Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Can I tell you guys something else I
(00:01):
did this past weekend that upset some people. Yes, okay,
So I had a friend who asked me to come
do this photo shoot for.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
A company he's launching.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
And we're down in Bloomington at someone's house and we're
taking photos and the vibe was camp themes.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
So we had a bonfire going. Yeah, okay. Well the
neighbors were not happy with that. Okay.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
They were like, hello, the air quality is garbage. True,
there are literally like warnings everywhere stay inside, and you
all decided to start a bonfirem okay, only adding to.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
The poor air quality. Didn't you tell them that you
were a model in this moment? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (00:35):
I did.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I was like, do you know I am, I'm going
to amateur model.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
So anyways, they were very upset about the fact that
we had a bonfire going, So we upset the neighbors.
Now I want to hear, though, how your neighbors upset
you recently, ticked you off, annoyed you, frustrated you, whatever
it might be. I did ask this question on Facebook already,
and so many people have bad neighbors.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
It's insane. I am so sorry. I am very lucky
that I do have great neighbors.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
But for instance, Marla said, letting their dogs bark incessantly
at seven am on the weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
That is such a jerk move. If your dog is barking,
bring them inside.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Yes, okay, they get to go out and do their
little potty break and then they come back inside if
they are barking. Kristen said, they took down their fence
and enjoy sitting down their deck and can see right
into our yard. And no, I can't build a fence
as they are higher up and would still be able
to see into mind.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
So they basically like wanted to open their yard up. Man.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
I also have like privacy fences if for some reason
they're my fences, so I have no problem.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Like my neighbors could never take them down. But if
they had a fence up and they took it.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Down, I'd be like what, Yeah, I would never go
in my backyard ever.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Again, I don't think. But we want to hear from you,
so please give us a call.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Let us know what did your neighbor do recently that
ticked you off? Six nine eight nine KATWB You can
text in as well.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Now we can leave us a talk back on the
iHeart radio app. Just hit that red microphone button and
talking to them. Tell us what your neighbors did to
take you off? I mean, I'm thinking of me personally,
my upstairs neighbor one. I really like her. Her name
is Sarah. Put her on the last. I mean, how
many Sarah's are there in the world. So her name
is Sarah. I've met her a couple of times, and
(02:19):
she's really sweet. But that girl wears brick shoes, I
swear all of the time, and she is constantly walking.
It would be one thing if she's just like walking
like across her apartment, but I feel like she's walking
to one side of the apartment, touching the wall and
then turning around and walking back the other way, touching
the wall, turning back and walking the other way, Like
where are you going? There's we have seven hundred and
(02:42):
fifty square feet.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Ye where are you going?
Speaker 1 (02:44):
You live in a man like? You don't live in
a mansion. Now mansion, bubby, You live in a one
bedroom apart yea.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
And just back forth, back and forth back forth, or
like if I'm taking or trying to take a nap,
she'll suddenly be at home on you know, two pm
on a weekday and then doing circles in the bedroom
because her bedroom room is right above mine. So I
do hear her having sa actual relationships every so often.
But god, I hear everything that girl does. If she's singing,
I can hear her singing, if she's walking, I can
(03:11):
hear it as though she.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Is right next to my face. Oh my god. Friday.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
When I was like twelve thirteen, I lived in a
house that was connected to other houses, and I used
to play the drums constantly, so I could only imagine
how annoyed my neighbors was annoying. Yeah, you were like,
we didn't live in a house that like I had
in my own garage, or like we like a standalone house.
So everybody, I'm sure to the left and to the
right of us were like, gosh, get this kid, and
I would do it for hours.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
I didn't care. Yeah, oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Some texts coming in It says not taking care of
their lawn for months and then finally deciding to mow
it at seven.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Am on a Saturday. Yeah, that's I have.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
I do have one neighbor that mosts are lawn at
like nine thirty pm.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
A lot of time.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
PM yes, in s I'm like, bro, it's gonna get dark.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
What are you doing?
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Also, that's annoying, think of all the us and he's
probably getting like eaten up.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
But like that's what he gets. It's doing it that late.
It's I don't get it.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Another person said, my neighbor lets her dog puke all
over the hallways and never cleans it up, Like, are
you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (04:11):
So yeah, I'm so sorry. That's so disgusting.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Another person said our neighbor got the loudest, most redneck
muffler truck I've ever heard, and it's he starts it
revs his engine at five thirty am every morning, and
my babies are sleeping.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Probably not anymore, not anymore, They're not gross.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Another one says, my neighbors scream out their window for
my children to stay away from their fence because the
fence cost them ten thousand dollars and they don't want
kids touching it.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
And she also swears and screams at the kids. I'm
so sorry that you're dealing with that. We have a
few more in text Bailey, you got some of the Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
This one says my neighbors let there's some pose empty
into my yard and now it's a swamp that's gross
and disgusting and probably smells bad.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Our neighbor has a.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Daughter who screams constantly when she's outside constantly. So we
play heavy metal music until they go inside.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yeah, I mean wait an yeah, I was.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Gonna say, you gotta do something sometimes. I remember one
time in college I had friends who they also could
hear their like upstairs neighbors having sexual relations, and then
they would put on adult films on their computer and
then blast it through the vent to you so that
they could hear it during their time.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
I take that. Yeah, we have a talk back on
the ihead. Yes, Hi, my name is Eanna On.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
My neighbor from across the street loved to let their
dog do its business in my yard.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
I've talked to them about this many times, but I'm
always one.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Who ends up cleaning it up.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Frusting, going on for three years. Yay, I love that, Ayana.
You gotta do what I would do.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
You fight fire with fire, because first of all, to
let somebody do that it's crazy. But they're not your
next door neighbor. They're across the street. Why is why
are you letting your dog walk across the streets. So
now you just pick up the dog poop and you
go put it back on their loan. That's what I
would do, toss it against their door, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
You start just like but you just like don't want
to deal with it period though, Like I don't want
to have to touch or deal with picking up any
kind of dog poop period if it's not my responsibility.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Yeah, she said, this is going on for three years,
so at some point you got to let them know,
like all right, you.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Know, revenge enough, it's revenge time. This tex says.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
I live in an apartment and my neighbor has surround
sound and he plays his movies at the highest volume, so.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
It sounds like a movie theater next door.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
I would hate that, especially if it's a bad movie
or there's like killing uh I can't they're watching like
Interview with a Vampire and.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Everywhere that. I'm grateful that my neighbors now.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
I don't really speak to my neighbors now, And like,
growing up, I wasn't a big fan of just you know, hey,
what to borrow some sugar, like that cliche. Like me
and my neighbors know, we'll see each other in the
hallway passing, and we'll give each other like a like
a nod of acknowledgment, and then we just go about
our days.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
I agree, So I will say that, like I wish
the whole like neighbor idea was stronger, that we actually
weren't like so individualistic, be like, well, I only live
in my apartment and I do not interact with anyone
else because like I do like the girl who lives
above me, which makes me like hate how loud she is,
less because I like her as a person, And I
only know one other guy who lives in my building.
(07:22):
And I live in a small building, but there's like
ten people who live there and I know two of them,
and the guy I like, I don't even know his name.
I know his cat's name because his cat comes up
to the window and talks to me.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
And so I know him.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
But like, I don't know these people, but I would
love to. I wish our neighbors.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
There's the risk though, that then you don't want to
know them once you get to know them, like you
realize I'm just kidding, because like I had a friend
who they live next door to this couple who had
young kids and then they started having kids and so
like the neighbors would literally just like walk in the
house unannounced, like hey, you guys want to do something,
and they would like full.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
On walk into their house college.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Yeah, like we're not in the dorms, like there's got
to be I don't know. So I couldn't handle something
like that, Like I need a solid text in preparation
for something like that. But well, thanks, We've gotten so
many texts coming in. Thank you so much for the
text messages. I'm so sorry about all of you that
deal with your crazy neighbors.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
And you know, you can always move, but you probably
don't want to.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Probably don't want to
