Speaker 3 (00:04):
War of the Roses on kat WB.

Speaker 4 (00:09):
Insecurity, you guys can be an ugly thing. And today
on War of the Roses, I am not judging you, Cody,
but there's maybe a little bit of insecurity with the
girl that you've been seeing. And that's why we're here
on War of the Roses. So let's find out. Cody,
tell me what's going on with Stephanie?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Is that right? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, I want to check
this out.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Cody doesn't even live here, but he listens to War
of the Roses.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I listening to you guys on my heart radio.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
No, look at that.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Appreciate you just set us as a preset on K
to be. So tell me a little bit about Stephanie
and the little bit of insecurity. What's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Well, Stephanie's great, you know, I mean honest, I think
she's the greatest. She's actually a really popular Instagram influencer.
And we've been together for about six months.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
And you say influencer. How many followers does she have?

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Man, I would say she has like more than one
hundred thousand.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Followers, like a couple of thousand, and.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
I'm like, that's pretty big. Yeah, that's pretty big. Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
And then without about and I'm always taking photos and
you know, uh like photo ops for her everywhere we go,
and her outfits and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
So what kind of influencing does she do?

Speaker 5 (01:30):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Well, she does like a passion influencing.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
She even has like sponsors or whatever that that sends
her clothes and stuff. And you know. But the thing
is the problem that I have is she never post
photos of the two of us.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
And I will tell you this, you sound very devastatingly handsome.
I know you can't always tell from somebody's voice, but
you sound devastatingly handsome.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
It takes one to know one.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
And I'm gonna write sure, And I'm going to also
guess that if you're going out with Stephanie, you probably
don't dressed like you just walked out of a garage sale.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
You probably dress pretty nice.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
No, no, no, she would never let me out of
the house if I wasn't dressed.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Now, okay, okay, good, So, but you're concerned that she
never puts you in any of the photos.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah, that's right. There's like no presence of me on
her Instagram at all.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Do you know if she ever used to post previous boyfriends?

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
No, actually, And I've gone back and looked, and I said,
is a good point. Not seen any previous boyfriend.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
I feel like once they broke up, though, she'd probably
go and archive those posts, so I understand why you
can't see them.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I don't think it's necessarily an insecurity. I used to
ask my girlfriend Alysta the same thing.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
But Alyssa also just has like three posts on her Instagram,
so it's not abnormal for her to not post anything.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I also think that influencers do the whole hard launch thing,
so it could be like a build up of like
eventually she's gonna post you so she can get like
a ton of likes. So maybe she's gonna start soft
launching you soon. Has she done anything more like your
hand is in something?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
No, none of that. And like I said, we've been
together for six months, so I know I'm a little
worried that. You know, either she's just completely keeping me
like a non existent person in her life so that
he has other opportunities, or maybe.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Like kind of like, oh look at me, I'm single. Yeah,
because maybe she's kind of constantly looking over your shoulder
to see if there's anybody else there.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
And I don't want to make you more insecure, Cody,
even though you don't really sound insecure. But if she's
got that many followers, I'm assuming she's an attractive person
and she does fashion stuff, there's probably a lot of
people in her dms, because like, that's just how social
media works.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Way not to make it, George, Yeah, thanks, Jenny, Yeah,
you're a big help.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
Okay, But yeah, I guess if her like public persona
is look at me, I'm a beautiful, gorgeous fashion single girl,
then yeah, I understand where the insecurity comes from.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
But I will say six months is not a long time.
I think for Bailey it's a long time.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
I think that's a long time.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
And both my last relationship for like eight months. What Yeah,
oh man.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
It's a big No, it is a big deal because
then ever it's like, oh, look at you. You and
Brian look so cute together. All right, So here's what
we can do. We can call Stephanie and you know,
we're not going to offer her roses, but what we
do is offer a date night out at like aristacation
or at a hotel for a weekend or something, and
then we get the name of you know her and
the name of the person she wants to bring along.

(04:33):
The clear choice should be you, Cody, and we'll see
who she chooses in just a second.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Can you hang on? Okay?

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Spoiler alert, someone's about to get exposed.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Part two of Where the Roses.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Starts right now on one on one point three Katie
w B.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Basically, she's an influencer and she does like fashion, and
she'll go out to different places and to take pictures.
And he's wondering, why am I never in any of
the pictures? Am I just like a photographer? Is there
a bunch of guys that you're seeing? So we're gonna
call her and see if we offered her a weekend
away somewhere like a staycation. Would she choose to go

(05:13):
with him or with a girlfriend or with some other guy?
And the funny thing is they don't live here, so
she has no idea what this is all about. Making
the call right now on Katie WB.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Stephanie, thanks for doing that with me today. So we
actually have a special offer going on where we are
offering everyone taking the survey a staycation and we had
partnered with for this one. So what I'm gonna need
from you firstus, I have the reservation, it's for two people,
and I have your information, but I'll need to know
who you're gonna bring with you for your plus one.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
Oh okay, yeah, I'm gonna bring Cody.

Speaker 8 (05:57):
Do you need both?

Speaker 7 (05:58):
Do you need last name Cody?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Perfect, I got it down for Cody's. That works great.
And then we're just gonna have to figure out some dates.
Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Well, no, you don't have to fu.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
You don't figure out anything at all, because let me
let me tell you what's really going on here. You
don't live here in Minneapolis, but that's where we're actually
calling from. And when I say we, this is a
radio station called Katie WB and we're in Minneapolis.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
Wait, yes, okay, is it not a survey?

Speaker 8 (06:30):
No, it's it's okay, I'll explain it to you.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
It's it's not a survey, but it's it's it's we
are trying to glean some information because we're trying to
figure out who you would want to go on this
little staycation with to find out if you would choose
your boyfriend Cody and you did. You chose Cody, So
that's good news. Let me okay, let me explain a

(06:53):
little bit more. No, it's not a prank. It's it's real,
but it's kind of a prank in away. First of all,
let me tell you this. Everything's okay. Your boyfriend Cody
is actually on the phone. Say hi, Cody, Hey, can
you hear him? Oh?

Speaker 8 (07:08):
I can so he Cody actually listens to our show
even though you guys don't live here because we I
don't know if he likes our show, but he wanted
to try to see if you would pick him for
this staycation because he was a little bit insecure.

Speaker 7 (07:27):
Why would I not pick him?

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Explain Cody, why you would feel a little bit insecure?

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Well, I've never seen and I'm sorry. I mean, I'm
glad you picked me, and you know, I'm happy about that.
But I've been together six months and you've never even
mentioned me or put me on your Instagram. I know
you've got a lot of followers and everything, and I
just feel like you were trying to hide me or something.
And you know, I was a little.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
Worried, Cody, I Cody Dave. I thought that we kind
of like talked about this.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
What did you say? What did you guys talk about.

Speaker 7 (08:02):
Yeah, okay, okay, well I listen. So I do social media,
like I that's my job. I am an influencer, you know,
like I do brand deals. I have a following and
that's you know, so.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Listen.

Speaker 7 (08:21):
I I I think you are handsome, but you're we
You're not conventionally attractive, do you know what I'm like.

Speaker 8 (08:31):
I'm not saying that's be mean because I I.

Speaker 7 (08:34):
Think you're gorgeo babe, like I do, but I just
don't think my followers are going to see what I'm seeing.
And I just think that they're going to be like
they're interactive, you know, like I have a connection with them.
That's my community, and they're going to be like, why
are you dating this guy? So like, I just don't
want you to see kid like I want to protect you.

Speaker 8 (08:55):
You know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
It's not about you, I swear, no, I don't know
what you mean.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
That's goin to hurt a little bit.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
I mean you know that you say I'm you say
I'm attractive, but I'm not attractive or your followers won't
find me attractive.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Well, it's like an esthetic thing.

Speaker 7 (09:14):
My instagram has like a very specific aesthetic and like
that's what people are following me for. And as much
as we have so much fun together and I love
spending time with you, babe, you know that, you know
we have something, but that's that's not part of it.
It's like what your your look is not the same

(09:36):
as what is on my Instagram. And I just think
it's going to be unfortunate when people are saying stuff
that you don't want to see anything.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Believes her, she is she justified, insane.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I don't think the controls out there.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
So I get we controls all the time too.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah, so I do get that part of it. However,
I don't think you want to tell the person you're
dating that you're not conventionally attractive and that people aren't
going to find you if you think he's attracted.

Speaker 8 (10:03):
I do, I do.

Speaker 7 (10:05):
I was just like, I don't know how else to
explain that. I mean, like, you guys have seen aesthetic.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Account they follow.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
No, You're right, let's face it.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
There, we all know a couple where they're a little
bit mismatched. And even though you might I'm sticking up
for her because even though she finds him. I've dated, like,
Julie was way too attractive for me, Susan's way too
attractive for me, but they like me anyway, And I think,
what's what's going on here is she doesn't want to

(10:34):
put him on blast if he goes on Instagram, it's like, ah,
it's my boyfriend Cody. And then some idiot's gonna be like, yeah,
he looks like he's ugly in a mud fence.

Speaker 6 (10:42):
Yeah, but still, I mean Selena Gomez post Benny Blanco
all the time.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
He looks like a goldfish.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Yeah, he's ditty Blanco though, And what happens when what happens?
You just called me, he said, he looks like a goldfish. Right,
That's why I get it. I'm on your side. That's
why she doesn't do it.

Speaker 7 (10:59):
Thank you. Yeah. And also like I wish I was
Selena Gome's blood bull. I'm like not quite there yet.
I'm hoping to be. But like people could be even
more mean, and I have like less defense.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
You know.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
A lot of people are via text saying you know what,
she's an influencer that makes her Instagram a business page.
When guys are looking at girls in their fashion where
they don't want to see a random boyfriend. I don't
post any personal political stuff on my business page, only
stuff that's going to make me money.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
I'm on her side on this one. I have been personally.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Another one, this text says, unfortunately, female influencers lose followers
when they post that they have a partner. If this
is their only source of income, and it sounds like
it is, I can understand why she might not post him.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
I kind of understand that to an extent too, because
when I became single again, I feel like suddenly people
were way more interested in my life, whereas when I
was naked they were like, I forget her.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
I mean get that too, are like saying, oh, she's
so vain, she's awful, trash. But it's it's interesting because
this one, it's either you don't like her or you're like, well,
you don't bring your boyfriend to work, so why would
you bring your boyfriend to work if you're an influ
good point.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
I totally am on her side.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Needs to just start her own page that isn't influencer page.
It's just for like family and friends, like close family
and friends. So then she can share her boyfriend and
then maybe that's the in between yes,
