything, do you go
on any attractions? You go on the Midway, you win
a giant stuff pig or anything.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
I think I might.
Speaker 9 (09:54):
I mean, my girlfriend's here and I have a show
later tonight, so I have some time to kill so
I feel like we might.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
I might try to go winn a prize, do the
do the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
But how embarrassing it would it be? Just spent seventy eight dollars.
You got her? You got her an inflatable hammer.
Speaker 9 (10:11):
Yeah, it's like, okay, hey, if anyone's listening. And when
it comes to my show tonight eight pm at the
West End Market Stage, my girlfriend and I are going
to do a little duet tonight.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
That'll be fun. And then also, my new song Hearts
Back Home is out so home.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Just played it on the radio a little while ago.
It's a great song and could be on this way
to becoming a big hit. So Joanah Murray, thanks for
stopping by. Good luck whenever you're in town. I know
you're in Nashville now and around the world, but ever
in town, you're always welcome to come by the Space
Needle Studio or here.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
At the Fair.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
Hey, Ryan in the morning show at the Menace Sola
State Fat. Don't you know always scooch. I have such scooch.
I have said scooch multiple times. Say I was like, guys,
let's scooch over here a little bit, because the sun starts.
Speaker 7 (10:51):
Getting our eyes.
Speaker 6 (10:52):
We're taking pictures and let's not let's do the electric
slide over here.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
I'll tell you A couple of weeks ago, I was
I don't know where I was, but somebody I asked them,
where does it sound like I'm from?
Speaker 2 (11:00):
And they said the Midwest.
Speaker 7 (11:01):
Really, I feel.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Like I've picked up the Midwest.
Speaker 7 (11:03):
No, I don't think you have either.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
It took me probably ten years to get more of
that Minnesotan accent with Skans and access scans.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
Yeah, so both have've spent pretty much your lives at
least in the Midwest.
Speaker 6 (11:15):
I have.
Speaker 7 (11:15):
I live. This is where we are.
Speaker 6 (11:17):
You will be a Midwesterner today on Jersey and you'll
never move back to Jersey. But we are at the
Minnesota State Fair until three pm today, and I'm going
to do a shameless plug for myself. I will be here, Jenny,
at the state Fair till tomorrow. If you're coming out
to three to six pm, So swing by and say
hi and come grab a T shirt.
Speaker 7 (11:36):
We're located in Carousel Park.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
World famous one on one point three, Katie, would you
be say world famous because I get to a shout
out to somebody who listens in San Diego. Shout out
to Marianna from Cassie who came up to the fair
ground a little while ago and said, Hey, you got
a friend who listens to your show all the way
in California and San Diego.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
And I'm like, wow, that's cool.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
And they listen on the iHeartRadio app and all this
weekend you can and Lord tickets whether you're listening San
Diego or Santa Monica or Santa Clara, San Francisco, Sacramento.
I could go on and on or hear in the
Twin Cities. Keep it on one on one point three,
katiewb or on the iHeartRadio app for Lord Tickets.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
All right, Dave Ryan.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Show at the Minnesota State Fair. You know it's a
hot seller here at the State Fair. Is the your
kind of hot shirt, which is because it's kind of flirty.
Have you met anybody with the U two in the
front here that are wearing your kind of hot shirt.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
Have you met anybody with the shirt? Shat anybody special
you have you have?
Speaker 6 (12:28):
They're they're nodding, they're shting, they're they're super effective.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Yeah, we did have a couple of people met each
other a little while ago. There was a little proposal.
Speaker 7 (12:36):
As yes, shout out to Lydia and Aida.
Speaker 6 (12:39):
They proposed, well, Lydia proposed to Aida, and it was
so sweet.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
And I almost had a tear in my eye and
I'm so happy for them.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
And it's kind of becoming a tradition because this is
two years in a row that someone's proposed at our booth.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Well, it was funny because we didn't just do a proposal.
We assisted them. We said, okay, we're going to play
a game here. So they faced each other and we said,
name things that you might do at the State Fair.
So once said, you know, go on the giant slide.
One said go on ye old mill. One said go
see the cows. And then one said, asks you ask
someone to marry you. And she got down on one
(13:10):
knee and pulled out her ring and her friend was like,
so super cool.
Speaker 6 (13:16):
It was very very sweet. Well, we're hanging out at
the State Fair. Not too much longer today, but we
are all going to be back out here on Thursday,
eleven am to one pm, so you do have another
chance to meet all four of us.
Speaker 7 (13:27):
It's me Bailey, what's up, vont And the one.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
And only Yeah me Dave. Thanks for coming by the fair.
We'd love to see you here with Katie.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
I gotta say this is of all the state fairs
that I have gone to, the coolest temperature of the
state fair have probably ever felt ever, because we used
to call it the Great Minnesota Sweat Together because it
was always so hot and we would stand in the
blazing sun for four or five hours and we would
just bake and get his sunburn.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
I think Jenny. Last year I had to bring.
Speaker 7 (13:56):
Sunstrem it was like ninety degrees in the sunny.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
I had to use your sunscreen and it's just miserable
and you walk around you sweat and then ah. But
this one has been very very nice. Yeah, very like
almost chilling. People like like wearing jackets and sweatshirts.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
My legs are cold, very brisk.
Speaker 7 (14:12):
It's brisk. It's a brisk day, but it's not bad.
It's perfect fair weather.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
It really is so you're pretting in a good day
to come to the fair. If you've been out here,
it's gonna be a weather girl. Jenny is gonna be
killed cool the next couple of days.
Speaker 6 (14:22):
Yeah, I'm gonna be here Sunday three to six pm
and then also Monday eleven am to one pm.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Come by and say hi.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
We get the KT with you be apparel that we
would love to show you. There's beautiful shirts that fallon
and cold have a shirt. There's a regular classic KDWB
retro kind of what a cruise sweatshirt, and a bunch
of other ones too, including the Dave Ryan shows your
kind of hot shirt.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
Look over here at this guy.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
He's wearing a shirt from probably nineteen ninety five. I'm
going to get something like that and that's not I
mean seriously, that's a classic one too. But you can
get a shirt here that will soon to be a
classic from the State Fair with KTLGB
