Speaker 1 (00:00):
He loves me. He loves me, not only one way
to find out Four of the Roses. I'm Kati w B.
Sydney was cheating? Yeah, you were cheating. You were cheating,
weren't you?

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Well, and a lot of people are calling War of
the Roses because they think their partner is cheating. You're
not really worried about that. Tell me how you you
were cheating on Thomas Sydney. Tell me the whole story,
what happened. And by the way, Thomas does know about this,
so he knows. So what happened.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Well, this was two months ago, right, we were at
a company event and yeah, everything it was signed. But
then someone from the company came up to Summers, my boyfriend,
and told him that I was cheating on.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Him, and yeah, now I feel bad, right, but I
mean he was okay, right, he for gating me, right,
he said that he was okay with.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
That, Like, okay, So I'm going to help you a
little bit because I think that I don't know where
your accent's from, but it's very charming.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
I find your accent. Where you're from, your accent is
very charming.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Oh thank you. Yeah, I'm from Argentina.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Okay, so I'm going to help you a little bit
here because maybe she's a little bit nervous. So from
what I understand in the email, so there you're at
a work event and Thomas used to work there, so
your co workers know who Thomas is, right, yes, So
one of your co workers goes up to Thomas and says, Thomas,

(01:53):
I should let you know that Sydney, you were caught
sneaking up to the vacant sixth floor of your building. Right,
what were you doing? Who was the guy that you
sneaked up to the sixth floor with?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
What was his name?

Speaker 4 (02:11):
Paul?

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Okay, Paul. She felt like maybe I shouldn't say, but well, right, I.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Guess it doesn't. It doesn't really matter, Sydney. But so
you go up to the vacant sixth floor and you
were hooking up with Paul.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
At the office. Where were you?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
I mean, it's the vacant six floors, so there's no furniture,
there's nobody around it. There were you like over the
sink or what? What were you?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Where'd you go? Where'd you go?

Speaker 4 (02:39):
No phone?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
And we were by the phone and the water.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Okay, now this is kind of okay, I don't mean
to make light of this, because this is you know,
it sucks and whatever. But so you are up there
and you and eventually somebody catches you going up to the.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Sixth floor and then they tattle on you.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Well I was yeah, for bending over the water fountain. Okay,
so but but but now, so this person tells your
boyfriend Thomas at this gathering, and then I'm gonna guess,
did Thomas immediately, like on the ride home, confront you
about it or what?

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah? Okay, and what did you say? I told him
the truth?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Like I couldn't lie or was I gonna say like
there was nothing there.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
All those So you didn't try to lie your way. See,
I would have tried to lie my way out of it.
I would have said, well, I got off on the
wrong floor. What do you mean you got off on
the wrong with I literally got off on the wrong floor. Okay, no,
so okay, but now, but let's get to the reason
you're doing War of the Roses. You're not trying to
find out if Thomas is cheating because you know he's not.

(03:53):
You've noticed a difference ever since you admitted this, and
things are not the same.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Yeah, exactly, okay.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, do people cheat in Argentina as much as they
cheat here in America?

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Well?

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah worldwide.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Do you think cheating is a worldwide thing?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Oh yeah, I'm not asking you, fine, I'm asking I'm
asking somebody from Argentina.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Well, yeah it is. Did you also cheat when you
lived in Argentina?

Speaker 6 (04:24):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
No, no, like this was one thing, like it was
only one time. I didn't do that.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Well, I'm glad that you're listening to KATWB. First of all,
thanks for that. So you worry, So he's been distant
and you're worried that he's not the same and maybe
he's lost interest. So we're gonna call him and see
who he wants to send roses to. If he chooses Sydney,
then probably things are good.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
If he chooses somebody else, then maybe he's moved on.
So hang on, we'll be right back. We'll make the
phone call and we'll trick him into sending roses to somebody,
and we'll see who he chooses.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Okay, hang on, Sidney.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
And now the dramatic conclusion of War of the Roses, Well,
I don't.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Know one on one point three k d w B,
All right, let's make the phone call.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
This is basically Sydney was cheating at work with a guy.
She would sneak up onto a vacant floor at her
office building and they'd go up and hook up over
the water fountain. Ah okay, somebody caught them. That person
told Sidney's boyfriend, Thomas, and now they're still together, Thomas

(05:36):
and Sydney, but she is worried that he's lost interest.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Ye, she was forced to confess, but they seem to
have worked it out maybe maybe, And that's why she's
calling to figure that out.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Because she's worried that he won't send roses to her
because like he's, you know, just done, because he doesn't
want to be with her anymore. So we're calling right
now to see what Thomas says about the roses.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Hello, Hi, is this Thomas? Yeah, Hi Thomas. My name
is Sarah. I work for and I was just wondering
if you would be interested in taking a quick, very
quick customer satisfaction survey. And if you do, it's just
a couple of minutes, we will send for free a
dozen long stem romantic red roses to anyone in the

(06:21):
United States.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Would you take that survey?

Speaker 6 (06:23):
For me. No, I'm good.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
You don't want to send roses to anyone.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
A girlfriend of wife?

Speaker 6 (06:35):
No, no, I'm good, but thank you.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Okay, now they can get a little bit weird here
because this voice came out of nowhere. But it's like,
seems like everybody would have somebody to send roses to.

Speaker 6 (06:47):
You would think, yeah, I'm sorry, I'm confused.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Yeah, I understand. This is all of it.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
It's kind of a prank, but it's also a test, Thomas.
We're not calling from your phone company. We're calling from
KATIEWB Radio and we were put up to this by
your girlfriend, Sydney, to see if you would send roses
to Sydney because that's kind of your girlfriend and she

(07:14):
was hoping that you would send roses to her after
the big incident at work with Paul.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
You know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 6 (07:24):
Yeah, everybody knows what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Yeah, did you do you think everybody at work found
out about that?

Speaker 6 (07:30):
Everybody at told.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Me about Okay, yeah, so what what happened was Sydney
called us and she feels terrible.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
She's on the phone listening right now.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Oh great, So you don't want to send roses to.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
Me, Uh no, Sydney, I don't really want to send
roses to you for Paul.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
No, but now, you guys that it seemed like that
everything was going okay and she confessed after she got caught.
She confessed, and you sounded like you were okay and
you were going to try to work through it. But
what But obviously you're just not not into that.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
She told you that she.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
She said that she confessed.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
On the way home, you said, Hey, somebody told me
about you know, Paul on the sixth floor and the
water fountain. Well, I don't think that you knew about
the water fountain, but I guess it was over a
water fountain.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
But whatever, it doesn't matter. Erased that part from your mind.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
I didn't I want to hear it.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Yeah, I don't blame you, but but she said that
you had kind of forgiven her and you were going
to try to work things out.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
But apparently no, Yeah I did.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
I tried to forgive her. I did my best. But no,
it's all I can really think about it. Anytime I
look at her is whatever she was doing with Paul
fountain or what you just said. So no, I don't really.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Want to give her a water fountain and actually.

Speaker 6 (09:00):
Whatever, I don't It doesn't really matter, does it, Sydney
you're still there? Yeah, yeah, it doesn't really matter, does it?

Speaker 3 (09:12):
What you did?

Speaker 6 (09:12):
Where you maybe?

Speaker 4 (09:16):
I'm sorry? Are you already?

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Yeah, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
It was just one time.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
I don't know what to tell you said, there's consequences
when you do that, there's consequences. And you get some
radio hosts to call me to try to get me
to send you like trap me. You're trapping me on
the radio. I'm sorry, said, We're done. I try, but
I can't. We're done, babe.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
See, I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (09:48):
Are you already? I don't know what to do. I
don't know what else. Do you get in a time
machine and go back in time and not? Paul?

Speaker 1 (10:00):
How about that? Okay?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
War of the Roses on KDWB. Somebody said that was
a hard War of the Roses to listen to. Yes,
some of them are silly, some are kind of fun.
That was kind of a hard one.
